Import certificate on firefix mobile

I'd like to use a website that requires an FBI issued .p12 certificate be imported. I know how to do this on regular firefox, but would like to use the site on my HTC Evo using firefox mobile. Can it currently be done? If not, can it be added?

  • How can i automate importing certificates?

My company is using zScaler for web filtering and we are trying to figure out how we can import certificate into firefox. I have tried copying the cert.db from one machine to another but the problem is that the page only loads with text, which implies the certificate is half working. if we remove the cert and manually import the cert it works fine. we are trying to find a way to automate the deployment of this certificate to 100+ machines. Please advise if this is possible.

I have not done this before, however there is posted information about with how to attempt this, for example: [http://community.spiceworks.com/how_to/show/15158-firefox-trust-a-local-certificate-authority-for-all-users-and-computers]
There is also the ESR community that does this alot. Check out their lists for community questions [https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/organizations/]

  • Import certificate to E51

    Hi,
I'm having a problem when trying to import certificates to my Nokia E51. When i downloaded the file from the web, my phone keep saying “File Corrupted”.
I have tried using other web solution and also uploading files to my own web server and setting the MIME types. Both ways i get the same result.
Anyone have any idea why its say corrupt?
    Thanks

    Hello,
It depends which type of certificat you would like to import.
Anyway crypto ca import command is a good start.
You can find 2 examples of certificates import here:

    Folks,
I've trawled through most of the posts where this has been in issue,

  • How do I install (import) certificat into FireFox using commad line?

I can import certificat using certutil.exe in command line, but this certificat is available only in Internet Explorer.
I can import certyficat into FireFox using its GUI. I must import that certificat on more then 60 PCs.
Question is: how do I install (import) certificat into FireFox using commad line?

    HI ScanBit,
Thank you for your question, in order to import the certificate in the command line you will need these resources:

  • SAP: CA certificate missing in database while importing certificate in ABAP

    Hi
We have a similar problem as the one described in
CA certificate missing in database while importing certificate in ABAP
however we ordered the certificate from SAP.
    The only error is:
    CA certificate missing in database
    Message no. TRUST057
    Diagnosis
The certificate response can only be processed if the certificate of
the CA is stored in the database.
    Procedure
Store the CA certificate in the database.
We believe we have done it in similar way before.
Do you know how to handle this?
    Thank you for your input.
    Best regards
    Flemming Grand

    Hi
I created an oss on this which sap now has responded on.
The certificate they sent to me was wrong - did't include the roor certificate (and the intermidiate - I think).
When I recieved the complete certificate I could import without any problems.

  • How to retrieve all imported certificates in my app?

I am able to import certificates but i am struggling to retrieve them . How can i achieve this ?
    19karabo91

You use one of the appropriate Certificate APIs:
    https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/windows/desktop/aa380252(v=vs.85).aspx#certificate_and_certificate_store_functions
    Perhaps something like
    CertGetSubjectCertificateFromStore would work for you.

  • "Cannot import certificate response" for SSL in STRUSTSSO2

    Hi
I have got an SSL certificate signed from verisign for my ECC5.0 SP17 backend. When I try to import this certificate response in Tr STRUSTSSO2 it says cannot import certificate response.
    Please help.

    Hi
Thanks for the helping me out. I have managed to find a fix for the problem. All you had to do was to restore the SSL certificate. I was trying to do this for a system which was a copy of the production and the certificate was generated for the system before the refresh. So all I had to do was to restore the SSL.

  • E-Sourcing importing Certificate to the Keystore

    Hi gurus
We are currently stuck while we try to implement LDAP integration. We are trying to import the secure SSL certificate into the keystore under java home on our server and it is not recognising the imported certificate.
    Syntax we are using is:
    C:\j2sdk1.4.2_14\jre\bin>keytool -import -trustcacerts -alias us01.apmn.org -file D:\eso\keystore\agi76_ssl_response.crt -keystore C:\j2sdk1.4.2_14\jre\lib\security\cacerts
It says successfully imported. However we are not able to Synchronize our Microsoft AD on 636 port.
Our certificates are issued by a Certificate Server not an AD Domain controller. Does this matter?
    PLEASE HELP
    Thanks

I finally succeeded in importing an image with a file location. The problem is the DataLocationID you had to provide. This is a GroupNode and it´s a hierarchical structure. You had to split the filename into the path components and create nodes in the tree for every component.

  • How to implement a client application to import certificate?

    Hi,
We write a small application(in VC) to import the user's PKCS#12 certificate to their browsers(no matter what browsers, IE,firefox,chrome,opera...) automatically to minimize user's manual operation.
Now it can import PKCS#12 to CertStore of Microsoft, which means support IE/Chrome/Opera.
But how can I import a pfx to FireFox in programm?
I only found certutil.exe, but we prefered API and libraries which can link into our application.
Is this viable? Where can I find such APIs? I read NSS reference, it seems not what I want.
    Or you have other suggestions?
    Thank you in advance.

    Hello,
Based on your response, you are looking for a C++ application that can import the certificate into Mozilla's certificate store. Is that correct? If so, you can use the NSS APIs[1] to do this. There is a certificate import API in NSS[2] that can be used to implement this. You will need to initialize the certificate store and then import the required certificate. I was also able to locate a StackOverflow link[3] that can help you in this. Please let us know if this helps you in importing the certificates. Also have provided reference for a Javascript API for doing the same thing [4].
    # [https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/NSS/Certificate_functions NSS Certificate functions]
    # [http://mxr.mozilla.org/security/ident?i=CERT_ImportCerts MXR reference for CERT_ImportCerts]
    # [http://stackoverflow.com/questions/1435000/programmatically-install-certificate-into-mozilla StackOverflow's link for NSS cert import]
#[https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/JavaScript_crypto/importUserCertificates Javascript API to import certificates]
Hope this helps in your application. Please do respond if you need further assistance and I will see if I can locate any test code.

  • Can't save master password nor import certificates

    Hi,
I have a problem trying to sign a document with a certificate. I had imported it when I was using Firefox 3.6 and it used to work ok to identify myself to log in to some site. However, I never tried to sign a document with that certificate. (I work with a Mac, in case that is relevant.)
I recently uploaded to Firefox 4, and now I try to sign a document. Ok, so Firefox asks me for my master password. I had not set one (or I can't remember), so what I did is to "reset" the master password. Now, I try to set a new master password: I fill in the fields, click "Accept"... but it doesn't do anything, so the master password can't be set.
Also, if I try to import a certificate (which was removed when I reset the master password), I can choose the file and choose a password for it, but again when I click "Accept" the password is not set: simply nothing happens.
Has anyone else had these problems? Is it a Firefox4 issue or did it also happen before? How can I solve it?
    Thanks in advance!
    jordimp

Hi, I had the same problem, and I read somewhere that according to a mozilla knowledgebase article, the master password is a requirement for importing certificates (although the corresponding KB page is now unavailable)
I tried the following and it worked for me:
    - export the certificates to the desktop
    - delete the certificates from firefox
    - set a master password on firefox (preferences - security - use master password)
    - import the backed up certificates
You should now be able to sign.
    Hope this helps
