Imported .mov (or .swf) does not function

Greetings.
My company created a flash video that I need to pre-pend to
my .swf as an introduction.
I tried to import it into the library but when I did, the
movie started behaving differently once I put it on the stage. So I
tried to export as a .mov, then import to the library. Again, it
does not behave the same way.
Try it yourself. Download the movie here:
right click here and
choose "save as"
Then watch the movie. There are little green people in the
movie. They start floating towards the center and form a grid. Now
import the movie to your library. Put it on your stage and watch
the video. The number of little green people is less. Some green
people stay stuck against the edges. The grid is nolonger formed.
Help?
I'm using Flash 8.

Thanks for share file. I insert these swf file in PP2003 and PP2007 but was not able to reproduce the issue.
If you can share Published output (please share complete published folder) and the presentation in which you are seeing this issue, then it will be easier for me to look into the problem.

I'm not clear on exactly what it is you're asking, but if you're referring to changing opacity, you can change the opacity setting for the States of a menu item via the States panel and Control Strip.

.swf files not functional in Acrobat X pro

I've started working in flash builder, making some menues and buttons to create enriched pdfs, however when I try to add them to the pdfs I get 1 of 2 outcome, neither is functional. When working with swf files I have created myself, I get an empty loading bar with the error "Error#2032: Stream Error. URL: file://PDFMedia013861/g/framework4.5.1.21328.swf"
Or I get a play button image (a default before flash activation) that takes me directly to a black or transparent window (depending on my background pref.) I have found, the file in the error refers to a file in the same bin folder as the swf file created by my application. Also, when I try to run the swf file outside of the bin folder it does not function, it simply shows white.
I have been through the support channels for Adobe Acrobat X pro to rule out the error being on the Acrobat side, but I am now unsure how to proceed if I can only construct non-functional or machine specific Flash Builder Applications.
If anyone has any insite I would be happy to hear about it, as I am fairly new to the flash development community.

I've found that if I revert back to the Flash Builder 3.6 SDK and construct the files with the same basic content the import into Acrobat is successful... Has anyone else had issues with FB 4.5 to Acrobat X compatability?

Status bar missing in Firefox 6.0, also Real player does not function with updated version, had to switch back to 3.6

I've installed Firefox 6.0 about 3 times and each time I noticed that the status bar at the bottom of the page was missing. I relied upon the Norton Security "lock icon" which in version 3.6 would appear in the lower right hand corner of the status bar before signing in to websites or making transactions and found it very helpful. It was present in version 3.6 but not in 6.0. When I went back to 3.6 I suddenly had problems with the page freezing up so returned to 6.0 which corrected the problem but was not comfortable without the icon. I contacted Norton and via remote access the tech determined that the problem exists with Firefox's 6.0 version so he reinstalled 3.6 for me. Also I have a paid subscription to Real player Plus and it does not function with 6.0. I'm concerned because it seems you will soon phase out 3.6 and I will be without these functions which are important to me.

I have a solution! Follow this link and download the older version. When I installed it, everything came back as it was before! Yay! Good luck to you all. And bad move, Mozilla, in not making it clearer what the system requirements were for the update!!!!

Insert key does not function in Wkindows 7

Insert key does not work in Windows 7. I use this as a toggle to insert / overwrite and since going to Windows 7 SVP1 it does not function. I do an enormous amount of editing and need this function! Using universal keyboard.

SWF does not appear when returning to browser tab

I got an odd bug report on a web app we are developing.
The swf appears fine for the most part, but is the user has multiple browser tabs open, moves to a differnt tab and then returns to the tab with the swf, the swf does not appear until the mouse scrolls over the swf.
At first glance it would look like the swf is not being redrawn until the user intereacts with it (we are doing a good amount of mosue polling). It it as if to save memory the browser stops displaying the image, and does not redeisplay until we explicitly redraw the stage.
Has anyone run into a similar situyation? I am not sure where to start with this.
Some potentially relevant apsects of the swf:
Most of the objects on the stage have chachAsBitmap set to true and we are applying a gradient mask to most of the stage, so there is a good amount of processing going on and I know thishas caused some other redraw oddities.
The frame rate is set to a very slow 4fps, and movie is controlled from a timmer.
Any leads would be appreciated.

Reading the documentation, it says the frame rate drops typically to between 2 and 8 fps. If I am running at 4 fps, with the swf still throttle down and back up? Hopefully the client will let me up the minimum player version to 11.2

Unfortunately it is impossible to post a return delivery from the usage-decision for a material with serial number profile, which is in goods receipt blocked stock. This is is missing functionality
The possibility in the standard would be the following :
1. Close the inspection lot. Please do the stock-posting in a way, that you post to 'GR blocked stock'. Remark : No physical is done. This is only necessary to achieve, that status SPCO is set.
2. Post the reutrn delivery with the MM-IM-transaction (e.g. MIGO).

This is a bug in Mail. The mailbox archiving function does not include attachments, which gives the error with the import. To workaround this you can create a mailbox in Mail and copy to it all emails you want to export. Then go in Finder to [user]/Library/Mail/Mailboxes en select the created mailbox. Copy this to the public directory of your other mac. Then start Mail on that other mac and import the mailbox from the public directory. Should work now.

A movie rented on an iPhone can only be viewed on an iPhone. If you want to view on TV you need to rent directly on ATV or via computer (and stream using home-sharing)

Hotmail, only in Firefox, does not function, chrome, yes, IE, yes, but not firefox--WHY?

I have uninstalled all versions of Firefox, no matter-Hotmail loads, but when trying to open any email or part of hotmail, does not function. I have now added Chrome and IE and they have no probs with Hotmail!
So, WTF?????

It has been suggested that the Foxit Reader plug-in can cause problems with Hotmail. Try disabling it, reloading the page and see if it helps.

Password Remember Button does not function; Can't input 3rd Party Passwords for Social Networks/Emails.

My "Remember" button doesn't work. Simple as that. The "Not Now"
Button still works, and closes the pop-bar. Remember doesn't do anything.

I read the Troubleshooting extensions & Themes, but It didn't help.
When I tried to read "http://kb.mozillazine.org/Password_Manager" I get a page that says:

Also, this error occurs in ALL 3rd Party extensions. It can't log me into E-Mail accounts, Facebook, Twitter, anything. The error message has a window title of [JAVASCRIPT APPLICATION] if that says anything.

Applet does not function the same.

When I run my applet in IBM Visual Age it works fine. When I run it in my browser it does not function the same. It has to save a file on to my hardrive but it doesn't work. Can someone help.

Swf does not publish properly, plays fine in preview browser.

I have scoured the internet looking for a solution, and I work with a team of professional Flash developers... Nobody can figure this out.
I have a SWF I've been trying to publish to the web. It's inside an AP div tag. The swf plays fine in Preview mode. When I publish, however, the swf does not play in Safari at all, and will only play in Firefox upon hitting "refresh." After this, the swf will load and play just fine, UNLESS YOU CLEAR YOUR HISTORY, at which point the same problem appears: you see nothing but a black, blank box.
"Yeah, I've heard that before, it's probably your javascript, blah blah blah..." Well, wait, just wait. The swf DOES load in both browsers. It just doesn't play. In order to get it to play, you have to right-click and select Play. I cannot, for the life of me, get it to just go ahead and play automatically when publishing.
But the REAL riddle of all this is that the swfs USED to play just fine until a few days ago. I've done nothing different in my publishing. I have rebuilt the page from scratch to no avail. And I haven't found anything on the internet that addresses this question directly. I've had a couple of developers try and mess with the code for me, and THEY can't get it to work, either. I am pretty much begging for any possible help on this, so thanks in advance.
I am a design-oriented user; I understand code only conceptually. If a code solution is the only solution, please be specific with where and how to implement the advice.

Nope... As I said, the swf USED to run just fine, and still does in certain browsers. I haven't messed with the SWF at all since that time, so there isn't any logical reason it should be different now.
