Imported files do not show up in the project menu

When I import files into a new folder I cannot locate them in the project menu. The files do not have a project path. They show up in the "last import" section though. What's wrong?

You cannot import files into an Aperture Folder. Folders hold containers (Folders, Projects, and Albums); they do not hold Images that are not in another container. Projects and Albums hold Images.
Right-click one of the Images shown in the "Last Import" Browser, and select "Show in Project" from the context menu. This should make that Project the active one, and show you which one it is by selecting it on the Library tab of the Inspector.

There have been some problems accessing pages on the Apple web site. If the hyperlink gives you a "We're sorry" message, try again.

If your problem persists get yourself a micro USB cable (sold separately), you can restore your Apple TV from iTunes:
Remove ALL cables from Apple TV. (if you don't you will not see Apple TV in the iTunes Source list)
Connect the micro USB cable to the Apple TV and to your computer.
Open iTunes.
Select your Apple TV in the Source list, and then click Restore.

An swf file does not show up in the website even though you can see it in preview and publish

I created a swf file from a mov file in Adobe Encoder. Thge movie shows up in Muse in both the preview and publish mode.
Does not show up in the webstie. The html file is in the assets foder and the swf file is in the image folder and the space is blank.
When i encoded the .mov file I saved it as FLV. Web 1920 x 1080, 16 x 9 5.4 Mbps is the setting for Flash Web Video when i encoded the file.

To see all the History and Cookie settings, select:
* Tools > Options > Privacy > History: Firefox will: "Use custom settings for history"
* Tools > Options > Privacy > History: [X] "Remember download history"

Could you please check in the Menu, if you have selected Menu type-> All Pages, Selecting Top level pages will hide Child pages from the menu.

Photos are not showing up in the edit menu

When I hit the edit button the photos all show up on the top of the screen but in the box they are not there to edit each individual photo. Please help, I need to edit my photos!

There are several possible causes for the Black Screen issue
1. Permissions in the Library: Back Up and try rebuild the library: hold down the command and option (or alt) keys while launching iPhoto. Use the resulting dialogue to rebuild. Include the option to check and repair permissions.
2. Minor Database corruption: Back Up and try rebuild the library: hold down the command and option (or alt) keys while launching iPhoto. Use the resulting dialogue to rebuild.
3. A Damaged Photo: Select one of the affected photos in the iPhoto Window and right click on it. From the resulting menu select 'Show File (or 'Show Original File' if that's available). (On iPhoto 11 this option is under the File -> Reveal in Finder.) Will the file open in Preview? If not then the file is damaged. Time to restore from your back up.
4. A corrupted iPhoto Cache: Trash the com.apple.iPhoto folder from HD/Users/Your Name/Library/ Caches...
5. A corrupted preference file: Trash the com.apple.iPhoto.plist file from the HD/Users/ Your Name / library / preferences folder. (Remember you'll need to reset your User options afterwards. These include minor settings like the window colour and so on. Note: If you've moved your library you'll need to point iPhoto at it again.)
If none of these help:
As a Test:
Hold down the option (or alt) key key and launch iPhoto. From the resulting menu select 'Create Library'
Import a few pics into this new, blank library. Is the Problem repeated there?

Panasonic DVX-100 audio sync tool not showing up in the tools menu

Using FCP 7 in new Mac Pro with a clean install. I following the directions for copying the DVX-100 audio sync file into the proper folder /Library/Application Support/Final Cut Pro System Support/Plugins/
The directions say the Offset Audio Sync command should now appear in the Tools menu. It does not.
I have tried trashing preferences - reinstall the Audio Sync Tool - but it still does not show up.
I use the Panasonic Camera and with my earlier editions of FCP I had no problem installing and using
the Audio Sync file.
Anyone have the same problem or know a solution?

I am not sure what's happening with IE9 (no live site) but I had real problems viewing your code in Live View - until I removed the HTML comment marked below. Basically your site was viewable in Design View but as soon a I hit Live view, it disappeared - much like IE9. See if removing the comment solves your issue.

Clips do not show up in the Project yet are present in timeline.

I have something weired going on. I have a timeline with a sequence that came from version 5.5 (had to ingest XML from FCP7 via PPro CS5.5 as the CS6 is too buggy and will not work with complex XML handling).
I have a few clips that are present in the timeline of the sequence and are playable, yet are not present in the project tab, making it impossible to project manage and to do offline workflows. When I click reveal in project nothing happens, manual search desn't do anything either.
Does anyone know anything about it?

You may not always be able to do things the way you want to do them, so if I can't solve the problem directly, I will usually suggest an alternate method that achieves the end goal - to get the job done so you can get paid. That alternate method may not be your preference, but if no one else can solve the problem either, it may be your only option. There is a total of three. I have tried many different ways, but can't get rid of them. They are not bookmarked on Firefox, but in the past there was a person on this computer that used my 'side' of the home computer without authorization. I will try erasing history next, other than that, haven't the slightest idea of how to get rid of them. I don't go to those sites, and want them gone (as does my wife).

A possible cause is a problem with the file places.sqlite that stores the bookmarks and the history.

Songs not showing up in the Music folder but in a playlist

Hi,
Something weird is happening with iTunes.
Just before upgrading to 10.5, I had a problem where after opening a M3U playlist from the finder, the playlist was added as a regular playlist.
I can play the songs, when I go in the Get Info of the file, I can see that the file has been copied to the iTunes Music folder.
But when I look for the new imported songs from the top Music Folder, then the songs don't show up.
I opened the iTunes Library XML file and the songs are correctly listed.
Any idea?

Sorry, just to clarify, this is my problem:
When I double click on a song from my computer, it plays in iTunes, but it is not copied into my music library. Also, when I import a audio cd, it imports but does not show up in the music library, nor can I click and drag it there or to my Iphone. In the past clicking on these tracks would automatically save it in my library. I noticed this problem last week perhaps after upgrading to iTunes 10.1.2.
Any help or advice is much appreciated. Thanks!

In the Event mode use the View ➙ Sort ➙ By Date ➙ Decending menu option. Then the latest imports will be near the top of the Event window (depending on when the photos were taken of course).
Or Control-Click on one of the thumbnails in the Last Import album and select Show Event from the contextual menu:
