Import of sub- directories fails with sunopsis SnpFolder does not exist

I try to import a sub-directory with interfaces and one package from one repository (INT) to another one (DEV) with the option Insert or Insert_Update. Both import mode fails with the same error.
The error message
I do not want to impont in duplicate mode because in that case the datastore reference in the interface is void. I checked topology and nothing seems wrong to me.
Have you got any idea what is wrong? thans in advance for your replies

Hi,
Yes, you need to change your master repository ID.
When you install ODI, you need to have a unique ID for each repository no matter whether it is a Work Repository or Master Repository. Reason is, ODI creates every object with a uniue sequence number and the last three digits of this objects will be the repository ID.
FOr example,
you created a dataserver for the first time, its ID will be 1000 (if master rep ID is 0), second one will be 2000 and so on...
similalry, in Designer, the very first interface is going to have 1001(work rep id is 1), then 2001 and so on...
When we migrate from one environment to another environment, there is possibility of overwriting existing objects which corrupts repository.

Error on Undeploy: Application with name "crazy" does not exist.
I am working with Jdeveloper Studio Edition Version 11.1.1.6.0 Build JDEVADF_11.1.1.6.0_GENERIC_111205.1733.6192.
I have applications that run fine, however when I click on the undeploy, I get the error below. Please keep in mind that this is a simple sample application -- no security. Just one form with reading an HR schema table. Just a sample to try and figure out why I am getting this error. Any ideas?
1. I have deleted the system folder (repeatedly)
2. I deleted out my entire C:\Users\stuart\AppData\Local\Temp directory (someone mentioned this in another post)
3. Reinstalled Jdeveloper.

Thank you for your answer. I had not checked (will do so tonight).
I had considered it adequate to wipe out the entire system directory (thereby wiping out the integrated weblogic server), but perhaps it was not adequate? I did not specify that this is on the integrated server, but that is the case....

We have deployed the SRM-MDM Catalog Search UI in Portal.
We tried accessing the http://<Portal Host>:<Portal Port>/SRM-MDM/SRM_MDM
Then we got a screen (Search UI App screen), where in we have provided the MDM Server name, then the MDM Server Password, then presses the Connect button, then below this, it displayed the Repository name created in the MDM. We have selected the Repository, then provided the Credentials of a User (Name: T_CORP) in MDM which has "Catalog Manager", and the "UI Configuration Manager" Roles. Please note that these Role names were created by us in MDM. Is it the right procedure or do we have any standard Roles delivered by SAP in MDM to map? If any standard Roles are available, where we need to check these.
Once the Credentials of MDM User is provided, and then selected the "Login" button.
Then we are getting the below error.

Please clarify; we are not configuring any values in iViews. Where we need to do this, I mean name of the iView, and what values do we need provide generally? We are just running the Search UI App application; I don't think it is an iView, because the URL shows the Application name details, etc...

One of my customers (using ssas 2012) is facing collation issues which result in missing facts in the cubes. I suggested them to have a look at the Analysis Server Properties. Howevere, on selection of the Analysis Services Properties page 'Language-Collation',
it doesn't open the page showing the properties, but instead the following message pops up:
'ServerProperty' with 'Name' = 'Language' does not exist in the collection
Any ideas on what could have caused this and how it can be fixed ?
We're considereing a restart of the SSAS server, but need to be very carefull because it's their production environment.

I suspect this is causing some other strange behavior such as an "invalid characters in hierarchy names" error when deploying an SSAS database, when the same solution/project can be deployed successfully from other machines. In that case, there are parenthesis
in the attribute name but no user-defined hierarchies. Error:
Errors in the metadata manager. The name, 'Project ID (Description)', for the cube hierarchy is not valid because this name is a reserved word, contains one or more invalid characters (.,;'`:/\*|?"&%$!+=()[]{}<>), or is longer than 100 characters.
I would like to avoid having to re-install SSAS if at all possible. Any help is much appreciated.

11g JPS-04028 error - Application with name "abc" does not exist
Hi,
We are migration one our app from 10g OC4J to weblogic 11g server. This app is running fine in 10g OC4J but getting the below exception in 11g. Pls help us in resolving this in identifying and resolving the same.
I found info here, but wasn't help full to understand.

I am doing a request based provisioning task.When I request for a resource the approvers are able to approve the request but the user is not created.

Hi Experts,
I am writing a Java code which upload rpt report to an infoview and try to set username/password and user prompt false together.
I uploaded rpt success, however, after I add IReportLogon to add user/password. I got an error.

when i moved crystal reprts from our Crystal server to the new BOBJ (BOExi3.1) Server and on DB configuration for all the reports i used the DB defaults that comes with the Report.
Problem when i try to run locally or run from the enterprise login it works perfect, but when i try to run the report from the Infoview it says Database Information is either Incorrect or Incomplete.
and also when i goto report and change the DB configuration it throws this error as
"The property with ID SI_DELTA_METAINFO does not exist in the object".
Please throw some light on the above error as i need to make it available for our end-users ASAP.

We are accessing the BO reports through front End web application using WEBI. We are using BO Java SDK on the application for this purpose.
Some of our users (APAC region) has started getting the error while accessing the reports from web application. Here are the error:

Ashokwhat version of Enterprise is this? XI 3.1, Bi 4.0? Also what version pack are you running. I am asusming that APJ and EMEA\AMER users try to hit the same web\app server\ BOE, same application and access same reports. What kind of authentication you use? Given everything else is same it's got to be security issue? Does APJ users are part of a different group in your 3rd party auth server such as LDAP or AD?

Software component with Key ID does not exist

Here I am in need of your help. I got involved in an upgrade from XI 3.0 to PI 7.1. The Basis has imported all the SWC & Business systems from XI 3.0. When I am trying to activate the objects imported from IR of XI3.0 then It is triggering an error as
data retrieving failed from Adapter Metadata | RFC http://sap.com/xi/XI/System. /// ROA_MOA_NOTCOMPLETED.
Because of this I am unable to activate the imported objects in ID by showing the message as Software component with key ID XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX does not exist.
when I went there to ESR then under a software component I found a message under underlying components like " XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX not exist" but I am not aware of the object related to that Key ID.
Please help me out in this . Thanking you in Advance.

I got the alternative solution for my problem. All credit goes to you. I recreated the communication channels instead of using the same ones after Upgrad. Any way we need to change the communication channels after importing the channels but the system is giving the above error message as "Adapter Software component with Key ID XXXXXXXX...... does not exist".
But its allowing me to create a new channel. Then based on the neetesh suggestion, I went through and create the new comm channels instead of wasting so much time on the same issue.

Copy response to FTP Device failing - ERROR: E_NOENT - File Does Not Exist
I have a asset subscription that encodes and delivers to a FTP server when a checkbox is ticked in an asset's metadata.
Whilst the clip is transcoded and delivered, the copy response reports a failure with the message: 'ERROR: E_NOENT - File Does Not Exist: <filename>.<eextension>' referring to the transcoded file
The subscription has 3 responses, A WMV, a FLV and a JPG compression, all of which work if I export the asset manually.
It doesn't matter which response I put first in the Subscription as they all report the error and stop the other 2 responses.
I have had a search through the previous discussions, but couldn't find any answers.
I am running a fresh install of OSX Server 10.5.5 with just Final Cut Server installed, and everything is up to date (Pro Apps and FCSvr, Java etc).
The only other apps installed are:
Fibrejet 2.7.3
Flip4Mac WMV Studio Pro HD 2.2.1.11
Adobe CS3 Flash Video EncoderI am having a similar issue. All I am trying at the moment is a nuts and bolts copy to an FTP device. I have checked and rechecked remote directories, permissions, and login info. My copy response will transcode to a web-friendly quicktime, then fails trying to copy, saying the file doesn't exist.
I think I am missing a fundamental part of the process but reading through the manuals hasn't turned up solutions.
