Import JPEG Getting Error!

I'm trying to import various files into FCSP 5. I can't import any type of file...jpeg, aiff, etc...I get this following error statement:
File Error: 1 file(s) recognized, 0 access denied, 1 unknown.
I don't know what it means. I have tried troubleshooting but i'm at a complete loss! Don't use final cut hardly ever because we have a Avid Symphony Nitrous HD along with a second bay that has Avid Media Composer. Please help!

Try converting the JPEGS to TIFFS or PNGs. FCP has some difficulty with JPEGS...sometimes. Plus they are highly compressed.

Got a new 2tb time capsule and have moved all my music to it and thought I was finally successful (though I have somehow lost some songs and recovered some...though some still cut off right at the end??) but now my biggest issue is itunes will not allow me to import any music, cd or downloaded files. I get the message when importing a cd "error occured while importing the file "song name" An unknown error occured (-50). I get the same error when trying to add downloaded music files also. I am really getting frustrated, itunes did not use to be so difficult to maintain. If we figure this out maybe someone can also help figure out why some songs are cutting off. I have researched this for a couple of days and unfortunatley am not finding much help. Thanks!!

1. You did not get an error message telling you that your iPhoto library was getting full. You got a message telling you that your HD was getting full, right?
OS X needs about 10 gigs of hard drive space for normal OS operations - things like virtual memory, temporary files and so on.
Without this space your Mac will slow down as the OS hunts for space on the disk, files will be fragmented, also slowing things down, apps will crash and the risk of data corruption - that is damage to your files, photos, music - increases exponentially.
Your first priority is to make more space on that HD. Nothing else can be done until you do.
Purchase an external HD and move your Photos and Music to it. Both iPhoto and iTunes can run perfectly well with the Library on an external disk.
Your Library has been damaged from being run on an overfull disk.
How much free space on it now?

Regarding:
THERE ANY WAY I CAN PUT MULTIPLE RANDUM TRANSITIONS IN TO THE TIME LINE WITH JUST ONE CLICK ? .
There is no transition choice for random transitions across the Premiere Elements 12 workspace Timeline. But, the Elements Organizer 12/Create Menu/Slideshow and its Slideshow Editor does have that random transition choice. So, one possibilitity would be to create your slideshow in Elements Organizer 12 Slideshow Editor and then move the slideshow into Premiere Elements with the Output of Edit with Premiere Elements Editor command.
Pending more details of the slideshow you are creating, I think that you would get your best photo quality and overall results staying with Premiere Elements 12 workspace (1080p) project and the transitions randomized manually.
perhaps applying the default to all (all at the same time),
using Timeline Menu/Apply Default Transition,
and then replacing transitions randomly for the random transition look).
Please let us know if any of that worked for you.

I am using video clips from sony digital hi8 camera and trying to import video clips (.mov) 720*480 fps 29.97 .But unable to get into premiere pro cs5.System configuration:
MAC 10.6.4
2.66ghz intel core i7
4gb ram
nvidia geforce gt 330 mn.

Actually ,i have checked the inspector panel and i found same infomation in
in this panel for both clips .please check these clips screen shoots seprately .
Actually i have a long video clip and i have scatterred this clip into 6 diffrent portions
where i am not able to import the last video clip.It is giving me same error "file contain too many audio channels"".

I too am getting this error in Premiere CS5. I was digitizing a Broadcast VHS and since I did not have a breakout box, I hooked it up to a Sony DV deck so I could connect via firewire and capture inside Premiere. I was able to capture and import 1 of the 3 clips and it did have 4 audio channels attached to it. However, upon closer inspection only 2 channels had a waveform. I captured the other 2 clips the same way, but this time, Premiere give the error "The file contains too many audio channels."
Any ideas?

i am successfully export the users using CSSExport.bat using the importexport.properties from hyperion 9.2.1 and when i am trying to import using CSSImport.bat and i am getting below errors

If you want only to import 1 schema (= 1 user), you need to create the schema before running the import with CREATE USER:
CREATE USER universe40 IDENTIFIED <password>
DEFAULT TABLESPACE <ts data>
QUOTA UNLIMITED ON <ts data>
TEMPORARY <temp ts>;
where <ts data> is the tablespace name for your data
and <temp ts> is the temporary tablespace name
and give this user the privilges to create objects:
GRANT RESOURCE TO univers40;

When Import get Error-00904 Invalid Column Name

I'm using DI Premium 3.0 with Oracle 10.2.0.1.0 repository. I'm trying to connect Oracle 8.1.4.7.1 (8i) but when i going to import tables get Error-00904 Invalid Column Name. If i connect to Oracle 10.2.0.4.0 don't get error.
Trying from DI XI R2 (11.7) with Oracle 10.2.0.2.0 repository, to connect Oracle 8.1.4.7.1 (8i) don´t get error!
Is error from Oracle repository version?

Getting error message on import that says can't import jpeg files and won't import

why can't I import from the camera that I always use with my iPhoto? On connecting the camera, error message says "can't import jpeg files." None of my camera settings have changed. Is it a problem of connectivity with old camera and new iPhoto '11?

Not an old camera problem - most likely a memory card format problem - when was the last time you reformated yoru card?
What camera do you have? Does image capture work?

I am trying to run "Payables Open Interface Import" program to upload the invoice but the program is getting error out, in the log file at the end i am getting the below error:

Getting error while importing tables

Hi,
I have the servers on linux box and clients are installed on my local machine. I have created on DSN for connecting Biserver.
When i'm trying to import tables i am getting an error.
I have placed tns entries in Linux box as mentioned below path.
OBIEE/Oracle_BI1/network/admin
But even though i am not able to import table getting an error.. 'Connection fail'

Since you are using client to import table is it not required in local for tnsnames.ora?
For server you have set that helps after hosting the rpd file, I hope you are not using online mode to import table if you are doing that I dont think that will work...
Try to use your connection details something like below
Call Interface: Default (OCI 10g/11g)
Data source Name->localhost:1521/XE
If helps mark or else let us know your basic test to connect to database like tnsping from command etc..

This phase checks various requirements for importing a Support Package. This phase may terminate for the following reasons:
¡        TP_CANNOT_CONNECT_TO_SYSTEM: tp cannot log on to the database of the system.
¡        QUEUE_NOT_EMPTY: There are incompletely processed OCS requests in the tp buffer. Use the following tp command to display these requests:
     tp SHOWBUFFER -D SOURCESYSTEMS= TAG=SPAM
You can only continue to import the queue after these requests have been completely processed, or deleted from the tp buffer.

Getting error while importing metadata using View Objects

I am trying to create a repository using View Object in OBIEE 11.1.5.1 but getting error while viewing the data, after importing the metadata in the repository "[nQSError: 77031] Error occurs while calling remote service ADFService11G. Details: Runtime error for service -- ADFService11G - oracle/apps/fnd/applcore/common/ApplSession".
I am also getting error "žADFException-2015: The BI Server is incompatible with the BI-ADF Broker Servlet: BI Server protocol version = null, BI-ADF Broker Servlet protocol version = 1" during testing my sample which is deployed to Admin server. I followed BI Adminstrator help file guide in order to create the sample for creating repository using view object.

Thanks to both of you for attempting to help. I finally figured out what was wrong . . . it was a Permissions problem. Very frustrating, but after scouring the troubleshooting tips I finally found the one that solved my problem. I had to add a User and give it Read/Write privileges to Lightroom. The file I had to add the User to was Hidden on my Mac, so that added an even bigger challenge to the mystery. Only a few days left on my trial version! I hope I have time to try it out!

Don't worry I've sorted it! I just had to turn off Reminders as well in iCloud. Calendar then worked fine, even when I turned Calendar and Reminders back on.
