Importing videos aren't previewing and only show white in timeline
I just started a trial of premiere pro. Every time I import a video though it doesn't have a preview. It's just white. It does this on the cursor preview and and when I place it in the timeline.

Anyone else suffering from their curve 8520 os: 5.0.0.681 randomly crashing and only showing a white screen as well as it being unable to reboot unless it is plugged in? It often occurs when I'm playing media, using apps and maps. Since you got a replacement it the same old Battery you are using or its a new Battery with your replacement device.Sometime this white Screen or unable to reboot happen because of weak battery .I suggest if you can arrange a good quality Battery then try running your device a few hours to see if the problem is within the device or its just Battery issue.

Imported photos from removable drive and only show on that drive
I was attemping to copy all my photos to my laptop using PSE8. Some how instead of having my catalogue on C drive I have it on the removable drive. So the files won't import to C drive cause it says I already have them they don't show in the organizer but do in explorer. now I can't delete the E drive and import the files to C:doc../set/... /all pics HELP
already tried uninstalling PSE8 and removing registry keys as soon as I load from disc it magicaly sees a drive that aint there. Also tried folder by folder add unmanaged files says I have them ...on a drive no longer there!Hi,

Firefox crashes as soon as Flash video tries to load and Safari shows the error "Plug-in Failure"
I am unable to use Youtube or view Flash video on any sites.

I have uninstalled Flash, downloaded a fresh version and installed, but no joy.
I am using OS X 10.6.6.
This is what I have tried so far;
1. Repaired Permissions.
2. Restarted with external drive and run Disk repair.
3. Restarted with external drive and run DiskWarrior.
4. Completely uninstalled Flash plugin. Robooted. Reinstalled Flash plugin. Rebooted.
5. I even installed an earlier version of the plugin to see if there was some incompatibility with the latest version.
6. Created a new user login and tried from there. Same problem.
Any ideas?You have what is necessary for Flash Player to be working. Firefox had some issues last year but it was after loading a video or the website. I had not heard of it lately and even last year don't recall it happening on the Macs.
What is happening with yours sounds like a direct conflict with some addon/extension.

In MONTH, (PC) iCal only clearly lists 2 items a day. The 3rd item is "faded" and bottom portion cut off, w/ a "more" triangle in the lower-right corner. How can I expand (vertically) so the 3rd line posts clearly, and ONLY shows "more" if 4+ events?
Better yet... as there's a lot of "wasted" space w/ too large Month title and empty space surrounding the Month title above and too much space surrounding the month/year slider bar below, how can I minimize these to allow me more usable / valuable calendar "contents" so I don't need to waste so much time clicking "more" just to see the bottom of the truncated third event and find out there are no 4+ events posted that date? i.e. more "user-friendly" presentation?

my mac book pro mountion lion system login screen background wont show and only shows a light white/blue as the background how can i fix it ? i tried everything from loginox to onyx and it still wont solve the problem. instead of the default dark grey startup screen the background is white with a blue tint to it. the only time that the default background shows is when i log off and relog in

I think that your Mac detects your hard disk, but the problem is that your new hard disk doesn't contain any operating system, so your Mac doesn't find any bootable partition and you see a question mark.
If your Mac came with DVDs, insert the Mac OS X Install DVD and hold the C key while your Mac is starting. Then, just install Mac OS X. If the hard disk isn't prepared to install Mac OS X, you will have to erase it using "Mac OS Extended (Journaled)". See > http://pondini.org/OSX/DU1.html -
My external hard drive will not open and only shows up in Disk Utilities. When I try yo repair it, it give me and error of invalid sibling link. How do I fix my external hard drive?
Invalid sibling link may not be fixable by Disk Utility. (Disk Utility is very conservative, and will not attempt repairs that might cause you to lose data.)
It is an indication of serious Directory damage.
that leaves
a) third-party Utilities that will take those risks, or
b) re-initializing the drive (which deletes all your data) and restoring from another backup source.
c) "Copying off whatever files you can salvage" has gone by, and you cannot copy anything off a drive that will not mount. You may be able to use "rescue" programs such as prosoft engineering Data Rescue to copy files to another drive, but that sounds a lot better than its reality. You may get many files, but not get ANY filenames. -
so i updated my itunes and it deleted all my music that was not bought on itunes and only shows all the songs i did buy in cloud. is there a was to get it all back without re-downloading them all again?

I'd try Dropbox (http://www.dropbox.com/), which you and your recipient both have to have. It's easy, and the free version would probably be enough. There are any number of other services available for emailing large files (google that). Of course, your recipient must have KN installed to be able to view it correctly, or can view it in PP, but with some loss, primarily transitions/animations.

I accidentally uninstalled the Illustrator CC from my mac. Now I can't re-download the application. Everytime I click "Download", it takes me to the creative cloud app and only shows me the app is up to date. Is there any way I can re-download and reinstall Illustrator CC?

Have you tried a reset ? Press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds, after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot. It happens occasionally judging by the posts on here, but only once so far to me.
