Importing Song From iCloud Drive to GB IOS

I have been saving my GB ios songs to icloud, consequently my iPad is getting full (32gb). Now that my song is in iCloud Drive may I delete the song from my iPad and if needed later import it back to my iPad?  If so, what is the procedure? Thanks.

I see (I think).
If you mean Garageband, then if you delete a file from the iPad, it will also be deleted from the dedicated Garageband folder in iCloud.

How do I import song from iCloud bac to my Computer?

    Hey figgysee,
Thanks for the question. It sounds like you wish to download a previous purchase from iTunes in the Cloud. The following article outlines how to do so:

  • How to import songs from external drive to itunes in Leopard?

my computer had issues after installing leopard and i had to erase everything on my computer. since all of my music files from itunes are on my external hard drive, they are safe! but now that i'm starting from scratch on my iBook, how do i tell the computer to import all my music files to my itunes?
i mean, i know how to click one song at a time and import them one at a time but that would take a long time. is there any easier way?
    thanks much

Its very easy. I hope that you have all your music in one folder. Just drag that folder which contains every music you have to the iTunes icon in the dock. iTunes will open and copy every file on its own.

  • Importing songs from hard drives

I have songs on my hard drive that already are separated into various categories and files for ease of reference.
is there any way to import these songs into itunes and keep them in the files in which they are already separated into?
for example, i have an oldies file on my hard drive. when i import that file into itunes, all the songs go into the general library. i then have to create a playlist in itunes and hunt for those songs to recreate the file on my hard drive as a playlist. is this the only way to maintain the files in itunes in the manner i already have them on my hard drive?

Open iTunes, Select FILE, Select ADD FILE or ADD FOLDER to LIBRARY, when the box opens search for your F: drive, locate you music, select all songs/folders you want to add and click OPEN.
Let us know if this works for you.

  • Imported Songs from Hard Drive Not Converting MP3 Tags Properly

This is a problem that I am having with files that I am adding to iTunes with "File==>Add Folder To Library". These are mp3 files. I no longer have the CDs. The mp3 files and their tags (like song artist and album) are being read properly by Windows. However, when I add them to iTunes, sometimes only the song title gets applied. Tags like artist and album don't get transferred by iTunes. It doesn't happen with all files, but with the ones that it happens to, it does not get corrected if I try to add them a second time.
Please help. I am sick of manually editing files in iTunes when Windows sees them just fine.
    Thanks!

I'm not sure if I understand your question, but try this: Go to View menu and choose view options. Turn on the fields that you want to show.

  • Use iPhone/iPad to Permanently Delete Songs from iCloud/iTunes Match

I have iCloud and iTunes Match, but I am doing my annual "spring cleaning" (yes, I know it's winter) of songs I don't really listen to or want to keep anymore. I want to delete them permanently from iCloud/iTunes Match. I used to do this in iTunes on a computer. I would delete them from the Song list and it would prompt me with a question to the effect of "Do you want to delete these from iCloud as well?"
Well, I am operating solely on an iPhone and an iPad now. I don't have a computer anymore. So I don't have iTunes software anymore and thus don't have this means of deleting songs from iCloud. I don't know how to delete songs from iCloud USING my mobile device. If I delete a song from a playlist or from the device itself, it is still out there in iCloud and still shows up in the list of songs at my disposal. I DON'T want to cheat the system and turn off the settings feature that "shows all music" in iCloud because then I won't be able to see anything I have at my disposal in iCloud. I want to be able to see my songs in iCloud, but I want to be able to permanently delete from said iCloud songs that I don't care about anymore.
So how do I do it from iOS devices?
Please don't tell me it can't be done without iTunes on a computer. That will just irritate me and drive another nail in the coffin of my growing frustration with Apple.

I honestly don't think you can do it. Nothing I've found online allows you to do this, which is awful because these songs still show up and play when on shuffle. I've even selected "only show me music on this device" and I still see some songs I've deleted and are only on icloud and I have no option to swipe and delete. I'm with you... forcing me to do this on my pc when every other need for syncing has since been removed is very annoying.

  • Importing songs from a protected CD

Is there any way to import songs from copyright protected physical CDs into my itunes library? The songs will upload to Windows Media Player, but will not convert to AAC in itunes. Sometimes, when I insert a copyright protected CD into my drive, nothing happens at all.
I have heard of a way to do it that involves ripping the songs to WMP, burning them onto a new CD, and then uploading them to itunes, but I have not tried it yet, and this seems like a lot of extra work. Is there an easier way to do it?
Thanks so much for the advice.

You can take an output directly from your hi-fi's tape out socket to your computer. You can then save and edit this output using audio editing software like the open source program Audacity: http://audacity.sourceforge.net/
In addition to the software you'll need an RCA to 3.5 mm audio plug cable to connect the Tape Out sockets of your amplifier to the audio input of your computer.
You can use this method on LP, Cassette and also on Copy Protected CDs that won't play on your computer.

  • ITunes Match unable to download songs from iCloud issue

I have a MacBook Pro running Mavericks 10.9.4 and iTunes 11.3.1. I am having repeated issues with downloading songs from iCloud to my MBP. I have reset Match numerous times using the steps located here: http://support.apple.com/kb/TS4054.
Then it works for a short time and I am able to download some songs and then suddenly I will get the pinwheel, the songs in iCloud will all show greyed out and then I am no longer able to download anymore. Repeat process.
I am about to try a test tethering to my iPhone's internet service to see if that improves things. So far, the only threads I have found on this topic have been related to Mountain Lion. So I'm not sure if this is a different issue I am seeing.
I also tried resetting the System Configuration to see if it would fix, but no luck: https://discussions.apple.com/thread/4160355?start=90&tstart=0
Is anyone else experiencing this and what is the issue? Can it be fixed?

    Hi,
I don't think that you have a similar issue to OP.

That means that iTunes Match is stripping out the Sample Rate when it uploads some tracks (even variable within albums) and then it gets stuck when you try to play the track.
    Apple needs to fix this.
Match does not strip out the Sample Rate. If tracks are matched, it shows the standard sample rate of 44,100 but unknown when tracks are uploaded (probably because Apple does not capture this on such tracks). If you have an iCloud status of "Waiting" and a blank sample rate, this suggests that the match / upload process was not completed.
If you have not already solved your problem, I suggest that you delete those tracks and then read them to your iTunes library. Once you have matched or uploaded them, you can delete from your hard drive but not the cloud.

iOS 6 (which runs on the iPhone 5) requires iTunes 10.7, which requires OS X 10.6.8 or higher.
Upgrade OS X on your Mac.

  • ITunes not playing songs from iCloud in Match

I keep 50% of my music library on an external HD. I subscribed to iTunes Match to be able to access my entire library when my HD isn't available (traveling, HD in sleep mode, etc.). But iTunes won't play any songs that are stored on my external HD when the HD isn't available, even when the songs were purchased on iTunes, and even when iTunes has matched them and shows them as "purchased." When I try to play the song, iTunes says the external HD isn't available, and offers to allow me to locate the song (which is impossible because I'm not near the external HD). Why won't it use the copy that's stored in iCloud? Isn't this the whole point of iCloud, i.e., to allow me to stream my music library from anywhere?
I have an active internet connection, and I've already updated Match and turned it off an on again. But iTunes won't play any of my songs from iCloud; only from my Macbook hard drive, which certainly isn't the point of Match.

Sorry Michael, but while this may not be considered a bug technically, it's REALLY poor design.  I have the same issue - I have too much music to store on my computer, so I store it on an external drive.  How does Apple expect people to figure out how to adjust for this "design"??  I'm an experienced mac user of over 20 years, and I didn't understand what was going on (aside from my external drive not being connected).  New iTunes/iCloud users are definitely not going to understand.  Saying this is simply how it's supposed to work is not acceptable.  Frankly, Apple has totally messed up their iCloud implementation - it's SO convoluted, especially if you have any iDevices.
For this issue, Apple really needs to change iTunes so that it's smart enough to stream music to a temp directory (and then have a setting in the Options in which you can empty it manually or according to a schedule, exiting iTunes, etc.), or at the very least, allow you to set up mulltiple libraries (which you can do manually, but iTunes doesn't track them at the same time).

There are a number of OS X apps, many free, that will save your messages, allowing to view and print them.

    Google, for other options
Your "other" of 6 GB may include corrupted data or file sytem errors. If after removing the messages there is still >2GB, you will need to restore the phone in iTunes, first using a backup (made after deleting the messages) and if needed as a new iPhone.

  • How do I find pdf's stored in iCloud Drive with my iOS devices?

I have recently updated OS X to 10.10 and all of my iOS devices to 8.1.  And I routinely store Pages, Numbers, Keynote and pdf documents on iCloud Drive.
But I can't figure out how to find a pdf stored on iCloud Drive from an iOS device.  It's obvious (in the finder) in Yosemite, but I have no idea with iOS.

You have to access documents in iCloud drive on an iOS device from an iCloud compatible app that can read the document you are trying to open.  For PDFs, you can use an app like Documents 5 by Readdle.

  • Unable to download song from iCloud

After purchasing songs from Itunes, I receive the following error message when trying to download songs from iCloud - "you do not have the priviledge to make changes."  My itunes library is currently housed on an external hard drive.  Any help would be greatly appreciated!

my first thought is if you have recently authorized/deauthorized any other computers. which requires a wait time.
other troubleshoots might be if you accidently switching your external harddrive to read only.
let me know, i'll try helping you troubleshoot.

  • Problem with imovie download from icloud drive

I recently logged into icloud.com from my windows 7 pc and selected the icloud drive icon. From there, I went into the imovies folder and then uploaded a short mp4 video (44mb) that I had saved on my hard drive.  It was a video taken from an iphone a long time ago. It uploaded successfully and the video file is now sitting in my iMovie folder on icloud.com.  Good so far.
Now, I went to my ios 8 iphone 5 (icloud drive enabled) and opened my iMovie app.  Within the app, I tap on "projects" and then tap the download icon because I would like to get the video I just uploaded to drive, onto my phone. This now shows me my iMovie folder from icloud drive.  I tap on this folder, and it shows me the video I just uploaded, along with other iMovie projects that are already on my phone.  The problem is, it doesn't let me tap on ANY of the videos to download them.  It almost seems as if they are greyed out. Even the ones that are already on my phone as projects. I still have plenty of phone and icloud storage capacity.
Is anyone having the same problem or has a resolution?

    Hi,
i have similar problem. i have recently uploaded many videos to iCloud Photo Library. If I tried to use any of the videos in iMovie on iOS, I cannot download them. When tapping the download button, it does not do anything.
    IS this a bug?

  • Importing songs from cds soooo slow.....agghh ive no patients!!

when im importing songs from a cd to itunes it is soooooo slow. the time it takes to import the song i could have played it twice! This isnt a major problem as it is still in working order but the speed is rediculous. Does anyone know if there is a setting which i can adjust the speed that songs copy from a cd????? if someone could help it would be great....for my sanity's sake!!!!

I have an elderly Toshiba running XP Pro-SP 2. With iTunes 6.0x I was able to import CD's at 4X-6X. Considering the CD Drive maxes out at 8X - that was OK. Well, 7.0 imported at .1X that is POINT ONE X. And "upgrade" to 7.0.1 increased the speed to a wopping .8X.
I tried making a second library. That got me up to 2X. (My library is over 20Gig - so it seemed to fall into the large library problem zone.)
I went back to 6.0.4 - I am not a happy camper since I couldn't find a "recent" copy of an older version of iTunes. Ended up "rebuilding" my library - lost playlist in the process.
I am happy to have 6.0.4 back and running. I never connected my iPod to 7.0 -
It will be a long time before I install a new version of iTunes. There was no reason for me to upgrade. I was just a little bored when iTunes announced "New Version - want to upgrade?" My fault.
Thanks for listening to my crabbing.
