Import one old Partition

Hi.
System: Solaris 9
DB.: Oracle 9i
My table had five partitions (PR1006_CDRCSGCONTPROV
PR1106_CDRCSGCONTPROV,PR1206_CDRCSGCONTPROV,PR0107_CDRCSGCONTPROV,PR0207_CDRCSGCONTPROV)
I exported PR1006_CDRCSGCONTPROV, but there wasn't rows.
Export parameters used

After I droped that partition (PR1006_CDRCSGCONTPROV).
I don't have log this process, but I'm surry there isn't this partition
Now, I'd like to import that partition (PR1006_CDRCSGCONTPROV).

Could you help me?
Thank's a lot

Hi.
Thank's your reply.
The table IMS.CDR_CSG_CONT_PROV has 5 partition:
PR1106_CDRCSGCONTPROV ==== HIGH_VALUE = 01/12/2006
PR1206_CDRCSGCONTPROV ==== HIGH_VALUE = 01/01/2007
PR0107_CDRCSGCONTPROV ==== HIGH_VALUE = 01/02/2007
PR0207_CDRCSGCONTPROV ==== HIGH_VALUE = 01/03/2007
PR0307_CDRCSGCONTPROV ==== HIGH_VALUE = 01/04/2007
When I tried to create a partition PR1006 (HIGH_VALUE = 01/11/2006), oracle didn't let me create old partition.
Command executed
ALTER TABLE IMS.CDR_CSG_CONT_PROV ADD PARTITION PR1006_CDRCSGCONTPROV VALUES LESS THAN (to_date('01-11-2006','DD-MM-YYYY')) TABLESPACE TSD_IMS_CDR_PARTITION04;

Thank's again.

I have an old project with AVCHD clips and I want to import the clips again with surround sound. How can I relink the project clips to the re-imported ones without doing the project from the begining?
I have a sony handicam and I imported the clips to iMovie and they lost quality and converted the audio to stereo. I want to import the project to final cut X and import the AVCHD in 1080p and surround sound and export the movie in bluray. Can I relink the clips without editing everything again?
    thanks!

Only photos taken with the iPad, copied onto it via the camera connection kit, or saved from emails/websites etc can be deleted directly on the iPad - either via the trashcan icon in the top right corner if viewing the photo in full screen, or via the icon of the box with the arrow coming out of it in thumbnail view.
Photos that were synced from a computer are deleted by moving/removing/de-selecting them from where they were synced from and then re-syncing. If you want to remove them all then normally you could just sync an empty folder (in terms of photos) to the iPad, but as you don't want to sync at the moment you can't do that.
You can reset the iPad back to factory settings and start from scratch with it : Settings > General > Reset > Erase All Content And Settings

  • Firefox will not import my old bookmarks, and does not make new ones.

I have recently installed windows 7 and then offcourse Firefox. I have been using Mozilla for more than 16 years. But now I am thinking of switching.
I cannot import my old bookmarks, there is not troubleshooting information, nothing happenes.
When I am making a new bookmark, it does only appear in the recently box, but not in the new sections I try to make.

Are you trying to import your bookmarks from a JSON file or an HTML file? Try opening this file with Notepad and make sure it actually contains bookmarks.
If the file is valid and is not importing, the problem may be that your bookmarks file is locked or corrupted. To fix this problem, follow the steps at [http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Bookmarks+not+saved#Places_database_file]

  • How can I import my old iPhoto library into my new version of iPhoto?

Just purchased new iMac and am trying to import my old iPhoto library, but keep getting Unreadable Files message. I have the library file and see that it shows up as an iPhoto Library under the Kind column.

Now that you're tried to open the correct library once see if you can perfor the following:  apply the two fixes below in order as needed:
    Fix #1
Launch iPhoto with the Command+Option keys held down and rebuild the library.
Since only one option can be run at a time start with Option #3, followed by #4 and then #1 as needed.
    Fix #2
Using iPhoto Library Manager  to Rebuild Your iPhoto Library
1 - download iPhoto Library Manager and launch.
2 - click on the Add Library button, navigate to your Home/Pictures folder and select your iPhoto Library folder.
3 - Now that the library is listed in the left hand pane of iPLM, click on your library and go to the File ➙ Rebuild Library menu option.
4 - In the next  window name the new library and select the location you want it to be placed.
5 - Click on the Create button.
Note: This creates a new library based on the LIbraryData.xml file in the library and will recover Events, Albums, keywords, titles and comments.  However, books, calendars, cards and slideshows will be lost. The original library will be left untouched for further attempts at fixing the problem or in case the rebuilt library is not satisfactory.

  • How do I import an old iphoto library from an external hard disk while keeping my editing and organization in tact?

I am running iPhoto '08 on a MacBook Pro 2.2 GHz Intel C2D (MacBook Pro 3,1). I backed up my hard drive contents onto an external hard drive, then formatted my computer and installed Mountain Lion. I then re-installed iPhoto '08 and ran all the updates. Now, I would like to import my old library from the external disk onto my computer without losing my editing and organization; however, when I select "import to library" from iPhoto, the old iPhoto library is not a selectable option.
I know how to "show package contents" and import directly from the Original and Modified folders, but I don't want to lose my organization. Can I simply drag the content of those folders into my new Original and Modified folders? Will iPhoto read that correctly?
I tried to open the old library from the external disk, thinking to export them all to a folder and import from there, but that just opened my new library and none of the old photos were imported or available.
I'm running out of ideas and would appreciate any help you guys can give. Thanks!!

    You don't import it.
Just drag the iphoto Library from the external to the Pictures Folder.
    Then open it:
Hold down the option (or alt) key key and launch iPhoto. From the resulting menu select 'Choose Library'
Never import one Library to another. Every version and thumbnail is imported like a distinct photo, you lose all your Albums, Keywords etc., the link between Original and Previews is destroyed, the non-destructive editing feature is ruined and so on. In summary: it's mess.

  • Found iCal events in Time Machine.  Now Lion only allowing me to import one event at a time.

Upgrade my macbook pro over the weekend to Snow Leopard and then Lion.   I lost all my the majority of my iCal events.   Went to Apple store and they said that was rare and not sure how to restore my last back up from Time Machine on an external drive.   I've been spending hours trying to go through a bunch of threads on different MAC formums.
So I finally found my iCal events in Time Machine.   When I try to import these events, I am only allowed to highlight/import one event at a time.   This will take me forever to import years of missing data.   I basically have been using my iCal to journal for my 3 small daughters - first tooth, hair cut, etc.   So I am desperate to get these events back so I can get them printed and SAFE.
Does anyone have any suggestions on how to import my ics files?   The Apple Store Genius had me tryng to import the corestorage.ics files.   2 or 3 of those files showed they were trying to be imported for over 4 hours.   I finally Forced Quit iCal.   I've tried this several times and same result.
The corestorage files were under user/library/application support/ical/sources
I now located the calendar events user/library/calendars/ then a bunch of coded files leading to the events.  These events appear to be the ones I am looking for as I can read some of the files.   I have several years I want to import back into my working iCal.
Please help if you know how!!!
    Thank you,
Very Upset Mama of 3 little girls

Thomas - You are awesome - THANK YOU!
I did exactly what you said (CAN"T believe an Apple Genius did not know this) and I think all of my events got restored.
However, it duplicated all of the calendars - I have 6 (one for each family member plus an extra called home that we all have to do).   Not sure if I did something wrong, but do you have any ideas?
Also, the time setting must be wrong b/c I have events from 2008 showing up in 2012 - same day and time as the old sessoin - just out dated.    Do I need to manually change all of this?   Should I delete the Calendars folder again and try again?
Also, I read some where about deleting a iCal cache file.   Do I need to do this?
I TRULY appreciate you taking the time to help people in this forum.   I have spent hours the past two days trying to figure this out.   Plus, now I need to figure out about upgrading my Office for Mac b/c I didn't realize I lost Office 2004 when upgrading to Lion.
Thank you for your time and support!

  • Using TM to reformat one (FAT32) partition on external HD

    Hi all,
I'm wondering what others' experiences have been using TM's reformat feature on only one partition in a drive. In my case, I have a 400GB Seagate external HD that has been partitioned to one half HFS+ and one half FAT32. Now that my data analysis programs have all come out with mac support, I have finally said goodbye to the ole Windoze machine (yey!!). However I am still left with a hard drive that has been partially made compatible for my old PC.
Right now, all music/docs/files/etc are stored on the FAT32 side of the drive, for the practical reason of TM needing HFS+. By default, the HFS+ side of the drive is then set up to be my TM location. Both my iBook and MBP see these as two separate HD's, and can read/write both.
What I am trying to get to as an outcome is having 1/2 of the hard drive partitioned for all my music, documents, large files, etc. Another 1/2 should be exclusively TM backups. Although TM gives me the alluring option of just reformatting one half of this drive so that both separate partitions are HFS+, I just get goosebumps thinking of all the things that could go wrong. And while I have begun the process of backing up files (slowly) to A-drive, I don't want to lose those files just yet. So here are the questions:
    1. Has anyone ever been so brave as to reformat only one half of their hard drive (or one particular partition) with TM? Keep in mind my Mac sees it as two separate HD's.
    2. Any advice on whether I should simply keep all 70GB of my music/documents/pictures/etc on the FAT32 drive and leave the configuration as it is? I have heard rumors it's a little more unstable, but on the other hand it would be accessible from multiple operating sys if anything went wrong. I do access this regularly for iTunes, and plan to do so over an Airport Extreme/usb hub set up permanently. I have little to no need for windows compatibility, but I'm also lazy and want to have as simple of a set-up as possible. And, knock on wood, I got a Seagate specifically because of the long term stability. Am I flirting with disaster?
    3. I am repeatedly getting the error that I am not able to delete folders from the FAT32 side (My Music, My Photos, etc) because "You do not have sufficient privileges". Any ideas on how to get around that?
I know the best option would be to backup everything by network/another external HD, and that is the long-term idea, but for now just wondering if FAT32 can be my permanent data access solution without any serious looming problems.
Any advice on better sites than A-drive (www.adrive.com) for permanent, relatively inexpensive cloud storage would be much appreciated as well.
Thanks for taking the time, appreciate any advice here.

    Ok, I finally understand.

I have a separate TM drive for the Intel Mac, so I'm focusing on having an Apple partition map for my iBook backups. Right now I have a successful partition to use for TM (let's call it TM DRIVE). And another for music, docs, etc (FILES DRIVE). FILES DRIVE is currently FAT32 formatted. I haven't had any problems with it, but I'm trying to figure out:
    a. If it's even necessary to reformat this to Apple partition if I'm not using it for TM (ie: what are the possible scenarios that would necessitate avoiding FAT32 for this?).
Not necessary but I would recommend it. FAT32 has several limitations. For example, TM can not back it, up. the file size is limited. unix permissions don't work on it. if a file is locked you can't delete it from OS X and have to boot from windows to do it. Much better to use HFS+ if you are not going to use the drive with windows.
    b. If I do want to reformat just the FAT32 partition, is it likely/probable that I would erase the info on the other partition if I did so?
No. It's quite safe to do so using disk utility. this has nothing to do with TM which threw me off.
just select the FAT partition in disk utility and reformat it to HFS+ using the "erase" tab. this will of course erase everything currently on the FAT partition but will not affect the TM partition in any way. as i said, the operation is quite safe.
Sounds like you're saying Disk Utility would be better suited for it, wondering if I should crosspost there? Either way, I wonder if I can just reformat one partition safely?
    Thanks!

  • SSAS 2008, Process Old partition

    Hi Experts ,
I need an advice and suggestion.
I am working on SSAS 2008, I have One Fact Table "Fact_sales".
I have done yearly partion, I.e
    FAct_Sales_2010
    FAct_Sales_2011
    FAct_Sales_2012
    FAct_Sales_2013
Every Year I create One Partition.
Now in Year 2014 I added One More column i.e "Dept_key" in Fact Table and create FK PK relation with Dept_Dimension
This Year I created partion again i.e FAct_Sales_2014 which have Dept_key in Select Statement of Partition Query.
I do process Full , and my cube fails,Stating Dept_Key not found
I need to know ,if new columns are added in Fact Table ,
Is it require to Update or Recreate Old partition ??

If you have created the partitions by Query Binding you should add Dept_key in query for each partition. After all perform full processing measure group.
    Best regards.

  • How to import the old project to new project in P6

Hi new guy here.Sorry if this thing have been posted before.I am kinda new here.
I just wonder if can I import an old project to new project in P6?
I have already finished with the project, but then as something happened I need to make it as a new project. So how can I used all the information I have on the old project to be transfer to the new one?
If can how?I need to change certain things like date, resource, etc.
    Thanks

    hello.
there are other more elaborate (and depending on size and scope of modifications, possibly useful) options including Methodology Management, but to keep it simple, try the following:
if you have an initial baseline of the existing project, restore it and go from there. let me know if you need help on that.
if not, copy-paste the existing project and manually adjust the newly created one. you can use "global changes" and/or "fill down" (see help and/or available related posts for this) to clear progress data such as actual resource/ expense units and costs, then activity start dates (in this order).
make sure you baseline your projects before you start imputting actual data.
    good luck.

  • I am attempting to transfer my library from one old laptop to a new one.

Hi there. I am attempting to transfer my library from one old laptop to a new one. I have followed the advice about exporting and importing the xml file but all the playlists are empty?
All my data is stored on an external hard drive which I had hoped would make the process easier. Just thought I wouldn't have to re-build all my playlists in the new library...

These are two possible approaches that will normally work to move an existing library to a new computer.
    Method 1
Backup the library with this User Tip.
Deauthorize the old computer if you no longer want to access protected content on it.
Restore the backup to your new computer using the same tool used to back it up.
Keep your backup up-to-date in future.
    Method 2
Connect the two computers to the same network. Share your <User's Music> folder from the old computer and copy the entire iTunes library folder into the <User's Music> folder on the new one. Again, deauthorize the old computer if no longer required.
Both methods should give the new computer a working clone of the library that was on the old one. As far as iTunes is concerned this is still the "home" library for your devices so you shouldn't have any issues with iTunes wanting to erase and reload.
I'd recommend method 1 since it establishes an ongoing backup for your library.
Note if you have iOS devices and haven't moved your contacts and calendar items across then you should create one dummy entry of each in your new profile and iTunes should  merge the existing data from the device.
If your media folder has been split out from the main iTunes folder you may need to do some preparatory work to make it easier to move. See make a split library portable.
Should you be in the unfortunate position where you are no longer able to access your original library or a backup then then see Recover your iTunes library from your iPod or iOS device for advice on how to set up your devices with a new library with the maximum preservation of data.

  • ITunes freezes after importing one cd and alters normal computer function

After I import one CD, my computer will not recognize any other cds I insert and itunes freezes. After I force itunes to quit, my computer continues to "act up" and will not retrieve any webpage information from the internet. If I try to restart itunes it fails to open and does not give me any sort of error message. I have to reboot my computer to resume normal function.
I did the remove and reinstall of Quicktime recommended in other discussions since those problems seemed similar to mine. However, it didn't do the trick.
I am running McAfee, not Norton.
    Thanks for any suggestions.
      Windows XP

Also having issues with similar problem. Also cannot burn CD's with new music purchased, however, old music works perfectly. I noticed that after purchase, there is also a return on the account purchasing FROM. DOn't know if this means that the music is no longer licensed, as it would seem that it is unpaid for at this time. Are you able to assist? This would be easier by phone, but no phone support available.

Use XSU to store in multiple tables.
"XSU can only store data in a single table. You can store XML across tables, however, by using the Oracle XSLT processor to transform a document into multiple documents and inserting them separately. You can also define views over multiple tables and perform insertions into the views. If a view is non-updatable (because of complex joins), then you can use INSTEAD OF triggers over the views to perform the inserts."

  • How do I import one iPhoto library into another?

I have one iPhoto library on my iMac--family photos--and just imported another one from a Mac Mini, which I've called iPhoto (hiking), as it is photos of our hiking trip. I'd like to import everything from the latter into the former, then delete the latter. I tried just dragging the latter in, but instead of merging, it replaced the former. I've fixed that, thanks to Time Machine, but now need to merge my libraries. Any ideas?
    Thanks

Well I'm not sure what you did but no one else has managed to ever import one Library to another without causing a mess as described above - in fact as you describe yourself:
It imported the photos and the thumbnails. All I had to do was delete any duplicates and orginize it.
You also lost any keywords, albums, Faces and Places along the wy. Merging two libraries will not import any thumbnails, there will be no duplicates and you'll have no organising to do.

You don't. Apps are permanently tied to the ID used to purchase them. Instead of creating a new ID, change the primary email address on your existing ID.
