Importing the Ravenna Tutorial Site

Hello, I was able to import the RVH Tutorial Site and everything went as planned, EXCEPT after it installs then I go and run the Indexer because the doc says that needs to be done before you can view the site in teh browser. Well I went in to the Repository Manager and Ran the "Collection Rebuild Cycle" it Finished and is now sitting idle. I now try to go to the site and I get page not found.

WHY? What am I missing?
I also went to the files where that folder exists and there is no index.htm like the doc says, I only see the follow:

If you want to learn Servlets "deeply" - you need to understand how the Servlet Container works, along with the Servlet API.
You can check out the Servlet Container Jetty ( http://jetty.mortbay.org/ ). You can download the Source Code & see how the Server ticks !
And, of course,....practice...practice...lots of practice.......:) !

After installig i see error:

Fulltext is on (config + SQL script)! DB: Oracle 9.2
I am aready saw this error when tryed to use MSSQL2000! But I resolved this problem! Just added table DOCMETA to Fulltext index catalog!
What I have to do with Oracle DB?

If you have this problem, it probably means you didn't install and configure UCM component "DBSearchContainsOpSupport", which is required by Site Studio. See sections 2.1 and 2.4.6 of the Site Studio Installation Guide (Site_Studio_Installation_Guide.pdf).
I had the exact problem shown above. To fix it, I installed DBSearchContainsOpSupport, did the Zone Fields Configuration as instructed on page 2.4.6 of the install guide, and did a full index rebuild. This fixed the problem immediately - there is no need to manually create fulltext index columns.

I've done this several times with other sites including paid, trial and subscriptions but for some reason the
option to download the free partner site is not available.

I've been having the same issue, and it's been driving me insane! But, I've finally shed some light on the subject..
To my understanding.. Business Catalyst will not connect your partner site with Dreamweaver or Muse (which I am using to design my sites.)
What you can do, is use filezilla to FTP the files both from bc to your local machine, where you can edit them, then upload them back.

I also watched a youtube video about adding your site in the filezilla preferences (which saves you from having to login every time).

ctrl B shows the menus.
ctrl S shows the sidebar.

How can I import a non-BC site into BC, using Dreamweaver CC, and then use it as one of my free sites?

I am trying to import one of my non-BC sites into BC, using Dreamweaver CC, and then use it as one of my free WebBasics sites.
When I try to create a new BC site in Dreamweaver CC, it creates a BC template site, and I have unsuccessfully tried to update the files on BC - it won't let me connect.
If I import the site from my portal, I don't get the option of a free site - when I try to upgrade, I get the credit card form asking for payment.
I feel like I'm running around in circles with one foot nailed to the floor.
Any tips?

I choose the smallest size, 3x4 but I'd prefer to go higher as this DVD was originally a VHS home movie. I'm wondering if after three conversions (VHS,->DVD->MPEG) the resolution will be so poor as to not support a larger size frame? If it can, what size should I select when I export?

I was able to import the audio into my itunes 11.1.3 music library but I have not been able to edit the length of the recording. I followed an online tutorial and was able to edit when the recording starts and stops on the recording but I haven't been able to edit out the parts of the recording that I dont want. Also when I try to export it to my Desktop or to Garageband (not sure if that helps or not) I am not able to export it. It is currently a .WAV file. I would like to edit the length of the recording and then export the file onto my desktop. I would like to email the presentations to my colleagues online so I could also use advice on how to make it a smaller file since it is current 945.6 MB.

iTunes isn't an editor. You need an app that's intended for editing audio files, like Adobe Audition (http://www.adobe.com/products/audition.html) or Audacity (free in the App Store).

How do I revert my iWeb published site (the actual published site in internet is up to date) the one on my repaired computer is old from a time machine back-up and out of date?

You need to copy and paste the content from the published files back into iWeb and recreate any missing pages since iWeb has no import facility.

As I recall there were two different "fixes" for audio with Captivate 4. One involved replacing the dll and another had something to do with installation problems on Windows XP. So give the link below a try.

In SharePoint 2013, most part of the icon images are displayed from one image which is called spcommon.png and they are in different part of the image.
If you want to change the icon image, you can edit the site’s mater page and use code to change the icon image.

I masterpage i could find where to change icon for some features (fullscreen, the blue panner, Dropdown bread clum and so on) but i couldnt find the three ponits, if i can find the tag for this one then i can change the icon path to another one instead

Dissatisfied with usability of the Portal Studio site

Hello,
We are ramping up production and I have been tasked with developing a proof of concept for Portal. Of course, I've spent countless hours setting up 9iAS, and even trying to understand this whole 'Portal' portal product (like many others). I have devloped in J2EE, VB, VC++, and plenty of other scripting (ASP, Perl) languages.
My experience on that site has been painful at best and it doesn't really seem to be very useful for the most important documentation from a developers standpoint.
It's almost as if it's information overload and just outright confusing. (Which is a concern our company has of implementing portal to our mere mortal users :-] )
All I want to do is find good reference material for setting up Portal, using Java to develop portlets on our development 9iAS instance (NOT using Oracle's hosted 'portal studio'!!), and configuring and setting up the URL based portlets.
This has turned out to be no easy task.
FOr instance, I want to figure out how to create a URL based portlet, AND UNDERSTAND WHAT I"M DOING! This seems to be the part that is skipped. If it's sooooo easy than why is it so difficult to find good reference to what i'm doing?
So I dig around the main portal page. I see a getting started link.. *click*.
Well, I don't see anything specific to URL Providers... maybe the "How can I create portlets using my existing web applications?" is what I want. *click*
Oh, look.. it's like 3rd grade.. a slide show!>.. Cool. :-| okay.. ERRRGHHHT!... hit the brakes!.
"The PDK provides a samle XML configuration file.." ??? where is my link to more information about this magic "configuration file"???.... ahh. So I stop the silly slideshow and I want to know about this "configuration file".. *close window*

Back to the task at hand... finding out the innerds of the configuration files involved in writing a "URL provider".
Looking at the available documents.. OHH LOOK! the actual documentation library is buried at the bottom of the page!.. hmm. I just read the "config guide".. "web toolkit"...?? I wonder.. *click* (grinding as Acrobat loads again)
AHhhh.. it's a "PL/SQL" web toolkit. Not imporessed. How many web developers actually know PL/SQL .. or would WANT to program logic in that query language??? or even any Java or C developers?...grr..

I am sorry to hear that you had such problems navigating through Portal Studio to find content on URL Services. Right now Portal Studio is geared by technology, so you click on URL-Based for URL Services, Java for building Java Portlets. Hopefully all the doc will be there to help you. If not, I would be happy to point you in the right direction.
If you are looking to display web content as portlets, you should take a look at Web Clipping, it is a wizard form of URL Services where you simply use the wizard UI.
Go to Portal Studio and click on OmniPortlet and WebClipping or go here:

Is it possible to import the website I completed in Muse from the ftp server back into Muse?

I have lost the Muse files for my site (due to a stolen laptop). Is it possible to download the site files from my ftp server and import the files back into Muse (without having to rebuild the entire site)? My site is hosted by GoDaddy cPanel, and I am running Windows 7 on my (new) laptop. Bumming out here and could use some help. Thanks!

Yes, go to your GoDaddy control panel and somewhere there will be a download your HTML button.
