Import pictures, movies/videos, and lyrics?

how can I do all these??? any other software I have to download? or.. just use itunes? @@, thanks~

you can do everything you need to do using itunes. when you plug your ipod into your computer, an 'overview' screen comes up in itunes, with several different tabs.
photos - under the photos tab you can tell itunes which photo folder you want it to sync to your ipod. for most people it's easier to create a specific 'ipod photos' folder - where you put copies of any photos you want on it, then if you want to add/remove you just add/remove from that folder and next time you sync it will be automatic.
movies/videos - they need to be in your itunes library, add them like you add music, then go to the appropriate tab on the overview screen and tick all the boxes
lyrics - slightly different. you need to right click a track, go to 'get info', then go to the lyrics tab. you can then copy and paste the lyrics into the box provided. to access these on the ipod, when a track is playing, tap the screen.
it's all in the manual, have you read that? http://support.apple.com/manuals/

How can you import QuickTime (.mov) videos and which settings for the sequence?
Please reply in plain English or if possible in German
    Greetings from Vienna, Peter

    I have not installed Quicktime.
I got a few scenes (.mov) from a Canon Eos 70d.
I want to create a short film (in Premiere CS4) with these scenes, mixed with photos and MP3 music.

    How can I do this?

You could use iMovie if you own it. Look here for an example...

  • Why when someone sends me a picture or video and i reply to it my reply goes to everyone the picture or video originally when too.?

Why when someone sends me a picture or video and i reply to it, my reply goes to everybody that originally was sent the picture.

This is because group messaging is turned on. This means that when you send a text to multiple people they can see who it was sent to. Any response from any of those people will be to sent everybody on the text sorta like CC on an email.  To change this go to Settings>Messages>Group Messaging. If you turn it off you WILL be able to send groups messages but the people you send it to won't see who you sent it to sorta like BCC on email.

I have a white iPhone 4S. For some reason I cannot send media (picture, video, etc.) with one of my contacts. I'll send a picture or video and it will go through, say delivered underneath the picture, then 30 seconds later it will say not delivered and I have to send it as a text message. Why is this happening!? It happens connected to wifi and not connected to wifi.
I appreciate the help, thank you!

If it says "Delivered" under it to begin with, then you're not sending it as an MMS, you're sending it as an iMessage. It's entirely possible the problem is on the receiving end.

  • How can i move video and music and narration all at once in the project library

how can i move video, narration and music all at once in the project library  it is only moving the video

Select the directory with your pngs in it.
    Right-click>Browse with Adobe Bridge
    Select your pngs
Tools>Photoshop>Load to photoshop layers (not sure how many layers this can handle--you may wind up having to do this in batches)
    Save your new psd
In Flash, create a new symbol with a blank timeline
Ctrl-R, navigate to the psd you made earlier
    Select all the Photoshop layers
Check "create MovieClips for these layers."
Convert layers to keyframes or flash layers (not important, since you probaby don't need to keep this symbol)
    OK
You'll have Movie Clips, not Graphic Symbols, but maybe you can write or find a JSFL to convert them and then you can block select them, click the Properties button, and change the type from MovieClip to Graphc.

  • Can't import pictures to iPhoto and can't close app

    Good Day!
    iMac with OS X 10.8.2
    iPhoto 9.4.2
iPhoto as stopped working recently. It used to be fine.
I cannot import pictures anymore: From camera, it says it's importing but it hangs and I have to force quit. From desktop nothing happens.
Also, when I try to quit iPhoto it hangs. Have to force quit.
I have restarted iPhoto with "option-command" keys and went through all the options with no success.
I have deleted iPhoto (dragged from applications menu to trash) and reinstalled it with no success.
Any idea what I could try next?
    Regards,

You could try to recover using Time Capsule, but I fear that the backed up iPhoto Library suffers from the same corruption. You could go back in time to earlier Time Machine backups on Time Capsule to try to find an uncorrupted, older version of your iPhoto Library.
Here's how to move all your photos into a brand new iPhoto Library. This is a brute force way to get all your original photos (and events) into a new, clean Library. I think that your album information will not be moved into the new Library and you'll need to recreate that.
I normally would not recommend doing this but because you have already rebuit your Library using Apple's method and also using IPhoto Library Manager and haven't succeeded, this is like a last resort.
    (1) Start iPhoto with option key held down to create a brand new, empty iPhoto Library. (I think you have done this already, actually.)
    (2) With iPhoto running from this new, empty iPhoto Library, go to your old, corrupted iPhoto Library in the Finder. Control-click on the corrupted Library and select Show Package Contents.
    (3) There should be a folder called Masters there. It should have lots of folders and photo files inside. Drag that Masters folder onto your open iPhoto window where you are running iPhoto connected to the new, empty iPhoto Library.
    (4) This should import (copy) into the new Library all the original photos from the old, corrupted Library.
    (5) You may find that the Event names are not what they were in the old, corrupted Library, but I think the photos will still be grouped into the same Events as before.
    (6) Close iPhoto. Reopen iPhoto, see that this new Library appears to have all your photos as best you can.
You can return to your old, corrupted iPhoto Library for more attempts to revive it because this procedure does not do anything to that old Library. It simply copies all the photos into a new one.
Make sure you have enough disk space to essentially make a copy of the old Library befor eembarking on this.

  • Can't move video and pix files back to iPod Touch from desktop computer

I moved (via drag-and-drop in Windows) video and picture files from an iPod Touch (iOS 5.1.1) to a Windows 7 desktop computer. I want to copy some of them back, but it won't let me drag-and-drop to copy them back to the iPod. How do I get the files back on the iPod? I know that the "disk mode" is not available on the Touch. Also, although the iPod shows up in iTunes on my desktop computer, these video and picture files (Quick Time Movies, JPEGs, etc.) don't show up there. So, I'm out of ideas. A related question: how do I scan the iPod using my Windows 7 desktop computer's anti-virus application (McAfee)? Normally, when I right-click on a device on the desktop computer, it offers me the ability to scan it for viruses. Not only does it not give me this option for the iPod; the iPod doesn't even show up as a hard drive; it shows up in the window as a separate "flavor" of drive. Is there a way to make Windows 7 think that the iPod Touch is just another USB-connected drive; i.e., is there a way to mimic the disk mode option that is available on other models of the iPod other than the Touch?

    - There is no way to scan the iPod for virus via a computer program. I know of no way to scan an iPod.
    - To sync photos to the iPod see:
iOS and iPod: Syncing photos using iTunes
    - To sync videos to the iPod see:
iTunes: Syncing media content to iOS devices and iPod

  • Premiere Pro CC Crashes immediately when adding an imported picture or video

    Hello,
My Premiere Pro CC will not allow me to simply add a picture or video to begin a video edit. I've updated the program, I've uninstalled the program and re-downloaded it, and then updated it again. I have a HP Envy 15 wich has an i7 processor, 8gb of ram as well as other hardware features that should allow me to use this program effictively. What could my issue be?

  • Rented Movie Video and Sound out of sync

I love renting movies from ITunes , but there is this ongoing issue with video and sound syncronisation. I have Window 7 64bit with i7 processor and the latest version of Itunes. I have gone through the settings of altering the sound properties on Quicktime player and Windows to 16bit 44khz which had improved it alot.
But when watching a film half way through the sound appears to overtake the video. Would this be a setting on the latency currently set to 33.000ms and should increasing this cure the problem?
I'll try altering the settings on one more film , if that doesn't work then ITunes for me is history.

Does it behave the same way when you watch the video on your computer? What you observed is not that uncommon since some formats/recorders tend to loose sync between the video and audio.

  • Aperture does not import iPhoto movie Title and Description?

I recently imported a 16,000 image iPhoto Library to Aperture including 270 movies.
There were some problems with the import. An older camera's movies cannot be shown in Aperture and lack thumbnails -- though they can play (for now) externally in QuickTime player. Many other movies lacked thumbnails, but Aperture added them with the Generate Thumbnail command.
These are annoying glitches, but I had a more serious problem with Aperture's iPhoto import of Movies. None of the Titles or Descriptions were imported into Aperture.
    Has anyone else seen this?

Thanks! I've thought about this a bit more, and what the bug is.
I think it's an oddly simple bug -- maybe a hurried hack as Aperture 3.x was going to market and the responsible engineers discovered they were missing a key feature. They may have "stolen" the "set Version Name to Master Filename" function and, for iPhoto import, quietly made it "set Version Name to iPhoto Title" -- without revising their documentation or the UI.
Here's what I wrote up on my blog. I'll try to file a bug report against Aperture on this. I'll mark this post as answering my question
    http://tech.kateva.org/2012/03/iphoto-8-to-aperture-3-migration-notes.html
Aperture handling of iPhoto Title data depends, mysteriously, on the iPhoto Version Name import setting that Apple documents as: "... choose Master Filename from the Version Name pop-up menu to have your files stored using the current master filenames from your camera or card". (Since we're importing from iPhoto, and not a camera or card, this documentation is misleading.)
In reality, during iPhoto import, setting Version Name = Master Filename does nothing of the sort. Instead, this is what happens:
The filename is equal to the filename used in iPhoto
Aperture.Version name is set equal to the iPhoto Title.
I don't know what Aperture would do if we set Version Name = a Custom name where one of the custom name components was "Master Filename". Would it still treat iPhoto.Title as "Master Filename"?
I think there are two bugs here. I think Aperture "Version Name=Master Filename" was supposed to set Aperture.Version to the file name, and that there was supposed to be ANOTHER drop down (and a custom name tag) that of the form "Version Name=iPhoto Title"

  • Importing pictures into iPhoto and Mac

    Hello,
I like to store my pictures on an external hard drive that I share with my Mac and other PCs and media sharing (PS3, Wii) consoles. I use the iPhoto to organize my pictures on the Mac by event/faces/places etc. But I do not want to use the iPhoto's library to store my pictures. The pictures need to go into my external hard drive.
I do want to use my Mac as the computer to move the pictures from my camera onto my external hard drive. When moving the pictures to my external hard drive, I like to setup a separate folder for each event and name my pictures with the event name and a sequence number.
I have accomplished some of this by setting the preference in iPhoto to not copy the pictures into library when importing.
I am looking for some type of seamless solution to accomplish the following
When I insert the SD card into my Mac, I want it to allow me to copy my pictures where I want them with the names I want to give it and then finally move them to iPhoto for me to organize them using events/faces/places.
If any of you are familiar with the Microsoft Scanner and Camera Wizard, I am looking for something like that. This software automatically starts up when you connect any camera to it. It brings up all the pictures in the camera and then allows you to select or deselect the pictures you want to move. It then prompts you to enter the file prefix and folder where you want to copy the pictures. Also gives you option to delete the pictures after import. Once you click the button, it starts to copy the pictures and it even lets you publish the pictures to web if you choose to do so.

Image Capture (in your Applications Folder) will do some of what you want. There are other apps that will do batch renaming and so on.
Some comments on your proposed set up:
Having the Library on one volume and the photos referenced from another can be very problematic. iPhoto uses a very simple tool for workign with Referenced Libraries: Aliases. Aliases are perfectly good when the Library and the photo are on the same volume - the alias will track when the original moves and so on. However,  if anything changes in the path to a file on another volume the alias will break, and you'll may find yourself repairing it manually for everyone of these photos, one by one.
Another point to bear in mind, the edited versions of photos will not be available to the other devices.
Iphoto may not be the app you want for this job.
    Regards

  • Muxing a .mov video and .m4a audio

I used the screen recording tool in 10.7 (Quicktime), to record a Citrix GoToMeeting. The resulting file a 1080p (recorded on a 17' MBP). I also used Rogue Amoeba's 'Piezo' software to record audio coming in via Skype; exported file is an .m4a audio file.
Simple question - How can I mux the .mov and .m4a file with Compressor?
Also, the audio is a tad bit off, with the video being about 2.5 seconds ahead of the video. What can I do in FCP X to adjust this?

I suppose you could create a job, select surround sound and designate your file as one or more channels – then add the vieo file. You could also turn your video into an m2v elementary strea and your audio into an Ac3, make sure the file names were identcal up to the extension and mux those in MPEG Streamclip.
But if I understand your objective correctly, the better approach would be to bypass Compressor and import the files into FCP X. Adjust the position the audio and video clips until they sync properly and then export to the format you need.
    Good luck.
