Importing custom pics for controls?

Hello all,
After poking around in the NI Example Finder I found a VI that verifies that I can modify the interface with custom pics and such...  I found it under "Building User Interfaces / Customizing Controls / Using Custom Controls.VI"  I'm trying to find out how they changed the pictures for the sliders and such, but each interface simply has  "Custom pics were imported for the...."  in the properties folder.
...ok, HOW did they import the custom pics?   Maybe I'm making this too hard.  Is there a bitmap image of the slider or knob that that I can modify?  I've done a search in the Knowledge Base, searched on here, searched on LAVA... I'm probably making this too hard, but if someone in the know will point me in the right direction I'd really appreciate it!
Thanks!
Chad

  • Can you import custom templates for keynote?

Can you import custom templates for keynote?

Yes you can. You can import a Motion project file directly into DVD Studio Pro, though when I tried it took a loooooong time (depends on the size and complexity of the project of course). Here's a tutorial on how to do that:
    http://www.wonderhowto.com/how-to-use-dvd-studio-pro-4-with-motion-53426/
OR... you can just export your Motion project and import it into DVD SP as a Quicktime file, and put that in the Menu section. Then you can add your buttons and so forth and proceed from there.
I hope this helps. Good luck!

  • Changing The Speed Dial Icon [Custom Pic For The Top Sites]

how do i change the pic for the top sites on the speed dial. can i use a custom images like on chrome or opera??

You can use virtually any image or link as an email button, the sky is the limit. To do this just insert your image into iweb and click on the inspector button, from here you go to the very last button called the link inspector, enable as a hyperlink and chose an email message. You can then put the url of the email address you wish to link it too. As far as customizing the look I would start with one of the blank page choices. Again to specifically customize the look of your menu or anything else on the page use the inspector. If you want to create your own menu there is an option not to display navigation on your page, and this allows you to have complete control of how your page looks. Create a simple page, open up the inspector, and have some fun creating your own pages. Hope this helps.

  • Custom buttons for control 3d PDF Animate

I am currently using the 3d PDF Animate program distributed by Tetra4d to animate some 3d models that I imported into a pdf.  The only actions that the default buttons provide are Play, PlayAll, Pause, Preivous, Next, First, and Last.  I am trying to create a button that would play specidic steps without having to hit next or previous to get to it, but nothing I try seems to work.  I have no experience in java or javascript so i am basicly just trying to piece things together based on what I see, but as I said, nothing is working.  If anybody has any experience in the program, I would sure appreciate some input.

There are two ways to animate the contents of a 3D annotation - either the keyframe data is stored within the 3D model itself (as a timeline) or JavaScript is used to move each element based on a ticker loop. In both cases there must be a JavaScript controller function attached to the 3D annotation in order for control buttons to work, and when that code is added by a commercial plugin it is usually obfuscated so it cannot be modified.
Aside from inspecting the internal structure of the file, you can tell where the animation comes from by how the inbuilt controls work. Open the properties of the 3D annotation in Acrobat Pro, go to the 3D tab and 'Clear' the embedded script (don't save the file!). Re-activate the 3D scene, and look at the popup toolbar. If there's an embedded timeline, the play/scrub controller on the 3D toolbar will work. If it doesn't, the animation is script-controlled.
With embedded timelines there is usually only one animation (which covers all steps), and the various buttons assigned by the plugin simply refer to start/stop times within that animation - the 'play all' button simply tells the script to ignore all the intermediate markers. If you wanted to play a particular step, you would have to work out the time (in seconds) that the step begins and ends, then add your own code to play through only that range. However, given the code already attached to the annotation cannot be edited or removed without breaking everything, and a 3D annotation cannot have more than one attached script, the only option to make even a minor change would be to write it all again from scratch. That's the disadvantage of using tools like this - they make one thing very easy, but in doing so make it next-to-impossible to change the end result.

  • How to do custom miro for import purchase ?

    Hi All
I want to know what is the process for doing custom miro for import purchase, In my case for some of the excise elements we get credit, so while doing miro how to take care of this ?
    Thanks Rashid.

    Hi,
CVD Account has to be enter in Co cd setting and Excise default setting as per your Tax procedure if it isTAXINJ then JMOD as default excise value for CVD there fore system identifies the CVD as BED( Basic excise) which you can avail credit.
1.Basic customs duty (JCDB) 10%  - Material cost
    2.Education Cess on BCD(JEDB )-2% - Material cost
    3.Secondary edu cess on BCD(JHCS )-1% - Material cost
    4.CVD (JCV1)-- Credit
    5.EDU CESS FOR cvd-2% - Credit
    6.SHE Cess on CVD(J1CV )-1% - Credit
    7.Add duty of customs(JADC) 4% - Credit
    Cycle for Import PO
Import Purchase order: In PO you have to maintain the Custom duties
    1Customs duty (JCDB) 10%
    2Cess on BCD (JEDB)-2%
3Secondary edu cess on BCD (JHCS)-1%
    4.CVD (JCV1)
    5.EDU CESS FOR cvd-2%
    6.SHE Cess on CVD(J1CV )-1%
    7.Add duty of customs(JADC) 4%
You have to enter local custom vendor for above condition type in PO, One main or material vendor which you enter at the top of the PO
Then against the 7 condition types the customs (Local) vendor should be given (i-e) you have to select the condition type then click on the lens icon & give the customs vendor,
And should have zero tax code in PO
2 MIRO for Custom Vendor by selecting planned delivery cost.
    3. Capture Excise Invoice against Commercial invoice (MIRO document no)- J1IEX
    4. MIGO u2013Goods receipt
    5. Post Excise Invoice- J1IEX
    6. MIRO for Import Vendor
    7. Final payment

I have question regarding one data that is mandatory for Croatian foreign currency payment. That is the conclusion number for Control import book.
My question is:  Is there any field in Purchase order that can be transferred to logistic invoice, and then to FI invoice so it can be seen in payment and we can fill that conclusion number in that field.

  • Custom fields for FV50 table control

    Hello,
The customer has a requirement to add 3 text fields to the table control in Transaction FV50. These fields are currently not available in the table control at all (I checked the Table settings Administrator). Further, no Screen/Transaction Variant has been implemented either to prevent these fields from being displayed. Which is why I'd like to find a way to add these custom fields to this table control. These fields are the text descrptions for the numeric fields Cost Center, Fund and Business Area.
I've read many posts on this forum regarding potential solutions including the link below which details the SAP std solution. Only problem is this approach adds these fields to the data dictionary tables underlying the screen. The customer says about 1 million records are being generated a month so they would rather not have all that extra data at the line item level.
    Custom column for FB60
If anybody has done this sort of thing via a user exit I'd much appreciate your input.
    Thanks,
    Tarun

    Hi Rob,
Yes, I checked IMG configuration and found that Txn OXK3 allows us to extend the underlying tables and customize the generic fields in the table control. However, the client  has nearly 1 million postings to table BSEG each month and I'm guessing this approach will entail adding the custom fields to table BSEG, which won't work for them. I haven't actually tried this approach because the SAP documentation has some dire warnings about proceeding. But if you have any insight as to whether this can be achieved without extending BSEG (possibly just extend VBSEGS??) that would be very valuable.
    Thanks,
    Tarun

  • Is it worth it to make custom icons for a custom control/indicator?

I was making custom icons (well not very custom, but still at least somet ext) for controls and indicators, when I realized that the only times you see them are when you open the control, itself, ot if you hover over it in the project with context help on.
    So the question is:
Is it worth it to create a custom icon for each custom control you make, if it will be seen only rarely?  (The exception being a cluster, since, in the later versions of LabVIEW, you can actually represent your cluster on the BD as the icon you made for it, so it definitely IS worth it to make an icon for it.)
    Thanks!

I also hardly ever make a control icon.  Only when it is on the palette in a reuse package.
Yeah,t hat's what I meant in my original post, although you CAN represent a cluster constant on the BD as an icon - but it's just the little thing on the bottom of the typdef'd cluster because it obviously has no actual icon.

  • Auto picking Excise values while booking customs invoice for Import.

    Hi All..
I want to have the excise values(...BED,CVD,CESS,HCESS,SAD...), to be picked up in my MIRO screen while booking  customs invoice for my imports.
These excise values have to be captured based on my PO excise values. As my PO has number of lineitems, its tough to enter the excise values manually one by one while booking my customs invoice (before migo...).
Could you pls share your experience and valuable ideas to capture this automatically.
    Thanks in advance
    R.Kannan..

First  of  all,  as  we do MIRO  before MIGO  in case of imports, the  duties  cannot be defaulted as per standard SAP.  another problem  you will face in applying any exits/enhancements is that Your PO will be in foreign currency ,   you will do  MIRO in INR, at time of MIRO , what  exchange rate do you  expect  system to pick up?  because  customs  have  their own exchange rate  for the month which  is  different  from  the  exchange  rate mantained as per Forex .

  • Setting up Custom Priorities for Taxonomy Attributes through Import Manager

    Hi,
I want to set priority for "n" number of characteristics through Import Manager.
I know Import manager allows us to set priority to one of the following : "Highest" "High" "Normal" "Low" "Lowest". But I have a requirement to set custom priority for each of the attribute through Import manager so as to avoid manual intervention.
Has anybody worked on this before?
    Regards,
    Amol.

    Hi,
Which special properties you are talking about ?
I will just brief you the concepts of Hierarchy and Taxonomy
    Hierarchy
    Node1
    -    Node11
    -   Node12
    Node2
    -    Node21
      --         Node211
Only leaf nodes can be assigned at the time of record creation.
    Taxonomy
Used when particular hierarchy nodes needs some extra fields.
Example: If your hierarchy is like
    Cars
        - Fiat
        - Maruti
    Bikes
        - Hero Honda
        - Bajaj
Now for Cars, i want to store its Price but for Bikes i am not interested in Price but I want the Colour info. Now if you create the Price and Colour as fields of the repository then for all the records whose category is Cars will have NULL value for Colour and reverse in case of Bikes. Hence the concept of Taxonomy is introduced so that you can assign the fields (known as attributes) to the Nodes of the hierarchy.
For Taxonomy Import, refer the below links

  • How do you add a custom avatar pic for the Apple Support account?

I've noticed some people have their own pics for their avatar, not offered in the pics section when you customize your profile settings. I looked for an option to upload a custom profile pic, but couldn't find it; I only managed to find the option for uploading a profile photo, not a custom avatar pic. Thanks in advance.

The ability to add a custom avatar becomes available once you reach Level 3 (=500 points).

  • Customizing Setting for Free Goods Determination

    Hi Friends,
Can any one send me all the customizing settind for free goods determination rathe i have maintained all the settings but when i am creating sales order it's not expoding the free goods. Please rsolve the same asap.
    Many Thanks
    Bharat B

    Dear Bharath bhushan
For Free goods determination in sales order
1.The entire img settings under -sd-basic functions---free goods (i think next to pricing control) all entire settings to be done(i am not with SAP system today so the img path you have to correct it)
Mainly there is one sales area DPP and CPP assignment like pricing procedure assignment is there That has to be done
2.Free goods condition records should be there in VBN1
3.The most important thing your Pricing procedure should have R100 condition type with requirement 55 and alternate base value 28
Without this condition type free will not come in sales order
Free goods are determined by R100 or NRAB condition types
R100 is with requirement 55 and alternate base value 28
NRAB is with requirement 59 and alternate base value 29
Both inclusive and exclusive types are picked by R100
10+1 free (exclusive) for a sales order of 10
9+1 free (inclusive) for a sales order of 10
    Both these uses R100
10+1 free (exclusive) for a sales order of 10
There will be two line items in sales order one with TAN for 10 units and another with TANN for 1 unit
9+1 free (inclusive) for a sales order of 10
There will be two line items in sales order one with TAN for 9 units and another with TANN for 1 unit
    and
inclusive without item generation is also there
This is picked by condition type NRAB
In this case against a sales order for 10 units say each Rs 10 the total value of that sales order will be 90 for 10 items (there wont be any extra item with tann)
There will be only one line item in the sales order for 10 units and there wont be any TANN but the nett value will be  Rs 90
that means 10 % discount spread over the all ordered items without any free item generation
This is inclusive without item generation
While creating condition records in VBN1 we will specify whether it is inclusive or exclusive or inclusive without item generation
Based on this differentiation this will be picked in sales order provide you have maintained both these condition types in your Pricing Procedure with their routines and alternate base values
    Regards

}This calls CheckBoxTableCell.forTableColumn(...) every time it needs a new table cell. If you were doing this in Java, rather than FXML, you'd do
col1.setCellFactory(CheckBoxTableCell.forTableColumn(col1));which creates the cell factory only once. I don't think this is a problem, but if it is you could do something more sophisticated in your CheckBoxCellFactory. (Maybe define a "column" property, which you can set from the FXML, and then define a private Callback which is bound to the column property, assigning it the result of CheckBoxTableCell.forTableColumn(...) when the column property changes.)
