Import Procedure for Zero Value Materials (Free of cost)

Dear all,
Our client have business scenario that they are getting Import Materials for Rs. 0/- (Sample material), and we all know that at the time of receiving from the customs we have to clear customs duties based on the value of the material. Since for our client its free of cost, how to make process in SAP and to maintain the customs conditions.
Normally we will make process if there is value in Purchase order.
PO => MIRO => J1IEX => MIGO => J1IEX => MIRO.
Kindly let me know if anybody have done this scenario.
regards,
Dhanu

Dear Sir,
I am also in Import dept and now working in SAP . hope the same problem will come to us in future.
1. U rise the P.O for the exact value .
2. Bill pass the customs duty in MIRO while paying duty.
3. then amend the orderand make the value for the material in P.O as zero.

  • Consumption value updated for zero value materials

    Hi Masters
I have maintained value of a material in material master as zero.Although it is maintained zero, When the material is issued using 261 accounting document got generated and showin the following entries
      Inventory a/c
    Consumption a/c(+)
    How it is happening?

    hi,
Check your price control it would be MAP...
    REASON :
Suppose you post the GR at price of 100/pc...where as in MMR the price is ZERO...
Now when you post the GR at 100/pc...the MAP changes in the MMR automatically...ie. via total value / total stock...so the MAP doesn't remain ZERO now...
So, now when you post the GI, the current MAP is taken from MMR ie. Non-ZERO value and so system post the accounting document while GI...
I hope the matter is clear now..

  • Stacked 100% bar chart - Problem with datatips for zero value data points

I have a stacked 100% bar chart that shows datatips in Flex 4.   However, I don't want it to show datatips for
data points with zero values.   Flex 4 shows the datatip for a zero value data point on the left side of a bar if the data point is not the first in the series.
Here's the code that illustrates this problem.    Of particular concern is the July bar.    Because of the zero value data point problem, it's not possible to see the datatip for "aaa".
Any ideas on how we can hide/remove the datatips for zero value data points ?        Thanks.

  • Mandatory field Export/Import Procedure for Foreign Trade

    Hello all!
Is there any possibilty to define the field Export/Import Procedure for Foreign Trade
within the infoset as a mandatory field?
Table T162 doesn't show me this field.
    Kind regards,
    Barbara

    Hello,
in customizing under "Materials Management --> Purchasing --> Foreign Trade/Customs --> Control Foreign Trade Data in MM and SD Documents --> Incompleteness Schemas for Foreign Trade Data" you can create an incompletion procedure defininig the documents fields assigning a control type. Then in the subsequent customizing step "Foreign Trade Data in MM and SD Documents" you can assign the Incompleteness schema to each country code, choosing import or export.
    Hope to be useful.
    Best regards,

  • Transfer within a company for zero value assets

    Hi experts,
I am transferring zero value assets (no acquisition cost, no depreciation, zero NBV) from 1 business area to another business area, therefore use tcode ABUMN (Transfer within company code) with transfer variant 4 (Transfer within a company code).
However, the transaction is not able to take place with the following error message:
"Retirement/transfer on asset xxxx 0 takes place with no values."
Actually in performing asset retirement, the same message appear, but it is just information (yello) and could be ignored (transaction still go through sucessfully).
Is there any configuration that needs to be done in order to perform retirement and asset transfer without error messages? Is there anything i need to enter when doing the transactions?
Your sharing will be very much appreciated.

    Hi Paul,
    Thanks !
In this case, the old asset will be showned as asset retirement instead of intracompany assets transfer. Is there any way to do a transfer for this type of transaction?

The setting is done in IMG

  • Import Package Supress zero Values

    Hi there,
I'm currently doing a Import from a txt file to BPC , but when I executed the Import Package, all the accounts that have a zero value are suppressed when the data is imported to the FACT2<appname>.
Is there any way to avoid  the import package from doing that ?
    Regards,
    Alan

    Hi Alan,
As already specified, It will not import the 0 value if the record is a new record completely.
The records with 0 values can be considered in a different way. Whenever, it encounters a record with 0 value, it will first search in the 3 fact tables, if the same record is already present or not. If the same record is already available, lets say with the value of 200. Then, it will post only the delta value, that is -200. If the same record is not present earlier, then it will neglect the record.
    Hope you got the point.

  • In ColumnChart, how to stop displaying small column for zero value?

I'm trying to create a ColumnChart that does not display a column when the value is zero. The chart currently looks like this:
This is a stacked column chart with red values representing Faults and green values representing Throughput. Each hour has an explicit value of zero for Faults. I don't want to see any red lines when the value is zero. Is there any way to accomplish this?

                                        </mx:series>
                                     </mx:ColumnChart>

    Answered my own question!!
The solution is to set the stroke for the ColumnSeries to {noStroke}, which I defined like this:
        <mx:Stroke id="noStroke" color="0xFFFFFF" weight="0"/>
Note that if you define {noStroke} without a color property, black is used by default, which means that those columns that do appear show up in black stroke outline.
If there's a more elegant solution to the problem, please let me know...

  • Import PO for Vendors on a Free Trade Zone

    Hello Gurus,
A Free trade zone is an area inside a Country where companies trade with foreign and local clients, but when working with local clients an import process must be made, i.e. customs, nationalization, etc.
When creating a PO for a plant in a country and a vendor in a different country, the order is treated as an import order with all the information needed for the importation process.
How can it be made that when placing a PO order in a country, lets say, Mexico, and the vendor is located in Mexico but inside a Free trade zone, the order has the necessary fields to provide e.g. Commodity Import Codes, Customs, Country of origin, etc.?
Thanks in advance for your comments,
    Nelson.

For your requirement to be fulfilled, you need to create new fields in PO header in a new tab namely CUSTOMER DATA/Additional data, and then whenever Import PO is made, maintain those fields accordingly.

  • Pricing Procedure for Zero rated customer

    Hi Experts,
Good day, We have an urgent issue in which the my client is selling taxable goods, but certain customers are so called "zero rated" in which no tax should be applied to them even if the material is taxable.
Gross price (with tax) will be the price of the goods and the system should automatically deduct from here the tax. Would it be possible to make a pricing procedure with tax but no accounting document would be created for that tax amount? I tried to make it statistical but it does not compute the price net of vat  amount (gross less tax).
    Sample
    Gross Price with Tax
    1000
    Tax
    107.14
    Price Net of VAT
    892.86
Discount (1% of Price Net of VAT)
    8.93
    Net Price
    883.93
    Accounting Entry:
    Debit Accounts Receivable
    883.93
    Debit Discount
    8.93
    Credit Sales
    892.86
Kindly assist me in finding the right pricing procedure.
    Regards,
    Beloved One

    Debit Accounts Receivable
    883.93
    Debit Discount
    8.93
    Credit Sales

    Why two debits??
Normally at the time of invoice--

    VAT/CST Account Cr
Cenvat Suspense Account Cr(If these goods are excisable)

  • Export/Import Procedure for Foreign Trade

    Dear all,
Could you please explain me the field "Export procedure"?
This can be found in the delivery:
    Transaction: VL03n --> Item --> Foreign Trade/ Customs --> Origine / Destination / Business
I know how the default value of this field is found. What I have to know, is the outcome of changing these value. Is this field only for statistical/ information reasons or is there a link to an other function?
    Thanks,
    Thomas

    Dear Thomas,
The field is meant for indicating the customs procedure into which the goods are to be entered (eg. export or reexport, outward processing). It is part of official customs declaration forms in the EC ("Single Administrative Document"/SAD). Like the other fields on the tab page "Foreign Trade/Customs", it is generally only needed in case of cross-border sales/deliveries. The content of these fields is stored in table EIPO which is usually referenced by the billing document. In case of an export, for example, you could issue the customs declaration based on these and other billing document data. (Nowadays, export declarations are to be filed electronically in the EC. The data are thus transferred to either SAP GTS or a third-party software.)
And yes, they are in parts also relevant to export statistics.

    Christiane

  • Security concern/ application concerns and procedures for zeroing all data

    Hi,
I've looked through the posts and can't find the answers to my questions so here goes:
I've had a MacBook Pro for about a year, and I may have to return it to my employer. In an effort to prepare the machine and make sure my information can't be accessed once it is returned I have read that the proper thing to do is zero all data (I have read the MAC how-to page on the process).
I was told that zeroing all data will remove my files and access to trashed items after I give it back to my employer, but I have a few concerns:
    1. I have an external hard drive with more than enough room to transfer my files, but what exactly does everyone mean by "all my files"? Just my personal files in the various applications like iPhoto, iTunes, and even My Documents, or are there others as well?
    2. Although I have the DVD/CD that came with the machine, there were additional software applications installed by the administrator at my place of work (Office - Power Point etc). Do these things get removed when I zero data or will they still be there?
    3. Lastly, is it true that you should zero up to three times to make sure your data is inaccessible? I know it will take about 24 hours to do approx. 20 gb's....
    Thanks so much in advance,
    Goldilox

I have an external hard drive with more than enough room to transfer my files, but what exactly does everyone mean by "all my files"?
Well what do you mean by all your files? Usually all your things will be in your home folder, so as long as you have enough space to contain that, you'd be okay.
Although I have the DVD/CD that came with the machine, there were additional software applications installed by the administrator at my place of work (Office - Power Point etc). Do these things get removed when I zero data or will they still be there?
Zeroing data happens at the drive device level, so everything on that volume will be gone. It's akin to formatting.
Lastly, is it true that you should zero up to three times to make sure your data is inaccessible? I know it will take about 24 hours to do approx. 20 gb's....
It depends who you're worried the attacker is. For most people, zeroing a few times will be enough to prevent them ever retrieving the data. Very expensive specialised data recovery equipment can still recover data from a zeroed drive, though... so if you're afraid of the police, or the FBI, or the NSA, then you're better off physically shredding the hard drive.

  • Posting Zero Value to Unrestricted Stock

    Hi Gurus,
I'm having some trouble posting zero value materials to unrestricted stock. Is there any restrictions on doing this? if so, are there any work arounds?
I've tried marking an item in the PO as "free goods" but when I do the G/R, the items are not showing in stock.
Also, I seem to be having some problems with the material type classification UNBW.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks

    Hi
If you use UNBW material for free items PO, then it will ask for account assignment and once you do GR the stock will be posted to respective account.
You can not see the stock in unrestricted stock.
You can create the material of material type FERT with zero value and you can raise PO with free items checked.Once you receive the goods, Quantity will be updated in unrestricted stock and value will be zero.
