Import into SLD does not work

Hi to all,
I want to synchronize the central sld of our production XI with the backup from the test sld, like in note 935474 grouping sld instances described. Import of CIM model works, import of backup of sld doesn't work. It is impossible to import a file bigger than 1023k. Import fails without error message in the log, only IE error message server not found.Is there a max upload size ? Don't know where to look ?

I just can't listen to an album for the 1/2 to 1 hour that it takes to import it into my library.

Two JVM's ? I thought that J2EE worked within a single JVM and run everything in containers. Can you see the two processes?

Import mail function does not work for Outlook Express

working on a windows 8.1 laptop, trying to import emails from a Outlook Express directory that was moved to the new PC. Latest Thunderbird is running and the import starts and then very quickly finishes without importing anything.

Thunderbird import does not work on my XP machine either, I already tried it. Do you mean that outlook Express has to be running at the time of import?
I did migrate the mail folder into Windows live email, so I have access to the email but only as a kludgy 2 email solution.
Thunderbird does not recognize Live Mail, so that was not helpful.
I think the import broke in some previous release and has not been tested lately.

Docking into stereo does not work anymore.

Yesterday I updated my iPod touch as iTunes was asking me to do so for several weeks.
Now, when I dock into my stereo, the sound does not come out of the stereo anymore. Before the update it worked perfect.
Anyone had the same issue and knows how to resolve.

Thanks for the tip. After 1 hour searching and trying, I finally succeeded and it works again.
It's a shame that new version of software are not always better... That is why I normally don't mess with something that works fine.

Synchronisation of two SLDs does not work

Hello everybody,
I try to configure a unidirectional synchronisation between two SLDs based on NW 7.0 SR3.
The first SLD is my central one. Here are all ABAP and JAVA-Systems registered. That is the part, which works as expected.
Now I want, that these information are synchronized to another (backup)-SLD. Therefor I want to use the
administration => datasupplier functionality, to add another SLD.
In the source SLD I added the "backup"-SLD URL and user/pwd.
After that I restarted the SLD -Server. But nothing happens. Must I be more patiently and wait until the registered systems actualized there information or what should I do?

Hi,
When the Data gets transferred from another sub-module(or I should call sub-interface) to accounting , it validates the fields according to field status group (as you said in FSG in GL Master data).
In you case it seems that the sender object has personal number mandatory and while the receiver (i.e GL in this case ) does not have the field open. Hence the error.
You could change the sender or the receiver FSG however the implications of each change needs to be analyzed.

Wake from hibernation into win7 does not work

i installed win7 64bit and bc 3.1 64 bit and now I want to schedule windows media center recordings and they don't wake the computer. I tried to schedule a task directly myself and even this did not work.
I activated that the task can wake the computer and for all energy schemes waking the computer is permitted.
Did anybody have a similar behavior? A scheduled wake up on snow leopard works, but my usb DVB-t receiver is not recognized there...
Is there a freeware dvb software for mac?
I mainly installed the win7 in order to watch blue ray discs from the external drive, that works fine actually but requires M$ win... and I wanted to stick to one OS for an increased WAF for the whole system.
Any help is highly appreciated!!!!!!

Do Not Import Duplicates simply does not work any more

I've been using Aperture from the beginning, and this always worked before:
I have a single folder for each month's imports
1. copy files via card reader to folder for month on firewire 800 drive
2. load Aperture, choose Import, Leave Files where they are then select do not import duplicates - it imports files
Later I will download another card to the same further, and follow 1 & 2 above.
Now, no matter how many times I do it, it simply shows ALL the files in the folder, and will import them all again, creating new versions each time.
Clicking on and off the do not import duplicates check box has no effect whatever.

I have also just run across this Jonathan. This feature always worked before for me. I had some previously imported images on my CF card in camera along with new ones and it now takes all images even with the "Do not Import Duplicates" checked.

'Do not import duplicate images' does not work

For some weird and frustrating reason, the 'Do not import duplicates' checkmark doesnt seem to be functioning. Over the past few weeks, I have ended up importing duplicate and triplicate copies of images even though the checkmark on 'Do not import duplicate images' is checked. I dont know why this is happening.
My import settings are customized, but then this was done long before i started facing this problem.
I usually dont delete images till my card is full, and this results in duplicates before everytime I import images from a new shoot, images from the previous shoot also get imported, unless I manually deselect them.
Any help on this would be appreciated.

Yes I rename my files while importing. But I have been doing that for a while now, didnt face this issue earlier. Not sure what you mean by 'Signature'?.
I upgraded to ML a few days ago, so my sys config is MacOS 10.8 & Aperture is 3.3.2 (I've been facing this issue even before i upgraded to ML, so I dont think its related to ML).
I always import directly from my camera (i.e. card) and this issue seems to have cropped up somewhere after the release of Aperture 3.3.
Also, I have sent f/b to Apple on this issue (n vow, they seem to be collecting customer profile data thru this f/b. Look at the number of irrelevant questions they have).

Importing into iPhoto 8 Not Working

I am trying to import some photographs into iPhoto 8, first from a card reader. It imported a few but then I got an error box that said "Unreadable Files: 127" and then "The following files could not be imported (they may be an unrecognized file type or the file may not contain valid data)."
Then I successfully copied all the image files to my desktop. And they will open in Photoshop. However, I still get the same error message when I drag them to iPhoto from the desktop or when I go into the app's File menu-->Import to Library... They are all jpgs at around 1.4 MB - 3.3 MB each.
So what gives and how can I get them into iPhoto?

No, it suggests that the existing Library is damaged.
iPhoto os good for 250,000 images, so unless you're bumping up on that number, I think the issue is with the library database.
Download iPhoto Library Manager and use its rebuild function. This will create a new library based on data in the albumdata.xml file. Not everything will be brought over - no slideshows, books or calendars, for instance - but it should get all your albums and keywords back.
Because this process creates an entirely new library and leaves your old one untouched, it is non-destructive, and if you're not happy with the results you can simply return to your old one.

RAW Photos from Canon EOS 7d imported into Aperture still not working...

I have just purchased a new macbook pro with the most current operating system and have updated Aperture 2 to the most current version and my Canon EOS 7d RAW files are still showing up with a red box message "Unsupported File Format"......WHY ISN'T IT WORKING?! I've been waiting for months for this to work and finally they say it will work with the update and it it doesn't. And I read about the "~" issue and I checked and don't have that condition in any of my folders. PLEASE HELP!

In addition to the above comments, make sure you have run "Software Update" (if you're new to the Mac, click the Apple icon in the upper-left corner then select "Sofwtare Update..." from the pull-down menu).
The EOS 7D, being rather new, requires that you have +Digital Camera RAW Compatibility Update 2.7+ installed. This is an update to Mac OS X (not an update to Aperture.)
If unsure, open "System Preferences" -> "Software Update" -> "Installed Software" and view the list of updates to ensure that you specifically have that update already installed.

Conversion of a pdf into Word does not work

I converted a pdf (text only) into a Word file. Contrary to previous cases, the new file is just a single lump of text and I cannot work on single words/lines.
Any suggestion as to how to make it workable?

How did you convert the file? Adobe Reader cannot convert documents, unless you use the ExportPDF service. If you used this, please ask in the ExportPDF forum http://forums.adobe.com/community/exportpdf

"Import to Library" does not work

I choose "file" -> "Import to Library.." and get no response. Any idea why?

great problems with my library. I've already imported both raw, jpg and other files.
Actually I cannot import any image. if I try to import raw, it cannot import because of a writing problem within the Library volume. If i import Jpg or Tiff or Png etc, it doesn't import bacause of unsupported file type.
I already tried to run all the options given by clicking cmd alt shift (i supposed to verify permissions on library, thumbnails), but i failed.
I also tried to create a new library, but doesn't work.
I also copied files directly, but when i open Iphoto, it doesen't recognize any new image.
What happened?
What can i do?
