Import contacts in Nokia 130

We have 150 contacts in PC Suite + Nokia Suite + exported as .csv+.txt. And in an old 6230i.
How can we import them into our new 130? Sending via Bluetooth as vcard one by one works but would take hours of manual operations.

I Just bought a Nokia 130 dual sim phone. I have more than 650 contacts in my old phone which allows these to be exported via bluetooth in a .vcf format. However, Nokia 130 only recognises the first contact. I then miserably tried importing the data to outlook and then creating a .csv file. Still I'm unable to get the contacts in to the phone.
Copying from SIM is really cumbersome. NOKIA... PLEASE HELP.

@Buoy your phone is based on the operating system Series 30+ (MediaTek) which was introduced in November 2013. Because of that, the phone models Nokia 220 and Nokia 225 behave in similar ways. Therefore, does this help?

Synchronizing Contacts with Nokia 6500

I replaced my old Nokia 6230i with the Nokia 6500. The first time I got it, I immediatly synced my contacts to my new Nokia phone through Isync. Went pretty well, only 3 contacts gave problems. Now after a month on Holiday I tried to update (sync) my contacts but it won't anymore. It starts correctly and promising but halfway it stalls (like 87% done) then Isynch tells me: Something got wrong during retrieving information from phone. Syncing is probably canceled on the phone. There must be going something wrong on the way from phone to mac, but what if I want a one way sync?
Who has any tip how to get this going?

I tried that at first, but ended up flooding my phone with a whole lot of contacts that were (1) a duplicate of the ones on my phone and/or (2) were contacts with just emails and no phone numbers (as is the case for many of my outlook contacts).
My primary objective is to backup my mobile phone addressbook, so that if I lose the phone, I don't lose my important contacts. I was hoping to import mobile -> outlook first, clean up everything, then sync both.
But it seems even when I sync both ways, the Outlook updates my mobile, but not the other way around.
- could you create a new contacts folder in outlook and sync the contacts from phone to that empty folder ?
How do I do that? PC Suite only gives me an option "Microsoft Outlook" or "Outlook Express". It doesn't point to any particular folder.

No, you will need to convert the files on a PC before they can be used on the phone. I don't know of any app that can convert video files on the device.

Help !!! Transfering of iPhone contact to Nokia

Am going to relocate to a workplace where no camera phones are allowed.
Is there anyway i could transfer the contacts stored in my iPhone to Nokia.
I do understand that iPhone dont store contacts in Sim Card,
but is there anyway we could change the iPhone backup contacts file to be readable by a Nokia phone (or for any other makers)

Try to use the software that came with the Nokia to import the contacts from the PC
Unable to import contact as they are in format unrecognise by the Nokia software
Or try to use software like touchcopy (http://www.wideanglesoftware.com/touchcopy/) or similar to copy your contacts to your PC
Believe this is only for Iphone and Ipod

When i updated my firmware on nokia e 71 i saved my messages to my pc using nokia messaging center as csv format.After upgradation when i tried to take it back the import option was disabled.
I can do only export or what ?.
Can anyone help me to sort out this issue pls..

The Import Contacts feature is available only in an Express site template.

Do you have a google account setup on your Lumia??
If so
There should be an option in Nokia Suite to export all contacts to a CSV file
Export your contacts from Nokia Suite
Log into your Google/Gmail Account in a Web Browser on your PC
If in the Gmail Tab, Click on 'Gmail' at the left hand side under the Google Logo
Select 'Contacts'
On this screen you should now see any Google contacts if any.
At the top of this list there is a button for adding a contact and another button Labelled 'More'
Click this and select 'Import'
Browse to your CSV file and import your contacts
When your phone next syncs with your Google account, All the new contacts should be copied across

I have Nokia E71 and I have problem in searching a very important contact which I ha added about 14 days ago.
I am very confused for how can I search this contact as fast a possible.
I there is any way to search this contact as I am not remembering any single detail of this saved contact and I have about 750 contacts saved in my cell, so to find one by one each contact is also not possible. So anyone please help. Any paid or unpaid application installation availability is also preferable as that contact is very important for me.

You can search that contact if you install Zebrost from ovi store. Here is the link for installing Zebrost-

After installing Zebrost, go to your contact list and type #a15 if you want to search the contact that you saved 15 days ago and #a20 if you want to search contact saved in last 20 days and so on. You can also search the contact with job title as manager as it searches contact in all fields.

Can't import contacts

Nokia 3120 classic, Windows XP professional, Nokia PC suite 7.0.8.2.
Just installes the whole lot & connected via bluetooth. Tried to edit my contacts on the phone (both SIM & phone memory active) but all I see on Nokia PC suite are the imported contacts from Outlook. Why can't I see my phone's contacts on my PC?

If you double click the contact menu icon in pcsuite, it will get it from your connected phone.

Hey @piyali, I wanted to inform you that your phone doesn't have a software to transfer that information. But for you to know when you transfer the messages to the computer it will just appear a regular notepad document, so basically, you could just copy the information from the text message into a notepad in your computer and you can keep those important memories for yourself.

Almost unable to import contacts from ASCII

Hi, I have 8220 and Desktop software 6.0.1.18 on Vista 32.
So I have a problem getting data from ASCII file. It is very strange, but when importing contacts, the intellisync (?) tool considers cyrillic letter 'я' as the end of the record and begins the next record. After the first record with this letter, all other records are being imported incorrectly. I had Desktop manager 5 with this problem and upgraded to 6 but nothing changed.
At first, I thought I changed originally-exported file, but then I made an experiment when I used the exported file and got the same result
This problem doesn't appear when synchronizing to and from Windows.
Originally, I had to change almost all phone numbers. I exported to CSV, opened in excel (open office calc) and saved as CSV. I did my best to preserve the structure of the CSV file. So, if I replace this letter 'я' by another character, I will be able to import my contacts.
I was also looking for "intellisync" but found Nokia site saying "page doesn't exists anymore"
BTW, Russian translation of the synchronization tool is terrible. Fortunately, they draw arrows and other well-known symbols.

I have also problem with importing from CSV files (BB 9800 Torch and the latest BB desktop software) as soon as it contains 'я' letters. If being replaced, those entries make no problem.
RIM team, an import function is a must for any phone. I expected a much more mature implementation from your sync product (sorry to say that).
