Ciao, anche io avevo lo stesso problema e la causa è la connesione internet fornita dalla vodafone attraverso connessione hspa (traffico dati mobile). Leggendo un pò le varie discussioni l'unica soluzione che si possa considerare tale è questa:
1- scarica e installa l'applicazione hotspot shield (io ho preso il free)(nel sito ti spiega il suo preciso funzionamento cmq ti crea al volo una connessione vpn senza che tu debba impostare nulla sul mac)
2-una volta installata avvia l'aplicazione (ti apre il browser di default)
3- apri il mac app store e tutto funzionerà perfettamente (almeno me lo auguro per te )

Few days back we were getting heap memory error for one of the XML Publisher report.
I heard that XML Publisher requires lot of memory for sources/features,So I want to know whether XML Publisher can be one of the cause for memory problem to occur or this shared memory is not related with XML Publisher sources at all.
Please advice.

DBAs has increased the shared memory and problem has resolved but here I am more concrened whether the XML Publisher was or can be one od the cause for shared memory problem. Is there any way to check that or this occurs randomly and we can not check this.

It sounds like the battery might have gone bad, and is swelling and causing the symptoms you describe. Do not attempt to use the phone, but take it to Apple for evaluation.

.mac iCloud address causing 'contacts' syncing problems

This may have already been addressed here, but if not hopefully this may be helpful. I have been having many issues syncing contacts to my iPad Air. The correct contacts are on my Macbook, my iCloud account, and on my iPhone, however they were not syncing correctly to my iPad. I tried all the usual fixes, i.e. turning iCloud off on my iPad, signing out of iCloud on my iPad and singing back in, etc... to no avail. Everything BUT contacts was syncing between all my devices.
That is when I noticed that all my devices under settings->Mail, Contacts, Calendars->Accounts listed an 'iCloud' account for mail, contacts, calendars, Safari. However, my iPad Air listed a .MAC address for these. If I tried to add an iCloud account, it would say that an iCloud account has already been added to your iPad. Once I deleted the .Mac account and choose to erase all the information on my iPad, I was able to add a iCloud account back to my iPad. The account now shows up as an 'iCloud' account and not a '.Mac' account. Problem solved. Hope this helps anyone having this issue.

Did you change it on both phones? If you are syncing contacts with separate iCloud accounts on both phones, then the only way I can think of that your contacts would be linked is by syncing them both with another external sources, such as an exchange account. Setting iCloud as the default account for contacts on both phones would cause new contacts to be created in iCloud, and since your iCloud accounts are different on each phone, I don't see how contacts added to the iCloud account on one phone would be seen on the other.
You may need to go to icloud.com and confirm that new contacts added to each phone are added to your separate iCloud accounts, just to confirm that the change to settings is working properly.

Pro Tools files imported to FCP X causing QuickTime movie problem

Well 2 days later and hours on the phone with Apple tech support Senior Advisors, and problem still not solved. HELP.
Everything works fine in FCP X, but when I create the QuickTime movie, it is way out of sync (by many seconds).
We have isolated the problem to audio files that I am exporting to Pro Tools, processing, and then importing back into FCP X. I can create a QuickTime movie with the original video/audio and it is fine.
Information
The original video came from Canon HF M40 camcorder: AVCHD (using MPEG4-AVC / H.264 compression codec), MTS format. Audio is 48kHz, 24 bits.
I used ClipWrap to rewrap the video into ProRes 422 and decompress the audio and save as LPCM.
I simply provide this FYI. As I said earlier, the original video works fine and the resulting QuickTime movie works fine. So the original files imported into the FCP project are not the problem.
The creation of the problem audio occurs as follows:
- Detach the original audio from the original video, and export
- Import this audio into a 48.0 kHz/16-bit Pro Tools HD session and EQ/limit the audio
- Import the resulting audio into FCP X (exact same length file, audio waveforms aligned with the original audio).
This audio works fine in FCP. It is in sync with the video, everything looks great.
I ran Pro Tools at 16-bits because a senior advisor told me FCP runs at 16-bits but does not convert imported stand-alone audio (as opposed to combined video/audio) to 16-bits; thus the Pro Tools session had to be at 16-bits. I changed from 24-bits to 16-bits, and this didn't solve the problem. (FYI, when Pro Tools imports the original audio exported from FCP, it says the audio is 24-bits, not 16-bits).
What is the problem?
The basic question is why does this audio cause QuickTime a problem?
Something is going on in the conversion to the QT movie. In FCP X, I don't have a way to play with the conversion variables except to set "Video and Audio" and "Use current settings" (which is ProRes 422).
The only difference I see between the original audio and the Pro Tools audio is that the original audio is stereo and Pro Tools works with dual mono files (L & R). The mono files work fine in FCP and I can't imagine why QT would have a problem with these, but I haven't tried converting the files to stereo before importing into FCP.
I should also mention that I selected the stabilization and roll correction algorithms in FCP. I assume these don't create problems in QT. I mention this because I didn't use them when I tested making a QT movie with the original video/audio files.
FCP and Pro Tools are used together all the time to do exactly what I am doing......improve the sound of the original audio. They are the premier video and audio professional programs. Of course, the final product is often not a QuickTime movie, but many times it is a QT movie.
What the heck is going on???
HELP.

(1) It is immediately out of sync. It even appears to be speeded up to me initially, but this is subjective. But it is clearly out of sync throughout, not a gradual drift.
(2) When I create the audio files in the Pro Tools session, the files are automatically stored in the audio folder of the Pro Tools session. So I don't actually have to go through an export process. I just close the Pro Tools session, then open FCP X and import the audio from the Pro Tools folder.
I'm not sure what additional specifications you seek, other than:
- wav files
- sample rate = 48 kHz
- Bit rate = 16-bits (and earlier I used 24-bits)
- Files are dual mono, rather than stereo (name_01.L.wav, name_01.R.wav). As I mentioned above, I have not yet tried converting these to stereo before importing into FCP, to see if dual mono causes an issue with QT. It does not cause a problem in FCP. I will try this today if we don't solve the problem.
(3) I can upload a portion of the audio to a server and send you a link to the file so you can download it. Is there a way to private message on the forum so I can get an email address to send you the link?

Sync Mode Immediate, create row causes iterator sync problems

I'm building an application for a client and in that I've got a master detail ADF data page.
The 'master' data is user details for the application and the 'detail' data is the various access privileges a user has related to different countries, i.e. update privilege for UK data, read access for Swedish data etc. etc.
My page consists of a summary of master details (master iterator) in read only fields, a grid of detail records (detail iterator) and for each row in the grid, a 'select' link is provided which when selected, populates an input form on the same page with the details for that row (via setCurrentRowWithKey). The user can then update the details of the row and save.
Problem I have is when a New detail record is created.
The user presses a 'New' button (bound to Create action) which sets up the input form for a new detail record. The user enters the new details and presses 'Save' (bound to Commit action). Saving causes the detail grid to refresh (row position moves to 1st row in grid), showing the newly inserted record, however the input form itself on the page still contains the details of the inserted row.
So if the record I insert should be displayed 3rd in the grid (due to an Order by I have on the VO), it does show up as 3rd. However, if I select the 1st record on the grid, the data for the 3rd is displayed in the input form, if I select the 2nd record on the grid, the data for the 2nd is displayed, if I select the 3rd record on the grid, the data for the 3rd is displayed again and so on. Selecting the 1st record again still displays data for the 3rd record in the input form.
Somewhere the iterator is getting messed up.
I always refresh the query at the prepareModel phase but this doesn't fix the issue. I'm using the initializeModelForPage method that was demonstrated in ToyStore. In fact my application is built in the style of the helper functions that were provided with ToyStore (and are an excellent help!)
Can anyone point me in the right direction to fix this problem?
I'm using JDev 10.1.2.1 with immediate sync mode.

I thought I'd pinned this down to the fact that on the page where there is no iterator problems, the PK of the table is a sequence.
When I select any row in the grid (via setCurrentRowWithKey) on that page, the rowKeyStr for each row never changes when the page is reloaded (which is what I would expect).
On the page where there is an iterator problems, each time I selected a row on the grid via setCurrentRowWithKey, the page reloaded and the rowKeyStr for that row had now changed to something else.
The table underlying this page had a VARCHAR2 primary key. Thinking this was the cause of the problem, I added a new PK based on a sequence and set the previous PK to a unique key only. I changed all the related entity, link and view objects to reflect this. Also made sure that the previous PK field was not selected as a 'Key Attribute' under the view object dialog box. I've gone through the definition of the entity object closely to make sure it reflects the format of the table it's based on.
Still though on this one page, a select of a row via setCurrentRowWithKey results in a change of the rowKeyStr when the page reloads and also JBO-33035 errors (as I said, pages that do work based on sequence PK tables don't change the rowKeyStr when reloaded).
Any ideas on this behaviour would be welcome. Could there be something still hanging around in the entity or view object definitions that is causing this behaviour? I'm really up against it now on this one.

Do you have Microsoft Word installed on your Mac? If so, you can reassign all .doc files to Word by selecting the file in Finder and choosing "File > Get Info" from the menu. In the window that opens look for "Open with" and change the entry to "Microsoft Word".
