Imposible to activate Infocube

Hi All,
I have a problem to activate an infocube. I added a new Key Figure and when I try to activate the cube a message appear "Object ZCRM_C04 could not be activated".
I have tried to activate it thru the program RSDG_CUBE_ACTIVATE also and the same following errors come:
Error/warning in dict. activator, detailed log --> Detail
Error in code generation for creating table /BIC/FZCRM_C04 in the DB
Table /BIC/FZCRM_C04 (Statements could not be generated)
Table /BIC/FZCRM_C04 could not be activated

Error when activating InfoCube ZCRM_C04

One of the row above with the errors makes a comment:
"Procedure
First try to repeat the action which caused this message. If the database action again cannot be carried out, find out the cause of the error using the analysis tool in the database utility. There might be an inconsistency between the table definition in the ABAP Dictionary and the existing nametab (runtime object for the table).
I checked the Fact table and it is in "New" status and the Basis team says that the table doesn't exist in the database.
Please, any suggestion that you can give me will be very helpfull.

I have checked the cube thru the RSRV transacion by different ways:
Tests in Transaction RSRV->All Elementary Tests->Database->Database Information about InfoProvider Tables
all the dimension tables have 0 entries, but for the fact table says:
Table /BIC/FZCRM_C04 has 1- entries; size corresponds to 0% of the InfoCube
Tests in Transaction RSRV->Transaction Data->Fact and Dimension Tables of an InfoCube
Fact Table /BIC/FZCRM_C04 not active in database
Compressed Fact Table /BIC/EZCRM_C04 is active. Manual table maintenance is deactivated.
All the Dimensions give the following error:
Test Check foreign key relationship between Dimension T able /BIC/DZCRM_C04P, and Fact Table /BIC/FZCRM_C0 was cancelled due to an unknown error
Thru the SE14 I can't do anything, i put the name of the table, then Edit and the buttons are unavailable to press on them, if i do a Check of the table appears the message:
"Table is not created in the database"
We have wrote a OSS note for SAP, and the gave us the 1030224 Note to do, which says :
Log on as user DDIC
Call Transaction SE14
Enter the affected table name and select EDIT
In the following screen, choose Table -> Reconstruct
Confirm the execution
Call Transaction SE11
Enter the affected table name
Display
Activate.
We did it and Now the system tells us, that the fact table doesn't even exist in SAP, but WE CAN see it through SE11 or SE16, even thru SE14.
I am very concern about this.

Cannot activate Infocube after SP11

Hi all
We have just imported SP11 into our 2004s BI system. After this I can't make changes to a cube and reactivate it. If I try to add a key figure to a cube and the activate it I get the error message:
"Object could not be activated" (Message no. R7I028). The log states "invalid parameter" (Message no. RSM895).
I have tried several different things - including adding the manual corrections mentioned in note 999596 and 1005667 but nothing works.
If I activate and the cube and ignore the error and afterwards changes the status to active version - it seems that the runtime version has been updated. However the changes does not reach the DB version.
Can anyone help me ?.

We encountered the same error after ABAP SP11. Only Infocubes could not be activated. In the activation message log, we received one or more "Invalid parameter" messages, but with no message number or text.
We first applied Note 1005667, which did not fix, but then applied Note 999596 which fixed. Since 1005667 isn't a dependency of 999596, it appears that 999596 by itself was the solution.
If this doesn't work for you, you might have another problem.

Imposible to activate characteristic with one reference attribute in 3.5

Dear Experts,
I have a really strange problem in 3.5 version.
I have ZUTSUP attribute like reference char from 0FUNCT_LOC.
I deleted one Z Character Attribute from 0FUNCT_LOC, when I try to active it shows one error.
"Characteristic 0FUNCT_LOC: Master data has to be activated before conversion"
Ok, I go to "Note 451773" trying to activate master data. Like explains this post: "Unable to Activate master Data InfoObject ''0EQUIPMENT''
But, when i try to reactivate active version... another error
"Characteristic 0FUNCT_LOC: Navigation attribute ZCIRCUITO does not exist for char. ZUTSUP"
Well.. this is a bucle, because, in referenced attribute I don't have navigation attribute ZCIRCUITO. and I can't modify it. I tried to reactive ZUTSUP (without ZUTSUP) but problem is...
"Characteristic ZUTSUP: Referenced characteristic 0FUNCT_LOC not (actively) available"

Very easy if you know...
Create another time the same attribute with same parameters and active it. Then Acitve Data Master of InfoObject.
That's all, now you can delete the attribute normally.

Unable to Activate Infocube from Business Content BI 7.0

Hi,
While activating an infocube from the business content I am getting the error "OBJECTS_OBJREF_NOT_ASSIGNED"."The current ABAP program "CL_RSD_IOBJ_VERS==============CP" had to be
terminated because it has come across a statement that unfortunately cannot be executed."
This is applicable to all the cubes .I am working in BI 7.0.Could you please let me know incase you have come across a similar error.

Hi Erwan,
please check the job log in sm37, the syslog with sm21 and the dump overview with st22 and see if there are any to this activation related entries and let us know the result.
Additionally you can try to activate it in foreground and you will see some messages.

Why no data from infocube

hi, Friends
i am new to BW and want to create a simple report for some testings.
i cannot get data after following activities.
Can you tell me what are missing?
1. add InfoObjects into BI COntent -> InfoObject
2. install them
3. install InfoCube
4. activate InfoCube in InfoProvider
5. create DTP
6. execute DTP, but no data found.

Hi Carol,
First you will have to make sure that your Datasource is having some data.
Activate your Datasource DTASRC in BW system. Create an Infopackage under this Datasource(Right click on DS--> Create Infopackage). Goto Schedule Tab & Start the Infopackage & then click on Monitor Symbol to check the status of load. This will Load the data from Source system upto PSA.
Once some data is loaded. Then goto your Infocube> Create a transformation between your Datasource & Infocube> Map the corresponding fields--> Activate the Transformation.
Then Create a DTP> goto Execute tab> activate DTP & click on Execute. This will load the data from PSA to your Infocube.

We have a programme which is used to programmatically add / remove attributes to a bunch of cubes in a cube group.
Part of the code uses this function module (RSDG_CUBE_ACTIVATE).
The problem that I have been asked to address, is getting rid of the popup messages that appear when this function is called.
It's really nice having a programme that can run through all our cubes and change attributes (30+ cubes), but really really irritating having to sit there and press ENTER each time a popup appears.

Problem while creating infocube in BI 7

hello,
while loading transaction data from flat file ...i have a problem with infocube creation..i have created datasource sucessfully..iam able to c data in preview also..but while creating infocube iam unable to see my infoobjects in the mibble panel..wat could be the reason ? and also iam unable to activate infocube...

Some times the infoobjects even activated and kept in dimensions of the cube they will be inactive and when u are activating the cube will not get actviated.... i hope u can see the inactive infoobjects in the panel after u try to activate the infocube..
try one thing if u can see the inactive infoobjects then remove them and create new infobjects and use them and then try to activate.... i came across the same scenario ....i solved like this ...
as u r saying u already used in the datasource please create new infoobjects which are inactive with a differnet name and change in the datasource(delete the data if present in datasource) and add the new infoobjects in the cube and then activate.....

0PY_C02 infocube not activating

firsr time wn i installed infocube 0PY_C02 is active status, after ading those time Char's 0FISCPER3,0FISCVARNT, 0FISCYEAR, it has shown error as i discussed in first question,
after deleted thoese time chars form infocube 0PY_C02 and activated and again i have installed form Business content, till it is showing same

How can i add a new characteristic to Sap standard InfoObject?

Hi Experts,
Please anyone let me know how can I add a new characteristic or a key figure into an SAP standard InfoObject in order to add it to the standard InfoCube? The situation is I would like to add region and business unit to the characteristics of the Industrial Hygiene and Safety. After that, I would like to add them to the InfoCube called Accidents: Person Involved [0EIH_C02] that is located in the MultiProvider called Accidents: Complete View [0EIH_MC01]. Is it feasible to do this way?
I just learned the BW/BI, so please help me with this. I would really appreciate your responses.

To add a attribute in a char:
1) Go to info object/char in change mode and add the additional attribute you want and select navigational attribute in attribute tab if you want. (Create these additional attribute first in info object catalouge)
2) Activate the Object/Char
3) open info cube in change mode and pick the characteristic from left panel to info cube dimension.
4) Activate infocube.
5) Go to multi provider add the char in one of the dimension and do identification for this char and activate.

Problem with sap bw for hospital

dear all,
in need of your help experts, i am new in sap and have been assigned to create some reports for a hospital i work for,
i ve previously created infocubes and reports for another organisation regarding their purchasing so i ve used all the 0PUR infocubes and 2LIS sources etc,
basically what happens here in this case thus i need some information is:
i created an rfc connection between bw and sap R/3 systems and then tried to activate infocubes through BI content, i first activated the purchasing infocube to check everything was working, i did this 'in data flow before' therefore i ended up with all the relevant infosources, transfer rules etc
BUT then i was asked to retrieve all data from the IS-H module the hospital works with, so i read around and went to activate the 0HC infocubes again 'in data flow before' only this time the structure that was created for me includes an infocube (movement for example) the relevant ODS, transfer rules and infosources but that is as far as it goes ie no datasource or sourcesystem exists in the tree under them like it did with purchasing.
another thing is that when i go to rsa6 in my source system i see all the FI, MM etc modules but cant seem to locate IS-H anywhere
i appreciate your help i am really stuck here

If the cubes are already installed, you don't need to install them again, but even if you did, you don't need to delete them, they will overwrite them.

How can I add a new attribute (characteristic) in intrastat

my friends from Autria have a problem with their intrastat message and that makes it my problem. Austrian statistic wants to know the amount of goods imported, not only the value. I tried to add an attribute using transaction VEB1, but there is no attribute in the list that gives me the amount. Does anyone know how to handle that?

Inventory management scnerio

Hi all,
I am trying to implement inventory management scnerio in BW3.5 using standard PDF , for this i activate infocube 0IC_C03 and connect that cube througt these data sources 1. 2lis_03_bx,bf and um .At R3 end i fill up set up table and data is visible in RSA3 t-code on R3 .
After this I make infopkg for all the three Infosources BX,BF and UM in inventory management PDF for infosource BX there was an option in infopkg create opening balance but i am unabel to find this option in my infopkg . There was one more thing in this PDF marker update I am unabel to find this option .
So can anybody tell me about those things (Opening stk in infopkg of BX and marker update )??
