Import manual budgets in B1 V9

Hi
A customer has asked if we can import manual budgets into B1 V9 from a spreadsheet / ascii file
I haven't done anything with budgets before but I did find one discussion on the forum about this but it was never answered
Just wondered if anyone else has done this please ?
Many thanks
Andy

Hi Andrew,
What happens if you comment out these two lines ?:
BGT.TotalAnnualBudgetDebitLoc = 780
BGT.TotalAnnualBudgetDebitSys = 780

  • Manual Budget Entry for COPA

    Hi,
We are using COPA for budgeting operating expense. Our cost will be budgeted by cost center, product and region. At the GL level, it is a combination of cost element and characteric value (each characteristic represent a GL code / cost element).
We are having problem in creating planning framework using manual budget entry, using transaction code KEPM. The problem faced is we do not know how to create a form (thru report painter) to be used for this manual entry which is flexible enough for us to choose the characteristic value from the parameter screen when performing the budget entry.
    Thanks

    Dear Susee,
The layout or form is not required to be created by using report painter. On KEPM right click planning level create planning level say sales right click planning level sales and create planning package say sales planning for year 2007. after creating double click the planning package create parameter set.

  • How to remove a hotfix that was imported manually via the Microsoft Update Catalog

Is there any way to remove a hotfix that was imported into SUP by manually importing it into WSUS from the update catalog?  I know making changes in WSUS that is used for SUP not advised but if I decline those updates will they get removed from the
    SUP catalog?

Maybe. You are more or less entering uncharted territory -- certainly unsupported territory. Try it in your test environment.

  • Songs that are imported manually from cds or flash drives are randomly deleting from my iphone 5. Sometimes I get an error -54 message first. Sometimes not. What could be causing this and how can I fix it?

I have an iPhone 5 16g ios 8.2 and it keeps randomly deleting the songs I manually put on from cds or flash drives. The songs I purchased from iTunes don't delete just the ones I manually add. It has happened three times, once after I added 399 songs, once after I added 27 songs and once when I added 45 songs. Sometimes an error (-54) pops up but not always, it's just in an instant all the songs I put on are suddenly gone. I have uninstalled and reinstalled iTunes three times, reset all the settings on my phone and also restored my phone to factory settings. Nothing has worked. I have a 4th generation iPod and I have never had this problem. Any and all suggestions/help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

    Welcome to Apple Discussions..
My first suggestion is to Repair Disk. Here's how:
Insert Installer disk and Restart, holding down the "C" key.
Go to Installer menu (Panther and earlier) or Utilities menu (Tiger) and launch Disk Utility.
Select your HDD (manufacturer ID) in the left panel.
Select First Aid in the Main panel.
(Check S.M.A.R.T Status of HDD at the bottom of right panel, and report)
Click Repair Disk on the bottom right.
If DU reports disk does not need repairs quit DU and restart.
If DU reports errors Repair again and again until DU reports disk is repaired.
If DU reports errors it cannot repair you will need to use a utility like Tech Tool Pro or Disk Warrior
Please post back and let me know how that goes.

  • Oracle Test Manager - Import of Manual Tests - Fails with ORA-12520:

    Hi,
This issue occurs when we are trying to import manual tests into the Oracle Test Manager.
The import fails when we try to import more than 300 records. The error message in the log
    is as shown below:
    Driver's SQLSetConnectAttr failed
ORA-12520: TNS:listener could not find available handler for requested type of server
    9:50:30:020 - *** DB Exception *** State:S1000,Native:12520,Origin:[Oracle][ODBC][Ora]
    State:IM006,Native:0,Origin:[Microsoft][ODBC Driver Manager]
    State:S1000,Native:12520,Origin:[Oracle][ODBC][Ora]
No one can logon to the application after this.
According to the DBA the application is using up all the processes in the Database and hence it fails.
When we restart the application service, the number of processes in the database goes down
and the application goes back to normal state.
We keep running into this issue when we try to import >=300 manual tests. (This is not an issue
    when runs are imported.)
Anybody else facing this issue? Any ideas as to how this can be resolved?
    Thanks

    Hi,
I had some problems with. So, consider the following:
    Simple XLS file :
    testname     owner     testdescription               Expected Result
test1          wayne     Login into User Homepage     User can view login prompt
View Accout Details          User can see account details
Create simple report          User has access to reports section
Save as pdf               .pdf generate button is available
send email               email button is active
log off                    User can View log off page
So we have four fields, teatname, owner, testdescription and Expected Result.
When we import a test (select Test tab, then project->import data, and select .xls file)
Make sure Select Type is set to Manual Tests
    Map      testname -> TestCase ID
         owner -> Owner
         testdescription -> Test Step Action
Expected Result -> Test step expected result
Make sure Select Type is set to Manual Tests. You should then see one test with all the steps.
    Regards
    Wayne.
    p.s. Thanks Alex!!

  • JAEHYLEE  (R12 AP)  Prepayment Import with manual tax 에러

    Purpose
R12에서는 New feature로 Prepayment TAX를 import할수 있으며 그중 이미 Manual line tax를 가지고 auto tax calc flag를 No로 설정해서 manual로 import를 할수 있습니다.
    Explanation
    Solution
Download and review the readme and pre-requisites for Patch 8524286:R12.AP.A
    2. Ensure that you have taken a backup of your system before applying the recommended patch.
    3. Apply the patch in a test environment.
    4. Confirm the following file versions:
    apetxutb.pls 120.102.12010000.21
You can use the commands like the following:
    strings -a $AP_TOP/admin/sql/apetxutb.pls |grep '$Header'
    5. Retest the issue.
    6. Migrate the solution as appropriate to other environments

  • Importing budget from a template in excel?

What is the best way to import department budget files from Excel into SAP Business One?
    Thank you,
    Mike

    Dear Michael Kennedy,
There are three templates for Budget in DTW : oBudget, oBudgetDistribution, oBudgetScenarios.
You need input the date by DTW format and could refer to SDK DI help for detailed information.

  • ECM - Remove a budget that imported from PCP

    Hi Friends,
I created few budget structures with different type with RHECM_BUDGET_GENERATE, and imported budget from PCP into the budget structures using RHECM_BUDGET_INIT, the budgets has not released yet. I found one of the budgets was not imported incorrectly. Is there a way I can remove or delete the incorrect budget? Or I just need to re-create a budget structure and re-import the budget from PCP?
    Thanks!
    Susan

    Hi,
I think you are not using the budgeting BSP via transaction code PECM_START_BDG_BSP. With that we can easily delete budget units and/or delete the assignment of budget unit to org. unit.
In your case, I think you need to delete OM infotype 1520 for object type BU. You will have the budget unit ID from the first step (RHECM_BUDGET_GENERATE).

  • Not able to import PAL DV Anamorphic (Crash)

    Hi,
I don't seem to be able to import PAL DV Anamorphic (720x576i 16x9 .dv files) footage into a new event... FCP X just crashes when I try to do this.
    Anybody got the same problem?
    Thanks...

I used a Canon MXV40 long ago and captured the footage originally in iMovie 07. Later on I transferred the project into iMovie 11 without transcoding the original dv clips into aic format. It worked fine, though when these imovie project did not transfer well to FCPX.
I tried Jon's solution and rewrapped the original dv files using QT 7, after manually changing resolution to 1024x576. However, after importing manually the mov file into FCPX (and crashing once), the file suprisingly still showed up as 4x3.
Pèpel - I also tried to reconnect several files and searched everywhere for a way to do it. I believe now that it cannot be done.

  • Prevent RCV Txn Processor from calling Payables Open Interface Import

When we create ASBN and run Receiving Transaction Processor, it automatically inserts invoice data into AP_INVOICES_INTERFACE and AP_INVOICE_LINES_INTERFACE then triggers Payables Open Interface Import.
We have tried to set PO: Create ASBN invoices using AP interface tables to No but this creates the invoice via API instead of via the interface. We would still like to use the interface but we need to call Payables Open Interface Import manually.
    How can we do this?
    Thanks in advance.
    Anna Fajardo

That is correct, the documentation does specify not to populate a value into this field, however there is no harm in doing so.
Alternatively, if you are not using the Payables Open Interface Workflow, then you could either populate a value of "Y" or "S" into the WORKFLOW_FLAG column, to prevent the invoices from getting imported.
Or you could just supply a dummy value for the org_id column in the interface table

  • Do I need to manually back up my iphone photos if I have auto downloads already set up in iphoto?

I'm a relatively new iPhone user. I don't take a ton of photos, but the ones I take are important to me. I've been trying to make sure that photos I take with my phone are backed up and in iPhoto. I have a few questions regarding how it all works.
    1) If I take a picture with my iPhone it goes to both my camera roll and my photostream (yes, photostream is on)... is this correct?
    2) My photostream is limited to 1000 photos. These photos exist on the cloud aren't necessarily saved to my computer... is this correct?
    3) I have automatic downloading set up via iPhoto on my MacBook Pro. When I do this ALL photos I take are downloaded by my computer as long as I've connected it to the internet at some point recently... is this corret? If they are downloaded, are they downloaded from my photostream, or are they downloaded as they come in?
    4) If I go over 1000 photos in a month in my photostream, does it save ALL of them to iPhoto or just the 1000 most current? In other words, in iPhoto I see a section labeled, for example, "May 2013 Photostream". If I took 1500 photos during that May timeframe, would they ALL be there or would only the 1000 that constituted my photostream at the time of download be in there?
    5) If a photo is show in iPhoto it is permenantly downloaded to my computer's harddrive... is this correct?
    6) This is the biggest one. If I have auto downloads set up between my iPhone and iPhoto, is there any reason to download photos manually? Everytime I download photos manually it says I have a bunch of duplicates. They all seem to be duplicated in my photo stream, BUT others are not duplicated and seem to download at the time of the manual operation, which makes me think that they autodownloads aren't downloading everything.
    7) Do photos I edit in Snapseed or Instagram get downloaded automatically or do I have to put them somewhere for that to happen?
Sorry for the barrage of questions. This stuff is super confusing if you've never used it before. I just want to be sure I haven't lost anything and don't delete anything.

    Good questions!
SInce you are having Photo Stream, you may want to backup your iPhone to iCLoud. to be on the safe side,  see:  iCloud: Backup and restore overview
    1) If I take a picture with my iPhone it goes to both my camera roll and my photostream (yes, photostream is on)... is this correct?
Yes, photos you take with the iPhone will be stored in the camera roll, and the camera roll will be automatically added to iCLoud and synced to your devices.
    2) My photostream is limited to 1000 photos. These photos exist on the cloud aren't necessarily saved to my computer... is this correct?
My photo stream is limited to max 1000 photos and only the last month of photos.
If you enable automatic import on your mac, these photos will be stored on your mac automatically in monthly events in iPhoto. Or you can import manually, what you are seeing in the My Photo Stream album.
    See:  iCloud: Photo Stream FAQ
    3) I have automatic downloading set up via iPhoto on my MacBook Pro. When I do this ALL photos I take are downloaded by my computer as long as I've connected it to the internet at some point recently... is this corret? If they are downloaded, are they downloaded from my photostream, or are they downloaded as they come in?
All photos currently in iCloud will be visible in the Photo Stream, when it is enabled on your mac, and with automatic import they will be added to the monthly events, as soon as the mac syncs with iCloud.
    4) If I go over 1000 photos in a month in my photostream, does it save ALL of them to iPhoto or just the 1000 most current?
When you reach 1000 photos in My Photo Stream, the oldest photos will automatically deleted, so you should sync your phone before that happens.
    iCloud: Photo Stream limits
In other words, in iPhoto I see a section labeled, for example, "May 2013 Photostream". If I took 1500 photos during that May timeframe, would they ALL be there or would only the 1000 that constituted my photostream at the time of download be in there?
You can sync more than a 1000 photos per month, only make sure, you sync often.
    5) If a photo is show in iPhoto it is permenantly downloaded to my computer's harddrive... is this correct?
It is downloaded permanently, as soon as you are seeing it in an event in iPhoto, not if it is only showing in the "My Photo Stream" album.
One good reason to download manually would be the download speed. It is just quicker, and you are not risking transmission errors. Also, you may have more photos in your camera roll than in the photo stream, because you could have deleted photos from the photo stream. The duplicates should be no problem, if you exclude them from importing.
    7) Do photos I edit in Snapseed or Instagram get downloaded automatically or do I have to put them somewhere for that to happen?
I do not use these apps, so I cannot be sure, but usually you will have to save edited photos back to the camera roll, to be able to sync them, either with Photo Stream or by manual sync.
