Importing Templates from free web sites?

I recently started my own business, and I have narrowed down what i want to two free templates that were offered to me. I am rusty when it comes to web design but I would really like to use them. I can't seem to figure out how to bring in the files into dreamweaver. I have cs4 version of dreamweaver

No problem here. You just need to define your site in DW using the instructions given in this tutorial:

After defining the site, copy the downloaded template files in the folders you have just created and start from there.

This applies to almost all site templates except the "blank site" template. I am logged in as System Administrator.

Issue resolved!
Don't know how but somehow, xml was added to the Blocked file types. Removing the entry did the trick.

First, epub has nothing to do with size, it is a file format that is popularly used for ebooks, but ebooks published in epub file formats vary greatly in file size.
It will depend on where you buy it. Many books are DRM locked (Digital Rights Management, a software lock). If so, in order to load it into another companies reader or reader software, you need to use something like Adobe Digital Editions to "authorize" the book on the device. Apple's iBook software does not work with ADE.
If the book was DRM free, you should be able to read it in any ereader or ereader program that supports epub format.
If the book is DRM locked to B&N, Amazon, Kobo or whichever seller you shopped from, then the simples thing is to download their free app for the iPad (they all make one, in fact they all make free apps for iPad, Android, Mac OS X and Windows).
So the short answer is yes, you should be able to read any epub ebook file on an iPad, although not necessarily in iBook.

B&N - get the Nook reader app
Kobo - get the Kobo reader app
non-DRM epubs can be read in iBook, Nook, Kobo, or Google Play

On my Mac, when I attempt to open a form from a web site, the Reader does not open. It used to.

It sounds like your file associations are messed up and Reader is trying to open your .jpg files. Is this correct?

How to copy and paste text from a web site viewed in Chrome using the Xperia z3v?

I have searched high and low for a way to copy and paste text from a web site in Chrome using the Xperia z3v. I've tried a long tap, a double tap, a triple tap - nothing works. I am able to select text, copy and paste it in a Word doc, however. There must be some way to do this on a web site in Chrome. I'm certain I am not trying to select text that is really an image. You will need to access that PDF on your computer first, before you can print it — unless that PDF is corrupted, which occasionally happens. Your printer needs to be configured and working.
Default PDF web-browser plug-in in Safari, latest (Firefox/Chrome) also built-in.
Click on the remote PDF link to open in browser
On Mavericks, you will need to click through security challenges for the PDF
File menu > Print
Right-click on remote PDF file and then choose Download Linked File As...Open that file in /Applications/Preview.appFile > print

With PDF imaged in browser, either select print icon from the plug-in toolbar, or mouse over the bottom one inch of displayed document and you will see a printer icon in the popup toolbar. Use that.

engines because they can't "see" the page or any links on it.
You would be
"protecting" the images but no one would find them.
And all of those obfuscation JS things can be reverse
engineered. In most
cases- it's not worth it to prove it can be broken other than
to prove it
can be done. The images are nothing special in almost any
site using one of
those $29.95 applications.
Have you done the basics? Turned off directory browsing or
put a default
index page in every folder? A few years ago i ran across a
site with one of
those block right click scripts on it. Dumb curiosity- opened
a picture, and
looked around the directory. All open directories. A block
right click
script and every folder on the site was open.

Nuff said. The blocking script made me curious enough to poke
around the
directories.

Difficulties downloading content via ftp from some web sites

I'm having difficulties ftp'ing content from some web sites when using my Airport Extreme (802.11n) base station. The AEBS is running firmware 7.3.2, is connected to a cable modem, and is configured in NAT mode.
The inability to download is independent of any web browser, OS platform or FTP client). Here's what happens:
For the following url: http://ftp.support.veritas.com/pub/support/products/NetBackupEnterpriseServer/305408.pdf
downloading with Safari gives:
The error was: “unknown error” (NSURLErrorDomain:-1)
with Firefox: it just hangs the browser, no display
with command line ftp:
421 Service not available, remote server has closed connection.
You get the idea. Windows has similar problems, so it isn't limited to the Mac OS.
Other FTP sites work fine, and things seem to work fine when the system is directly connected to the cable modem. This has happened for a while, so it isn't limited to any recent Mac OS X Leopard updates. It's just gotten terribly annoying.
Is something in the AEBS trying to interpret ftp protocol responses from servers while in NAT mode (and breaking them) instead of passing them through?

Thanks for your input. I Know and i did that from a couple of years , neverthelss, each time you upgarde your system, you have to rewrite your development. My goal is to try to anticipate that by for exemple download the IDOC structure in advance . Let me say IDOC structure used by MySAP ERp 2007 instaed of SAP ERP 4.6. If i can download those STructure i will not be obliged to rewrite my Dev after each upgrade. Do you see what i mean ?
