Import of technical objects (connecion object, premise, pod)

Hello together,
I would like to import technical objects in SAP CRM for Utilities. We are using version 7.0 with EHP 1. In SAP CRM 7.0 wtih EHP 1 the report ECRM_ISU_IMPORT_TECHOBJ exists to import technical objects.
I tried to use this report but couldn't create technical objects with it. After I had completed the excel form and pushed the button to import technical objects I got the notification, that all objects have been created successfully. But neither in Webclient UI nor in the applicable tables the technical objects can be found.
Interestingly, this report also exists in SAP CRM 7.0 without EHP 1. When I use it there the technical objects will be created properly. With the same data I used to complete the excel sheet in SAP CRM with EHP 1.
Also debugging showed no abnormalities.
Does anybody have an idea or suggestion to solve this issue? If some documentation should be on this, it would be even helpful. Unfortunately I could not find any.
Thanks in advance!
Sebastian

Hi,
Ok, so we can say 0TCTUSERNM is consistent in D/Q/P systems - that means you don't need to transport it. So I think the best approach is remove it from your request so it will not impact current P system.
Please go to SE09 of your DEV system, create a new workbench request. Put your cursor on the new request and choose menu 'Request/task' -> Object List -> Include Objects... and input your original request number.
Now you should be able to see all objects have been added to the new request. Find out 0TCTUSERNM and remove it from the request.
Transport the request again to Q and P system. There might be errors on Q system but I think it will not impact P system.
Regards,
Frank

How do I import a 3D object I created in Photoshop CC into AE CC? I thought if I created a picture or video with one Creative Cloud product I should be able to work with it in another CC product.

It's not possible. this functionality existed once in CS4 and CS5, but has ever since been removed because it was buggy and had a ton of technical issues. Your best bet would be to export the object from PS as an OBJ and import it into C4D Lite via Cineware.

  • Replication of technical Object. Error in ecrmrepl

    Hello together,
i want to replicate an Connection Object and  POD from CRM 7.0 to IS-U . As mentioned in the Setup and Load Guide (SLG) i created the master data templates from the type CRMCONNOBJ_ALONE and CRM_POD_INST.
Both of the master data templates are running without an error in the testmode. The data are created.
When I try to create a Connection Object and a POD in the CRM WebUI I can see the BDOCs from the type SI_POD and SI_CONNOBJ are in the green state.
When I call up the transaction ecrmrepl I m getting the following error:
Error in the receiving inspection at creating of the object Premise (Verbrauchsstelle)
"Fehler bei der Eingabeprüfung beim Anlegen des Objekts Verbauchsstelle)
    Fill out a Connection Object
    "Geben Sie ein Anschlussobjekt ein"
The error occours in the master data from the master data template CRM_POD_INST.
In the transaction ecrmrepl I can see the transmitted data. In the field EUI_TPLNR there is a number of the connection object.
This connection object is created. I m using transaction ES57 to call it up checking the data.
The message Fill out a connection object is confusing me, cause in the ecrmrepl i can see the number of the connection object.
If you have an Idea whats going wrong, just tell it.
    Thank you very much..

  • Extracting Technical Object List on Contract Items (View VISER02)

    Hi,
We have build a simple extractor to get a full load of the VISER02 view into BI.
However this does not give us the set of objects which have been deleted by the users from the technical object list on the contract items.
We have looked at following options:
    1. preventing users from removing equipments from the object list using SAP ERP user-exit.  It was put in place, then rejected by the business
    2. flagging the SER02 underlying table for changes, and then develop a custom extractor on the change log tables.  Sounds over complex.
    3. extracting VISER02 in full into a DSO into BI, then using a second DSO and with some mechanism identifying and flagging the equipments that disappeared. Not nice to do this in BI.
    4. using an SAP ERP user-exit, saving the equipments removed from the object list to a custom table in SAP ERP, then extracting that table in delta mode.
    Any more thought?
    Thanks!!

I found the problem  This issue was caused by a condition within get_content method whereby all non hex input should have import param 'RAW' given, despite the difference in the objecttype being retrieved from the previousl class method cl_fitv_gos=>get_links.
    So no need to reply.
    Thanks,
    Kevin

  • Copy from VBRP to technical object Serial Number in Sales Order

    Hi SAP colleagues,
I need some help in the following issue. Hopefully somebody can assist. In a F2 invoice in the field VBRP-CHARG, the serial number of the product is available. In the business of my client, many return orders exist (KR, RE, etc.). The return order is created while referencing to the billing document. At this moment SAP users (transaction VA01) must fill in the serial number manually via Extra -> Technical Objects. Regularly people forget to do this or use an incorrect serial number. This leads to all kind of problems further on in the process.
The question is: how can this process be automatized? So the serial number which is available in VBRP-CHARG, should be copied automatically into the return order in the technical object area in the field SERNR.
Who knows how to solve this technically in SAP?
    Best regards,
    Paul

    Hi Karan,
First of all thanks a lot for your answer. Unfortunately it is more complex... The batch number which is available in VBRP-CHARG should be copied into the Technical Object area in the sales order. Menu path: Extra -> Technical Objects. So this is equipment functionality related to sales orders. So copying using copy control from VBRP to VBAP or VBAK will not solve the problem. Do you have any idee how this can be achieved (tables like SER02, OBJK are relevant)?
    Best regards,
    Paul

    Venkat,
You can download them from http://service.sap.com/download
    For 4.6c follow
    Download
       Support Packages and Patches
         Entry by Application Group
    Select <b>Support Packages and Patches -> SAP Application Components -> SAP R/3 -> SAP R/3 4.6C -> Entry by Component</b>
    Mainly You need <b>SAP ABA 4.6C</b> and <b>SAP BASIS 4.6C</b> and <b>SAP APPL 4.6C</b>
The most latest one is Support Package 50. What you can do is after applying half of them you can try to logon from XI system for import of RFC/IDoc.

  • Import of RFC objects from R/3 into XI repository

    Hi All
I am trying to import RFC (Function module) from R/3 ECC6.0 into XI repository using Import of SAP objects icon. And when the username and password of my R/3 is given, it shows an error invalid username and password. But my R/3 login is working with the same uname and password. I have done partner profile, port and RFC destination settings in both R/3 and XI system. But everytime I am getting the same error in XI when importing SAP objects. Any ideas is appreciated.
    Thanks
    Anand

If XI is installed on Windows you can find this file in
    %WINDIR%\system32\drivers\etc\services file,
In Unix this is in /etc/ with the name services
The entry you should  see for  example <b>sapgw<xx>                33<xx>/tcp</b>
where xx is sap gateway no.

  • Unable to Import the ID objects in PI 7.0

    Hi,
I have installed a new PI 7.0 server which is on local SLD. I also have old PI 7.0 in which all the scenarios are configured.
I am trying to import the scenarios from the old PI 7.0 to new PI 7.0.
Both the servers are on local SLD and on different transport domains.
I tried simple file transfer. I was successful.
But when i am trying to import the ID objects which have got reference to SLD i am getting the error as below.
Import failed because of business system transfer of object Service | ECC_XI: Obligatory transport target for business system ECC_XI not found in System Landscape Directory
Import failed because of business system transfer of
object Service  | ECC_XI: Obligatory transport target

    Directory (BS_MAPPING_FAILED_OBJ)
Obligatory transport target for business system ECC_XI
not found in System Landscape Directory (BS_TARGET_NOT_FOUND)
Business system P70 is not assigned to a business system
group with the ID (XISystemGroup) (BS_GROUP_LOAD_BY_BS_PROC_EX)
I have also imported the SLD contents related to the scenario.
P70 is the SID of my new PI 7.0 and BWS is the SID of my old PI 7.0.
ECC_XI is the business system which is referenced in the scenario.
    Please suggest.
    Thanks
    Raghu.

Dear all, I've the same error from the first post. If I try to import my XI 3.0 content to PI 7.3 the Integration Builder means:
Receiver Agreement | XY | SYSTEM | ABC : Obligatory transport target for business system SystemP not found in System Landscape Directory
Why this is oblicatory? I've two PI with local SLD in bidirectional sync. There also all business systemes have been created. There are last but not least two groups DEV and PROD. The development systems and the DEV PI is asigned to group DEV and the productional systems and the PROD PI is assigned to group PROD.
Then I've assigned the the PROD Group with transport target to the DEV System and for the business systems I can see the correct mapping. In the DEV systems the transport group and system as targed is assigned. And in the PROD systems I can see the DEV Systems as Source System.
I dont need target systems for PROD systems and I don't have target systems; but why I need now a target system for a productional system by PI import to the IB?

  • Check on Technical Objects when saving VA41/VA42 (Enhancement for SD)

    Hi All,
I need to check whether a particular Equipment/Tech Object is already linked to any other existing Sales Document based on Sales Doc Type while saving. If so i need to raise an error and stop the VA41/VA42 Save.
I tried USER EXIT SAVE DOCUMENT PREPARE under SAPMV45A but i cant access the Tech Objects attached which is under SAPLIWOL.
Kindly advise me how to access Tech Objects data from SAPMV45A under SAVE DOCUMENT PREPARE or any better option is there.
    Thanks,
    Saleem BEC

Instead of validating technical object, you can try to validate the technical field name which would be very much available in the user exit.

  • Urgent - BDC program to update technical objects using transaction VA42

    Hi,
Currently my program updates technical objects details at item level as well as BOM header level.
But my client insists on updating at contract level i.e when u go to va42 transaction and without selecting any item, we need to go to menu, technical objects where the client  wants all the items to be displayed.
How to do this way?, is it possible, please advise on this regard.
    Very urgent!
    Thanks in advance
    Anandh.B

I went into va42 and tried to extras->technical objects but it saying to select the item. Without selecting any item it is not going into technical objects.
You can only do BDC if is possible manually, since its not possible you cannot do BDC for that.
    Cheers,
    Satya

  • Import-CMDriver fails with "Import-CMDriver : Invalid object path "

I am attempting to use Import-CMDriver but it fails with:
    "Import-CMDriver : Invalid object path "
I can see that it is adding the driver to the catalog, but it is failing to add it to the package and I can't figure out why.  I have tried with different inf files and deleted and created different packages.  It just doesn't work.  Here is
the command that I am running.  I don't see any reason why it wouldn't work.
     Set-Location abc:
        foreach($iniFile in $infFilesToDeploy){
            $cmDrivePackage = Get-CMDriverPackage -Name "PackageName"
            $cmDriverCat = Get-CMCategory -CategoryType "DriverCategories" -Name "PackageName"
            $cmDrivePackage
            $iniFile
            Import-CMDriver -UncFileLocation $iniFile -ImportDuplicateDriverOption AppendCategory -AdministrativeCategory $cmDriverCat -EnableAndAllowInstall $True -DriverPackage $cmDrivePackage -UpdateDistributionPointsforDriverPackage $false
As I said, it is seeing the ini file since it it importing it into the catalog.  It just won't add it to the package.  It also leaves the package in a locked state if I try to modify it after I run this command.
Anyone have any ideas why this command doesn't function?
    Thank you for your time.

    Hi,
What's the version of your SCCM? I ran this command "Import-CMDriver -UncFileLocation... " on my SCCM 2012 R2 CU1. I didn't get the error above.
I also tried the command below, it ran successful.
     $d=Get-CMDriverPackage -Id "..."
     Import-CMDriver -UncFileLocation "\\..." -DriverPackage $d -EnableAndAllowInstall $true
