Important email was deleted when I archived it. How can I recover it?

It does not save in the trash folder in my IPhone or in my desktop Gmail? Not the archived or ALLMAIL folders. What can I do?
Surely, nothing is truly deleted and this important email can be recovered....god, i hope!

Place the iOS device in Recovery Mode and then connect to your computer and restore via iTunes. The iPod will be erased.

If recovery mode does not work try DFU mode.

If you restore from iCloud backup the apps will be automatically downloaded. If you restore from iTunes backup the apps and music have to be in the iTunes library since synced media like apps and music are not included in the backup of the iOS device that iTunes makes.

You cannot, unless they were there at last backup.  You can try restoring from backup, losing anything done since the last sync.

  • I-tunes Library was deleted, contents is on Ipod, how can I get back to lib

My I-tunes Library was deleted, All contents is on Ipod, how can I get all my music back into my library? Is it possible?

There is another way to retreive music from your iPod when it has been accidently deleted from your PC (I don't own a Mac, so cannot help there)which doesn't involve buying rip-off software. This is a very basic thing to do and following the instructions below, it is something a novice can do - tested it on my wife who is a total technophobe (and I hope you appreciate the moaning I got from forcing her to test it lol)
First change the settings in iTunes that automatically sync the iPod with the current iTunes library (or you will end up with a blank iPod too!)by clicking on "Manually manage songs and playlists" and also click on "Enable disk use". These are on the "iPod" tab within the preferences on iTunes (click on "Edit" then on "Preferences").
Next, double-click on "My Computer" and then on the iPods icon, which shows as a removable drive. In the iPod folder you now have on screen, click on "Tools" and then on "Folder Options". Now click on the "View" tab and then look for "Hidden files and folders". Just under that is an option to "Show hidden files and folders"
Now you have done all that - now comes the part where you recover all that music!
You should now see a folder called "iPod_Control". That is where your music folder is hidden. Now you have to add the Music folder within the "iPod_Control" folder to your library using iTunes itself....
First close iTunes down and then run it again. Click on "Edit" and then "Preferences", click on the "Advanced" tab and make sure that the "Keep iTunes Music folder organised" tab and the "Copy files to iTunes Music folder when adding to library" tab are both ticked and click on "OK".
Next, click on "File" then click on "Add Folder to library". You need to point iTunes at the "Music" folder on your iPod, to do this scroll down the locations until you see "My Computer", click on it and then look through the locations for the iPod and click on that. Next, click on "iPod_Control" and finally onto "Music".
Now click on "OK" and prepare to wait for quite a while while iTunes recovers your music.
When you have finished that, you should tidy up by returning a few settings back to their original places. Just go back through the process and re-hide hidden folders (open "My Computer" and click on "Tools", "Folder Options", then the "View" tab. Change the "Hidden files and folders" to "Do not show" and click on "OK". Lastly, in iTunes, click on "Edit", "Preferences", "iPod" and change the setting to "Automatically update all songs and playlists", then untick the "Enable disk use"and click on "OK"

  • I recently had problems logging in to a website. Was advised by the website admin to delete all cookies - big mistake - how can i recover my cookies. i can not log in to many of my favourite websites and log in details have gone

I think i have said it all in the question. i am running on Windows XP and have downloaded the latest version of Firefox. Can nay one help me please? My computer is a mess

Thank you for the links. I have tried all the steps described including re-syncing system time, which I had done even before I posted my question here. The problem
remains. I still cannot log in to UHRS.
The problem occurs only in IE on my computer. In Chrome or in IE on my husband's computer (we are both using IE 11) there is no such issue.
Well, in that case. Try this:-
Go to: www.live.com and log out if you are signed in to your UHRS cw-email adress. (Do NOT save your UHRS password, otherwise you have to do this everytime.) Log in to your UHRS account again.
If still not, then try this:-
    Please see: What
to do when Internet Explorer isn't working.
    See: "How
    to Reset Internet Explorer settings".
    If the issue persists...
    1. Please download and run the Microsoft
    Safety Scanner tool (freeware).
    2. Reboot your PC.
    3. Please download and update Malwarebytes Anti-Malware
    Free
    4. Reboot Windows in Safe
    Mode and run a Full
    Scan with Malwarebytes Anti-Malware.
    If still no joy...
    5. Download and Run AdwCleaner, RogueKiller and Junkware
    Removal Tool (Freeware)
    6. Reboot and Test.
If still same then can you tell me from when it started happening ? Like which thing did you installed/modified last time from when this problem started ?

  • Deleted garageband demo by acident - how can I recover

I just started using garageband (downloaded via app store on ipad) on my new ipad2 and accidently deleted the demo song that comes preloaded. I've tried resetting the ipad but when i reinstall garageband it looks like it is a back up copy and doesn't have the demo song.
Any ideas how I get the demo song back or how to wipe clean gargeband and do a fresh reinstall

    igmackenzie wrote:
Actually, there is an easier way.  If you go to Settings and scroll down to Garageband, you'll see the option to 'Restore Demo Song and Sampler files'.
Oh. Yes. Well. I really hate people who know more than me (it means there's a LOT of people on my hate list)

  • Icloud has deleted my Numbers documents. How can I recover these?

I have two spreadsheets in Numbers that I have been using for several months. I opened Numbers the other day and all my documents are gone. They are not in icloud either. This concerns me. I thought icloud was supposed to "back up" all my documents. Now I'm concerned that I might lose pictures, contacts and other information. If anyone knows how I can recover the documents please let me know. This has me baffled. This happened before the recent update.

You will have to restore the bookmarks from a JSON backup. That will replace all current bookmarks.

  • Accidentally deleted a calendar ... how can I recover it?

I foolishly tried to reorganize some of my calendars by moving events to a different calendar. I say foolishly because I failed to export my calendars before I started this process.
At one point I attempted to delete a calendar that I had emptied but too late I realized I had deleted the wrong one. I then tried to Undo the delete of the calendar but although it restored the calendar it did not restore the events in the calendar. I know that there are problems replacing calendars so I want to be careful in order to recover the events. I have a backup of the iCal folder from this morning which would be current enough but what is the best way to restore it. I used ChronoSync to copy the folder to an external HD.
    Help!

    Not an issue anymore

  • How can I recover deleted photos without iTunes backup, How can I recover deleted photos without iTunes backup

I am a new user to the ipad  Purchased a mini.  Took prom pictures and promptly deleted them from my Camera Roll.  I have not backed up to iTunes.  Is there a way to recover them from my mini?

Even if you haven’t backed up your iPad with iTunes manually, iTunes might have backed up it automatically each time you sync your iPad with iTunes. If you have enabled iCloud, every time, your iPad is connected to Wifi and a power source, and the screen is locked, iCloud will automatically backup your photos. So try to restore the deleted photos from iTunes or iCloud backup first if the backups were created before the deletion.
    http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1766
If you don’t want to restore your iPad with an out-of-date backup, erase all the content and settings on your iPad, and go back to an older iOS version, try to extract your iPad photos from your iTunes or iCloud backup with the iPhone backup extractor.
Other than restoring from iTunes or iCloud backup, there are still at least 3 other solutions for you to recover deleted photos on iPhone (also works for iPad):
    Extracting from previous iTunes backup;
    Retrieving directly from iPhone;
    Copying from other backups.

  • How can I recover only 1 Note deleted from my iPhone 4S

I accidentally deleted 1 important note from my Notes and it got sync'd so it's deleted from all devices.
How can i recover that note? My iPhone was backed up and that note is probably in the back up, but i don't want to restore the entire device to that back up.
Is there a way to recover just one deleted note?

Sorry, restore from backup is all or nothing deal.

If you have the original receipts, you can take them to an Apple Store and they may be able to remove the activation lock. A good lesson learned to have an employee clear a device when leaving.
