Does anyone know how to import the contacts, calendar, to do list, etc from a Palm Tungsten E2 into an iPhone 6?

I tried to sync through outlook as the instructions said but had problems with installing outlook on the XP machine, had problems with the Palm software on my Windows 7 machine, etc. Spent lots of hours trying to get this to work but I think most of the problems were due to issues with my 2 different computers. Finally found out about CompanionLink. Installed that software on my XP machine since that is where my Palm Desktop resides. Had to add the app DejaOffice on my I-Phone. Synced the 2 together and everything was transferred onto my phone in the Dejaoffice app. All calendar and contact information was also synced into the I-phone calendar and contact list. The only thing I will have to copy and paste are the reminders and other notes into the phone reminders and notes and then I should be able to delete the DejaOffice app. The companionlink software is usually 49.95 to purchase but you can download a trial version for 14 days which works just fine. It took a total of about 25 minutes to download and sync my Palm and phone and I had previously spent at least 8 hours trying to get things to work. So frustrating. But thank you for at least offering some help.

You should be able to sync both to the same iTunes - I sync my iPad, iPhone, and iPod Touch to the same computer. With the iPad connected and selected on the left-hand side of your computer's iTunes, you can use the tabs on the right-hand side to select which of your iTunes content to sync to it, so you can control which apps, photos, music etc are synced to it, and (via the Info tab) from which email account your contacts are synced from. Your computer's iTunes should remember your syncing preferences for each device.

Will entering my iCloud now overwrite all my contacts, calendar, etc from a fresh phone that's been in use since the 5s release?

When I first purchased the phone the gentleman, just activated my phone handed it to me and that was it. Blank empty bran new iPhone 5s iOS 7 activated. I was stupid enough not to enter my iCloud info immediately but on that day we were rushing around to find the iPhone 5s in stock anywhere Apple had them for my brother so iCloud became a second concern.
But now I'm stuck with the problem of that the phone has collected contacts, pictures, mail, bookmarks, since the release date. I recently updated to 7.0.4 through iTunes I setup as a new phone, as it was the first time hooked into a computer. It took my AppStore account and found a old iCloud account associated with it that I don't use. I told the update not to use iCloud, even though it entered in all the info. I was able to delete this info and I'm back to the sign up in settings for iCloud.
If I were to enter in the right iCloud information now will it purge the data on this phone that's collected data or will it just simply merge the phone and whats on iCloud like the contacts, calendar events, reminders, notes? I have important things that I've collected on my phone and I do not want to lose it.
Will iCloud overtake the phone or will it merge what's on my phone now with what's on the iCloud account to bring them together?

Maybe I should just backup this phone before trying merge everything from my icloud with what's on my phone. I just can't lose the data on this phone I've collected. I just want my iPad and iPhone back to the way they always were with icloud.

Import/export of contacts, calendar etc.

I am in the process of transferring my data from my old Nokia to my new BB9900. I hope that the current version of the Desktop Software is something like version -1, because I consider it totally inadequate. I would expect that this software provides means to export/import contact and other data. This would allow to edit/update these data using more comfortable tools of my Mac instead of typing in any changes in my BB. However, nothing like this is available.
Furthermore, when backing up contact, calendar etc. is is rather nontransparent what's going on. The program seems to ignore the selection "calendar" or anything else and simply saves everything to my Mac. And this - see above - in a proprietary format which does not allow further use of these data.
Yes, this message addresses someone responsible @ rim. Simply for the fact that the site www.blackberry.com does not provide a link to "contacts" were one could send such complaints.

One Apple ID, two iPhones, same iCloud. How do I get rid of this without losing contacts, calendars etc?

Hi there, hope someone can help.
My mum upgraded about 18 months ago to an iphone 5 and to set it up we used my Apple ID as it was linked to my dads bank card. Had absolutely no problems with this, everything has maintained separate.
However when my mum decided to update to ios7 (and as she is a novice has not backed her phone up since upgrading) At first it appeared that when she updated she had lost all her contacts, calendars etc but this was restored through iCloud.
Now our phones appear completely linked. Eg when I receive a FaceTime call it goes to my mums phone as well.
So is there any way of splitting our iCloud account without having to lose all our data? Especially as my mum has months worth of business meetings. To make it worse we currently live the other side of the country from each other, so going to the Genius Bar seems rather pointless!

OK, I THINK I HAVE FOUND THE FIX TO RESTORE CONTACTS, CALENDAR ETC

Try this.......takes about 2 mins
1. In itunes, top left click edit
2. when it opens click preference
3. when it opens click devices
4. this shows all your back ups
5. select the back up you want.
6. close that window
7. go to your iphone symbol on left and side and click to open
8. click restore from back up and hopefully it will work.
it says it will only work for contacts calendar etc and not change firmware.
I cannot try this as my phone is newer than my back up....different serial etc.
but if someone trys this and it works, please post that it works.

I was wondering if you happen to have any solutions, or what would you personally do in this situation:
After installing new software onto my iPhone, applications are visible in iTunes, I have selected the Applications to sync, and after the sync is finished, the applications are not actually on the iPhone. I have tried several times, which resulted in losing all of my applications from phone. I have troubleshooted and the most useful solution was to do with the restrictions of the App Store, although this is not the case for my scenario.
If you can find a possible solution could you please reply, or even if you cant assist, your help would be much appreciated.

Two different users, same contacts, calendar, etc.

Howdy everyone! I need some help. First, I consider myself fairly smart when it comes to iOS products, etc. so I've tried to mess with this on my own before reaching out to those that are smarter than me.
First, I upgraded my wife's phone and my phone to iOS 8 last night, seamless process.
We share the same contacts and calendar so we've always have used the same icloud account.
Main reason is so that we can share contacts, calendar, etc. We also share the same itunes account so that when we purchase an app or a song, etc. it's on all our devices without having to purchase it twice.
Now, with the new family sharing this isn't an issue.
My question is, well many questions are, now it's giving me troubles. It thinks my phone is my wife's phone and "find my friends" aren't working. It says "can't share location with yourself".
Also, I'm not opposed to using two different iclouds because we have family sharing now, but it's imperative that we see each others location for safety concerns, contacts and calendar.
I can't figure the best way to set this up to fit our needs.

This usually works:
Go to Settings>iCloud, turn Contacts to Off, choose Delete from My iPhone when prompted (they will still be in iCloud).
Download the app My Contacts Backup. Use this to backup the remaining contacts on your phone (from your exchange account) as a vCard attachment to an email that you send to yourself. Confirm that you have received the email.
Go to Settings>iCloud and turn Contacts back to On.
Go to Settings>Mail,Contacts,Calendars>Default Account (in the Contacts section), set this to iCloud. (This will cause new contacts added to your phone to be added to the iCloud account.)
Go to Settings>Mail,Contacts,Calendars and turn off contacts syncing with your exchange account (otherwise you will end up with duplicates on your phone).
Open the My Contacts Backup email and tap the attachment to import the contacts from your exchange account back to your phone and to iCloud.

provided you are using the same Apple ID
for Apps
just launch the App Store App
    tap on Purchased at the bottom of the page.
      tap on particular Apps you want to download and install..
for other items
launch the Settings App
    scroll left pane down a bit, just below Privacy
      tap on iCloud
        Turn on iCloud sharing for particular items
          Contacts, Calendars, Mail, Safari (favorites)
Turn on iCloud sharing on your old devices and your new devices.
Wait 10 or 15 minutes, or so depending on your WiFi network..
    You should start to see these shared items appear on your new device..
You can turn iCloud sharing off on your old devices (and new device)
after you are confident enough items have transferred.

If have separate iCloud accounts and want to keep your all your iCloud data separate, you can create separate user accounts for each of you, then sign into your individual iCloud account within your user account.
If you want to just add both iCloud calendars on your Mac, you can sign into one iCloud account in System Preferences>iCloud, then add the second account in System Preferences>Internet Accounts>iCloud and only check Calendars with this second account.

I'm not going to be of much use regarding answers but I sure am going to watching this post like a hawk for any replies. My package is a slightly diluted version of this and I do find the BBtalk and data limits hard to make the most of as well.
If nothing else this totally highlights how complicated BT have managed to make their packages.
A cynic would assume that they are trying to catch us out at every step and for us to either be overspending or not really getting the moneys worth.
