Import PO MIGO Issue

Hi CIN experts,
Issue 1 : In MIGO of import PO BED and Cess and AED values are not coming.
Issue 2  : The history tab in PO is displayed but empty.
I have checked EKBE table which is not showing me any value.
I know there is note 0001455129 , after applying this history tab will be updated.
Is this the reason for my issue no 1 ?
Please guide me after applying abov mentioned SAP note excise valu will be there at the time of MIGO.
Regards,
Gitesh

Hi,
In import procurement process the dutyies will be captured before GR.
And in PO your entring zero tax code hence it will not show any tax value. These tax such as BED, CESS are captured as planned delivery cost during MIRO. and sysmtem will generate commmercial invoice no you  have to refer this reference no while capturing Excise using J1IEX just capture no posting. Then follows GR and finally post Excise invoice. Please check which commerical invoice you are refering while posting Excise invoice.

  • Issue in Import PO MIGO

    Hi CIN Experts,
    We are now upgraded to Ecc 6.0 from 4.7.
    Previously we were using import procedure in which JCV1 conition was clubed with CVDEcessSEcess+AED due to non avalability of fileds in 4.7.
    Now as we are on ECC6.0 ,we have changed the procedure and now using all standerd fileds for Ecss and SEcess with new subtransaction IP and with neccessary customisation.
    But there is problem in MIGO for import PO filds BED,Cess and SEcess fileds are not updated as per standerd procedure.
    Also for old pending PO new pricing is not working properly.
    Please guide me how to proceed for IMPORT scenario.
    Thanks in advance,

    hi
    chekc following configuration
    in ur pricing u have to create following
    JCDB IN: Basic Custom Duty
    JCV1 IN : CVD
    JECV IN : Ed Cess on CVD
    J1CV IN : H&SECess on CVD
    JEDB IN : Ed Cess on BCD
    JSDB IN : H&SECess on BCD
    JADC Additional Duty of Custom
    JCV1, JECV, J1CV and JADC will go to Excise MODVAT Accounts and JCDB, JEDB and JSDB will get loaded on inventory.
    In M/06, for all above conditions, keep following controls;
    Cond. class A (Discount or surcharge) Plus/minus A (Positive)
    Calculat.type A (Percentage)
    Cond.category B (Delivery costs)
    Activate "Currency Conversion" and "Accrual"
    Now for setoff
    maintain the following conditions in excise default settings.
    JCV1, JECV, JADC
    path: spro>logistic general >tax on goods movements>India >basic settings>determination of excise duty >maintain excise defaults >
    along with ur tax procedure maintain these conditions in the specified fields
    JCV1 in CVD condition field.
    JECV in ECS condition field.
    JADC in ACD condition field.
    in case of SECess on CVD, no need to maintain.
    it is hardcode in the standard
    Vendor in GR 2 (Entry always possible)

  • Import PO - MIGO accounting entries not coming as required .

    Dear Team ,
    During Import PO , i have completed MIRO for planned delivery costs .. i have then gone to complete MIGO
    while doing this MIGO , i find that Material - Dr and GR/IR clearing - Cr which is correct
    but the problem is the planned delivery costs for which i earlier created MIRO is also added into the material value and each of them has to get displayed separately at the time of MIGO ( as each is assigned to separate accounts ) ... but right now all these planned delivery costs are getting added to the material value and is shown as 1 figure in GR/IR clearing account .
    what settings are to made so that the planned delivery costs included in the GR/IR clearing to be shown separately ?
    example :
    __existing :__
    after MIGO ,
    Material - 50000 ngn ( Dr)
    GR/IR clearing - 50000 ngn ( Cr)
    *expected :*
    after MIGO ,
    Material - 50000 ngn ( Dr )
    GR/IR clearing - 40,000 ngn
    GIT Duty - 5,000 ngn
    GIT Insurance - 5,000 ngn
    Please suggest ..
    Thanks ,
    Mike

    HI
    check following points for your condition in M/06
    Condition class =A
    Calculate. Type=A
    Condition Category=B ( Delivery cost)
    Accurals
    and check in M/08
    Statistical
    Assign Accurals and account key
    IN po check you are assigen vendor to that condition ,click on details  of condition in po and assign vendor

  • Importing LCA applications issues

    Hello everybody.
    In the last few days I've been working with the LCES2 Linux virtual appliance made available by Adobe and I tried to import a fairly complex application developed with LCES 8.2.1.
    I stumbled across a few issues I'd like to share with you.
    The LCA archive was created with LCES WorkBench and I had no issues with previous versions of LCES; in LCES2, I had to import it using adminui [LiveCycle Archives (8.x)] and then, using LCES2 WB, I had to create a new application and import Processes and Resources from the server.
    Once the operation completed, I noticed the following:
    1) FTP Exceptions are not handled
    I had a couple of FTP "Get to filesystem" and "Put" operations whose "FTPConnectionException" was not handled and caused a LCES exception; as a workaround, I had to remove the exception and "re-draw" it as to point again to the handling block (and it worked).
    2) SubProcess renaming
    The main process had a subprocess named "PDF/A Operations" which, once imported into LCES2 WorkBench, was renamed (in the [Applications] view) as "A Operations". This seems to be a cosmetic issue since I did not have to change the invoking block as to reflect the change of the name.
    3) Accented characters
    In both a "Send with Document" email operation or in a simple assignment (Setvalue/Execute) I had an expression which contained accented characters (eg, à or è); I had to edit the message/assignment as to retype the offending characters (which got depicted as []) as to let LCES2 handle them as expected). The same went for the GeneratePDFOutput which suffered from the same "disease"
    4) Missing Font
    Since the original project was developed on a Windows 2003 server, I had to change a couple of fonts (namely, the "Times New Roman" one) in a form since this font does not exist under Linux by default (and I did not want to spend a lot of time by importing the missing fonts into the Linux box)
    5) Import issue
    I had a process who got incorrectly imported into the new LCES2 environment; by "incorrectly imported" I mean there are some operations (which existed in the LCES 8.2 one) which have not been imported into LCES2. I've still to fix it but I think a simple XML export from LCES WB + Import *might* fix it.
    If you have suggestions/opinions, please let me know.
    Have a nice Xmas time.
    Rob

    In the Region Inspector on the left of your Arrange you find a little box labeled "follow tempo" - if you untick that box the Audio will play at the original speed.

  • Import Scenario|MIGO no excise calculated|BED SED ECess SHECess all are 0|

    In Import scenario, when i am doing MIGO after LIV for Custom vendor, system is not capturing excise invoice , infact its showing all excise components like BED,AED,ECS & SHECess etc "Zero" value. Kindly help me out & point me out where i am making mistake..just want to inform..we can take credit on CVD,ECS on custom  etc...

    Hello,
    Indian Import cycle is bit more complicated and SAP is not geared to handle in a straight manner through single MIGO as the cycle consists of multiple vendors.
    This  requires special Schema to be developed and needs Both FICO and MM consultants to work together.
    Imports will have two categories.
    Category 1: Bonding and De-bonding cycle ( Freight and Insurance during Bonding  and other duties during De-bonding )
    Category 2 : Home consumption ( all charges to be accounted at one stage )
    Further Import cycle also has two types :
    Type 1 for Manufacturing plant  ( CENvat credit for certain duties to be availed )
    Type 2 for trading plant ( no credit of duties )
    In altogether there are 4 procedures to be adopted for the above.
    The schema should be such that, at PO stage.  We should be able to assign multiple vendors : Import supplier for Items ( foreign currency ) , India customs  for Duties  (  Indian currency ) , Freight and Insurance separately ( Indian or foreign currency as the case may be ). During schema, duties have to be defiend as VATable and non VATable. Accordingly, accounting posting keys to be defined.
    Most important aspect is the FI transactions and mapping it to import cycle. In case of Import cycle, MIRO is done first and then MIGO is carried out later steps.
    Payment of Advance to Supplier : Vendor advance and corresponding enctry in GL account, credit Bank a/c , debit Vendor A/c
    MIRO is done in Three or four instances ( may be five also if  cenvat credit for duties to be taken ).
    Step 1:
    MIRO -1, Freight vendor : Inventorised  : Credit Freight Vendor, debit freight & Insurance clearing account, when money is paid : Debit Vendor, Credit Bank
    MIRO -2, Insurance Vendor : Inventorised  : Credit  Insurance vendor, Debit  Freight & Insurance clearing account, when money is paid : Debit Vendor, Credit Bank
    MIRO- 3, India customs ( All five duties together  ) : Inventorised    credit Vendor, Debit Duties clearing account, when money is paid : Debit Vendor, Credit Bank
                               OR
    MIRO - 3, Basic Duties : non vatable  : to be inventoriesed, Credit Vendor, Debit Duties clearing account  and
    MIRO - 4, ED, Edu cess :  vatable :, Credit Vendor, Debit  vat clearing account, Vat credit  through ji1h and non inventorised, hence will not be part of costing, Credit Vat clearing account, Debit VAT account when money is paid : Debit Vendor, Credit Bank
    Step 2:
    MIGO : to Stores where  accenting documents gets generated to the extent of inventorising .All the inventorised values in corresponding GL accounts produces the Product Cost.  Debit Inventory
                          Credit GRIR a/c
                          Credit Freight & Insurance A/c ( for both freight & Insurance )
                          Credit Duty clearing a/c ( 3 or % as the case, may be )
    Step 3:
    MIRO - 4, on Supplier  ( Foreign exchange ), Entry to be cancelled against advance paid. While carrying out, the difference in exchange rate also to be passed on to separate GL account. : to be inventgorised.
    Credit  Vendor a/c, Debit GRIR clearing a/c

  • Import Manager   Delimiter Issue "|

    Hi,
             We are facing a issue in during Import...We are loading Pipe Delimited file. Whenever we get "after |(Pipe) MDM is throwing an exception stating that 'Number of field values does not match the field columns'...Please let me know any body faced these kind of issues and solution. The format used here is UTF-8...
    Example :  |TEST123"EEE|TEST|A| - Here " comes after the Pipe and MDM Import Manager Accepting
    |"TEST123 EEE|TEST|A|  - MDM Import Manager is throwing an error stating that 'Number of field values does not match the field columns' because " comes immediately after pipe....
    Thanks
    Ganesh Kotti

    Ganesh, please see [Note 1346052 - Connecting to source Import Manager error message|https://websmp230.sap-ag.de/sap(bD1lbiZjPTAwMQ==)/bc/bsp/spn/sapnotes/index2.htm?numm=1346052].
    The " has special meanings in import manager and can only be used in pairs.  If the first character of a field is a ", then there has to be another one in the same field.  Or you can remove it alltogether.

  • Journal Import EBS R12 Issue

    Hi All,
    Environment :
    - Solaris 11
    - EBS R12
    - Oracle DB 11.2.0.3.0
    Journal Import Profile option is default (still no settings / default settings / not still tune).
    Our Journal Import could not submit more than 4000 records.
    When we try to import data more than 4000, there is an error SQL*Net message to client on OAM view log, and when I looking on LAB128 and OEM, the process stop mostly on gl.gl_je_lines, sometimes on gl.gl_je_headers.
    I had already followed suggestion from metalink forum :
    change DB : sqlnet.ora, listener.ora
    add sqlnet.ora on Apps Server (EBS R12 Server)
    But, now there is another issue, the error SQL*Net message to client not raise anymore, but when I see Journal Import OAM log, LAB128 and OEM, the sessions is inactive but the process looks like looping forever.
    Need suggestion solution for this issue.
    Any help is very appreciated and score. Thanks before.

    Dear Mr. Hussein,
    Our EBS version : 12.1.3, while
    R12:Journal Import Failing With ORA-24337 Error When Importing All GROUP IDs [ID 1159594.1] Oracle General Ledger - Version: 12.0.0 to 12.1.2 - Release: 12.0 to 12.1
    I'm already change the settings of :
    Please revert to Oracle Net Server tracing/logging, set following parameter in the server's sqlnet.ora :
    DIAG_ADR_ENABLED = OFF
    - to back out the ADR diag for the Listener component, set following parameter in the server's listener.ora:
    DIAG_ADR_ENABLED_<listenername> = OFF
    - Where the <listenername> would be replaced with the actual name of the configured listener(s) in the listener.ora configuration file. For example, if the listener name is 'LISTENER', the parameter would read:
    DIAG_ADR_ENABLED_LISTENER = OFF
    -Reload or restart the TNS Listener for the parameter change to take effect.
    ACTION PLAN
    ============
    We will need to trace a connection on both CLIENT and SERVER endpoints to see what is happening. Please follow these steps:
    1. Add the following parameters in the sqlnet.ora file on the CLIENT workstation (where sql loader is executed):
    TRACE_LEVEL_CLIENT=16
    TRACE_DIRECTORY_CLIENT=<some_known_directory>
    TRACE_FILE_CLIENT=client
    TRACE_UNIQUE_CLIENT=ON
    TRACE_TIMESTAMP_CLIENT=ON
    DIAG_ADR_ENABLED =OFF -- add this in case of 11g client
    If you need to restrict the amount of disk space used by the long-term traces then you can also set the following:
    TRACE_FILELEN_CLIENT=<file_size_in_Kbytes>
    TRACE_FILENO_CLIENT=<number_of_files>
    2. Add the following parameters in the sqlnet.ora file on the SERVER:
    TRACE_LEVEL_SERVER=16
    TRACE_DIRECTORY_SERVER=<some_known_directory>
    TRACE_FILE_SERVER=server
    TRACE_TIMESTAMP_SERVER=ON
    DIAG_ADR_ENABLED =OFF
    If you need to restrict the amount of disk space used by the long-term traces then you can also set the following:
    TRACE_FILELEN_SERVER=<file_size_in_Kbytes>
    TRACE_FILENO_SERVER=<number_of_files>
    3. Try to reproduce the issue.
    4. Check if trace files were created.
    5. Disable tracing by removing the TRACE lines from sqlnet.ora on both CLIENT and SERVER.
    6. Compress (in .zip or .tar.gz format) and upload the trace files.
    We only need a pair of client and server trace files for the same sqlplus session which exhibits the issue; in order to match client and server trace files you should use the tips in Note:374116.1 "How to Match Oracle Net Client and Server Trace Files"below is result of failing Journal Import :

    My temporary suspect is on network issue between Apps Server and DB Server (Two-Tier) because with AutoBatch for FAH (Financial Accounting Hub), there is 5 Journal Import Processing on Request and only this one was error.
    My team had raised this issue to SR two days ago, hopefully few hours again, we could see their answer.

  • CS5.5--Issues with audio from imported avi's & issues exporting

    To Start, my laptop:
    CPU: Intel® Core ™ i7-2330QM CPU @ 2.00 GHz
    CPU Clock Frequency: 2.00 GHz
    System Memory: 8 GBytes
    Cache Memory: 1 MBytes/6 Mbytes
    Manufacturer: Sony Corporation
    Model name: VPCF226FM
    BIOS VERSION: R1190V#
    OS Version: Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium
    ME Version: 7.0.10.1203
    System Type: 64-bit Operating System
    I downloaded the 30-day free trial of Premiere Pro CS5.5 with all updates.  To play with the program, for my own personal amusement, I wanted to edit together pieces from a bunch of avi videos that I know to play properly outside the program, tested on more than one computer.
    At first, importing the files seemed to be no problem, making subclips as I went along.
    However, as I continued to import files, there began to be a sound issue--sometimes the sound not being present till I was 1/3 of the way through the clip, sometimes the sound seemingly playing catch up with audio that should be earlier in the video appearing later, sometimes the sound wouldn't come up at all, and still other times I'd be, for example, on video 5 when pieces of audio from video 2 would start playing over the current video.
    I initially thought it may just be a memory issue, working with many large video files.
    But later, when I went to edit the subclips I made, I found that many of them no longer had sound, even if they did when I initially subclipped them.
    Weirdly, in the timeline, there is no consistency, as clips will appear in the video track but only some show audio tracks too.  But those with audio tracks don't always play audio and those that show NO audio tracks at all actually do play audio sometimes.  Also, those that show audio tracks and don't play them sometimes will show waveforms, sometimes don't.  A clip with no waveform may not play 95% of the time, but then occasionally will suddenly have the waveform and play a couple times before reverting back to no audio.
    A suitable solution for this personal amusement project would just be to drop a new soundtrack over the thing but, before I even got that far, I tried exporting as avi's and mpeg4's but then get error messages such as:
    Premiere Pro has encountered an error.
    [..\..\Src\Win\WinFile.cpp-785]
    Error compiling movie.
    Unknown error.
    In case it was a memory issue, I tried starting a new project, only importing 2 videos, but had the same audio and exporting issues.
    I'm getting really frustrated as I spent a lot of time importing/subclipping and then even more time prepping before that.
    For those who are bound to ask, while new to Premiere, I'm not a novice with editing.  I've used Final Cut Pro at work for many years (without such issues).
    Thanks for your help.

  • 10g-cvs update/import new files issue

    Hi all,
    when I update a folder in jdev 10g, it doesn't open the new checked in files in the environment
    in the old 9i I used to click on 'update folder' and the tool prompted me 'open the new files in the active project?'
    now if I update a folder, it just update the already opened files,without importing the new ones
    any workaround?
    thanks in advance

    Hi,
    Due to a customer support request, the behavior of prompting to open newly checked out files in the active project was removed when performing CVS update on a folder. If the project file is version controlled and gets updated at the same time, the changes are very difficult to consolidate. For the best CVS experience, we recommend using projects which scan source paths to determine their contents (see Project Properties / Input Paths), and manually refreshing the navigator when new files may have resulted from an update operation.
    This issue is being tracked, and we'll keep it in mind.
    Thanks.

  • Import Manager Performance Issue

    A data load that once took 10 minutes to run is now taking more than 2 hours!  What could have happened? This change in run time has occurred in the last week after we've been loading data constantly over the past year!  The results are the same whether running the import on a workstation or directly on the server.  I've tried the following without changing the results:
    1. Rebooted Server  (MDM and SQL server on the same machine)
    2. Updated Indices
    3. Archived repository, deleted repository, rebooted server and unarchived repository.  I was hoping  that reloading the database would correct an indexing problem.
    Here is the system's statistics:
    -  MDM 5.5 SP3  5.5.28.88
    -  Repository Size: 8GB
    -  Contains about 180k products with JPG images
    I have opened a Marketplace message on this issue - #337011.
    Any suggestions beyond what I've already tried would be appreciated.
    Much Thanks!
    Travis

    Arun,
    We are using "Update (All Mapped fields)"
    This scenario had 96 mapped fields and 24 rows of data being loaded.
    thanks!

  • PLS-00753: malformed or corrupted wrapped unit; Import and Export issues

    I'm new to oracle, please help me with below...
    After a full import as follows:
    imp username/password FILE=dump_file.dmp log=logFile.log ignore=y full=y &
    I face two issues and they are:
    1. I find that a partitioned table is missing. Verifying with the other team(who did the export), i found that they gave a full export. Hence shouldn't all objects of the user be exported?
    What could be the reason for it?
    2. Also there is package which is wrapped, and compiling it gives me this error-
    PLS-00753: malformed or corrupted wrapped unit
    How do i find the reason behind and rectify the same?
    M using Oracle 10g.
    Thanks in advance....

    You can do one more thing if they're not willing to give you export logs/responding slowly.
    You can use the option show=y which will show the structure of the objects in the data dump. But remember this will take time; If your dump is very huge, you have to think twice before using this option.
    If you don't have metalink access, see the snap here

  • Excess Value Credited In LIAB GRR-EXP IMPORT While Doing Import PO MIGO

    We Have Created Import PO.
    Done Custm MIRO.
    Also Done MIGO.
    But For Some OF The Items   Agency Charges Were Automatically Fetched From Info Records.
    And Thus Those Values Are Credited To LIAB GRR-EXP IMPORT.
    Please Suggest.

    Hi,
    Agency charges must have got copied from your info-record to PO and then in MIGO. It is not possible to post the values directly from the Info record to MIGO. If the charges are not required by you then you will have to reverse the GRN.However system will not allow you to amend the conditions in the PO as Purchase order history exists.
    Can you brief what is required by you.
