Importance of section key in Pallet strategy

Hello gurus,
we have implimented pallet strategy and in pallet we define a section key and now sections.
Can any body please tell me what is the importance of section key, I observed that we can give section key A or 1 also.
In sap help they has return that section key will decide what kind of SUT how many SUTs is possible for storage bin type.
If I give "A" what is significance or if I give 1 or 2 i.e. numeric number how it will work.please give me clarity
your help will be apprriciated.

Hi,
It generally has no significance if you use A or 1 (a letter or a number). This entry simply defines the sectioning, so what bin coordinate that subsection will have (and actually you can enter here anything you want, also #*$%&, if it makes sense or not).
The important thing is if you use different sectionings for a bin, depending on the storage unit type. Because probably you will have the sections labelled. So different namings will help you to identify them when you stand in front of a shelf.

How do I remove an entry from the "Store Files" drop down list in the "Import Settings" section of Aperture 3.3.2

The dropdown list "Store Files" in the "Import Settings" section of Aperture 3.3.2 displays the history of the entries previously added to the list. Some of the entries are no longer valid and I'm trying to delete them but I can't find a way to do this. This is a screenshot. Does anyone know how to do this?

Is the MacOS X version in your signature correct? Then you cannot be using Aperture 3.3.2?
You should not be seeing duplicate entries in the "Store Files" pop-up menu. This looks like your Aperture Preferences file is corrupted and needs fixing.
Quit Aperture (and log off and on again, if you are running MacOS X 10.7 or later)
Then reveal your User Library (from the Finder's main menu bar, the "Go" menu. Hold down the options-key until the library apears in the drop-down menu)
In the Library folder select the "Preferences folder and locate the file "~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.Aperture.plist"
Now you can either
remove the com.apple.Aperture.plist file to the Desktop, to force Aperture to create a new one, but you will have to set again your Preferences from the "Preferences" panel,
or make a backup copy of the file and edit it, if you are an experienced programmer and have Xcode installed. To fix the drop-down list you need to edit the item "RecentReferenceFolders" and delete the redundant folder names. Enter "recent" into the search field to find it quickly. If you click an item in the list, plus/minus buttons should appear. But only try this, if you know how to edit property lists, otherwise it will be much safer to delete the faulty list and to set your preferences again from the "Preferences" panel.

How to import a Migration key in a Portal System.

Hi,
We have a Portal System (Only Java Stack) and we have changed the existing Installation number of the System to a new one in Marketplace. We have received a new License key and Migration Key from SAP. I have imported the License Key in the System using Visual Administrator tool - Licensing Adapter.
Now, i dont know what to do with Migration Key. In the Note 816861, it is only written about ABAP stack systems.
Please help.

You don't need the migration key.. It's only for ABAP.

Import Manager Remote Key issue

Dear All,
I have imported all the records from R3 system in Material repository. Since the full MATMAS xmls were of bigger size I devided it into 5 ports MARA, MARC, MARM, MVKE, MBEW.
Now while importing MARA, remote key was not mapped by mistake.
But we want local Material numbers (i.e. material numbers from R3).
so now do i need to reimport everything again or is there any workaround to it.

I feel is the right way to go about with the scenario when you have to deal with remote sytems and remote keys.
To explain:
When ever you are importing data from an external system you need to maintain a remote key which will identify that these set of records are coming from a differnt remote system.
For this we use Remote sytem mapping.
The unique key of the incoming source file is to be mapped with the remote key in the destination side in Import manger.
This remote key will then act as your primary key and can be used in the matching field tab.
The unique key then can be cloned to map it with its correcponding field in the MDM rep.
Eg Material no -> Remote key
Material no(cloned) -> Material no
Then when you syndicate these field you need to do proper mapping in the syndicator for the remote sytem and then on your local id will be store in the value field and global id in the remote key field

For IMPORT Keyword :---
To retrieve data from the global memory area, use the IMPORT statement. The most basic form of the IMPORT statement is:
IMPORT <variable> FROM MEMORY.
To give the variable a different name in your program from what it is called in the global memory area, use the TO clause. You must define the local variable name with a DATA statement in your program. The format is:
IMPORT <global var> TO <program var> FROM MEMORY.
As with the EXPORT statement, you can specify multiple variables per statement, and you have the option of specifying which cluster ID you wish to import from.
After each IMPORT statement, SY-SUBRC is set to indicate whether or not the cluster ID you specified exists (but not whether specific variables were imported specifically). SY-SUBRC is zero if the cluster exists.
It is also possible to IMPORT and EXPORT to database tables .
ABAP memory that is used to store exported data is user and transaction specific, so when passing data between programs in this manner you must make sure that transaction boundaries are not crossed. Otherwise the contents of this memory will get destroyed and will not be available to the importing program.
For Export Keyword :---
The EXPORT statement moves data from your program into a global memory area. The most basic form of the EXPORT statement is:
EXPORT <variable> TO MEMORY.
This places the specified variable into a global memory area that another program can later read using the IMPORT statement.
You may specify multiple fields in the same EXPORT statement. For example:
EXPORT KNA1-KUNNR KNA1-BUKRS TO MEMORY.
You can give variables a different name in the global memory area using the FROM clause. For example, the following code exports SY-SUBRC and gives it the name RETVAL in the global memory area:
EXPORT RETVAL FROM SY-SUBRC TO MEMORY.
You can specify a cluster ID when exporting data to memory. You can freely choose the name of the cluster ID, which can be up to 32 characters long. Each cluster ID specifies a particular area in memory. Each time you EXPORT data to the same cluster ID, all data previously written to that ID is erased. For example:
EXPORT SY-SUBRC TO MEMORY ID u2018LJS1u2019.

Error while importing CSR into key storage?

Dear All,
I am trying to implement the SSL certificates on our production server. I have generated the CSR from Visual Admin --> Key Storage. I forwarded it to CA and got the certificate response also. Now while importing the certificate into key storage, it is giving me following error:
The private ket pair doesnt match the certificate response file: Invalid PKCS#1 padding, no leading zeros.
What can be the cause and probable solution on this issue? Any help on this will be highly appreciated. Kindly reply..

Hi,
I resolved this error by making it sure that there are no extra spaces or unwanted caracter copied while copying the certificate response from the CA. Make sure you are copying the certificate response properly. In my case, some extra space was getting copied so after re-copyinf it properly, it worked.

Correct Import Server Registry Key

Zenworks 6.5, Zen 6.5 agent on the local workstation.
I have been troubleshooting some issues with workstation import at several
schools. I need to import the workstations to each schools container, so I
push the registry key to the workstation for the import server IP.
I am pushing this key HKLM/SOFTWARE/Novell/ZENworks/ZENWSREG with the
string value ImportServer = x.x.x.x
I have a local admin who has tried this (upgrade from Zen 4.x to Zen 6.5)
and hasn't been able to get it to work. He has configured another registry
key, and it does seem to work.
This is the other key - HKLM/SOFTWARE/Novell/Workstation Manager/Import
Server with the value as the IP address for the import server.
I thought the ZENWSREG key was the correct key, and everything I have read
on the forum indicates this.
Any ideas why the Workstation Manager key works and the ZENWSREG key
doesn't?

Thanks Jared. That's what I thought. This particular school has other
issues, including Clean Slate which blocks writing to both the HD and
Registry.
I'll post back if I find anything interesting.

Can not import imges to key note

Morning all,
I'm having a problem with key note on my iPad. Can can import tables charts ect, but when itry and add an image from my photos, it won't add. When I select the image, it darkens the image so showing the one i have selected, but then does nt add it, just leave the select box open.
Any rhombus, as this is driving me mad.
As I said, I can add all the other things, it's just mede a that is failing.

How long did you wait? If you're using large photos, it may take a few seconds to copy the photo over and scale it to size. Try something small, e.g. a screenshot taken on the iPad.
Heh, I just tried it with some 12 megapixel photos and Keynote crashed after about 6 seconds. Oh well ...

Data Modeler 3.0 EA1: Import deferrable foreign key

Importing from Data dictionary. Table has a deferrable initially deferred foreign key constraint.
Example:
create table didf( id number constraint didf_pk primary key deferrable initially deferred
, didf_id constraint didf_didf_fk references didf deferrable initially deferred
);Only primary key constraint is imported as deferrable.
didf_didf_fk is NOT DEFERRABLE in DDL Preview. Also after merge to a model the foreign key in physical model is not deferrable.

Suddenly iMovie will not import certain sections of video

I have a MacBook Pro with 4GB of memory. I've been working on an imovie project and have been importing video into it without problems until last night. It just won't import that last 4 minutes of video. Is this a lack of memory? The MAC says "all memory slots are full."
I'm not very tech wise, so if you could answer in humanize I would appreciate it.

I should add that there are 7 sections of film. When I play it from archive on the cpu all 7 play. After importing over to imovie, only 6 are showing in thumbnails.

Log and Transfer import wrong section.

When I import video using Log and Transfer sometimes the video imported it is not the same as the section I marked. What could this be?

Thank you for your response. The problem is not that I can't find the imported footage - the clips import into my project. I have a lot of footage (interviews) so I am picking out sections to import so as not to have to import entire hour-long clips. In Log and Transfer I mark in and out points and then import. Sometimes this works fine but sometimes the clip that I import does not match up with what I thought I had marked in L&T. So for example, in L&T I mark the In and Out around someone saying "XXX" but then once its imported its a different part of the interview "YYY". I though the problem was with the cursor (because it also sometimes acts wierd and won't go to the spot I click on or drag it too - others seem to have encountered this problem too. So I went through the video and wrote down the Ins and Outs for the sections I wanted and entered them in manually. Still, the sections imported did not match.
I hope this clarifies my question.

Can Keynote import alpha or Key?

I want to key the background in a video and wonder if it is possible to import this into Keynote?

Does your slideshow have animation in any of the slides? Are you using a unique transition between slides?
One way to get the slideshow into a MMe Gallery is to select all of the pages and do a Print ➙ PDF ➙ Save PDF to iPhoto. This will create a jpeg of each slide in the slideshow and import it into an iPhoto album. There you can create a MobileMe Gallery with those files.
Another is to export the slideshow as a QT movie file, import it into iPhoto and create a MMe gallery with that movie file.

OK. First - PLEASE learn how to use the [ code ] tags when posting samples. I didn't even realize you'd posted two classes until I tried to paste 'em into Eclipse.
Second - you're...confused. Crypting and Decrypt need to share two things: the ciphertext, and the KEY. The key is not available from the AlgorithmParameters. In Decrypt, you're creating a new key from your ciphertext (?!?)
Since I had a little spare time, I refactored your code somewhat. The only reason to use AlgorithmParameters is to pass in an InitialValue (IV), which CBC-mode needs. The IV is not sensitive data - it's OK to make it public.
So I just stuck the same IV into both files. You can extend the concept and store the IV as well, if you like.
