Import iphone 4 video to ipad (the "new" one)

Hey there,
I shot a video with my iphone 4 and want to import it to the ipad to work on it with iMovie.
Is it still the same as I need to convert the video or is there an easy way?
Currently I can see the video on the ipad under videos, but I can not add it to iMovie, I only see the videos I shot with the ipad

It explains how to transfer videos or projects.
We talk about iPad to iPad but imagine the one iPad is your iPhone.
What you did wrong was copy the video to the movies tab, you should be importing video via the photos tab.
Then the photos app can see it, and so also iMovie.
iMovie cannot edit from the movies app (this is for copyright movies).

If you are using a Bluetooth keyboard on your iPad device, you should take advantage of the keyboard shortcuts for quicker access to copy, cut, paste, undo, redo, and other commands.
Command + C : Copy Selected Text
Command + V : Paste
Command + X: Cut Selected Text
Command + Z: Undo
Command + Shift + Z: Redo
Command + Delete: Delete everything to the left of the cursor on the current line
Option + Delete: Delete the word to the left of the cursor
Command + Up Arrow: Go to top of document
Command + Down Arrow: Go to bottom of document
Command + Left Arrow: Go to beginning of current line
Command + Right Arrow: Go to end of current line
F1: Dim screen
F2: Brighten screen

Refurbished Iphone 4 Cheaper Than The New One? Why?

I'm just confused as to why a refurbished iphone 4 is cheaper than a regular brand new new one when they can perform the same things. What makes a brand new iphone 4 stand out from a refurbished iphone 4? I' might to get a refurbished iphone from ebay (link below)

As to the "iPhone 5 test", that's a total scam. Congratulations: you've just signed yourself up for all sorts of spam as well as possible indentity theft. Apple never, repeat never, recruits testers for their hardware by some anonymous and random email. They don't use people from the general public to test new hardware at all, but if they ever wanted to contact you would do so directly.
Probably time to get a new email address, as your current mailbox is probably going to get hammered with spam now. And if you were really foolish and gave them your home and cellphone numbers and address, you're going to get marketing calls and all sorts of junkmail.

I forgot to backup old iphone before setting up the new one

I got an iphone 5s today and forgot to backup the 4s before setting up my 5s. The last backup on the 4s occured Sept. 18th. The new 5s only has the content that happened before the 18th of course. Is there a way to redo all of this so I can retrieve that content?

Why does my iPhone (4S) and iPad (The New iPad) keep asking me for my Apple ID password after I created an iCloud account and merged my old Apple ID with a new one?

I got an iPad2 for Christmas and went to the Apple Store to have them transfer over my contacts from my iPhone4S to the iPad2. They said they had to do it over iCloud and help me set up an iCloud account. But I had an old Apple ID (one without an "@icloud.com" name or other email address attached to it). When they did that it basically screwed up my whole Apple ID account. Now, both my iPhone4S and iPad2 randomly prompt me to enter my Apple ID password for my old Apple ID!, which they said does not exist anymore. So confused...please advise.

The email you should NOT have published, is your iCloud, not Apple ID
You Apple ID is a valid email address
This is a user forum, not Apple customer service.
I gather the security question did not work.
If you have an email address, why not use that?
If this fails you have to contact support and schedule help.

Stolen iPhone, Apple care on the new one?

I'm sure it's not posted in the good community, but I have no idea where else to post it.
I recently got my iPhone stolen with an Apple Care warranty. I know my phone is lost into the woods, but now, I just want to know if there's a possibility of me getting the Apple Care warranty of my old phone, on my new iPhone. Because I don't feel like paying 100$ for it one more time..

you want to transfer your applecare agreement to another phone, correct?
You should contact AppleCare technical for that one, they might be able to transfer it, depending on exact conditions, like the purchase date of the old phone. No garantuees, though.

Re-importing iPhone video back into the iPhone

Last night I shot a video using my iPhone4. I imported it into iPhoto on my MacBook Pro and deleted it from my iPhone. Now I want it back on my iPhone, but I've tried everything and it won't go back onto my iPhone. Pictures in iPhoto in a sync folder are showing up on my phone, but even though the video is in that folder, it doesn't show up on my phone in Photos. Do videos show up someplace else? I'm confused. Help! Thanks!

I found another thread that suggests checking the "include videos" in the Photo sync part of iTunes. I'll try that tonight.

My iPhone broke and I had to disable it by deleting it from 'Find my iPhone' when I receive the new one in the mail, will I be able to back it up to the backup I made before I deleted it from 'find my iPhone'?

My iPhone stopped working so under my insurance they are sending me a new phone. They asked that I erase it from Find my iPhone so I can send it back and so i did that and now my macbook air FaceTime and iMessage isn't working. My prime concern is about if the backup from iTunes still work so I can backup my new iPhone when I receive it. there were a lot of important things on it.

There should be no reason you cannot restore your replacement phone with the backup that you made from your old phone.

no they are already in mp3 format I just tried that home sharing today because I couldnt find any other reason why they werent syncing. here is an example of a sync I just tried. I made an mp4 concert into an mp3 it came out perfect on my computer.. then I tried to sync it to my ipad with no luck, other than it going on my computer, it did not show up anywhere on my ipad in any area of the music sections etc playlists, songs, albums etc. Its just not there but remains on my computer. thats why I tried the home share today to see if that would help. Either I am really missing something or there is something wrong with this ipad. I'm using ipad mini and the iOS is 7.0.4. I used an Apple ID (called: A), and I activated my ipad, used iCloud & Find my iphone with this A account. But now I've changed address of Apple ID from A@.... to the new one: B@.... (just changed email address of Apple ID, not create a new ID), and then I signed out iCloud, old Apple ID, etc... on my ipad and signed in with new id B@.... Everythings seem OK, I can sign in/out iCould, turn on/turn off Find my iphone as well with the new one (B@...)
But I still have a question (and still confusing with it): What will happend when I restored my ipad? I mean my iOS is 7, so which Apple ID will be asked to re-activate my ipad after I restore it, old id A@.... (this one cannot be used now) or the new one B@...., please?

If you've succesfully changed the ID for iCloud and Find my phone, it will be your new ID you use if you need to restore it.

It sounds like you would like to sync your phone to your new computer. I would start by using the following article to transer your iTunes and App Store purchases to your computer from your phone.

Note: If you had content that was not purchased from the iTunes Store you will need to re import the content from its original media, to your iTunes library separately.
Then backup your device to iTunes with this article:
iOS: Back up and restore your iOS device with iCloud or iTunes

After your puchases are transferred, and your device is backed up you can Erase and Sync the device, and restore your backup to it, that way moving forward you can sync it like you used to.

Have you copied your content over from your old computer and onto the new on ? If not, and you still have your old computer, then there a number of methods described on this page which you can use to copy your library over : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4527 . If you no longer have your old computer then have you got a backup of your content that you can copy onto the new computer and add into iTunes ?

That's by design; photo stream only uploads photos taken after turning on photo stream, not earlier photos. Adding earlier photos to photo stream can be done in a couple of different ways:
Open the photos one at a time and take a screenshot. This will add a new low resolution copy of the photo to the camera roll, which will then upload to your photo stream;
Email the photos a few at a time to yourself, then save the attached photos to your camera roll. This will add a copy of the photo at full resolution to your camera roll and upload to photo stream;
Use an app like PhotoSync, which will allow you to wirelessly transfer copies of all your old photos to your computer all at once. Then delete these photos from your camera roll and use PhotoSync to transfer them back from your computer to your camera roll. These will be the original resolution and will upload to your photo stream. (You need an app like this because iTunes will not transfer photos back to your camera roll, where they must be in order to add to your photo stream.)
