Imported par file to NWDS, jar file missing. Where find par file structure?

Hi All,
We want to implement idle session timeout on the portal.  We found a wiki here on the subject.  In order to implement the solution we need to make adjuestments to com.sap.portal.navigation.masthead.par.bak.  When we import this par file to Netweaver Developer Studio, the libraries and jar files are missing.  So obviously it errors then in portal as files are missing.
So I could add them manually but I don't know what the file structure is on this par file so don't where to add what.  Does anyone know?
Also when I export the file after manually adding the missing files, will it export all the files or will it behave the same way as the import and leave out the additional files?
If anyone could help, I'd really appreciate it,
Kind regards,
Liz.

Hi Bala,
I thought of that just before you responded and it worked!!  Thanks for the response..
Regards,
Liz.

Is this a webpage that contains a link to a flv file? Please post a link to the page and tell us which link(s) are the problem flv files or else post a link to the .flv file itself.
Alternately, click on one of the sample FLV File links on this page and tell us exactly what happens:

It might also help if you post the exact error message, including the path to the flv file.
    '''Note:'''
Depending on how you have Firefox set up, clicking on a FLV File link will either save the FLV file to your computer or Firefox may open it automatically in an external application right after downloading (Firefox may ask you first). Firefox itself can't play FLV files so you need a "helper" application (or a plugin for flv files, if ther is one. You can see if Firefox is already set up to download or open FLV files by going to Firefox Preferences and looking in the Applications list. Find the FLV file type in the list and, if the action is "Open with", it should show the application that can play FLV files (e.g., VLC Media Player or Perian). • Can I refer to a file insider a .JAR archive with an instance of File?

    Hi,
I was wondering if it is possible to refer to a file stored inside a .JAR file just as if it was on a regular folder by using an instance of the java.io.File class. Otherwise, how can one do that?
Essencially what I need is to check if a particular class file is contained inside a .JAR archive.
    Best regards,
    Norberto

    http://java.sun.com/j2se/1.4.2/docs/api/java/util/jar/JarFile.html
See the entries() method to get a list of everything in the jar file. Most of the time the only thing you would want to do with a File is read the bytes from it, which you can do easily using the JarFile class.

  • Updating an XML file inside the Jar executable

    Hello all!
I would like to ask how can i update an XML file that is packaged inside my jar file?
    For intstance:
I have a Java Application in NetBeans
Inside a package i have constructed a custom .xml file.
I can read from this file using
.....getClass().getResourceAsStream("/.../file.xml")and after that using XPath for querying and works fine.
I want to update an entry in my xml file so the jar contains now the newly updated file.
Thanks everyone who spends his time to read this. Hope someone can help me.

Even if it were possible, it would be a bad idea. A jar file is something you deploy. It can be really hard to manage ongoing maintenance if the thing you deploy changes after you've deployed it.
Just create a file, in an appropriate place given the user's OS, to hold data that changes after the jar has been deployed. Your application will still be in a single jar; it's just that the application will happen to create additional content outside the jar.

Delete the files extensions.* (extensions.sqlite, extensions.rdf, extensions.cache, extensions.ini) and compatibility.ini in the Firefox [[Profiles|profile folder]] to reset the extensions registry.<br />
New files will be created when required.
    See "Corrupt extension files":

  • Nagging reminders about missing "Sites-n.rss" file

I've been playing around with iLife 08 in general and iWeb in particular. My main complaint is the color management (reported elsewhere), but there is also one issue that's driving me crazy: +every time+ I open iWeb, it gives me an error to the effect that file "Sites-n.rss" is missing (where "n" is an integer that is incremented every time I open iWeb). True enough, when I look inside the Domain file, I find no file beginning with "Sites-", but on the other hand, everything appears to be working, albeit a tad more slowly than I think it should.
Does anyone know what the "Sites.rss" file is? Is there a way to generate it and add it to wherever it has to be to stop this constant nagging?
    Any help appreciated.
    Daniel
    http://web.mac.com/dkiechle/

Try quitting iWeb, deleting the file < com.apple.iWeb > in Home Folder/Library/Preferences and relaunching.
If that doesn't do it, try the same again but this time do a restart of your Mac and run Disk Utility to repair permissions before launching iWeb.

  • Cant find my file in Test system JDI

    Hi ALL,
SORRY FOR LONG DESCRIPTION, BUT I WANTED TO EXPLAIN THE PROBLEM CLEARLY.
I have installed and configured JDI SP9 on WAS 6.40 SP9. I think there is not much difference between scenario 2+ and 3 configuration wise.. only difference is follow on tracks..for that i think not much config is needed.. anyhow  we planned to implement scenario 2+ for time being.  everything went smooth..didnt find many errors.. but we are missing to accomplish the goal
    1. After importing Development config and adding a webmodule DC and enterprise application DC to SC. when I say checkin, It checks in all the files to DTR and what does "activate" do, I see that a central build is performed here. Is this the point where the files get deployed into my Development server? (please let me know). if so as what files will this be deployed into my server (if I am not wrong .sda ?? )
    2. I already created Domain, Track and in runtime systems tab, I provided DEV,QA and PRD. following from the prev step, I released my activite from NWDS, which I was able to see in CONSOLIDATE tab in status "waiting for import"  . and i clicked on import and the status changed to "import finished".
    3. then it is turn of assembling. so it was here in "waiting for assembly"  I selected my comp and clicked on "assemble component" and the status changed to "assembled".
AFAIK an SCA file will be formed in this step. I have seen this SCA file in JDI SYSTEM. /jtrans/archives.
Next, I clicked on TEST tab, but I didnt find this file there in status "waiting for import".. why is it so?
Let us think Assembly failed, if so, why did it showed me status assembled in assembly tab. and what would be the reasons that an assembly would fail?
    4. anyhow my next trail was when assembling, this time i selected a checkbox "assemble even with inconsitencies".. so it changed to "assembled" state. and I could see this one in /Jtrans/archives and also it was in TEST tab with status "waiting for approval". then i clicked on import and it changed to "import finished". Then i searched for this file in Test system, but I didnt find this file there.
    Experts, Please throw your suggestions
    Thank you

    Hi Shiva,
    1. Activate process triggers a Central Build and it copies the sources from the inactive workspace in the DTR to the active workspace if the build is successful. No its is not at this point where your file is deployed. It is only after you release the activity for transport and then you import is your application deployed to the relevant runtime system.
    3. Once you assembled your component and it did not show in the TEST tab then you should have checked the logs of the previous assembly that you did. This you can do by clicking the history button then select the relevant row in the table displayed and clicking the Details button. Under the Logs tab you will get all the logs and will show exactly where the assembly may have failed.
    4. Again after you imported the component in the TEST system you should have gone in the history selected the relevant line in the table and clicked on the Details button. Under the logs tab you will find what all steps were executed and whether any step failed. You will also get a detailed explaination as to why the build failed.
If the logs show success then you can log in to Visual Admin and check whether your application has been deployed in the TEST runtime system.
    Hope this helps.
    Regards
    Sidharth

  • JDeveloper 10g 10.1.3 Unable to Find Source File (SQLJ)

I live and die using the debugger. I have never seen this happen before. I have a .sqlj file I compile with the other code for a particular application. JDeveloper has always been able to step into the .sqlj code before. However, I have kept the JDeveloper code up-to-date and applied a bunch of new updates today. In fact, before I compiled the latest version of the code, I was able to stop through the .sqlj file. Now I have recompiled it and as I attempt to step through the code defined in the .sqlj file, I keep seeing the "Unable to Find Source File" dialog. If I point it to the .sqlj file it shows me the line I would expect to be at, but as soon as I take snother "step" through the code, I am thrown out of the source and back to where I attempt to step into it from. If I keep try to step through the code and keep telling it where the code is I can actual step throught the code. But that's a huge pain, and it won't advance to the next breakpoint in the .sqlj code.
I have always been able to debug SQLJ files without problem until today.

    Hello!
the jar files are under WEB-INF/lib
how do I compile the files to include the debug info? All the files are compiled when you run or debug your app right? or am I missing something?
Thanks a bunch for your time!

  • App-V 5 SP2 client attempting to find/create file in the package store (outside of the PVAD)

    Hi all,
Hopefully I'm not missing something screamingly obvious here but I've been at this for a while and can't work out how to get around it.
I've got an app that I've sequenced (App-V 5 SP2) and can run from the sequencer with no issues but when I publish and run it on my client test box, I get a series of errors pointing to there being missing files. Fairly common scenario so I turn on procmon
and see what it's trying to do/find and see that it's looking for a file directly under C:\ProgramData\App-V\PackGUID\VersionGUID and failing because the file it's looking for isn't there (nor should it be) and is present where it should be; under the C:\ProgramData\App-V\PackGUID\VersionGUID\Root\
    (which is the install directory).
If I modify the permissions on the "VersionGUID" directory and add the file to this location then the executable finds the file but fails because it's expecting to find the rest of the applications files from the installation directory in the same
    location.
I've tried packaging to VFS, packaging and installing to PVAD with the same results. The only way that I could get it to launch was by setting the directories under the VFS to Merge with the local files system, deleting all files in the package under the
install directory and copying the same file structure onto the test machine (This isn't really a solution though as we're talking about over 500mb of files).
What tricks do you guys use when you come across these sorts of problems? Hopefully this all makes sense!
    Thanks
    DT

    Deetts,
I plan on spending more time to see if I can get any better information, but a few interesting points so far.
The software seems to install a driver.
It is odd I only got the driver warning when I sequenced a second time and actually launched the software while in capture, but I have seen that before.
Also, the software ACLs the program files\client dir with some pretty interesting (stupid) permissions.  It actually
REMOVES inheritance, and adds everyone full.
While this isn't a problem per se as under HF4 we can enable full VFS writes, it leads me to believe the software may be doing a lot of other bad practices, and it wouldn't surprise me if it assumed its own directory had full write rights to, and bombs if
it doesn't.  Depending on how it determines its own dir may or may not be an issue.  You will never have write access to the program data app-v dir, but you will under the VFS program files\client dir.
At any rate, I am going to spend a little more time with it, but just seeing what I have so far means it may not be the best candidate for App-V...but, don't ever let that deter you!  We have completed many packages that were not ideal candidates with
    great success.

  • Obfuscation Error: C:\Documents (The system cannot find the file specified)

    Hi,
I want to obfuscate my jar file. for this purpose i followed the steps below.
    1. Copied proguard.jar in C:\WTK2.5.2\bin
    2. Now opened the file ktoolbar.vm , which is present in C:\WTK2.5.2\bin
    my ktoolbar.vm looks like this
    {color:#666699}C:\PROGRA~1\Java\JDK16~1.0_0\bin\java -Dkvem.home="%KVEM_HOME%" -Djava.library.path="%KVEM_HOME%/bin" -Dsun.java2d.ddlock=true -Dsun.java2d.gdiblit=false -cp "%KVEM_HOME%/wtklib/kenv.zip";"%KVEM_HOME%/wtklib/ktools.zip";"%KVEM_HOME%/bin/JadTool.jar";"%KVEM_HOME%/bin/MEKeyTool.jar";"%KVEM_HOME%/wtklib/customjmf.jar";"%KVEM_HOME%/lib/j2me-ws.jar";"%KVEM_HOME%/lib/j2me-xmlrpc.jar";"%KVEM_HOME%/bin/schema2beansdev.jar";"%KVEM_HOME%/bin/j2me_sg_ri.jar";"%KVEM_HOME%/bin/jaxrpc-impl.jar";"%KVEM_HOME%/bin/jaxrpc-api.jar";"%KVEM_HOME%/bin/jaxrpc-spi.jar";"%KVEM_HOME%/bin/activation.jar";"%KVEM_HOME%/bin/mail.jar";"%KVEM_HOME%/bin/saaj-api.jar";"%KVEM_HOME%/bin/saaj-impl.jar";"%KVEM_HOME%/bin/xsdlib.jar";"%KVEM_HOME%/wtklib/nist-sip-1.2.jar";"%KVEM_HOME%/wtklib/JainSipApi1.1.jar";"%KVEM_HOME%/wtklib/jain-sip-presence-proxy.jar" com.sun.kvem.toolbar.Main{color}
    3. my project or my workspace is at location D:\workspace\WTK
    4. Also my wtk is located at C:\WTK2.5.2
5 Now i renamed ktoolbar.vm to ktoolbar.bat and the edited the file then added 2 lines at the beginning of ktoolbar.bat
    SET USER_HOME=D:\workspace\WTK
    SET KVEM_HOME=C:\WTK2.5.2
6 Also i added -Duser.home=%USER_HOME% in the next line.
7 Now my ktoolbar.bat looks like this.
    {color:#800080}SET USER_HOME=D:\workspace\WTK SET KVEM_HOME=C:\WTK2.5.2 C:\PROGRA~1\Java\JDK16~1.0_0\bin\java -Dkvem.home="%KVEM_HOME%" -Duser.home=%USER_HOME% -Djava.library.path="%KVEM_HOME%/bin" -Dsun.java2d.ddlock=true -Dsun.java2d.gdiblit=false -cp "%KVEM_HOME%/wtklib/kenv.zip";"%KVEM_HOME%/wtklib/ktools.zip";"%KVEM_HOME%/bin/JadTool.jar";"%KVEM_HOME%/bin/MEKeyTool.jar";"%KVEM_HOME%/wtklib/customjmf.jar";"%KVEM_HOME%/lib/j2me-ws.jar";"%KVEM_HOME%/lib/j2me-xmlrpc.jar";"%KVEM_HOME%/bin/schema2beansdev.jar";"%KVEM_HOME%/bin/j2me_sg_ri.jar";"%KVEM_HOME%/bin/jaxrpc-impl.jar";"%KVEM_HOME%/bin/jaxrpc-api.jar";"%KVEM_HOME%/bin/jaxrpc-spi.jar";"%KVEM_HOME%/bin/activation.jar";"%KVEM_HOME%/bin/mail.jar";"%KVEM_HOME%/bin/saaj-api.jar";"%KVEM_HOME%/bin/saaj-impl.jar";"%KVEM_HOME%/bin/xsdlib.jar";"%KVEM_HOME%/wtklib/nist-sip-1.2.jar";"%KVEM_HOME%/wtklib/JainSipApi1.1.jar";"%KVEM_HOME%/wtklib/jain-sip-presence-proxy.jar" com.sun.kvem.toolbar.Main{color}
8 Now i opened the command promt and i executed the bat file.
9 Now when i try to open the WTK toolkit it gives me the following error
Fatal error : File: C:\WTK.2.5.2\bin\ktoolbar.vm does not exist
Please help me to resolve this issue or suggest me some different way.
Also i would like to tell that my project is completely build using netbeans 6.5 . but when i try to make the obfuscation level high using the scroll that is provided by netbeans , it gives me following error.
    {color:#ff0000}C:\Documents and Settings\SShete\My Documents\NetBeansProjects\vtms_test_lwuit_Backup\nbproject\build-impl.xml:459: Error while expanding C:\Documents and Settings\SShete\My Documents\NetBeansProjects\vtms_test_lwuit_Backup\build\obfuscated.jar

    BUILD FAILED (total time: 8 seconds){color}
Also i dont know what changes are to be done to the build.xml so that obfuscation can be done .
Thats the reason why i am now opening the same project using wtk and trying to obfuscate it.

    hi....
i have tried another way out ,
    i followed the procedure below
In order to integrate this plug-in in the toolkit, you'll have to put the following lines in the file {j2mewtk.dir}/wtklib/Linux/ktools.properties or {j2mewtk.dir}\wtklib\Windows\ktools.properties (whichever is applicable).
    obfuscator.runner.class.name: proguard.wtk.ProGuardObfuscator
    obfuscator.runner.classpath: /usr/local/java/proguard/lib/proguard.jar
Please make sure the class path is set correctly for your system.
Once ProGuard has been set up, you can apply it to your projects as part of the build process. The build process is started from the WTK menu bar:
Project -> Package -> Create Obfuscated Package
The Toolkit obfuscates other sample projects
However now my project gets build without errors , but when i try to create a obfuscated package it gives me the following error
    Error preverifying class bc
    VERIFIER ERROR bc.a(Z)Lhx;:
    Incompatible object argument for invokespecial
    com.sun.kvem.ktools.ExecutionException: Preverifier returned 1
    Build failed
    Please help..

  • [JDeveloper/BPEL] "repository.jar" is missing when building the project

    Hi,
First of all let me say that I'm new to JDeveloper and BPEL. I followed the "CreditFlow" tutorial and everything was OK. I could deploy and run it. Then I wanted to create my own webservice and try to create a simple HelloWorld BPEL workflow. My problem now is that I get a "Error: C:\oracle\JDeveloper\jlib\repository.jar (The system cannot find the file specified)" error when I build my project.
I had the same error message for the following jars:
    -jaxb-libs.jar
    -jaxb-impl.jar
    -jaxb-api.jar
I just copied them from "<jdeveloper_inst_dir>\adfp\lib" to "<jdeveloper_inst_dir>\webservices\lib" to get rid of thoses error messages.
But this "repository.jar" simply doesn't exist on my filesystem...
    I think it's pretty strange...
BTW I use JDeveloper version 10.1.3.3.0.
    Thanks for any help!
    Nicolas

    Hi,
I am getting the same error. Any help is greatly appreciated.
May be if you have repossotory.jar in your lib folder by any chance please send it to [email protected]
    Thanks

  • Open PDF's in new window in document library when using "Find a file" search

I need to be able to open PDF's in a new window from a document library when using the "Find a file" search built into the document library "All documents" view. I currently have the following javascript on the page:
    _spBodyOnLoadFunctionNames.push("setTargetBlank()");
    function setTargetBlank()
    { $("a[href$='.pdf']").removeAttr('onclick').attr("target", "_blank");
This works great when going to the document library and navigating through the folders then clicking on a link.
The problem is when someone goes to the document library then uses the "Find a file" search and then they click on a link. The "Find a file" search does not do a postback (reload) of the page, therefore my javascript to find the PDF links
and make them open in a new window does not run for the links on the page.
I have read the following article but this does not seem to offer a solution that will work in this situation for SharePoint 2013 (Office 365): http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/sharepoint/en-US/7ad3224c-3165-47ae-95bc-4f3928e2f9a8/opening-document-library-pdf-in-a-new-window-sharepoint-2013?forum=sharepointgeneral
I suppose the idea solution would be to somehow tap into the event that is fired when using "Find a file" search to run my javascript and update the links for the search results.
Can anyone offer any solutions to this issue?

    Hi,
According to your description, my understanding is that you want to open PDF files in a new window from a document library when using the "Find a file" search.
As you said, the "Find a file" search does not do a postback (reload) of the page, therefore JavaScript to find the PDF links and make them open in a new window does not run for the links on the page.
I recommend to use JS link to achieve the goal. Create a JavaScript override file and upload the JavaScript file to the Master Page Gallery, and then set the JS Link property of the document library web part to point to the JavaScript file.
Here are some links about the JS link in SharePoint 2013 for you to take a look:
