Importing packages user defined

i had developed java file for constants in a package name com.leave.app.greg and another file name leave servlet. in which im importing the above package,all this i had stored in Tomcat WEB-INF which includes a directory called classes in that there are 3 more directories namely model,servlets and utils the leave servlet java file is stored in servlet directory and the constant file is stored in utils directory
on compiling the leaveservlet im getting the error as packge.com.leaveapp.greg does not exists,[ls tell me wht the problem is

WEB-INF\classes\Sec\register.class.
now I want my register.clas call my Connectionpool class , I got error package is not there.
I try to put pool package in \WEB-INF\lib\pool got same error.
how to add pool into classpath??
on my classpath i have some like
D:\Microsoft SQL Server 2000 Driver for JDBC\lib\msutil.jar is ont point to the jar file in library , but to the jdbc driver.

Importing entire user defined packages......

When I try to import all the classes from a package using the * symbol
(as in: import shapes.*;)
I get the following error:
bad class file.
class file contains wrong class: shapes.RightTriangle
Please remove or make sure it appears in the correct subdirectory of the classpath.
However if I import the classes individually,
import shapes.RightTriangle;
import shapes.Circle;
import shapes.MyRectangle;
etc......
It works fine. I haven't a clue why this is happening, can anybody help me?

The shapes package contains five .class files(no .java files):
Circle.class
RightTriangle.class
MyRectangle.class
Figure.class (abstract class for above base classes)
DrawFigure.class (interace used for drawing the different)
It is in the same directory as my main program .java and .class files.
I currently import all these .class files individually as in
import shapes.Figure;
import shapes.DrawFigure;
import shapes.Circle;
import shapes.RightTriangle;
import shapes.MyRectangle;
The next few lines of code are:
public class TestFigure1 extends Applet
MyRectangle rect1;
RightTriangle tri1;
Circle circ1;
public static void main(String argv[])
This compiles and runs without any problems.
However, I know it should be possible to import the entire shapes package in one go, so I replace the individual import statements with:
import shapes.*;
Now the compiler returns the error message I described above.
Any ideas?
P.S. How would I type the fully qualified path for the shapes directory?
It is located at C:\myjava\Figures\shapes
For example:
import myjava.Figures.shapes.Circle;

If you need to only export and import the triggers, then you have to generate the script for all the triggers(manually or using the DBMS_METADATA.GET_DDL.
dbms_metadata.get_ddl(object_type => 'TRIGGER', name => 'TEST_TRIGGER');
to get the script of all the triggers associated with a table
SELECT dbms_metadata.get_ddl(object_type => 'TRIGGER', name => trigger_name) FROM user_triggers WHERE table_name = 'EMP';

User Defined Function Missing In EF 6?

appear when I try to select the function in intellisense and the model doesn't recognize this function as a method on the EF context. How do I call this function in EF 6?

What is your UDF? If it is a TVF, starting from EF5, it is supported already:

However, it is a scalar function, unfortunately, as far as I know, even entity framework 6 doesn't suport generating calls for scalar functions by default. The workaround is to write a custom method like this inside your DbContext class, for example, there

DTW user-defined object issues

Dear all,
I've tried to import a user-defined object with a template through DTW.
However, I got an error message "To generate this document, first define the numbering series in the Administration moduleApplication-defined or object-defined error.
Any ideas?

Hi,
It is a limitation of the UDO that it is not possible to enter new values via DI or DTW.
There is a way to automatically fill your object's user tables. Please see the Note [804685|https://websmp130.sap-ag.de/sap(bD1odSZjPTAwMQ==)/bc/bsp/spn/sapnotes/index2.htm?numm=804685] for more details regarding the issue description and the workaround available.

How to use user-defined packages in JAX-RPC web service

I am trying to use Object of my class located in my package in jax-rpc webservice,the code is

Temp is located in Hello package,I have jar the Hello package as Hello.jar and has set its classpath in targets.xml of Ant tool.
The code compiles well and service is deployed successfully,but when i try to call the service from the client its gives me following error.

Please tell how to use user-defined packages and class in jax-rpc service code ,i am not talking about passing user-defined parameters i am just talking about making objects of user defined classes in jax-rpc service.I think there is some problem in classpath.
Please guide me in doing that.

I don't know if your error is about a missing class from your custom package, ... what track did you followed to say that?
To use your package in the implementation of you web service, you should only follow the rules of making a web application: put your package jar in your \lib directory inside WEB-INF/ or your package classes unjared in classes (also in WEB-INF/).
As I already said, I have doubts that your error should be originated from a missing class from your package, but:
-try to see the logs (errors?) when you deploy your web service that could give a hint about the problem.
-try to see if you can access your endpoint through your browser to see if there is a online status
-display your config/WSDL file, and the steps you did to build your web service.

Java User-defined packages problem!

The code for Balance.java is as follows..

now ur first class has this as first line

now put this same line also in the other class as firat line
and remove that import statement since both r in same package so no
need to import it ok

create a folder call mypack and put this both the classes in that folder
say its c:\mypack\ur classes
now in dos prompt

is it possible to return more than 1 value when using user-defined function in package?

I'll try to describe my situation. My need is to find correct client type by its cid number. If it's individual (ct.officialtype = 3) then function returns 3. If it's not individual (ct.officialtype <> 3) then function should check ENTERPRISETYPE.id, 910 is small business (function should return 1), else it returns 2. You can find my try below, it returns

what you are referring to is not javascript.
it is JSP scriptlets. These are very different.
In order to keep a strict separation between View and Controller, it is not possible to run arbitrary java code from within your UIX code.
However, you can run java code from within a UIX event handler; see:

Dose oracle.sql.ArrayDescriptor support the user defined type in package?

I get a obstacle in calling stored procedure by using JDBC driver (ojdbc14.jar).
I have the following code:
create or replace package xxx AS
type var_table is table of varchar2(50);
procedure(parameter in var_table);
end xxx;
When I use the jdbc driver try to create a type for
oracle.sql.ArrayDescriptor arrayDes = oracle.sql.ArrayDescriptor.createDescriptor( "var_table ",connection);
The SQLException is thrown out like those:
Invalid name pattern:user_schema. var_table
So, my question is : Dose oracle.sql.ArrayDescriptor not support the user defined type in package? And I also tried to define such type by using sql "create xxxx" outside of package, then there is no SQLException.

To my knowledge, the Oracle JDBC driver does not support using the ArrayDescriptor for array data types (varray or nested table) that are defined inside of a package. The same is true for StructDescriptor as well. If you want to use array and object data types, you must define them outside of a package. Then you'll be able to use the descriptors in your JDBC programs.

I suppose u did not do the following..
1. Open DTW, in the menu click on advanced and clik on maintain interface...
2. Now here select the UDT which u want to impot the data.
3. right click on the UDT and click on Create template for structure
4. NOw u use this tempalte and try.
Please inform of the outcome so that i can think of another soluton.

How to import User-Defined Libraries to ODI?

I am trying to execute Java programs using ODI. There are many User-Defined classes imported in the programs.
I have these User-Defined classes in JAR form.
My ODI is setup on a linux system.
So, where should these JAR files be uploaded in the system so that it can be imported in the Java programs?

My ODI is installed on a linux system and I am using it on my desktop through a remote desktop connection.
I connect to it using Tarantella account. Here I have to create a session and a view to use the ODI.
So, when I am looking in the linux system for the <ODI_HOME>/oracledi/drivers folder, I am finding a lot of them.
So, Please help me in locating the exact one where I need to put the JAR files.
