Imported same .tpz file twice.

Hi,
I have imported same .tpz files twice. SO now there are two entries in my SWC.
and they have same namespaces... so that is giving a problem and conflict..
Can any one help me out of this situation.
I want to delete the other imported copy.
Thanks
regards
fariha

Hi,
if you want to delete and you cannot do it from change list (reject change)
you need to delate all objects inside each namespace
and then you can delete the software component

  • Import multiple tpz files at a time

    Hello,
Present, only one person can import one tpz file at a time in a PI system.
Can many people do import of tpz file simultaneously (at a time) in PI system?

    Hello
What method are you using to import the tpz files? CTS+, CMS or File System method?
"Can many people do import of tpz file simultaneously (at a time) in PI system?"
    - Do you mean the same tpz file or different tpz files?

  • Captivate 5.5 keeps importing same audio file to additional screens instead of newly chosen file

I split an MP3 file between three screens at the beginning of the training and all went well.  Now I am trying to add another file to another set of two screens further in the training - once I choose "Distribute the audio file over several slides" it reimports the first MP3 file from the beginning of the training (when I first chose that option to distribute).  I've tried over and over again to import the new file to these new slides, it simply will not import the new file, it keeps adding the first file that I split up.  Has anyone seen this before?
    Much thanks in advance!

  • Can I use the same tpz file from PI 7.0 to PI 7.1 ?

I have configured JDBC sender (Oracle 10.2) to ABAP proxy receiver scenario using PI 7.0
The customer now wants to install PI 7.1 and they want this to be a fresh installation, not an upgrade.
If I export my configurations to the tpz, can I import the same in PI 7.1 as it is?
Also, please let me know is there are any other risks that I should consider.
    Thanks and Regards,
    Prasad

I was able to get some helpful answers in this thread
    PI 7.0  & PI 7.1
What I understand is that it is mostly prossible but minor adjustments may be required. I guess I will understand the intricacies when it is actually done.
Thanks all for your replies. I have awarded points for the helpful answers.

  • Why is Bridge CS5.1 showing same .nef file twice?

I just upgraded from CS3 ti CS5.1 last month and since then Bridge will display a few of the .nef files I am working on twice. It seems to be completely at random, a folder with a few hundered .nef files will have 5-10 files that are showing twice. The file names are exactly the same and when you do something to one it does the same thing to the other one. So, I can't delete one of them without deleting both of them. It pulls them into Camera Raw as two seperate files also, still with the same name. It is not duplicating the file on my hard drive when I look at in explorer, just showing up twice in Bridge. Once I have saved them all to jpg to a different folder, I have to go in and delete the jpg duplicates it made. When I first load my .nef files into Bridge everything is good but as I am working on them in Camera Raw these duplicates start apearing and I can't seem to understand why. Running Windows. I have googled the heck out of this and can't seem to find others with this issue.

I wonder why it is doing that in the first place. I've been using CS3 for years, working through a few thousand files a week and never had the issue.
You must have been very lucky with that, I had many issues with CS3 and needed to delete the complete cache and prefs every once in about 6 weeks to start again from scratch...
However, Bridge is my favorite file manager but I have to admit it can be very mysterious also. Sometimes no problems for a long time, sometimes many troubles after each other.
First aid for your issue with strange thumbs is always purge cache, first option cache for folder, second purge complete cache (preferences) and last option delete the whole cache file manually and start rebuilding cache from scratch.
And other strange behavior out of the blue is often solved by restarting Bridge holding down option (Mac) or control (Win) and choose reset preferences.
It sometimes can be a PITA but besides that it is a very useful application

  • Unable to import the TPZ files

    Hello Experts,
We are upgrading from PI7.0 to PO7.4 system.
Here we have exported some of the specific objects(Mapping objects) from PI7.0 Quality system and trying to import in PO74 Dev system.
While try to import it was giving success, but when I look at the objects they are not available.
Can someone please tell if there is any workaround for the same.
    Thanks

    Hi,
If the error message points to SAP Note 1682620 - then update SERVERCORE.SCA to Patch Level, which includes the fix attached current SAP Note (1785554). Check SP Patch Level section for details.
This particular fix does not depend on other SCAs.
However, keep in mind that SERVERCORE has dependant Software Component Archives (SCAs):

  • Error importing/activating Configuration tpz files

    Hi All,
I am trying to import Configuration tpz files from one XI server to another. I have defined Transport Targets for all the Business Systems in the SLD also.
In Configuration, all the objects for a particular scenario are imported correctly from the tpz file, without any error. All these inactivated objects are grouped under a single change list called "XI 3.0 Import".
But while truing to activate this chage list, it gives error "Unable to activate <Receiver Determination> - Object <Receiver Communication Channel> does not exist".
I am also unable to activate any of the objects individually. It gives message "Unable to move object. Change lists were not part of the same import",
Any ideas on how to proceed?
    Regards,
    Puloma.

    Hi All,
    The problem is now solved.
We deleted the offending Receiver Determination objects from the Change List, and the rest of the change list was activated without any further errors. We now just have to re-create the Receiver dtermination objects.
    Theo,
The communication channels in the original configuration were assisgned to scenarios. Also, re-creation of new Communication Channels was useless, as the resp. Business Systems were inactived.
However, the problem is now almost solved, as we don't have to replicate the entire Configuration manually, just the Receiver Determination.
    Regards,
    Puloma.

  • Error while Importing .TPZ File into ID

    Hi Experts,
While Importing the .TPZ File Into Integration Directory , It's Saying that
<b>Business system INTEGRATION_SERVER_PNW is not assigned to a business system group with the ID (XISystemGroup)</b>
    Please let me Know
    Regards
    Khanna

    Hi,
First, you have to start the SLD.
To transport business systems you must first of all create business system groups, then associate the business systems with the group and finally map your business systems.
To create a group, proceed as follows:
    > Business Systems
    > Click on the drop-down next to Group and select Edit Groups
    > Create a group for each environment (eg DEV, TST, PRD). Specify for each group which Integration Server is used.
    > If the group XISystemGroup (I suspect that this group has been created before via the SLD Administration / Content Maintenance Tool, isn't it?) is already present, just Remove it.
To assign business systems to a group, proceed as follows:
    > Business Systems (Group = all)
    > Select your Business System
    > Click on the Integration tab.
    > Select the related Integration Server (which is associated with a group - see step 1)
To map your DEV Business Systems to TST Business Systems etc., proceed as follows:
    > Business Systems
    > Select the group of your choice
    > Select your Business System
    > Click on Transport
    > Click on Add/Change Target
    > Select the Target Group and System

  • Undo the imported tpz file in PI

    Hi,
I have imported the tpz file in PI and all my existing scenario lost. How to recover all those removed objects?
    Regards
    Amarnath M

    Hi,
Take any object from your 20 old namespaces and check/find in target system through find  option (ctrl+f) and tell us , if you object is missing in Target system.
Note : AFAIK , your objects were not deleted from target system . Just disappeared because of new transport.
    Thanks

    2--How to export the objects
3--What is the procedure to create a .tpz file
4--And how to import and how to work on those???

    hi
SAP Defined some content already in Service market place for some scenarios, for examples for SRM server,XI Content are there in Service Market place.
When u Download this file It is in ZIP format.
After Extracting from Zip format it is in tpz format
This tpz format file importing into IR Then it shows Design objects like data, message typesetc
According that we have to work in ID.
For Importing the tpz file into IR is
    1.
    a)     Go to your XI home page, Administration -->In this under general information link you will find the location for the Import Folder.
    b) Now, go to the OS level and move the TPZ file in this import folder whose path you found in step 1.
c). After moving this file to the import folder, go to IR, Tools --> Import and you will be able to import the TPZ file.
    2.
    put the file into:
    <systemdir>/xi/repository_server/import
open repository and choose import from menu.
    Thanks

  • Problem with tpz File

    hi all,
i am confused with importing of tpz files to the Repository. (stupid doubt)
i have the path of the import directory as : D:\usr\sap\X7A\SYS\global\xi\repository_server\import.
but how do i get there and copy the file.
    regards,
    raj

All the exported objects will store as tpz in export folder. If U want to import the tpzs to different server(like QA, Prod), U have 2 copy the files manually or using FTP U can place the files. If U R using windows OS, using remote desktop U can do with proper access rights. If U R using Unix OS, ask Ur Basis to transfer the tpzs to destination server. Using some batch script they can transfer Ur tpzs.

  • About .tpz file?

    Hi,
plz give me information how to export object into .tpz file, where it will be stored and from where we have to import that .tpz file........plz send me docs related to this concept.
    Regards,
    Kumar.

    Hi Kumar,
IN XI Two ways you can transport 1. File System(it generates .tpz format)
    2. CMS
If you want to export IR objects select the SWC and righct click then you can export single namespace or all the namespace or single objects also you can export.
once export any objects it create the .tpz file in export location.
Location addres you can find out IB Homepage -> Administration -> General information--->>Export folder
Go to export location copy the files and paste the import location.
Go to SLD OR IR OR ID and Import.

    In addition to abobe answers,
Keep this .tpz file at below mentioned location
    \usr\sap\<SID>\SYS\global\xi\repository_server\import\XI7_0_SAP_BASIS_7.00_09_00.tpz
then login to the IR and peoceed as Tools -
    > import design objects. Her you will get this .tpz file, just import it.
follow the steps given in this link and check if you are doing the correct thing.
    http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/93/a3a74046033913e10000000a155106/frameset.htm
    http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/ef/a21e3e0987760be10000000a114084/content.htm
The steps that you require are listed below,
    1) You must have the role SAP_XI_ADMINISTRATOR or SAP_XI_CONTENT_ORGANIZER to be able to export and import XI content.
2)You import the XI content by first copying the provided export files into an import directory on the host of the Integration Builder and then importing the files into the Integration Repository.
3)Copy the export files into the import directory for the Integration Repository (<systemDir>\xi\repository_server\import).If the files are packed, you must unpack them before importing. The actual export files have the extension .tpz. You must not unpack these files.
4)The import directory is created the first time you call the Integration Builder.
5)Start the Integration Builder and call the Integration Repository.
To do this, perform the following steps:
    a. Log on to the SAP system on which your Integration Builder has been installed.
    b. Open the Integration Builder start page by calling it either from your user menu or with Transaction SXMB_IFR.
    c. Choose Integration Repository.
Choose Tools u00AE Import design objects to import the XI content.
6)Only the files from the import directory are offered to be imported. The sequence in which
you import the export files is not important.
7)After a successful import, the Integration Builder moves the imported TPZ files into the directory <systemDir>/xi/repository_server/importedFiles. The support package stack of imported software component versions is displayed on the Details tab page for the relevant software component version in the Integration Builder. If an error occurs, this information is important for support.
Hope i have been of some help.

  • Illustrator CS3 opening the same file twice

Hoping someone has an answer for this because I'm stumped.
Just set up CS3 on a new iMac for one of my users, imported her Illustrator files from her hold PC (also running cs3).
When she opens a file its opening the same file twice. When she modifies one, its all being mirrored on the other. When she saves, she has to save both "files" although they're really only 1 file.
    Any ideas?

You can open multiple windows looking at the same file. It comes in handy when you're zoomed in, working on some detail and want to see the big picture...
Open a new one by going to the window menu and selecting "new window" This will open a new window with "filename:2" in the title bar.
To get rid of additional windows, just close them. You'll have to save the file to get it to remember that the other windows are closed.
