Cant buy UK TV show from USA store

Really miffed! I am in UK and want to purchase the complete series of The Bionic Vet - a UK TV show but only the USA store has it yet I cant purchase it because I am in UK. Nice one!

We are fellow useres here on these forums, you're not talking to iTunes Support nor Apple.
It's the TV company/rights-holder's choice as to where their series is available to buy, Apple can only sell items where they have licenses to sell them. You can try requesting that the series be added to the UK store, but unless the rights-holder agrees to it then Apple won't be able to sell it here : http://www.apple.com/feedback/itunes.html

How to get apps from usa store

I want to add apps from the usa but cant believe its such a task or not possible to do,Why is it that we in south africa cant download any app anywhere in the world.

If you want workarounds, you can Google something like "how to create an US App Store account", since teaching you how to do it here would be against the forum policies.
But be sure, it is possible.

MPEG-4 file - can this we changed when it imports from iTunes store?

I recently signed up for iTunes and I was wanting to import songs using the MP3 format, but each time I download it comes through as MPEG-4. I want to use the songs in my family video I'm creating through Roxio Easy Media Creator, but it only accepts MP3's. How do I change the setting so when I download from the iTunes store it comes through as an MP3, not MPEG-4? I've tried everything.
I'm also doing this on Windows XP pc - in case it makes a difference. Any help is greatly appreciated. I'm going crazy trying to figure this out.

EG1974 you can get your iTunes file to MP3 or WAV but the process is a bit convoluted. You'll also lose some quality in the conversion process but you will have something you can play in your car or mp3 player (If it's not an ipod).
1) In preferences/Advanced/Burning
Choose disk format and burn the songs to Audio CD.
2) Once you have done that, again in preferences/Advanced/Importing
Change your import settings to MP3 encoder or WAV encoder and setting to Good Quality 128kbps (I find this works on just about every type of player) then load your CD, import your songs back into iTunes as mp3's. You'll then be able to import the tracks into roxio
At the end of the process you should finsh with both the original & mp3 version in your iTunes libary.

I have been in the past an instructor teaching Photoshop at private, trade, and University schools. I know what the schools are turning out. The educational system in the US is ghastly imbalanced in best practices, mechanicals, and basic knowledge on how to build files. Art colleges are the worst offenders. We often look towards our educational system as the all knowing place to learn, but again, the disconnect between human behavior, life experience, environment and tools are missing in US schooling.
With the advancement of the software the files and art is actually getting worse. It's a trend that has been happening for many years - about as long as I have been ******** on this forum. It's kind of expected due to more and more "general population users" having access to computers and personal devices, but for Adobe to continue to ignore this issue is corporate suicide. The software becomes far more complex as they add new users. There is a fine line between unbridled creativity and job control. As of now with the current open architecture of Adobe products, users are fumbling around to no end trying to educate themselves as best they can, or want to, to create a final project. With that clearly understood, Adobe REALLY needs to rethink their product and how to assist users in creating art. They do what they can and what they know without stifling so called creativity, but I clearly see the company only focusing on unlimited features with no end in site. The problem with that philosophy is that eventually your client base gets burned out with wonderful toys if all you are doing is creating the same garbage day in and day out. This is not to speak to everyone though. Camera RAW and Lightroom are AMAZING technologies but again island software development is not the solution for Adobe to create a locked in industry standard workflow that assist ALL users in better controllable art processes.
People are looking for guidance and solutions to make projects run smoother, but the problems are clearly in implementation. I know Chris Cox likes to tell me Im a blow hard in so many words and just because Adobe products don't do what I think they should do, does not discount the fact that everyone makes mistakes in jobs. If the software can't assist users in creating a higher level of reliability as you pass on files, then eventually the company will run out of people who want to bone up to the next version. The only way they are going to keep this pace is by shutting down backwards compatibility, but that in itself is a delicate topic that may damage sales to no end.
Other then that, if Adobe wants to continue their current path of ignorance, I could care less as I count my stack of green backs from the mess their products leave behind, but what do I know....

You would have to be physically located in the U.S in order to use the U.S iTunes store.

Does anyone know how a U.K user can download music from the U.S.A. store?
There are several iTunes only albums that are only available from iTunes U.S.A. store that I would like to own.

The issue of cross store purchasing comes up frequently so I'll just quote one of the most complete explanations (courtesy of Dave Sawyer) from the many given:
The content owners do not allow cross-border sales from any of the legal download stores (not Apple or the proprietors of any of the other large stores..... though I believe there are a few exceptions among smaller/specialist vendors). You must therefore have legal residence in the country of the iTunes Store you wish to use. So in order to buy from another country's iTunes Store, you must (as proof of residence) have either:
a) a credit card issued by a bank in that country with a billing address also in that country, or
b) a mailing address for your residence in that country and a gift certificate or a prepaid card that was bought in that country.
If you cannot fulfill one of these two sets of conditions, you will not be able to purchase from any given country's iTunes Music Store.
This, again, is due to restrictions placed on Apple by the record companies and other rights holders (who are often completely different from country to country and so all require their own individual negotiations and contracts), not by Apple's choice.

Please keep in mind that Aperture is not an enhanced iPhoto, it is a different application with a different philosophy and a different intended audience. If you approach it with that in mind you will have a lot less frustration as you learn Aperture.
Aperture adds a layer of complexity that is not needed by many. iPhoto is a very powerful application and fits the needs of many amateur photographers.
As for your original issue, as I said I am surprised that iPhoto allows you do switch countries like that and am not surprised that Aperture doesn't. If this is something you really need to do working in Aperture but using iPhoto to order the prints is a good work around and will not be all that difficult to do once you get the hang of it.
As for your new question, the books in iPhoto and Aperture are different enough that the code that created the book in iPhoto wouldn't work in Aperture. What happens when you import an iPhoto library into Aperture is that the images in the book are combined into an album in Aperture with the same name as the iPhoto book. You will need to re-create the book in Aperture uaing the images in this album.

You can send it to someone you know in the US to have them take it in for service or you can get on a plane and take it there yourself. You can not ship it to Apple in the US for service.
