Imposible descarga del Acrobat Reader después desinstalar WSP2

!Hola!
Yo tenía instalado el Adobe Reader en mi PC y cometí el atrevimiento de querer instalar el programa gratuito Windows SP2. A partir de ahí todo han sido problemas y he tenido que desinstalarlo. He descubierto que no me funciona ya el Adobe y he tratado de bajarlo de la página Web y todo ha funcionado bien hasta instalar en mi PC el programa AdbeRdr60_esp_full.exe que tiene 419 Kbs. Cuando lo he querido abrir para completar la instalación me ha salido una ventana de "Fallo de la conexión" con la leyenda "Un error de la conexión ha interrumpido la descarga. Compruebe la configuración de red o Internet y haga click en Reintentar". Si pulso "Reintentar" me sigue dando la misma pantalla y pulso "Salir". Si utilizo el Adobe Download Manager desde el menú Inicio termina saliendome la pantalla anterior y vuelta a empezar. Cuando vuelvo a la carpeta donde tengo guardado el programa veo que AdbeRdr60_esp_full_exe ya solo tiene 0 Kbs.
¿Alguien me puede ayudar? Porque en la asistencia telefónica de Adobe me han dicho que como es programa gratuito me dirija a este foro.

Tengo instalado -muy mal instalado- un ADOBE ACROBAT READER 3.01, y estoy intentando DESINSTALARLO para meter una versión actualizada. Pero me da el siguiente problema: "Error 103 - No encuentra el _setup.dll"

Nota: me di cuenta que había pasajes que te iban a resultar totalmente ininteligibles, así que pulí un poco la traducción en las partes más imprescindibles. Como no tengo Windows 98, no pude ir verificando los pasos, aunque hice lo que pude en Windows 2000. Dejé algunas cosas en los dos idiomas porque no sé si te van a aparecer en castellano o en inglés; y dejé en inglés las que estoy razonablemente seguro que estarán en inglés.

Connect the hard drive to the Macbook Pro.
Open DISK UTILITY>ERASE and drag the hard drive to the 'Name' field.
Select 'Format' 'Mac OS Extended (Journaled)'
Press 'Erase'.
This will format the hard disk that is compatible with Mac with no size restrictions.
THIS WILL ALSO DELETE ANY DATA ON THAT DISK!
You may need an extra external drive to do all of you desired transfers.
You can store iPhoto, movies, iTunes on external drives by attaching the hard drive to the Macbook Pro and the 'drag and drop' the file folders on to the hard drive.

Enviar por e-mail un formulario PDF desde Acrobat Reader.

Ante todo perdon por mi ignorancia, pero tengo un formulario PDF creado con Adobe Acrobat Pro 6.0 y la intencion es que despues de ser rellenado pueda ser enviado por e-mail, por tal motivo ¿Es ello posible? Si es asi ¿Como tendria que hacerlo?

Muy buena pregunta. No se me había ocurrido indagar si el Adobe Reader gratuito (que por cierto ya no se llama «Acrobat Reader» sino Adobe Reader a secas), tiene tal opción automática. El Acrobat Standard y el Acrobat Profesional sí la tienen.
Acabo de abrir el Adobe Reader 7.0.3 en mi Macintosh y veo que la versión gratuita también tiene esa opción «email», en el menú de «File» (porque uso la versión en inglés) que en castellano equivale a «Archivo» y «Fichero», según el país de localización de la traducción del programa.
Sería cuestión de ponerle una breve instrucción al respecto a tu documento para que el usuario vaya a ese menú.

DESINSTALACIÓN DEL ACROBAT!!!

Hola a todos.
Muchos usuarios han experimentado muchos problemas con la desinstalación del Acrobat Pro o el Reader en versiones 6 y 7 incluso la 8. Han hecho de todo creo, lo único que les faltaría es formatear el Disco.
Lo mejor es para aquellos que trabajan sobre Windows que se bajen el programa de CLEAN UP de este link http://support.microsoft.com/kb/290301 el cual borra los archivos de registro que son los que ponen problema al momento de desinstalar o querer instalar otra versión más reciente del Acrobat.
Pruebenlo y comenten con el foro sus resultados.

Necesito ayuda para desintalar archivos restantes del acrobat 7.0 (no me funcionaba bien)y cargar una version mas reciente. A traves del panel de control/instalar y desintalar programas no puedo, no me deja (desintale archivos uno por uno); dice que esta siendo usado por otro usuario ???, no estoy en red, estoy con mi nootebook personal. Baje el Clean up, pero todas las instrucciones estan en ingles y lo leo mas o menos. No se como funciona, aparece una pantalla como en DOS, pero no se puede escribir nada. Espero que alguien me pueda ayudar, pues no puedo abrir mis archivos en PDF y me son muy necesarios para mi trabajo.

Acrobat Reader 8.1.12 takes over Vista desktop and windows apps

Install is good, but 90% of my desktop icons become acrobat reader icons. If I double click on one of the icons - a message reads "acrobat cannot open 'pgmname'.exe not supported file format etc. etc. (pgmname is the application I'm trying to open). I un-installed 8.1.12 and everything is fine. I re-installed today and the same thing happens. I have a Dell laptop running Vista Home Premium. I believe this started after I installed XPSEP Vista 32bit. I needed this to print invoices from Quickbooks.

Adobe Acrobat Reader X Crashes

I initially posted this in the wrong forum (I derped and posted this in Forms. ^^;) So I'm posting this here again...

I'm having an issue with Adobe Acrobat Reader X. It seems to crash all the time whenever I try to open a .pdf online. They seem to open just fine when not embedded in a browser, but thing is, I can't get them to open by themselves, in Reader, because when I try to save the link, my computer will save it as a webpage and not as a .pdf file. (Although this could have something to do with my online course which is where I am trying to open files from.)
The page will open, briefly show itself, and then promptly crash. Many times an error message box will appear, but there will be nothing in it but a question mark and an OK button, as if Acrobat has no idea what's going on either. lol
I've tried updating Acrobat, uninstalling and reinstalling and nothing works. I really need this program to work as I won't be able to view any of my online school work without it.
Here are my computer's stats:
Dell XPS 8300i5
Processor: Intel Core i5-2320 CPU @ 3.00 GHz
RAM: 8 gigs
System type: 64 bit
Graphics card: AMD Radeon HD 6450

P.S. I've tried scouring the forums to see if I could find an answer to this but perhaps I'm not looking in the right place or I'm entering in the wrong information, but I haven't founda anything.

Actually you need to run the 32 bit version of IE, since there are no separate plugins for a 64 bit version.
Could you also try manually deleting all the files/folders from the installation directory (it would be C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Reader 10.0 by default) EXCEPT for the "Setup Files" folder. Now try and repair the application from within the Control Panel (Programs and Features) and see if it resolves the issue.
In the meanwhile, you could try the following workaround to circumvent the browser crash.
1. Open Adobe Reader and goto Edit > Preferences
2. In the Internet Pane, uncheck the option for "Display PDF in browser"
3. Close all windows and try accessing any PDF in the browser. It will now ask you to save the file on your hard disk rather than opening it in the browser.

Printing freezes Acrobat Reader various versions

I have one (luckily, just one) client who has a problem printing from Acrobat Reader. So far, this problem has been with v6.x, v7.x, and v9.x (uninstalled 6.x, installed and uninstalled 7.x, and then installed 9.x, trying to solve this issue, with no changes).
For the longest time, there was NO problem printing PDF files. Then, she couldn't print at all, it would bring up an error message. I read where setting/changing the default printer would solve this, and it did -- to a point.
Now, when she tries to print (FILE | PRINT -- read below as to why this is necessary), it will print, but the printer dialog box takes a LONG time to come up (3-5 minutes) and then the drop down menu to select a printer takes a long time to come up, as well.
She travels between various offices, which is why she must use FILE | PRINT -- she needs to choose the printer(s) that are available to her when she logs into the network. There are HP, Cannon, Lexmark, and other printers at these various locations.
The problem *only* happens in Acrobat Reader. All of the other applications print fine.
Today, I discovered something interesting by accident. If she is *disconnected* from a network, and starts a print job (again, FILE | PRINT), the printer dialog box opens almost immediately, as does the printer selection drop-down menu. She can then reconnect to the network, after selecting a printer, and then press OK (to print), at which time it does print just fine.
So, in a nutshell:
(1) It *only* happens when trying to print something from Acrobat Reader regardless of version.
(2) It is *only* slow to bring up the printer dialog box, and printer selection drop-down menu when connected to a network.
(3) It *will* eventually (say 3-5 minutes later) bring up the printer dialog box, and printer selection drop-down menu, and print, when connected to a network.
(4) She is using Windows XP (I didnt check on the service pack version, it is, for certain SP2 at least, although she may have allowed Windows Updates to upgrade it to SP3). Multiple printers are being used, from various vendors (HP, Lexmark, Canon, others) so it is extremely unlikely that it is a printer driver issue.
(5) There are others with identical laptops, Windows XP, and using the same printers and Acrobat Reader who also travel to the same offices and work in the same fashion as she, and they do not have this issue.
So, anyone out there smarter than me, any suggestions about how to resolve this?

Hi, I found this to work
open cmd
type the following and press enter after each command:
c:
cd\
del arc*.tmp /S
What the command does is that it deletes acrobat temp files that are stored on your pc, which slows down acrobat printing.

Issue printing with Acrobat Reader 9.4.2

I am having a problem when printing some files. The fonts are not the same as in the screen. The strange is that when i am sending the printing from the desktops everything is fine but from the laptops the fonts are incomprehensible in the paper. All the machines are Dell, the laptops are Latitude E6410 and the desktops are Optiplex 745. All the computers have the same configuration.
I also tested:
     Different Printers (HP) the default printers in the company are Sharp
     Different Drivers of the printers
     All the Versions of Acrobat Reader
     Print as Image
but still no luck when printing from laptop
With Foxit reader i don't have any issue when printing from laptop

Yeah, I also found the .3 update to much joy the other day, but I fairly quickly arrived at the same conclusion as you However our company has filed a support ticket with Adobe Developer Support describing the error. Also I set up a simple test-page that hopefully will expose the error for the Adobe staff.

Acrobat Reader Zoom is Sluggish

I am using the current / updated version of Adobe Acrobat Reader and have had this issue on two computers running first Win 8 and now 8.1. When viewing PDF documents (smaller in size) and images the zoom out function takes 2 minutes to go from 150% to 100% using the '+ -' buttons. I'm using a custom built i7 workstation machine with 32gb or ram and a Dell m4700. Same issue on both. This makes acrobat useless for viewing PDF documents, after a year now I would have thought this would have been fixed.

Nothing at all unusual. One is the size to download, the other is the size of the files in the compressed download, system files, AND a spare copy of the installer which has to be kept so you can uninstall.

PDF acrobat reader

Ciao sono Italiano, sono nuovo del forum e spero di non essere di troppo disturbo.
Ho realizzato un modulo con livecycle che vorrei caricare sul sito della mia azienda in formato pdf.
Nel modulo ho inserito il pulsante invio tramite mail. Con acrobat reader non funziona il pulsante invio mail e la stampa.
Vorrei sapere come posso riscolvere. Ci sono dei settaggi da fare?

In OS X file types are designated to run with specific applications, plug-ins etc. In your case the PDF file will activate by default "preview". The only way to switch between PDF viewers within Safari is to move the related plug-ins in and out of the Plugin folder.
Again, I suggest giving the PDF browser plug-in a try. It works really well.

En la carpeta "Libraría / Application Support / Palm HotSync / Conduits" tiene que copiarse el archivo "AcroConduit", que está en el paquete del archivo "Adobe Reader for Palm OS" (el ejecutable). Para ver su contenido, botón derecho "Ver contenido del paquete" -> "Contents / SharedSupport / Spanish / " suponiendo que lo tenéis en español...

Acrobat Reader for Palm OS no reconoce mi Palm.

Tengo una Tungsten E, un Mac G5 con OS X 10.3.6 y el Acrobat Reader for Palm OS 3.05.
Me aparece una pantalla que me dice "Para comenzar a utilizar Reader for Palm OS, coloque el dispositivo en el soporte y pulse el botón HotSync" Lo hago pero no pasa nada (sólo se sincroniza el resto de las cosas.
Ya he instalado el visualizador de Acrobat en el Palm, he añadido un archivo para subir, y lo ha convertido al formato de Palm, pero no va.
No creo que sea problema de la Palm, pues sincroniza y hace backups del resto de las cosas, e incluso tengo intalado el "conducto" para que me funcione con iSync.
Si alguien ya ha tenido este problema y lo ha logrado solucionar, que diga cómo proceder.
