Imported ics calendar does not appear in iCal on my iPhone

When I import an .ics calendar to my iCal as a new calendar - it ends up in my "on my mac"-list and not on my "apple-ID-list" which (I figure) is the reason why the imported calendars aren't showing up on my iPhone iCal. What I can I do to change this??

I couldn't import ics invitation received by email (in Mail). When I clicked on the ics invitation iCal was opening buy the ics invitation didn't appear.
Reading a few post I realized I could drag the ics invitation from from to iCal and then the invitation appeared into the "Waiting to confirm box" - on the right of the calendar button. By default is tried to sync using the "on my mac" account.
ANSWER:
I wasn't using this account, so I DELETED all my "on my mac" calendars and iCloud calendar is now my default. From now on all my ics invitation are imported into iCal AND they sync flawlessly to my other device (iPhone 5 and iPad 4) and to people sharing this calendar.

Event created on iPhone does not appear in iCal

When I create an event on my phone and sync, it does not appear in iCal. Events created on my laptop sync without issue. Contacts sync both ways, but calendar events do not go from the phone to the computer. I am not using MobileMe to sync, simply using the USB cable.
I have tried the following to resolve my issues:
* Make sure iTunes and iPhone are up to date
* Make sure all calendars are set to sync with iTunes
* Try different USB ports on the laptop
* Restart phone and computer
* Reset sync history in iSync and re-sync
* Follow directions in this support article: http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1627 to do a full reset of sync history and re-sync
Yet after trying all of those solutions, I still cannot sync events created on my phone to my laptop. Does anyone out there know of anything else I can try that might work?

After a trip to the genius bar, I found how to solve this problem, at least for me:
0) Plug in iPhone
1) Start iCal
2) Export all calendars (File -> Export)
3) Quit iCal
4) Delete all calendars from ~/Library/Calendars
5) Start iCal
6) Import all exported calendars
7) Start iTunes, configure syncing to overwrite calendars on phone
8) Sync iPhone

Can you see the Canon EOS camera and image files using Windows Explorer? If not disconnect the camera, close all applications' shutdown Windows, and TURN OFF the power to your system and ALL connected devices. Disconnect all phones, iPads, and any other USB devices and restart your system.
Retry Windows Explorer and see if your camera is showing. If so try LR import again.

It sounds like you or someone else hacked the phone to unlock it. Updating it locked it to the original carrier.
How did you unlock it? The ONLY legitimate way is to ask the carrier it is locked to to unlock it. Any other way requires hacking or jailbreaking the phone.

In which this just gets weirder and weirder...
I logged onto iCloud.com, signed into my account and created a rule there that emails from my husband's address should be allowed into the inbox. I sent another test msg from him to me and got the New Mail notification sound, the new mail showed up but in a flash disappeared. This happened in the space of about 3 seconds.
Messages from his email address are not even showing up in the Trash folder. WTH?

Import Data Option Does not appear in navigation

I need to test the import capabilities as a Developer, but I do not see the options that are referenced in the help.
I installed NAV Dynamics 2013 R2 Developer Version on a development computer with "SQL Server 2014 - Developer" installed. I copied a demo company. The option "Import from Data File" does not appear under Departments/ Administration/
IT Administration/ General. Many other options are also missing.
I reviewed the security setting for the Domain User and enabled the db_owner and db_AccessAdmin for the user. It was installed with the same administrative user account and the user has SysAdmin rights.
I assume that this is some sort of security/authentication issue, but I also saw references that certain things are disabled in the demo. I can perform most basic functions, but many administrative functions are not visible.
How can I enable \the import capabilities?

Reminders on iphone does not appear in ical

Reminders opening page on my iphone also called reminders does not appear in my list called reminders in ical
also I cannot change the name of a reminders list, it keeps reverting to the original name

My mobile me calendar does not sync with ical

I recently downloaded the new ical software and now my ical and mobile me calendar do not work. I have reset all information, downloaded (i think) all the latest software and made sure all checks are on.
Any suggestions?

Please always post your System details when you have a question. The upgrade to the new MobileMe calendar produces different results, and different problems, with different versions of OSX.
Snow Leopard: during the upgrade process your iCal calendars should be moved to MobileMe (this can take some time and you have to wait for it to happen). Once done, your iCal reads the calendars from MobileMe so any changes made in either place will be visible immediately. If this has not happened then this Apple Tech Note provides instructions:

Leopard: when the upgrade is completed iCal on Leopard will not be able to see the MobileMe calendars until an additional process is carried out, detailed in this Apple Tech Note:

Tiger: iCal on Tiger cannot read the MobileMe calendars, period. The only workaround is to upgrade to Leopard, or Snow Leopard if possible (Intel Mac required).

2.1 iPhone Calendar does not sync with iCal

iPhone 3G 2.1, MacbookPro Leopard 10.5.5, iTunes 8.0 all upgraded this week.
Now, entries that I make from the iPhone will not sync to the iCal, however, entries from iCal syncs to the iPhone just fine. I tried restoring to stock Apple's 2.1 ipsw but it fails to restore every time so I'm stuck with the Pwnaged one I made using Apple's stock 2.1 ipsw and Pwnage 2.1.
Anyone experiences this problem with stock 2.1 or Jailbroken 2.1 ?
Or could it be 10.5.5.'s iCal problem ? (the rss symbol next to my first calendar on iCal is substituted with a warning sign

I figured it out. It is not a bug after all. Somehow I got duplicate calendars in my iCal from multiple backups, so by deleting the duplicates, the original ones appear. So the items been syncing all along, but I just didn't get to see it, since I was looking at the duplicate calendar.

Google Calendar does not appear in stock Calendar application

I have bought a new ipad mini retina with ios 7.0.4 and I am trying to get my google calendar events in the native calendar application.
Although my gmail account is connected with my ipad and I am able to access my e-mails and contacts, I am not able to see my calendar.
The calendar option is green (active) in the settings menu but when I open the calendar app I don't see any events there. If I tap on the calendars button in the bottom of the screen I don't see the gmail calendar either.
I have removed and re-added my google account multiple times but nothing happens

Podcast episode does not appear in iPod app on iPhone

My podcast feed "A Thoughtful Faith" has two episodes. Both of them download without trouble on the desktop version of iTunes, but on the iPhone after episode 1 downloads it still shows that it is available and not "Downloaded," and will not show up in iPod app. My listeners are reporting a similar problem.

There is a test suggested in this thread to check for byte-range request ability, consisting of pasting this into Terminal:

I don't know how reliable this test is. It may be that the problem is something different, particularly as the file appears to download complete and then disappears. I can only suggest trying hosting the file on another server, or asking the people who run your server whether they can suggest anything.
As to your other question, the PubDate for the Classic episode is indeed 2 September but the URL is definitely the mormonstories.org one. In order to look at the feed, control-click or right-click on the URL:

and choose 'Download linked file' or equivalent. Open the file in TextEdit or any text editor to read it: search for <enclosure to find the tag containing the media file URL.
