Importing existing web url into .Mac

I apologize if this has already been covered. I have an existing website and I see that I can import that domain into iWeb. My question or questions: once I import it can I make edits to it and can I adjust it to any of the layout templates that are in iWeb? Thanks!

You would contact the company who registered your domain name and get them to redirect it to your .Mac site.
You might want to look at this page for more info....

Access to the Software Image, PAK and License File
The product numbers ordered for Prime Collaboration are: R-xxx and L-xxx. They result in an email being sent to the ordering ship-to email address providing instructions to access the Cisco eDelivery site to download the software image(s) and license Product Authorization Keys (PAKs) you ordered. The software image is downloaded and installed on the host server. The license PAK ID from the ESD site allows you to access the Cisco Licensing Site to associate the server MAC address to a license key or keys that are then installed on the host server(s). These license keys activate the Prime Collaboration software to be used in a production environment. These license keys also convert a trial installation into a production environment.

  • Import existing web content.

    Hello,
We have an existing internal web site that I would like to bring into Portal Page Groups. The content is mostly static HTML with relatively linked images and docs. Is there a script or procedure for doing this?
    Thanks for any assistance.

To import existing Web content, OracleAS Portal offers a number of content integration technologies (ZIP files, WebDAV, Omniportlet, and APIs) which may help you migrate your existing Portal content/static content to OracleAS Portal:
    1) ZIP file item type (accessible from the add item wizard) - allows you to upload static content and associated images very easily into a portal page/page group - all in just one single operation. Zip File items make it very simple to stage and maintain formerly static HTML Web sites.
    2) WebDAV i.e. drag and drop the content. You can set a default region for which the content ends up in. More information is available at this link below:
    http://portalstudio.oracle.com/pls/ops/docs/FOLDER/COMMUNITY/OTN_CONTENT/MAINPAGE/PUBLISH_CONTMGMT/TECHNOTE_WEBDAV.HTML
    3) From Portal version 9.0.2.6 onwards, content area APIs are available. See the portalstudio link below for more details.

    4) Omniportlet & Web Clipping: Web Clipping may be considered for use as an intermediate step to display data from an external site within your Oracle Portal. More information here:

  • Why won't album artwork import from a CD into Mac iTunes?

I used to have a Windows version of iTunes, and when I imported CDs, the album artwork was automatically added. However, now I'm using Mac iTunes on an iBook, and when I import the very same CDs, no album artwork is added on any of them. I've also noticed that when I transfer the archived songs from the Windows hard drive (via a flash drive) to the Mac iTunes, the artwork is there -- it's just not adding the artwork when I import the CDs directly into Mac iTunes. Is there a setting I'm missing?

Standard Audio CDs don't come with artwork.
Some recent CDs might, but I've never seen them.
I guess there was an iTunes plug-in or similar utility on your PC that searched for artwork and added it.
To add artwork on a Mac there are several scripts (www.dougscript.com) and programs that can find it for you.
Search on versiontracker.com for Clutter, iTunescool, Fetch Art

  • How to import existing jsp project into jdeveloper

can someone help me how to import existing jsp project into jdeveloper?
can give me step by step to import..cause i am new for jdeveloper..
    thank you very much

Well there are two options - if you have a WAR file with the code in it, then you can use the file->import WAR.
Or you can use the new->Project from source code.
Note that you'll probably need to do some library settings and some directory setting after that.
Have a look at this demo for basic steps:

  • Import Existing EAR file into JSE  8

    Hi
Can anyone tell me how I can import an existing EAR file (generated outside of SJSE) into sun Java Studio Enterprise 8 using it to creating a project so I can use JSE8 as my development tool? The EAR file has been exported including the source code.
    Thanks
    John.

There is create new Enterprise Application with Existing Source option in
File -> New Project -> Enterprise wizard.
This imports an existing enterprise application into a standard IDE project.
    The enterprise application must conform
to the J2EE BluePrints Project Conventions for Enterprise Applications
    (see http://java.sun.com/blueprints/code/projectconventions.html).
This wizard also imports components that are nested in the enterprise application.
Standard projects use an IDE-generated Ant build script to build and run your project.

  • How to Import Outlook Address Book into Mac Address Book?

I will be making an employment change and need to import my pc Outlook addresses into my mac email addresses. After repeated emails to Apple and apple support phone calles no one can help because I am not going from a mac to a mac. Unbelieveable. Actually it's not-the lack of customer services these days should not surprise me.
Anyway, anyone know how to do to save me having to re-type hundreds of addresses?
    Thanx!
    Powerbook G4   Mac OS X (10.4.6)

You need to export your Outlook contacts into a VCard format.
There are many programs out there that will do this for bulk jobs. But, you can do it for free if you are willing to do it manually.
Select each contact one at a time from Outlook. Then, go up to the menus (I think it's the file menu) and choose export, then choose to export it as a VCard.
I'm not in front of a PC. But, I remember doing it that way for about 80 something cards when I moved from my PC.
Once you have them in a VCard format, you can just drag and drop them into Apple's Address Book.
It takes some time to do it this way if you have a ton of contacts. But, it does work.
I think the PC format might be VCF but it is VCard.
Apple uses a different format of VCard than Microsoft does. So, you won't be able to use Microsoft's Export to export all the cards at one time.
That method will not allow you to import them into Apple's address book since they are different formats.
But, it will work if you export each individual record one at a time, and then drag each one into Apple's Address Book.
Additionally, if you find a web-mail service like GMail or Yahoo, or something like that that can synchronize with both the PC and the Mac, then you could try moving it to one of those services and then to Apple's address book.
For an automated system, check out:
    http://www.littlemachines.com/
You can also read Apple's document on the subject here:
    http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?path=AddressBook/4.0/en/ad808.html
    Hope this helps.

  • Importing existing JFrame class into a new Java Studio Enterprise 8 project

I have taken over the re-development of some old code, and have imported it into the Java Studio IDE. However, the help files seem to indicate that I cannot use the Form Editor to make changes to the existing JFrame object. It can only be used if you created the object from within the Studio.
Is this correct? If so, has anyone devised a reasonable work-around besides manually making the changes? (The biggest problem with this approach is that they don't seem to appear in the Form Editor; I would have to make the changes there manually too). The GUI is somewhat complex, and would be a real pain to recreate from scratch.
    Any help is greatly appreciated.
    ~Brian

The following is a FAQ item on generating form files from existing class files:
    http://www.netbeans.org/kb/faqs/gui-editor.html#FaqFormGeneratingFormFile
Can I generate the .form file for an existing class?
    Unfortunately no.
NetBeans form editor is not able to regenerate a missing .form file for GUI classes, or to generate a .form file for GUI classes not originally created in NetBeans.
However, there are some external tools trying to address this problem, e.g. FormGenerator.
There are two such utilities available at:
    http://contrib.netbeans.org/servlets/ProjectDocumentList
    ( FormGenerator.zip and FormGenerator2.zip ).
You may want o backup existing .form files, generate new ones from the classes with either of the above utilities and then compare the two versions.

  • How to import a web service into labview and make the assembly strong named signed?

I have used the web services tool to import my .net project files. I am then putting them into clearcase. In order for my dll's to work on a network im getting the error that they need to strong named signed. Is there anyway of strong name signing them with in the web services tool, or modifying the dll's after they've been created? Thanks for any help!

    dbell0971,
I appreciate your willilngness to help on this issue.  However, it doesn't seem like we are on the same page here.
When you import a webservice it creates an assembly.  That assembly is .NET.  In general you cannot run an assembly on a shared drive unless it is "trusted".  You can make the assembly trusted by adding some classes and properties to it (i.e. strong signing it)- http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/xc31ft41.aspx
However, since WE are not creating the assembly, LabVIEW is, then we don't have the source code so we can't just strong sign it.
The question is simple- Can the Import Web Service Utility strong sign the assembly it creates?
    Thanks,

  • Bug when importing existing mp3's into Library?

    Hey All-
Hopefully this is an easy problem to fix! I just imported my entire mp3 collection which on my HD labeled like this:
    D:\mp3\Artist - Album\01 - Track Name.mp3
... and so forth. I have spent alot of time making sure all my tags are correct; each mp3 has ID3v1 and ID3v2 Tags which are synchronized.
When I import this folder; D:\mp3 into iTunes it correctly displays the Artist and Album information, but it screws up the Track Name. Instead of showing the Track Name only in the browser view, it shows:
    Artist - Track Name
Interestingly enough, when I play a file, the iTunes then recognizes the Track Name properly and resets the view to the proper Trackname only.
Here is a picture which accurately shows the problem:
    http://img418.imageshack.us/my.php?image=itunesbug9st.jpg
If I then sync this entire library to my iPod, the track names have this same layout; Artist - Trackname.
Obviously I can't go through 5000 or so songs and play them all until they are displayed properly... is there anything else I can do?
    Thanks!
    Erik

I think I know the answers to your questions, but your use of DVD/CD (it's one or the other) and lack of precision of the issue isn't making this easy without turning this into a long post of every possible thing that could be happening.
Seeing Track#1, Track#2, etc. is typical when you import an audio format CD and do not have a feature activated that fetches track names from the Internet.  Even if you do, if you save those files in WAV format they will not retain the names when backed up.  Audio format CDs themselves do not contain track information.
AAC format files do retain track information (as internal tags), as do mp3 files.  Again this is providing you saved the files when that information was present in the file.  If that information is in the file then when you add the file to iTunes it should show up in iTunes even if the file name doesn't show it.
iTunes will not identify an audio file from just looking at it, not even if it is in an album.  If you had stuck the CD into the computer and had the feature activated in iTunes, then it would compare the CD characteristics with a large database (Gracenote) and recover the track information for the CD itself, but not with a collection of mp3s or AACs.  There are supposed to a few attempts to do this by third party utilities (none of which I can remember but a web search should reveal some) but not with overwhelming success.

  • Import Outlook 2010 contact into Mac OS X Address Book

    *Help needed!*
In our company, we run PCs with Windows XP and MS Office 2010. For private usage I have a MacBook with Snow Leopard.
Since quite I while, I am trying to export the contacts from my Outlook 2010 address book into the preferred Address Book on my Mac. However, It does not work anymore.
I had found a simple way which worked well as long as my company was using the old MS Office. I simply sent the contacts from Outlook to Mac as attached files via email and could easily drag and drop them onto the desktop and further into the Address Book. Now coming from Office 2010, the addresses cannot be imported anymore.
The Finder on my Mac recognizes the files on the desktop but I can neither import nor drag-and-drop them into my Address Book.
Happy for any hint you give me!

Figured out what was happening here. It seems that even though a new contact is synced immediately (from MobileMe to the iPhone), categorization data is NOT -- it seems to take hours until this data gets updated.

  • Import existing XSD's into Jdev to generate WSDL

Is there a way to import XSD's into an existing project in JDeveloper, so I can use them to generate an WSDL.
The only option I see now, is to create an empty xsd an copy/paste the content of the already existing xsd into the project.
My fealing says there must be a more elegant way to do this.

    Chris,
Thanks for the quick answer. sorry for the late response...
Had to look close, because in step , you have the option to import Java Content, where I wanted to import xml. The header 'Java content' is misleading, I found out.
Anyway, thanks and congratulations on the birth of your daughter Jessica.
