Importing Crystal report in SAP B1

Hi All,
I have imported crystal report in SAP B1.
In Parameter screen there are 3 parameters.(From Date, To Date and Location).
In that Location should have values from OLCT table.
How can i fill that location text with location name without FMS.

i have a data as below (OPOR table)
DocKey        DocNum             Series                 and other details.........
1                       1                     Primary(i.e any numeric value)
2                       2                     Primary(i.e any numeric value)
so on..................
3                      1                      User Defined(i.e any numeric value)
4                      2                      User Defined(i.e any numeric value)
so on.................
            Now both the series have different period indicator (i.e primary is of default(sap one) and User defined is of 2010-11).
and now whenever i want to show the report for PO No 1 from any of the series it takes both the records!!!

Problem importing crystal report to sap b1 9

Our customer is using sap b1 pl 9
we were importng and updating crystal rerpot to sap regulary through the import wizard
lately while we try to import some rpt fiels when we push the finish button in the import wizred nothing happens and or error massage appears do u have any suggestions ?

I am facing a problem while importing a Crystal Report in SAP Business One, it displaying an error "No matching records found 'Queries' (OUQR) (ODBC -2028) [Message 131-183]" , and there is no use of this table OUQR in the Query.
Kindly let me know the solution.

Hi Rhaul,
i don't exactly know why this is a problem, but if your not on latest (881 p10) then upgrade and try again.
Or as a workaround,
try saveing from CR to SAP with the CR add-on. That usualy works better then the import.

Error while trying to open crystal report with SAP B1 8.8

Hello Experts
    I found one problem when I open my Crystal Report from SAP B1 8.8 then it gives me error like
   "Failed to retrieve data from database. Details : [Database Vendor Code : 156]"
   This report perfectly work while open in crystal report outside from SAP.

I face the exactly same problem, please forgive if i am not suppose to ask the same question in other people thread.
I am using SAP 8.8, PL09, SQL Server 2005, the Crystal Report is working perfectly after import into SAP B1.
However, when i do the same configuration in my customer server, the error message prompt:
Failed to retrieve data from the database.
Detail: [Database Vendor Code: 156]

Error in File Temp {8090e857-e2a3-4fa9-80dc-9e776e5991b8}{0912E6A5-88EF-406C-BD89-0155AE10F045}.rpt:

The server is using SAP 8.8, PL09, with SQL Server 2008.
Could it be some setting require for SQL Server 2008?

Hi Anand.....
You can import Crystal Reports and you can give Authorization for Crystal Reports like normal Authorization as SAP has that Provision.

There is no option anywhere in SBO8.8 as "Crystal report" if you want to use it go to windows start ->program files->SAP Business One you can see there Crystal Report 2008 menu. Once you designed your report in Crystal then you can import it in SBO 8.8 through "Report and Layout Manager" in Administration -> Setup -> General. You can not open Crystal directly from SBO.

Hi,
In your report footer, set it to create a new page before it is printed (In 'Section Expert', select the Report Footer -> 'Paging' tab -> Check 'New Page Before' checkbox). Throw your Terms & Conditions into the Report Footer section.
If you already have a Report Footer that you want to keep, just split the footer into two sections (Right-click the Report Footer section -> 'Insert Section Below') and follow the same procedure for the newly created section.

Print Preview using crystal report in SAP B1 slow.

Dear all,
I face another problem. Print preview using crystal report in SAP B1 is very slow. Although i have create a query view in SQL server but it's still slow for my user. First time i create using table in crystal report. just drag the table. It's take more than 10 minutes. After that i move all the query to view in SQL server , it's take 1-2 minutes to print preview some time more.. But i think that it's still slow. Does any one know how to print preview fast. Just like in PLD.

Error when saving Crystal Report to SAP BW (via SAP toolbar)

Dear Experts -
Our landscape is:
Backend - SAP BW7.4 with Service pack 5
Crystal Version - Crystal Reports 2013 SP1 Patch 6
Business Objects - SAP BI 4.1 SP1 Patch 6
I'm trying to save a crystal report to SAP BW via the toolbar option, but the attached error is being returned.
Also, if I try to create a new report from BW, an error is thrown. 'An error occurred while generating a new report template; No error'.
Any feedback/pointers would be valuable.

I realize this post is a few months old, but did S. B. O. Shell Business One get this issue cleared up by installing the BW transports mentioned in Josh's reply? I'm interested in knowing whether this was resolved as we are receiving the same error as the one shown in the initial post.

Problem opening Crystal Report from SAP GUI through VPN

I am facing an issue with opening the crystal report from SAP BW Role menu(SAP GUI). The issue is only with the BW Users who are connecting to the Client systems through VPN. All the settings are done perfectly in the Transaction /CRYSTAL/RPTADMIN and SICF for the CE_URL.

I'm also facing the same issue. when try to open my report the URL doesn;t taking "bw_id".
It is blank for all transported reports.

Hi,
Basically Crystal report run with SQL statement, I would suggest to do well performance tuning on SQL query / Store Procedure.
Structure your query in DBA manner that will make some how faster such as use ( inner join, less condition,...)..
also if it simple query then use Command in Crystal report rather store Procedure..that make some how Faster your report.

STEP 1: Like any other add-on project, refer SBO UI and DI COM to your project. Initialize SBO APPLICATION object and SBO COMPANY object and listen to events. (This is standard add-on project steps)
STEP 2: Add a Dataset to the project. This is used as a data source to your Crystal Reports. (For more information on this search for Push Technique Crystal Reports)
STEP 3: Add a Windows Form to your Project.
STEP 4: Add a Crystal Report Control to it.
STEP 5: Design report based on dataset added above.
STEP 6: Launch this Form with required parameters and selection criteria when any even happens.
Remember there is lot stuff available on net if you search with PUSH TECHNIQUE CRYSTAL REPORT. SAP SDN has lot answers for adding Crystal Reports integration to SAP Business One Add-On.
