Import Territories

Hi! Has any of you an idea of how could I import a list of territories? I couldn't see that option in Import and Export Tools area. Thank you, Delora.

Delora, at this time it is not possible to import territories using the import wizard. It is possible using web services.

  • 7.0.1 Hangs When Previewing Photos to Import

    Yesterday, my wife took about 1.1 GB of pictures with our D40x on a 4GB Extreme III SD card. These photos (about 250) were added to the ~150 already on the card.
    I have previously had no issues importing pictures from the card using a USB SD card reader (SanDisk MicroMate), but yesterday, when I plugged in the reader with the card, in the Import Preview screen (or whatever it's called where you can select which pictures to import), I get the spinning beach ball of death as iPhoto is trying to load the previews. The little light on the USB reader stays on as it would when it functions normally. An AppleOptionEsc combo shows that iPhoto is not responding. Killing the program helps as does pulling out the card reader in getting iPhoto to either quit or give me an error in iPhoto and running normally, respectively.
    I've not tried d/ling them directly from the camera as of yet but I have achieved two successful workarounds. First is to use my wife's MacBook Pro with the same processor and RAM that I have (2 GHz Core Duo + 1GB RAM). While it's slow to select and import, I get results with her computer. Or, I just mount the flash card, copy the images to my Desktop and then import to iPhoto.
    Both of these work-arounds are not very satisfying to me and I'm wondering if it's an issue of my hardware choking on the loading of previews for ~1.75 GB of Photos or an iPhoto software or hardware compatibility issue.
    Anybody else having this issue?
    Suggestions? Tonight I plan to try importing directly from the camera as well as trying this on my Mac Mini with a slower 1.66 GHz Core Duo. I'll post results if I discover anything interesting.

    Yeah - this sounds familiar.
    Just got back from a holiday with 611 photos. Plugged in my Canon Ixus 800 IS (also known as PowerShot SD700 IS Digital ELPH in some territories) with the photos on a SanDisk Extreme III 2 GB card - iPhoto launches, then hangs. I tried launching iPhoto first, then switching on the camera and it goes to the Importing screen and hangs again after the 'card busy' light on the camera flashes a few times before stopping.
    I worked around it by importing to a folder using Image Capture (which saw and imported the photos without any problems) and then importing from the folder to iPhoto but even this was problematic taking 10-20 seconds (!!!) to import each 3ish MB photo.
    Not good.

  • How to import multiple Excel/CSV columns into a single Sharepoint metadata choice column?

    Consider: I work for an organization that has eight service territories.  We have a series of procedural documents that can apply to from one to eight territories. We are moving this data over to sharepoint, and I'd like to add territory
    data as metadata. Unfortunately, with our current knowledge management system, the best we can get is 8 separate fields flagged as yes/no.

    I would like to be able to import this data into a SINGLE sharepoint metadata column as Choice/checkboxes/allow Multiple values. Is there a way to do this? We're using Foundations 2010, and our area does not have access to
    development tools (including SPD).

    Thanks for the reply. We have eight individual Columns in the Excel File, and when we do the import to Sharepoint, yes we get eight individual metadata columns.
    I would LIKE to be able to import the eight columns into ONE column in Sharepoint.

    Doc1 is information applicable to Territories 1,3 & 4.
    Doc2 is information applicable to Territories 4 & 5.
    Doc3 is information applicable to Territory 7.

    This metadata would import to a SINGLE column in SharePoint called IsTerritory, which is defined as a Checkbox (multiple values) Choice Field, limited to the values 1-8.
    Doc1 would have checkboxes 1,3, & 4 checked, Doc2 would have checkboxes 4 & 5 checked, and Doc 3 would only have checkbox 3 checked.
    Does that make a little more sense? I'm having problems validating my account, so I can't upload screenshots yet...

  • Import Vietnam Language

    Dear All;
    l have a SAP Ent 4.7 system and the users would like to use the Vietnam language.
    l check in SMLT, l try to add the language from the list however the Vietname language is not in the list. 
    Please advise:
    Can l add the Vietname language, if yes, does SAP provide the language CD to installation?
    And what locale to use for Vietnam language?
    l will assume it is MDMP for Ent 4.7 version for additional language, does SAP still support the MDMP?

    In my case, l am having SAP 4.7, non-Unicode system and want to use Vietnamese language,  based on what we understand , Vietnamese can use in SAP if the SAP in Unicode.
    However, l came across this Note 302063 - Correspondence Language, it said:
    ================== Begin Notes===================
    Reason and Prerequisites
    1. Customer needs to use different terms (texts) to describe the same
       item in same text format for different variants of one language
       (for instance English, there are British English, Australian
      English, Canadian English and American English as well);
    2. Customer needs to format the same text in different layouts for
       different variants of one language or for different territories
       or countries where people speak the same language but use
       different document formats, for instance, legal files or invoices;
    3. Customer needs to use an unsupported language in his/her system
       to create documents or forms.  And the unsupported language uses
       a code page which is configured in the system.  For example, a
       system, configured as a single code page system with English
       and Spanish (code page 1100) can have a Correspondence Language,
       Basque(code page 1100).
    Solution
    0. Concept
       0.1. To enable the handling for the situations outlined above, we
            introduced 'Correspondence Language'.
       0.2. Correspondence language is different from customer reserved
            language 'Z1' (see note 112065). Customer reserved language
            'Z1' is regarded as a fully supported language but not
            Correspondence language. Correspondence language can only be
            used for creating SAPscript standard texts, forms, and styles,
            not for other purposes.  For instance, it can not be
            used as a logon language.
       0.3. Correspondence Language in Unicode systems
            In a Unicode system, you can increase the number of available
            language keys. Note 42305 contains more information about this
            option (in the section 'How to extend the language list').
            Therefore, it is not generally necessary to set up the a
            correspondence language in a Unicode system.
            However, in the following cases a Correspondence Language must
            be set up as described in this note even in a Unicode system:
              o The language exists in a non-Unicode system, and you want to continue to use it after the upgrade to Unicode.
              o You need to exchange data in a system landscape between Unicode and non-Unicode systems, and the language key used for the data is a Correspondence Language key (see SAP note 871945).
    1. To customize the correspondence language
       you need to run reports 'RSCPCOLA' and 'RSCPINST'
      1.1 Run the report 'RSCPCOLA'
          The report is used to define/assign, redefine/reassign or delete
          correspondence language(s).
          To define or redefine a correspondence language, you need to
           1) select a correspondence language key,
              the valid correspondence language keys are
              Z2, Z3, Z4, Z5, Z6, Z7, Z8, and Z9;
           2) keyin the description of that language in
              'New langauge name' field;
           3) select a master language which you want to use as the
              process langauge of correpondence langauge.
              The master language select is important as it determines
              the language in which your system runs and thereby
              determines the character set and the sort order of
              the correspondence language. The master language must be
              one of the supported languages in your system.
          4) click 'Assign' button;
           5) at the confirmation step, choose 'Yes' when you really
              want to define it, otherwise choose 'No' or 'Cancel'.
    2. Attention
       2.1 Please be aware that correspondence language is not a fully
          supported langauge, see section 0.1;
       2.2 Before deleting or reassigning an existing correspondence
           language, you have to check manually whether there are some
          SAPscript forms, styles and standard texts defined with this
          language key are still in use.
       2.3 After R/3 database upgrade, due to the overwrite of tables,
           you have to run the report again to enable such handling.

    Does it mean l can just add the Vietnamese language using the report RSCPCOLA?

    Would anyone be able to help me with this one. I'm trying to import from a .dmp file and I'm getting this message ...
    Export file created by EXPORT:V09.00.01 via conventional path
    import done in WE8MSWIN1252 character set and AL16UTF16 NCHAR character set
    export client uses US7ASCII character set (possible charset conversion)
    The import is successful but the CLOBs are messed up, displaying question marks ('???')
    I've tried changing NLS_LANG a couple of times, but just get variations on the same error

    Does the import server refer to the character set of the database? If so, do I have to convert my entire database to import this data? CHARACTERSET to do this and have to do a full export/import .... not clear on this .... how do I convert character set before re-importing? Is there any easier way of importing this .dmp file?

  • Importing without unique field

    Hi All,
    We are into a project which deals with Harmonization of data from various systems.We extract the data from all ECC system and load them into MDM,do the matching merging and assign a unique number.
    Now our problem is while loading there is no unique field value given in the source file .So what we planned is to use the combination of all fields to act as unique and load the data.The source file does not contain and mandatory and unique value fields.
    After we do match merge in data manager we assign the unique number.So i wanted to know is this the correct way to use all the fields in MDM to import the data.Or is there any other solution for the same.I know that MDM performance will go down if combination of all fields is taken to import the records

    Here is the scenarion below
    Client wants to  combine all commercial operations worldwide and move to an integrated commercial team based on country, regional territories and global crops. Clients As-Is organization has independent operating divisions within each country or region. Each division have their own SAP ERP systems  and hence this does not provide an integrated view of its customer data.
    As a first step, it wants to enable existing reporting system to do reporting on integrated customer view by harmonizing customer records across multiple SAP platforms
    So the cleansed data is not sent to any ERP system but instead it is sent to BW for reporting.So IDOC type wont be a factor here.Please correct me if I am wrong here.
    There is a  main table and a tuple.Main table contains address data and Tuple contains only the customer number and source system( like form which system it is ).So no question of key field inaddress table as none of the field has mandated value.
    Secondly at first instance we load around 650000 records of cleansed records.We wont perform any matching merging on this.
    Here the importing is not a problem because unique number will be provided.
    Then when the delta records of around 5000 to 6000 records  comes which does not have unique value field we load this using the combination of all 30 fields.
    Here was the question like first we have aroung 650000 records in data manger and when we try to load the delta records with with combination of 30 fields still the performance will be stable and good or will it affect?
    Now we cannot have any keyfields defined in respective ERP systems.
    Please provide the guidance am i going in correct direction or do we have any other solution

  • How do I import short 'clips' from a DVD of a commercial film into I-Movie?

    Hi, tech wizards!
    I have a copy of a commercial film on a DVD. I teach this film in my class, and want to 'snip' the pertinent parts of the film from the DVD and put them into Keynote -- to do that I need to, I believe, first transfer these 'snips' to iMovie. Leaving aside copyright questions (hey, I'm just a teacher!) does anybody know how to do this?
    Right now I'm just playing the movie on my apple DVD player, and trying to figure out how to 'snip' the pertinent clips, and transfer them to i-Movie clips.

    Thank you for your response.But I think my quesition was not clear.My ques... is for suppose there is one datafile for importing like.. "datafile_21" Here my intention is it takes file from datafile_21 only but it appears in import statement like datafile_21<<curmon>>.
    import database sample.sample data from data_file "c:\\ABC\datafile_21_AUG.txt" using server rules_file datafile on error abort;
    In this it takes datafile from datafile_21.But it appears like datafile_21_AUG in import statement.This AUG coming from batch file.

    No it is not possible.
    I assume the data file "datafile_21" is first renamed to datafile_21_${CurrMth} in the batchscript.
    After that this data file *datafile_21_${CurrMth}* is pointed in the import statement.
    In the logs you will see this file as datafile_21_Aug.

  • Can not refresh snapshot changes after importing data of master site

    I have two database computer,one as master site,one as snapshot site.Because the error of the hard disk of master computer,I use the exporting data file to recover my database.after importing ,I found I can't refresh the refreshgroup on snapshot,who can tell me why?

    You haven't listed the errors that you're receiving when attempting to refresh your refresh group, but if your snapshots are attempting to fast refresh, I suspect it's because the creation timestamp of the snapshot log on the master site is newer than the creation timestamp of the snapshot. In this case you will need to do a complete refresh of the snapshot (or drop and recreate the snapshot) before you will be able to fash refresh it again.
    If this is not the case, please post the errors you are receiving when you attempt to refresh the refresh group.

    Hi Every one,
         I am importing FA in SAP B1 PL 09 but failed, with system message log " Its active depreciation areas must be the same as those defined in the corresponding asset class. I checked depreciation areas and asset class, They corresponded to each other.
         Please help me to find way to solve this error.

  • Importing CD / adding folder goes to wrong folder

    iTunes 9.0.1.8
    Under preferences my iTunes media folder is set to "C:\iTunes" and up until recently all imported CD's and files went into that folder under the relevant artist name.
    Now, however, when importing they go to a new folder called "C:\iTunes\Music" - I didn't create this folder - how do i stop this and get it back to my original preference?
    Any help appreciated

    Same problem, installed latest iTunes yesterday to Vista.
    Import folder is defined as default iTunes-folder (C:\<user>\Music\iTunes\iTunes Library) but it still creates a folder "Music" under this and then <artist>\<record> under this one. If I modify the default folder, it creates the import under that one, but not ever into correct iTunes Library-folder.
    What gives?
