Imported signature stamp upside down

I have a JPG of my signature. I've tried several times to import it as a "Custom Stamp" into Acrobat X.
Comes in upside down, no matter what configuration I import it in.
What's going on?
Acrobat X on Win XP Pro. (Same problem with Acrobat 9.)

I get the same result.  It is a bit random.  The signature is somethings upside-down, and sometimes perpendicular to the horizonal plane.  It does NOT help to rotate the document 180 degress, the signature image rotates with the page.  It seems to be a Mt. Lion issue, since i used this feature all the time in Lion with problems.

  • IMovie imports .mov file upside down?

I shot some video with my iPhone, turned the phone sideways to shoot landscape. The video shot fine, played back fine. It even imported into my iPhoto and plays back correctly. The icon is right-side-up. Everything seems to be perfectly normal... until I import it into iMovie 6 HD. Then, the clip is upside down.
    Can anybody help?

    Hi
    *Rotating & Sizeing*
    In iMovie 1 - 6 . You need a plug-in
In iMovie’08 . You can turn in 90-deg steps and enlarg the picture (but not shrink)
    • With a lot of disipline You can do this in QuickTime-Pro (in 90 deg steps + enlarge and shrink)
    • In FinalCut (Express or Pro) this is childs play.
Put video on new video track. Turn on Image + Wireframe and grab one of the corners to rotate (increments of a degree or to a full 360 turn) and change size (enlarge or shrink) at Your likeing.
Both in QT and FC (E or P) You can do picture in picture or even video walls.
    Plug-ins to iMovie ? - 6 .

    from Klaus1.
You can do this (90 deg rotation) using TransformMovie, available here
    //www.macupdate.com/info.php/id/21859
Also, MPEG Streamclip can rotate video while maintaining the aspect ratio as well as the interlacing when converting to DV, which is what iMovie prefers as an input.

Bengt is right that there is no rotate feature in iMovie itself. But you can import them into iPhoto. Click the edit button, and then rotate them there. Then import them back into iMovie.

  • Lightroom Imports Photos Upside Down

I just started using Lightroom to import my photos directly from my camera. It worked fine for the first few times, but now it is reading all of my photos upside-down.
XP's Camera Wizard correctly reads the orientation from the camera, so I think this is something specific in Lightroom. I've checked the settings, but didn't see anything about orientation.
    Thanks...

Hi Same thing here. Also cant preview raw files at import. hoping a card reader will fix both problems.cheers

  • When I import a video from my PC into Itunes, it flips upside down, how do i fix that?

I created a video on my PC using Power Director 12, and it plays correctly. So, i imported the video into the iTunes app on the same PC, and in the viewing window, the video is upside down, when i copy it to the iPad it is upside down. I see posts concerning videos that were filmed upside down with the ipad, but that is not the case, this video played perfectly fine until it was imported into the itunes application, never leaving my PC. the file type is Mp4. I was wondering if there was anyone out there who knew how to prevent this from happening? or just why it is happening?
    thanks everyone for any help.

I'm not sure of your question.
Are you asking how to use Photoshop?
Or are you asking for the dimensions of video iMovie uses?
It edits in 720P HD, which is 1280x720.
You can make it a bit bigger so you can zoom in.
Much bigger then this is a waste of time.

  • Why are my imported mp4 video files upside down and black and white?

  • Imported images upside down and blurred Lightroom 1.4

Hiya everyone. First post on here so I hope I am putting this in the right place but hope you can help me. I have had a trawl through the archives but havent seen a fix for this problem.
When I try to import images direct from my camera (Canon EOS 30D)into Lightroom, they have started to be displayed on the IMPORT page upside down and very poor quality. If I go ahead with the import they are displayed in LR proper in the correct orientation and clear quality.
I have done a system restore back to a few days ago when it was working ok, and have tried uninstall and then reinstall. I have also taken my camera back to its default settings in case that is the cause, but nothing has worked.
I am using the following -
    Lightroom 1.4
    Dell Studio 1535 laptop
    Windows Vista
    Intel Core Duo @2GHz
    4GB Ram
Hope you can help as I am wary of putting all my photos on LR now in case it fails - I am using Picasa as a storage instead.
    Thanks everyone

Are you going straight from the camera? Take my advice - don't. Use a card reader instead.

  • Video imported upside down.

Lightroom 5.4 imports my mp4 videos upside down. The videos were originally taken with a HTC One, but moved to my hard drive before importing them. The video is displayed upside down in the thumbnail preview for the import dialog, the library and during playback. The video plays normally on my computer.
    Details:
    Lightroom 5.4
    OS X Mavericks 10.9.2
    Mac Pro (Late 2013)
    HTC One M8

that's pretty strange.  What format is the video?  Bet it's not a fcp friendly format.  Wonder what would happen if you used compressor to convert to a fcp friendly format like one of the flavors of prores.  If you do this, remember to make sure audio is not pass thru (if the audio is compressed which I bet it will be) but enabled and converting to 48l 16 bit.

  • Imported video upside down

Tyring to encode mpg files as FLVs. When I import the mpgs,
they are upside down. Same problem with Flash CS3 and Flash
Encoder. The mpgs play fine in Windows Media Player and can be
converted by Windows Media Encoder without problem. Any ideas? The
files were created using Pinnacle Studio.

In addition to Sue's suggestions, you can use iMovie's built in Mirror video effect to turn your clips upside down or, in your case, right side up. Switch to Editing>Vide FX and select the Mirror effect. Now slide the Vertical slider all the way to the Bottom setting and move the Horizontal slider all the way to the Right. Matt_______

  • Images of signatures,Test form layout printed as upside down & as mirror im

    Hi All,
The images of signatures and the test form Layout images are printed as upside down mirror images.
This is happening after upgrade. What could be the problem? this is happening while printing notifications.
Please let me know. Thanks in advance.
    Thanks & regards,

    Hi,
Take a look at SAP note #683605. Usually this is a problem of the printer driver at windows level if you use a windows device type like SAPWIN or SWINCF in SAP. If the printer is a HP PCL printer, try creating a spool and print via a PCL device type like e.g. HPLJ4000. The problem should not happen in this case. But the solution is a corrected windows printer driver as per note #683605.

  • When I import videos taken with my iPhone 4S to my Windows PC some of the landscape videos are upside down and all of the portrait videos are rotated 90 degrees.  It makes a difference depending how I hold the iPhone when taking videos.  Help!!!

When I import videos taken with my iPhone 4S to my Windows PC, some of the landscape videos are upside down and all of the portrait videos are rotated 90 degrees.  It makes a difference depending on what position I hold the Iphone when taking videos.  Help!!!!

Sometimes syncing will have problems with very large video files like this.  I'm not sure you will be able to overcome this, but if the videos are important enough you may consider purchasing 3rd party software such as Touch Copy to transfer them.

  • Clips imported from my itouch are upside down in editor

I am a newbie, but have edited 10 or more videos and never have had this problem. I imported a video clip taken from my itouch. In the bin it is right side up, but when I pull it to the editor, the video image is upside down. How do I correct that.
(PS. The video is right side up when I watch it in quicktime player before I import it)

I must not be selecting the clip properly because nothing is changing. I have gone to the motion tab and ran the clock to turn the image 180 but it is not changing on the editor or the canvas screen.

  • Signature Stamp Wizard?

    Hi.
I have a client with several sales people, a few of whom have recently upgraded to Acrobat X Standard from Adobe Reader X.  In Reader, they had created a signature stamp by stepping through a wizard of some sort that imported a scanned image of their signature and then dropped out the white background, thus creating a nice signature that they could apply to their documents by clicking on Place Signature (under the Sign panel) and then clicking where the signature should appear.  It would then apply a transparent-background signature to the document over a signature line or wherever.
After installing the full version of Acrobat X Standard, we can't find that wizard.  We do see the  options for creating a digital ID, the ink signature option (which won't work since they don't have tablets), and a custom stamp tool, but none of those tools do what the Adobe Reader feature did.  They aren't looking for a certified digital ID or anything like that; they just want that transparent stamp that was created from a scanned image of their signature.  They don't have other apps (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.) with which to manually create a transparent image file for their signature either.
We did try creating a digital ID, and customizing the appearance of the signature to include an image, but the result did not have a transparent background and covered other elements in the document.
Does anyone know a quick and easy way for them and the rest of the sales team to get back their signature functionality?  While they thought they were upgrading, they found that they actually lost a very simple feature that they used frequently.
    Thank you,
    Aaron

    Hi Aaron,
I believe that you're referring to the Reader integration with Echosign. It looked something like this in the right-hand panel:
Unfortunately the current version of Acrobat (10.1.2) doesn't have this same level of integration yet. I'll see if I can track down a timeframe of when this will be part of Acrobat X.

  • Why is it that when I connect my iPhone 5S to my Windows Vista computer, the photos made with my iPhone are all of very low quality and most of them are turned upside down?

Why is it that when I connect my iPhone 5S to my Windows Vista computer, the photos made with my iPhone are all of very low quality and most of them are turned upside down?
On another note, the iPhone tells me that it's ''busy'' when opening a photo on the computer.
(I tried restarting my PC, connecting via another USB port, importing using PhotoStream, etc...)

Are you using the front or rear camera? When you say they are low quality, are you referring to file/pixel size, or how the picture looks? As far as upside down, how are you holding the phone? Older versions of Windows have issues reading the Metadata from the pictures and will not display the same.
