Importing Exchange Rates into Business One Automatically

Good Morning all,
How can I automatically import the exchange rate tables to Business One?
There is one stub called 'Auto Import' in Exchange Rate and Indexes table.  Is it the one to import from external file?  If yes, please explain how to do the same?
Thanks in advance.

Balaji

  • Export and Import Exchange Rate

    Hi,
I have 40 companies in SAP B1. My first problem is that I need to import and export daily the exchange rate from one database to another. My second problem is that some of this companies have a different local currency. How can I do to accelerate import and export process for this companies? SAP B1 provides me a functionality to export exchange rates from two companies with different currency?

  • One Conversion Type and two Exchange Rate Types in one report

I have Conversion Type called TEST. In this Conversion Type there is Exchange Rate Type D selected (D-daily). I have also Fixed Target Currency selected. And the report works perfectly fine....BUT.......there is also Exchange Rate Type M defined in the system (and it used for the exchange rate used last day of the month).
The question is: how to put both Exchange Rate Types into one Conversion Type so both types are used in the reports?

    Hi,
You can go for a variable exchange rate type.
    Creating variable:
For this you have create a varible which can take diffrent exchange rate types.
Open query designer create a new dummy query in that search for infoprovider 0RTYPE.
It will have one dimension(name ->key) with 0RTYPE in it.
    create a variable for 0RTYPE.
    Save and close the query.
goto RSCUR -> give your translation type -> go to exchange rate tab -> choose Ex. Rate from var option -> give the variable you have created prviously for 0RTPYE.
Rest all same but just for completion...
Go to your query in which in u want to do cur conversion.
Double click on the key fig
Go to conversions tab-> select the conversion type u created in RSCUR.
When you run the query you can select the exchange rate type in the variable screen.

  • Guidance - import exchange rate from a webpage

    Hello everyone,
I am now starting a new project and one of the functionalities I wanted to implement is to obtain from a website the exchange rate from one specific currency.
Based on the date and currency I inform in a field, this script, if possible, would consult this webpage and populate another form field with the exchange rate.
    Is this possible?
As additional information, the exchange rate can be easily obtained "manually" by accessing the website and informing a date.
Any thoughts on this will be greatly appreciated! Many thanks in advance.

If is possilbe to use an FDF file to add document level JS functions and values to a PDF even with reader. Opening an FDF with the address for a specific PDF will cause the PDF to be opened and process the data within the PDF.
Automatic Insertion of Document-Level JavaScripts by D.P. Story
So one could use another program to create the text for the FDF.

  • Import Organizations to SAP Business One

    Hi Everyone,
I use BAPI and Batch-Import in order to import Organizations to SAP R/3 (SD).
Today I've got the question whether the things would work in SAP Business One.
I'm never heard about SAP Business One - just the customers asking whether our stuff would work by them.
If not, what would do the job?

  • How can I import Openldap schema into sun one directory server?

    Hello All
I have a schema which was written for openldap, and I want to import this schema into sun directory server. I found that some attribute syntaxes, like "NumericString", are not exist in sun directory server and some attribute definitions are also different. For example, the "internationaliSDNNumber" in sun directory is defined in "IA5String" syntax, but it is "NumericString" in openldap. Is there any effect on querying data from two different ldap server? How can I solve this problem?
    Thank you!

    http://directory.fedora.redhat.com/wiki/Howto:OpenLDAP
    Migration
GaryThanks! But after I use some of scripts in that page, I got
    "Unknown attribute syntax OID "1.3.6.1.4.1.1466.115.121.1.36"
It seems those scripts only transform schema file format, not the gap between different type(attribute syntax). Is it possible to import or add new type(attribute syntax) in sun one directory server?
    Thanks.

  • Importing raw images into lightroom4 without automatically editing.

when importing my raw images into lightroom4 they are automatically editing how do i change this?

My guess is that you just don't understand how Lr4 (and every other raw converter) works.
There is no such thing as viewing a raw file, only viewing the interpretation of a particular converter (of which your camera is the first raw converter to take a whack).
It's time to learn how to edit with Lr4 - what you start with in Lightroom will *always* be different than your camera, or your manufacturer software, or any other raw converter...
(assuming it's not an issue of inadvertently changed default settings or settings applied inadvertently upon import...).
Note: because Lightroom does not take camera-specific things into account, the initial starting point is often less optimized than your camera or manufacturer's rendition (e.g. no luminance noise reduction is applied, active d-lighting is not taken into consideration...)
PS - Lr4/PV2012 rocks - once you learn how to use it - it's the best!
    A couple of specifics:
    * Lr4 defaults to Adobe Standard (see Camera Calibration section in Develop Module), which tends to be run a little magenta-y, a little cyan-y, and a little bright. Consider a camera emulation profile, or try red (primary) hue +7 and blue (primary) hue +10 for portraits that use Adobe Standard (also camera calibration section). Also try pulling the lights slider left in the parametric tone curve. If you like this for some photo types, roll it into a custom profile using DNG profile editor (can even be precisely calibrated for your specific camera).
    * Lr4 includes a little contrast boost that is not represented by the tone curve (nor the contrast slider). If too much for portraits, try -contrast, or -highlights...

  • Import Exchange cert into JVM for CF10

    Hello, everyone.
I'm trying to learn the CFEXCHANGECONNECTION and CFEXCHANGECONTACT tags, and I'm having a bit of an issue.
When I first started playing around with it, I was getting error messages that the connection couldn't be formed because the Exchange server only accepts https connections, so I set the protocol to https.
Then I was getting an error message regarding the "cert not installed in CF server", so I managed to get a copy of the SSL cert (DER format .cer file) and followed instructions on how to import it into the JVM that CF uses.
I'm still getting the error saying that the cert isn't installed in CF server.  Any suggestions?
    V/r,
    ^_^

you need to add the cert to your jvm's keystore
    something like this
    http://www-10.lotus.com/ldd/lcwiki.nsf/xpDocViewer.xsp?lookupName=IBM+Connections+Mail+1.3 +documentation#action=openDocument&res_title=Importing_SSL_certificatesicm13&content=pdcon tent
dont worry its about domino, bottom line its importing a msexchange cert into a java keystore. I use portacle ( http://portecle.sourceforge.net/ ) for managing my java keystores
edit: I use JUST portacle to import they certs, no need to bother with command line, i left it here for the sake of completeness

  • Import Organisations to SAP Business One

    Hi EveryOne,

    Daniel

    Hi Daniel,
There is an integration option between R/3 and SAP BO that uses Netweaver. However, if the customer is asking how you would set up SAP BO in an environment without R/3 then typically you'd use one of the import tools available for SAP BO. There is one called Desktop Transfer Workbench (DTW), supplied by SAP, which can be used to import data in various formats. There is also a SDK which would allow you to develop your own import solutions if required.
    Kind Regards,

  • Import image metadata into Indesign CS5 automatically

    Hi,
I've been looking all over for this and I have found various bits and pieces of information, but nothing comprehensive enough for a beginner. Perhaps I am researching it wrong. Could you please point me to a complete and easy to understand source, or give me some tips and details regarding the process?
I don't know if this makes a difference, but I am trying to export my pictures (there's quite a bit of them, so working in batches is preferable) into a sort of catalogue, and I'd like Indesign to pick up the metadata that was edited in Bridge.
    Thank you in advance.

Metadata is still pretty arcane.  The form that Adobe uses, XMP, is designed for automated software manipulation, but the software hasn't reached the point-and-shoot stage.
Now that forum-searching seems to have been fixed, searching for "metadata captions indesign" may turn up useful threads, such as this one for CS4, mentioning a script that can pull metadata from an image for use as a caption in an ID file.
On a more arcane level, when exporting to PDF InDesign does pick up and pass on "object-level metadata" for continuous-tone images: selecting an object with Acrobat 9 Pro's Touch-up Object and then right-clicking will let you choose Show Metadata for the object: the individualized metadata survives, though seeing it takes some doing.
    Good luck!

  • Imported iPhoto library into Aperture - one problem so far

Why are all the pictures that I imported that had been edited in iPhoto using PSE8 shown as blurry globs instead of being sharp?

I had a similar experience when I recently got Aperture. Then I noticed "processing" down at the bottom of the screen. Evidently, Aperture has to process all the pictures, but eventually, they'll all be sharp as they were before--mine are now.
If you double click on a picture, you will immediately see it as a sharper image.
The larger your photo library, the longer it will take for the pictures to clear up.

  • Import PO picking wrong exchange rate

    Hi,
Import PO is picking worng exchange rate. we have maintained ZIMP ERT for import exchange rate but system is picking ZEXP ERT for import.
    Please advise.
    Regards,

    Hello Ravi,
    1. Check the exchange rate maintained in OB08 for the currencies that involved in the F-02 postings on which you are trying to post the document (ie., Posting Date of the doc -> Check for the posting date of the doc and the rate maintained for that particular date in OB08)
    2. Check the 'Source Currency' field in OB22 transaction. This controls whether the translation curr base should be either your transaction currency or 1st local currency.
    3. Check the ratio maintained for the currencies that involved for translation in OBBS transaction. Is it 1:100 or 100:1
