  • Transfer SMS from Nokia phone iPhone

    Hi Guys,
I just changed from Nokia N97 mini to iPhone 4S. Anyhow I mannaged maigrate all my contact and calender entries to my new iPhone 4S, but the problem I'm facing that I cannot transfer SMS from Nokia phone iPhone.
Did anyone found the solution for this?

    No. You can't.

  • My nano SIM works in my Nokia mobile phone but "No SIM" when in my iPad mini

I've been around the support loop a few times with varying levels of success, here is my story.
Basically I expect to only occasionally require mobile data services so would like to move my nano SIM from my Nokia mobile phone to the iPad mini as and when required. I have a 500Mb data allowance on my current contract with Vodafone UK which I never use but would like to access with my iPad mini.
The first time I tried it worked! I never tried to surf using it but it registered with Vodafone UK OK and had a good signal level. The second time “No SIM” or “SIM not installed” popup at bootup.
Now irrespective of contracts, tariffs, data plan etc I expect the iPad mini to recognise there as being a SIM present every time and never give “No SIM” except of course when there isn’t one physically in the thing.
Playing along to support and forum suggestions I’ve done a couple of device resets (software reinstalls) and various setting resets. But still “No SIM”.
I’ve also spoken with Vodafone UK and am investigating whether this is in fact some restriction where they’ve restricted the technology so SIM swapping is not allowed. My Nokia E51 is not locked as have had it years.
I just cannot get past the “No SIM” message though!

Do have the details as to why that is?
The single time it recognised the nano SIM and showed as being connected to Vodafone UK I tried to ring it to see what would happen, it just rang out until voicemail picked up but nothing happened on the iPad mini whatsoever.

  • Lifestreaming to my iweb page from a mobile phone

Wondering if I can use my Nokia N95 to post directly to my iWeb page. I'd like to be able to add photos, short text entries, video, etc. Can i do that directly from a mobile phone, or only via iWeb?
Ideally, I'd like it to be as easy as posting photos to my Flickr account from my phone.
Thanks for any suggestions and tips.

After you open Firefox, go to "Preferences" and there's an option called Start Page, click on "Custom Page". From there, you can set your home page there.
FYI, You can download the FF4 now, unless you want to stay with the beta version.

  • How i can recover deleted sms from nokia 3603

    Hi
can any one help how to recover deleted sms from nokia 3603. any idea
    please i need your support?
    does Nokia provide this service?
    please hellllllllllp me
    thanks all

Unfortunately it's not possible for the user or nokia to recover deleted messages.
If you haven't been using the phone you could google for data recovery services in your country but they are not cheap. Also the process of recovering the data will most likely destroy the phone. If you've been using the phone for SMS messages then it's most likely too late for specialists to recover them.

  • How Can I send SMS to a Mobile Phone within Oracle

How Can I send SMS to a Mobile Phone within Oracle

It depends on how you are planning to use this feature.
You can set up a mobile using special software in order to interface to it programatically - you can then, via this software interface, use this mobile to send SMS's.
Some service providers support an e-mail interface. Where you send the SMS as a the e-mail content and the mobile number as the recipient's address, or as the subject of the e-mail. However, many service providers have long since stopped providing this type of mail interface due to abuse. Remember that service providers are there to make money - not offer one a service via bulk SMS's can be send.
Some service providers have dial-up servers that works like the old style bulletin board systems (BBS's) of the 90's. You use a telnet like interface, dial into this BBS, and is prompted for mobile number, message to deliver, and even delivery confirmation. You can expect the cost of this phone call to this system, to also cover the cost of sending the SMS.
Some companies provide a software server to interface with one or more service providers - this allows you to fairly easily use this server gateway to send SMS's for you. Such a gateway server will typically support a telnet interface - allowing you to send SMS's via it from inside PL/SQL.
I've used all these options, and I've found the best one to be the last option. It is the easiest to use from a programming perspective. It comes with various management and reporting tools. So you need to do the very minimal in managing this whole SMS interface.

  • How do I import photos from my i-phone 4 to my home computer?

How do I import photes from my i-phone 4 to my home computer?

on PC, when your phone is plugged in to the computer, open up Computer and your phone will appear as any USB/external hard drive would. Then you can copy and paste on to your computer.  I am a little new to MAC and the only way i know how is to open iphoto and import from there. You can then select all the photos you want in in iphoto and drag them in to a folder that youd like to have them and they will copy automatically
    Hope this helps

  • Can I Use Skype Free Minutes From a Mobile Phone

Can you use Skype free minutes (provided with Office365) to call FROM a mobile phone? When I check the free minutes online, I see that they are active on my Skype account, but my Android mobile app does not show any Skype credit?

If your iPad Mini is a cellular model, you can use Skype (and buy a block of minutes). If only wireless, you can also use Skype on a wireless connection. It saved the day when I forgot my iPhone and needed to make a call. Skype sells phone numbers, but I've never gone that route.

  • Skype translator exist from Windows Mobil Phone ??...

Skype translator exist from Windows Mobile Phone an Microsoft 8.1 Mobile ???

I've been having exactly the same problem. I think I finally figured it out.
I use my Microsoft account for Skype. It has an email address that is different from the one I used to register for the Translator Preview.  So I just re-registered for the Skype Translator Preview using my Skype (microsoft) email address. Now I wait, but I'm willing to bet that they are using email addresses to enroll us. And if they don't match, you get this "not activated" message.
It seems so obvious to me now. But I think a little explaination about the email would be in order on the registration page.
    I hope this helps,

  • Importing from a mobile phone - specifically Nokia E65

I can connect my E65 to my Mac Pro (it registers on the appropriate USB hub). It is neither recognised by the Operating system nor by the application (iPhoto). I recognise that the problem is due to compatibility. Has anyone found a successful solution - plug in? Has anyone started any kind of campaign to get Nokia and Apple to collaborate? What I would like is full compatibility, as Nokia provide for their Microsoft users (PC Suite), but I recognise this is being somewaht hopeful! I look forward to any responses - if any. Kind regards...

    TD
Thank you for the helpful suggestion and the welcome. Yes, I have previously downloaded that plug-in and it did get the phone recognised for iSync purposes. At least it is a partial success, it seems to work ok with my MBP but not so well with my MP. By 'work' I mean connection through iSync fires off the 'PC Suite' software in the E65 and it receives and transfers data. I have not yet been able to refine the process sufficiently to work out how to get the phone only to transfer new entries and to Entourage (Entourage is included in the list of calendars to update on the MBP but only iCal 'home' and 'work' show on the MP), and not to duplicate old entries.
However, my issue now is to get iPhoto (or Aperture) to import pictures from the E65 (on the MP). I can plug the E65 USB connector in and it registers in the System Profiler USB Device Tree but it does not mount (I think this is the Mac term) on the desktop and neither iPhoto nor Aperture recognise it as a camera source.
The ideal will be for Nokia to produce a Mac version of its PC Suite but in the meantime I will give anything a try.
Thanks for your further considereation of my problem.
    Regards
    Wynn

    Sorry, no.

  • E65 - importing sms from 6300

I got an E65, and i got some important sms messages i want to move over from the old 6300 to the E65.
On the 6300 the messages are stored under the "my folders" section on the phone and not directly on the phone's inbox.
when making a backup of the 6300 using nokia pc suite, and then importing it to the E65, only messages from inbox and drafts are imported to the E65. calendar and contacts go smoothly over to.
When using the transfer tool on the E65 the same happens.
The only thing that works is if i copy the sms to the computer and then move them to "drafts" on the e65. But it would be nice if there was a way to move them to a folder on the E65 other than "drafts".
    Any solutions to this anyone?

You can open the .csv file using and text editor to check if the sender column is missing.
What's the law of the jungle?

  • How do i import sms from android

is there a how-to, how to import my sms from my old android phone? i didnt found any.

    Hi Tom,
There is a backup-restore.sh script for backing up and restoring Firefox OS data, but I am not aware of any tools available to import this data from other systems.
You may still try the script, but it's not guaranteed to work:
