Bonjour ; lorsque je veux envoyer une photo par mail avec iphoto, je clique sur envoyer : une petite fenêtre s'ouvre avec un triangle jaune contenant un point d'exclamation, je clique ensuite sur OK (il n'y a rien d'autre à faire) la fenêtre se ferme et la photo n'est pas envoyée. Et ceci, quelque soit le destinataire.
Quelq'un peut-il m'aider ? Merci d'avance !

In the iPhoto preferences do you have iPhoto or Mail set as your send mail with preference?
If you right click on one of these photos and "reveal in finder" does a finder window open with the photo?
Can you open and view the photo in iPhoto? Can you edit it?

Depuis 3 semaines il m'est impossible d'envoyer des photos (MMS) avec mon iphone 4.
Avant je n'avais aucun souci, malgré tous les paramétrages possible, rien n'y fait .....
quelqu'un pourrait il m'aiguiller.

J'ai exactement le même problème, avec un macbook de mi-2009 (donc pas de contact avec apple care), lui aussi sous Mavericks entièrement à jour.
Depuis l'application Pages, quand on clique sur partager > envoyer une copie > mail et qu'on sélectionne le format pages, le même problème intervient !
Mais il n'y a pas que Mail qui présente se problème : la page web de gmail refuse même d'importer le document, tout comme skype !!
Donc le problème ne viens probablement pas du serveur Gmail.
Sur skype :
Quand je glisse/dépose n'importe quel document, excepté ceux de la suite burautique apple, il est envoyé au contact de la conversation.
Pour un document pages : quand je le glisse/dépose OU quand je le sélectionne en passant par la recherche dans le finder, skype ne l'envoie pas au destinataire. Il se contente d'afficher le chemin du document dans la boîte de dialogue.
Évidemment, ce problème est inexistant avec les autres extensions de fichiers.
À moins que le serveur de skype (développé par microsoft) ne bloque les même extensions que Gmail, le problème viendrait plutôt de la nouvelle version d'iWork.

Depuis LR5, mes photos ne s'ouvrent plus sous éléments 11 pour modification. L'application s'ouvre normalment mais jamais la photo. Je travaille sous OSX

Impossible d'imprimer une photo sur mon imprimante epson rx520 au format autre que A4.

Quand je choisi "sélectionner le format du papier" il s'affiche uniquement A4 et il est impossible de changer.D'autre part la photo s'affiche bien mais l'impression sur un format 10x15cm, seul une partie s'imprime alors que l'affichage indique que tout est pris en compte.

Does you friend use any accented letters in the descriptions? That might cause it but I don't know for sure.
Has he run any repair operations on his library, i.e. repairing the database file? Another possible fixe that's easy to apply is the following:
1 - delete the iPhoto preference file, com.apple.iPhoto.plist, that resides in your
Home/Library/ Preferences folder.
2 - delete iPhoto's cache folder(s):
Home/Library/Containers/com.apple.iPhoto
and, if there is one, the
Home/Library/Caches/com.apple.iPhoto folder
3 - reboot, launch iPhoto and try again.
NOTE: In Lion and Mountain Lion the Home/Library folder is now invisible. To make it permanently visible enter the following in the Terminal application window: chflags nohidden ~/Library and press the Return key - 10.7: Un-hide the User Library folder.
For Mavericks, 10.9, go to your Home folder and use the View ➙ Show View Options menu to bring the this window:

Plugin to transfert photo from Mail to iPhoto?

Hi,
My mother is using 10.3 Mail and iPhoto 5 (ithink, not sure of the version!).
She received many times photos in Mail. She would like a simple way to move pintures from Mail attachement to iPhoto. 10.4 includes a feature like this.
I'd like to know if there is any Mail plugin or any (really easy) hint that can help her move her photos from Mail to iPhoto.

I'm not positive about panther, but what happens if your mother selects the "SAVE" button next to the Paper Clip "Attachments" notice at the bottom of the mail header? (Just above the actual message)
In Tiger, you get the option to download the files, or "Add to iPhoto." Have her check this, OK?

mmchisholm - just so you know you're not alone, I too am having the exact same issue as of latest software update bundle. Have to manually add each photo until Apple issues solution or minor software update.

Problem to send photos par mail

until yesterday I was able to send photos par email from my iPhone. all of a sudden it doesn't work anymore. I still can send regular emails but I'm not able to send a photo (just from the camera roll). any ideas why?

How to import photos from Mail to iPhoto and preserve the date created?

I have several photos sent to me via email attachments in Mail which I want to "add to iphoto." When I do this, the original date of the photo changes to "today's date."
When I drag the photo to the desk top, the file (photo) properties change and the date changes to "today's date."
Is there a way to import photos and preserve the original date the photo was taken? For example, if my family finally got around to sending me photos from 4th of July, I know the date is 7/4/2012, not today's date, 10/9/2012.
I want to avoid the time/work of doing batch changes on countless photos I want to add to iphoto.

Using what you said, I ran some tests using photos taken with my digital camera in iPhoto. My photos show the following information in the "information" sidebar:
•type of camera
•Flash on
•Format size
•File size (MB)
•File type (jpeg)
•Frame "number"
•Month/day/year/hour/min/sec/AM-PM
Then I tried to email a photo to myself: I have tried: "share," "attach," "drag/drop" a photo into email and sent it to myself as a test. Once the photo arrives in my Mail inbox, I have tried various ways to add this "test" photo into iPhoto:
"Add to iphoto"
"drag into iphoto"
"export into iphoto"
Each time, iphoto created the photo with "today's date." In the past, I would get an alert: Photo already exists in iphoto, do you still want to import? Duplicate or Cancel
Can you elaborate on, "if the photo properties are present and correctly formatted then iPhoto uses them."
When I drag a photo to the desktop and double-click to preview the photo, the top of the preview window says:
P1009.jpg -- locked (gray lettering of the word "locked")
Is there a setting I need to change to "unlock" the properties of my photos?*

*My original post focuses on importing photos sent from other people. I am hoping if I can solve the matter with my own photos, other photos will import with original dates created, too.

Nonfunctioning command to move photos from Mail to iPhoto

Does anyone know why Apple does not fix the lack of function of the drop down command to move photos from Apple Mail to iPhoto? Fix the problem or remove the nonfunctioning command. Dragging as a fix is not solution. Seven months is enough time to fix this.

Hold down on the image and select Save Image. The photo will be saved to the Camera Roll in the Photos App.

Photos from Mail to iPhoto

when i click the button to save my photo in an email in Apple Mail straight to iPhoto, i cant see it in iPhoto. Am i being a bit thick? Where in iPhoto does it go?
i list all photos and look at the latest photo, as the photo is a very recent one, but its not there.
does it go somewhere else?

really need some help here. Everything i read says this operation should be as simple as it sounds but:
if my photos are going into iphoto, and these photos are dated today so should appear at the bottom of my photo list on 'all photos' in iphoto, i cant see them?!?!
my iphoto through a quirk when installing it is called 'iPhoto08' for some unknown reason and i cant change it. i havent needed to as it doesnt affect anything. could this be the problem? How do i change its name if so?

Open photos in mail using iPhoto

If I Control-click on a photo in Mail, I'd like to be able to open it in iPhoto. There's a tremendous list of applications to choose from in the "Open With >" menu, including some highly dubious ones, like Safari, Make Button.exe, and Conditional Mode Change.exe. But not iPhoto. I find htat passing strange.
How can I add iPhoto to the list, or better yet add a menu item just for opening in iPhoto. Also, can I get rif of some of tht dead wood?

If you want to control the size of the photos select them in iPhoto and export to a desktop folder using the various size options available during export - then attach to your e-mail from the folder

Impossible de supprimer une photo sans passer par deux boites de dialogue

Contrairement à LR4 je n'arrive plus a éffacer directement ( avec la fleche supprimer) les photos qui sont sur mon disque dur externe. Jai deux boites de dialogues et l'une me dit que "les fichies se trouvent sur un volume qui ne prend pas en charge la corbeille".... et quand je supprime quand même ils ne sont pas dans la corbeille.
Command+Option+Shift+Delete ne fonctionne pas non plus, exactement pareille...
Comment faire pour supprimer d'une touche et les voir dans la corbeille?

Il ne me semble pas que la procédure soit "standardisée"… du coup, je dirais qu'hors téléchargement point de salut…

Depuis la dernière mise à jour du logiciel Apple sur mon I Phone 3GS, je ne peux plus envoyer ni répondre aux SMS. Par contre, je peux envoyer les MMS.
J'ai remarqué que lorsque je veux écrire un SMS l'Iphone sur la barre du haut n'indique pas SMS mais MMS.
Je pense qu'il y a un problème dans la nouvelle mise à jour.

j'arrive à détecter mon RS232 (convertisseur USB à RS232),et voir à quel COM il correspond ...
je n'ai pas encore mon voltmètre ou oscilloscope, mais j'e vérifierais après pour le signal à la sortie de mon RS232.
ma précédente question peut être reformulée ainsi :
serait ce possible de controller mon moteur pas à pas directement par le RS232, car d'après mes lectures ca fonctionne ainsi :
INTERFACE de lutilisateur (logiciel ou hardware) : envois des commandes à l INDEXER (controller, microprocesseur)
INDEXEUR : envois des pulses (numérique) au DRIVER (amplificateur)
DRIVER : envois le courant au MOTEUR (pas à pas)
ma question est : serait ce possible d'aller de l INTERFACE (LabVIew) au MOTEUR
sans l'INDEXEUR et le DRIVER?
merci, car je ne comprends tj pas comment passer des pulses de la sortie du RS232 au courant qui fait tourner le moteur !
