Importing Item Price using oInventoryGenEntry doesn't take new price

Hi Experts,
I have created a DTW Import file and it is able to import Item's Price & Quantity via Inventory>Goods Receipt. But when I import the second time with different price (to create FIFO layer) than the previous, the system is still taking the previous price.
Please advice.

Thanks for the reply. But I have solved this issue by choosing the pricelist other than the Last purchase Price list which is selected by default.
In GroupNum field in header file, I mapped the price list which solved my issue.

Not sure if you are stalled by a firewall or security in your web application or other mishap. Can you take a look at the relevant log at the server site? Look at the .log files at j2ee/home/log/. From *-web-access.log, you can determine if your url request indeed hit your server. From application-deployments/<youApp>/application.log, you would see the relevant exception.

CRM Extended BP using EEW doesn't create new BW datasources

Hi,
I am working on the BW reporting for a new CRM 5.0 project. Our CRM consultant has extended the Business Partner with additional tables using the Easy Enhancement Workbench (EEW). The CRM help text suggests that the EEW will create a datasource per table, but it hasn't happened. The enhance was marked BW relevant. Help text link is below -

Hi Rosa,
We raised a ticket with SAP and went through a number of attempts. Found that the problem was because we hadn't defined the BW source system in the CRM client (using transaction EEWC) BEFORE the enhancement was created. Regenerating isn't enough, so for the valid datasource a recreation was necessary.
Sorry for not adding the answer sooner, the problem dragged on for months.

Import item stock quantities exported from previous application using DTW

Hi
I have a exported all the stock data (qty OnHand in all Warehouses) from the previous application that is replaced B1. I can not find a template which allows me to import these stock data using DTW. Stocktaking does not work since I don't have prices for these items.
I just want to import all the quantities. How can I do that?

You can still do it without the price using the StockTaking template.
In the Stock Posting tab of Initial Quantities, Inventory Tracking, ... screen Check the box
Allow Inbound Posting without Price

You cannot import data prepration templates>>Testcase1_Test Data for Import function>Oitems directly.
You will have to do certain prerequisites like setting CommissionGroup, CommissionPercent, CommissionSum,CustomsGroupCode etc., in SAP before importing Items.
So I would like you to try out with minimum fields in the template and import. After understanding, you can import the required fields.
I suggest you to use the template from "C:\Program Files\SAP\Data Transfer Workbench\Templates\Templates\oItems"

Import items to a bin using jsx scripting

I am working on creating a panel for premire pro cc 7,1 using eclipse and jsx scripting, I have to import files to premiere based on some external parameters, sometimes i need to import items inside a bin, I am facing problems to import the items to a bin, with the samples codes I am having I am only able to import to the root project. Is it possible in the new premiere pro cc 7.1 (from jsx scripting/qedom) we can import files directly under a bin.
qe.project.importFiles(import_these) <-- import items to project
I am using windows 7, eclipse kepler, premire pro cc 7.1, extendscript toolkit cc.

I wasn't clear if you were using the "Set Logging Bin" command in the Browser - though you probably were ... If not:
Control Click on the bin you want & select >Set logging bin (or File>Set Logging Bin). Once that is done, any files brought in through any means (including keyboard shortcut) should end up in the newly designated bin. FCP displays a slate on the left side of the icon to show which bin is set as the default.
I'm not aware of a way to change the selection of a bin without using the mouse, though, you might be able to generate your own shortcut should you choose to do so.

My iPad2 works great now after IOS 8.1 Update
I did my iPad2 update thru iTunes on my iMac and it was sucking the iMacs memory very low during the update. Safari froze before loading the first web page and I did a hard boot and went fishing as I saw where it was going to take a long time to recover. When I tried again it wasn't quite right and then did one more hard boot and then did a Reset by going to General-Reset-"Reset all Settings" and it works real well now without loosing any data and in-home wi-fi clocks at 17Mbps download. Probably like most of you I’m sticking with OSX 10.9.5 Mavericks as it gets the job done very nicely and don’t need all that extra fancy stuff that probably will slow things down.

Norton has had over 5 months to work in their Firefox extensions, since the API's were locked for 4.0. Ask Norton why they pull this crap every time Mozilla releases a new version of Firefox. When Firefox 3.6 was released mid-January 2010, it took Norton until almost April to come up with a working version of their Firefox extensions.

How do use home sharing to import items from other iTunes library?

Okay - the help section in iTunes is not helpful. I am trying to import items from my girlfriend's library and vice versa. We have home sharing turned on. I can see her library and she can see mine. According to the HELP section, I should be able to choose a cateogry i.e. MUSIC. Then there is supposed to be a "Show" menu at the bottom of the iTunes window and I should choose "items not in my library" then select the items I want to import and click import.
PROBLEM: I can choose a category but there is no SHOW Menu at the bottom of the iTunes window which allows me to select items and import them into my library.
Suggestions???

Well I guess I am not sure now that you asked.
In ITunes - under "Preferences" I have Sharing turned on so it says sharing my library on local network.
AND
In ITunes - under "File" I have Home Sharing turned on.

How long does it take to import a library using home sharing?

I have about 82GB of music on an older iMac and want to import it permanently into the iTunes on a newer iMac but have never done this before.
Before I start, I'd like to know if I'm going to be tying up my computers for a week!
Should I go for the whole 4,000-plus songs at once, or should I try to plod through playlist by playlist and tell it each time not to import songs that may already be in the new computer. (If I do that, will the song show up in the playlists anyway?)
How have other users approached this with large libraries and what has their experience been like? I'm so glad there's a community here to share their experiences and help other Apple owners!

To transfer your songs, don't use Home Sharing. It uses your network to transfer the songs, and it will be so slow (days or weeks to transfer 82 GB).
Instead, you can copy the whole iTunes library to an external disk and transfer it to your new iMac > http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1751 This is much faster and useful, because you will transfer all your iTunes data from your old Mac, not only songs

Important: Item Disappears form Item Dashboard when used in Initiative

I have one urgent question. I am seeing one strange thing. When a PPM Item is created and lets say this Item has a role A with 'Write' access on it. When I log in as Role A, I can see the PPM Item on the Item Dashboard. But the strange thing is when an Initiative is created by Role B ( this Initiative has both 'Write' access for roles B and role A) and the above PPM Item is added. Then when I log in as Role A, I cant see the PPM item on Item Dashboard. To see the PPM Item as Role A, I have to go to Initiative first and then see added items and there I can see the above PPM Item but not directly from Item Dashboard. Can someone throw some light as why PPM item disappears from Item dashboard for Role A, even when Role A has write access on the PPM Item, after item is used in a initiative.

How to specify warehouse in item object using set GL Method by Warehouse

Hi all,

I have a sdk to import item master from excel using item object. In general setting, the default warehouse was not set. Therefore, when the program creates the item master, it will first set GL Method by Item Level in order to take in the warehouse code from the excel file and after the item master created, sdk will change the set GL Method from item level to warehouse using object cos customer wants item to manage by warehouse. This sdk was working fine until recently it upgraded to 2007 whereby the change of set GL Method is no longer available using object except thru B1 interface.

Does anyone know any workaround?

This code is working on 2007. What is the error message you get when you change the G/L method by WH?
Try it to change in SAP B1 GUI an item G/L Method tp WH which has been added via your code , I think settings of G/L Account is missing.....
And check that the Addd all warehouse is not checked in the System Settings.

Two steps:
you can first transfer photos from iPhone to computer and then drag them to the external hard drive. For your iTunes library, you can follow:
1. Quit iTunes.
2. Locate your external drive.
Mac: On the desktop or Finder sidebar.
3. Locate your iTunes folder:By default, the iTunes folder is located in:
Mac: Finder > username > Music
4. Drag the iTunes folder to your external drive. This can take a while if you have a lot of items.
6. When the transfer is complete, your iTunes Library will have been successfully copied to your external drive.
