Import Pictures to the Contacts

How can I import also the pictures from the Microsoft Outlook 2003 Contact profile to the iPod Contact? I see all details and informations from the Outlook profile, but not the picture. who can help me? I have an Video iPod

I have installed iTunes 6.0.2.23 (on winXP) and updated my iPod Video.
but there it still do not get the pictures of the contacts from outlook into my iPod.
The option to sync the fotos of the contacts is check.
Any idea?

Importing pictures into the item master data

Hello, everyone,
I want to import pictures into the items master data - does anyone know which size the picture should have?
The problem is - i just tested it with some pics of 640x480, but the placeholder in the item data must be smaller, so the picture is scaled down and as result of that it doesn't look good (the colors are falsified and there are also some artifacts). If I double-click the picture and it's opened in an own window in its original resolution - everything is fine..but i want a good quality of the picture in the item data already.
So my first idea was to make pictures of the resolution of that placeholder in SBO, but i don't know how to get this. Any ideas?

The picture size does not matter, but rather a setting in Administration > System Initialization > General settings > Display TAB. On this tab you will find a setting with a drop down called "Ext. Image Processing". Set this to full and the full quality of any pictures will be used, but of course resized to fit the field. Bear in mind that images are not embedded in the tables but only the file name of the image is stored in the table.

Help Needed on Importing Pictures for a Contact...

I've managed to get a picture or two in Addressbook, but it must have been pure luck. Tonight I went to replace the "flower" that is next to a persons name, and though I dragged a picture into the little frame where you can enlarge and shrink it successfully, and I pressed the button that says "SET"....the picture never "takes" and replaces the one that is there.
Is there a catch to easily getting a picture to go in here?

Try this (from AB help):
Address Book supports pictures in JPEG, GIF, TIFF, PNG, PDF, or just about any graphics format. If you can view the image with Preview (located in the Applications folder), Address Book can generally use the image as a picture for a card.
To choose an image for a contact:
Select the contact to which you want to add an image and click Edit.
Double-click the image if there is one. If there is no image, double-click the box to the left of the contact's name.
Click Choose and locate the image you want to use.
Drag the image in the box to select the portion you want to appear in the box.

How can you import pictures from the iphoto app to your mac book pro into iphoto on a mac book pro using mavericks?

I've tried to look this up on the app, and it tells me to use the iTunes file sharing and I can see anything with this trying to use both. I'm trying to keep my pictures in chronological order. Does in know how I can use this? Any help I would greatly appreciate. Thank you!

OK. This is two separate issues. To import pictures on your iPhone into your MBP, you can use iPhoto or the Image Capture app (in the Applications folder).
To use iPhoto, connect your iPhone to your Mac with its USB cable & launch iPhoto. Your iPhone will be listed it in the "Devices" panel on the left. Choose it & you will get a window where you can import all or selected photos as either "split events" or as a single event. If you need help with this, try opening iPhoto's built-in help & selecting the "Import Photos" item. That will open the Import photos from iPhone or other mobile phone help topic. Expand the Import photos from iPhone section & study it. It should answer all your questions about this better than I can!
To use the Image Capture app, you connect the iPhone & select it just like above. The app has several options for importing images, but what you may find useful if you do not want to import directly into iPhoto is that you can just drag any of the iPhone's displayed items onto the desktop or into a folder like you would any other file & they will be copied to that location.
As for organization of items in iPhoto, there are four ways they can be grouped for display (by event, by photo, by face, & by place). All except by faces offers a "By date" sort choice in the iPhoto View > Sort Photos menu item.

How do I import pictures from the internet? Which tutorial tells how?

I've got this great computer that I absolutely love but I still don't know how to use so many things and I can''t seem to find what I need to know in the tutorials and manuals.
I am still trying to figure out how to import pictures from web sources so that I can save them for reference or to share.
How do I do this and where can I find the printed info?
The only thing I can figure out right now is to print out the pic and then scan it back onto the desktop. I hope this is not the only way.

In most cases, it is much simpler than you would think.
In this case, all you need to do is click on the image and drag it out of the browser window to some location... your Desktop, or a folder on your Desktop.

LR 5.2 hangs when importing pictures from the SD reader (Macbook)

Hi, I'm experiencing problems when importing pictures in Lightroom. The context is
- Lightroom 5.2
- Nikon D600 (always RAW files)
- SDHC SanDisk Extreme Pro 32GB (UHS-I, 95MB/s)
- Macbook pro 15" early 2011 (high def matte screen) running Mac OS 10.7
I have a recurrent problem when importing pictures in Lightroom using the built-in SD reader. LR starts the process ok but a few seconds later it seems to stop. If I click on a picture I get "preview not available". Even when (after a long long time) the importing finishes, the pictures are corrupted and I have to start it again.
The only solution I've found so far: try once and again (ejecting the card doesn't work, so I get several messages: 'disk not unmounted cleanly' or something similar) until it works smoothly. Usually 3 or 4 re-tries are needed. It goes worse with the number of pictures: the more pictures I have in my SD card, the more likely it will hang repeatedly. Very disappointing...

Try this: launch iPhoto with the Option key held down and create a new, test library. Import some photos and check to see if the same problem persists. Be sure to not delete the photos after importing into the library.
If you are able to import into the new library try repairing your current library as follows: make a temporary, backup copy (select the library and type Command+D) and apply the two fixes below in order as needed:
Fix #1
Launch iPhoto with the Command+Option keys held down and rebuild the library.
Since only one option can be run at a time start with Option #1, followed by #3 and then #4 as needed.
Fix #2
Using iPhoto Library Manager to Rebuild Your iPhoto Library
Download iPhoto Library Manager and launch.
Click on the Add Library button, navigate to your Home/Pictures folder and select your iPhoto Library folder.
Now that the library is listed in the left hand pane of iPLM, click on your library and go to the File ➙ Rebuild Library menu option
In the next window name the new library and select the location you want it to be placed.
Click on the Create button.
Note: This creates a new library based on the LIbraryData.xml file in the library and will recover Events, Albums, keywords, titles and comments but not books, calendars or slideshows. The original library will be left untouched for further attempts at fixing the problem or in case the rebuilt library is not satisfactory.

You can import to the stage, or to the library. Usually I
import to the library. If you are going to import directly to the
stage, you must click your mouse in the layer that the image should
go into.

Hey,
When someone calls me, I don't see his photo on full screen, instead I see the wallpaper and a small pic of him at the top.
How can I make it put the photo of the caller instead of the wallpaper when he calls me?
And can I put a password to enter when I want to see a certain contact's info?

A photo assigned to a contact with the Address Book on your Mac, which is transferred to your iPhone via the iTunes sync process, appears postage stamp size when receiving a call from the contact and when placing a call to a contact. If you want a contact's photo to appear full screen when receiving a call from the contact or placing a call to the contact, you need to assign a photo to the contact on your iPhone.

Hello. When I import my pictures from a SD Card with Photoshop Elements 7, they are not chronologically sorted and the numbers of the file names don't correspond to the dates of the pictures.
Is there a way of importing the pictures so that the numbers of the file names are in the chronological order?

In PSE's Photo Downloader, make that for Rename Files, you've selected Do Not Rename Files. This will preserve the original naming of images created by your camera, which should be in chronological order. If after checking the Rename Files, you're still getting out-of-order naming, perhaps you can provide more details, in particular, what names are given to the files by the downloader and do the dates-taken shown in the Organizer correspond to the dates-taken shown in the camera?

Issues importing pictures into the project I want

When I import a photo it imports into the project I want but also creates a second "new" project in the same folder, how do I get it to only import where I want? I appreciate any help.

Import picture from the web

how can i import images from google images to make it a clip with that images

In most cases you should be able to drag images from a website direclty to your Desktop.
From there, add them to iPhoto or drag them directly into iMovie.
But (and this could be a big but) many of the images, if not most, that you encounter on web sites are copyrighted and their may be restrictions on how you can legal use them.
