Hi I am getting following error while transporting process chains from dev to quality it is saying method execution failure and log is giving as below. please suggest me the solution.

In rspc , check for the four process chains given in error log ( there is a check button in the menu bar , once you click that it will show the process variant which has error as red )

Common Errors can be like
1. SID Failure while loading data.
2. Activation Failure.
3. Idoc failure
4. Failure in Source System.
5. Table space issue while loading.
6.No SID found for a characteristics
7.No Data found in the soucre system
8.DATASET Errors: Short dump with Various DATASET errors
9.Hierarchy load fails with error Incorrect Hierarchy Structure with Consistency Check / NodeID XXXXX not included in the Hierarchy.
10.Invalid character error
11.File not found (System Command for file check failed).
12.Error occurred due to Short Dump.
13.Attribute Change Run failed - ALEREMOTEBW was locked.

Process chain failure due to weekly maintanence

Hi experts,
we have BI sytem shutdown every week ok sundays due weekly system maintanence.In that process we have few process chain failure as well as batch job failures and each time we have to fix it by manual loading of data.
Any one help me fixing it once for ever.

Is ur PC running when the system is shut down?? if yes then u have to fix manually...The best practice is to finish off the loads before the system is shut down. Make sure that all the deltas are pulled before the system is down..
try this for restarting PC

after cleaning up all the datatargets u can restart it as mentioned in the above link...

Process chain failure at AND condition

the process chain is failing at the AND process after the DTPgets succesful . its giving the error message as"THIS AND PROCESS IS NOT WAITING FOR EVENT RS PROCESS".

there are two dtps which are connected to this AND process.process chain is successful untill this dtps and failed at this AND condition. please suggest to fix this and let me know wht will be the possible reason for this failure.

Issues related to process chains

dear gurus,
i hope all are doing great, this is the message regarding the issue with process chain in sap-bw(from application server)
i'm trying to load data from flat file to ods and infocube parallely, i've created the infocube and ods object and i've also created the respective infopackages and copied the name of infopackages.
i've created the process chain and in monitoring i.e. rspcm when i'm adding the process chain the status in not green its a yellow triangle.
apart from that i'm getting an error message saying that- objects have been locked by the sapuser.
please do help me to get rid of this issue.
please do send me the related documents regarding the process chains, that would help me to understand the concept.

'AND' process in a process chain failure - need help

For the first time and out of no where, two separate 'AND' processes in two separate process chains failed on two separate days. It displayed error the same messages in both isntances as below. It seems that when the first load completed and the second was still in progress, this 'AND' attempted excecute and failed.
I had to manually resume the chain by setting the 'AND' status'to 'G' in RSPCPROCESSLOG table. I also plan to recreate those 'AND'.
But did anyone here experience this problem and know the root cause?

The QueryParams will handle the data types for you, and should pass values around more safely and with fewer issues. Assuming you just want to store the current date and time you don't even need to get ColdFusion involved, as databases have their own functions for this. I believe Access' version is simply NOW(), so I've put that in your query.

Process chain failure

Hi Guys,
We have process chain defined for sales order history upload from BW to APO planning area. Its failed with logs :
1- DataSource 8PBSD_C01 has to be replicated (time stamp, see long text).
DataSource 8PBSD_C01 does not have the same status as the source system in the Business Information Warehouse.
The time stamp in the source system is 19.12.2008 23:55:19.
The time stamp in the BW system is 30.07.2008 16:36:49.
2- Errors in source system.
Message no. RSM340
The process chain failed at very first step. please help to resolve it.
Quick question:
1. how to see the planning area wether it's on full load or delta load?
2. how to compare the planning area data and infocube data so that i can see data difference?

Thanks a lot Venkat. Here is process steps which i am going to follow.Since, i am doing it very first time ,please let me know if any step is missing/doing anything wrong.
Steps to solve this problem
Replicate data source
Step 1 u2013 Replicate source system. In RSA1 go to BW data source data mart -BW info cube (8PBSD_C01). Right click on info cube and click on REPLICATE META DATA.
STEP 2- Activate Transformation rule for APO info cube 8PBSCM_C04 and save in transport request.
STEP 2.1- Activate Data Transfer Process and save in same transport number.
STEP 3- Delete initializations in info package.
STEP 4 u2013 Select Delta initialization with data transfer.
STEP 5 u2013 Execute info package.
Prerequisites
STEP 1- Delete APO info cube 8PBSCM_C04 data.(how to do it?)
STEP 2- Delete PSA data.(how to do it?)
STEP 3- Delete Index in APO info cube 8PBSCM_C04. (Manage  performance delete index).(how to do it?)
STEP 4- Check planning area data in Live Cache. Delete and regenerate Live Cache.(how to do it?)

What u can do is u have to send the mail alert from the net to ur mobile..

I scheduled a process chain to run once every hour and sometimes it fails for knowing problem.
I would like to get an email every time it fails.

You can create messages for a process that are trigerred either when the process failes, or succeeds, by right clicking on a process and choosing Create Message.

It looks like the process was aborted externally. Check the data targets, if the contain any failed requests, delete these and restart the process chain.

Process chain failure at save hiearchy step

Hi Experts,
I am facing one issue with the process chain, it has failed at Saved Hiearchy step, i have tried repeating the step twice but still it didnt work out, since i am new to BW please suggest me pointers regarding the solution as i am unable to solve to myself.

kindly check whether you hiearchy is in M or A state in RSH1, generally it happens when the hiearchy when it is modifed(M) state then tit fails at save hierachy step...
kindly activate it their and then try either repeating the step/retrigger the chain

1. Go to change mode of Process chain and then try activating the Process chain.
2. Execute the Process chain.
3. If the Process chain fails. Right click on the step and check the Job Logs/ Log management.
In my opinion, this will help in letting you know the issue.

Masterdata Dataload Process Chain Failure - Rerun?

Hi All,
In our process chain we have a dataload from 'Sales Document Item Data' 2LIS_11_VAITM to Sales Order Document - Line Item (Attribute). This load has failed a couple of days ago. I would like to rerun.
Do I need to delete the load that failed?
If I do this & manually run the DTP again, will it reload the data that failed?
What is the exact procedure - Do I need to just select the request that failed & then run the DTP?

Hi,
I am guessing the Infopackage has failed for the data extraction from R3.
You need to delete the request from the target and make it red.. the system will suggest that delta has failed and need to be repeated.. once you execute the Infopackage manually, deltas will be set correctly
The DTP will have to be executed manually
