Impossible Instruction given in update process: URGENT!

Hello--
The issue is on my husband's computer, but I am writing because the glitch is preventing him from opening ANY browser and getting online to attempt resolution.
He got an automated notice for an update to Flash Player, and when he clicked on the box to do so, it triggered a dialog box instructing him to "first shut down this program." The trouble is, we cannot determine WHAT the program is, and running a "find program" search on his computer failed to find any such program. The program it wants shut down prior to installing the update is listed as: _ecxtragui48 .
Be advised that my husband's career was formerly in hardware-software configuration, so he knows his way around computers, and how to look for hidden files. He was in system files, and several other places, and this progam cannot be found!
How can you shut down a program that is invisible? With that cryptic "name" of the program, there is no way to tell WHAT it is!
Because he is a heart patient, and uses his computer for video visits with his doctor, it is URGENTLY IMPERATIVE that this issue be resolved!!

I do not know what "_ecxtragui48" is, but it is obviously something that is running on that computer, and must be closed before the Flash Player update can go ahead.
What is the operating system? If Windows, use the Task Manager's Processes tab to end the process.
I would also recommend to run a full scan with an up-to-date antivirus software, as that process name sounds highly suspicious to me.

During the updation process for Excise Invoices, how does the system differentiate between an export shipment and Domestic shipment.
In the J1I5 transaction code there is a field called classification where we have
IDH : Removal from factory on payment of duty for home use
IDE: Removal from factory without payment of duty for export under bond
What i want to know is how the system distinguishes between documents that belong to IDH transaction and documents that belong to IDE transaction. are there any settings required for that.
Because when i select the IDH transaction the system is also selecting export documents. what can be the reason for the same.

For RG 1 issues to sales, wherever there is an excise invoice it is picked up and used for RG 1 updating.
The same option can be used for creating entries in RG 23A or RG 23C Part I registers. While creating entries in the register, system will pick up only those material documents for which Part I posting has not been done yet.

Is that possible there was the field ZDATE in your form interface/ context and now it is not? I guess some source has changed so the field in the form (binding to the not existing field) cannot be processed. Otto

Can not get example to work after following instructions given in "Getting Started with the NI LabVIEW C Generator" guide

We explored using sbRIO for our project, for different reasons we ended up going with a different embedded solution . We are currently evaluating the LabVIEW C Generator to convert some of the core analysis routines from LabVIEW to C so the team that will be creating the embedded solution don't have to re-implement them from scratch.
Before converting our code, I followed the instructions given in the "Getting Started with the NI LabVIEW C Generator" manual to create a static library created inCygwin using GNU Compiler Collection (GCC).
I managed to compile the code, but when I type "run GCD.exe" in the Cygwin console, I just see the window flash with no time to see if the result is correct or not. I modified the main.c cde to add a getchar(), but the window still just flashes and now I am left with the GCD process still running and have to kill it using Windows Task Manager.
Has anyone else got this example to run? I am sure I am missing an obvious setting or step, please help me.

I hope you had a good Thanksgiving. I am attaching a zip file with the LabVIEW project, my build specification and my version of "Greatest Common Divisor.vi", which should be the same as the one that you have that ships with the LabVIEW C Generator, but just in case. I am also attaching a zip file with the C files generated by the LabVIEW C Generator.

Make synchronous the update process of the FB01 transaction.

Hello, we are using the BTE 1080 that is inside of the FB01 transaction
to execute a "call transaction" to the F-51. At this point we use the
FI accounting document data (identified by: {BUKRS, BELNR, GJAHR})
"created" by FB01 as an input to the F-51 "call transaction".
Due to the update process in the FB01 is asynchronous (in update task)
some times the update process delays longer than usual and the F-51 fails
because is unable to find the FI accounting document data in the database.
We could use the "wait" instruction to wait for a period of time until the
"update task" write data to the database, but we don't know how much
time it will take. We would like to know if it is possible to make synchronous
the update process of the FB01 in order to warranty the existency of the
data in the database that will be used by the next transaction F-51.

I don't think it's possible. You can do a simple select from BKPF and if the new document is already there then don't wait. Otherwise wait for reasonable time and check again.

If you create a procedure that performs a table update, the update is subject to the same transaction model as it would be if you just executed the sql statement on it's own. Exceptions will be raised in the same way as they would if you executed the statement on it's own. You can however handle the exceptions in whatever way you see fit by using the EXCEPTION keyword in your procedure. As for the background process, it depends what you mean. In your procedure, when the update statement is executed, control will not return to the procedure until the statement has finished, so if the update takes 5 seconds to run, your procedure will be waiting 5 seconds for it complete before it can continue with any other statements.

Coding Block Error in Challan Updation Process (T-code J1INCHLN)

We are planning to migrate to Extended Withholding Tax from 1st April 2010. However we are facing some issue in the Challan Updation Process (J1INCHLN)
After entering the selection screen parameters and on clicking the execute button, the Bank Line Item with Posting key 50 shows the amount as 1.00 with the following coding block message u201CField COBL-GSBER does not exist in screen SAPLKACB 0002u201D
Steps:
1) After entering the relevant parameters,when we click on execute, a coding block popup is displayed for the Bank Line Item with amount 1.00.
2) On clicking the Continue Button, nothing happens. However on clicking the Cancel Button, the document overview screen is displayed
3) When we click on Process Open Items,The Bank Line Item with posting key 50 does not appear and due to this there is a difference of amount which is displayed in the u201CNot assignedu201D Text Box
4) We even tried to implement the SAP Note 1077602 (Error in field 'COBL-GSBER' - screen SAPLKACB 0002) but this note is not getting implemented stating SAP Note does not contain valid correction instructions
5) We have even set the field status of Business Area (GSBER) to Optional in both GL field status group as well as the Posting key. But still this issue remains unresolved

Simple instructions please to update N95

Can someone please give me some SIMPLE instructions how to update the firmware on an N95. I have gone round and round and round in circles on the website to no avail. I appeared to have accidentally downloaded an Updater (it suddenly popped up to be saved) and I have installed that. I then searched for hours for the actual firmware update itself to no avail. I kept ending up on what seems to be a 5 step set of instructions but nothing to say where the software file is.
Then I thought the Updater may be set up to find the file but all that produced when I installed it was the message "Cannot connect to NOL server" (whatever that is).
I cannot believe that I am so dumb that I cannot do what should be such as simple process. I tried to find something through the phone itself but that drew a blank too. Is there a file somewhere on the site to download that is the actual update? if not how do I do it?

the process should be pretty simple - you have downloaded a pc program called Nokia Software Updater which then takes you through the actual update process. But there seems to be something wrong with the pc software you are using.
Can you let us know which version of the Nokia Software Updater you are using?
Did you just download it from a Nokia website or did you have it previously installed and the software just updated itself to a new version?
And which Nokia website did you download it from?

Update process issue - having two reports on a page

I have a page which contains two reports (normal SQL query). And each report have some editable field items with an update button. The thing is that the update process is not working, its giving an error when any of the reports update button is clicked. I am not able to understand the problem. I think their might be a conflict between the two update processes when a page is submitted. Below are the report source queries and update processes. I think their is a problem with the code itself. Like when I click either of the update buttons, the process is failing and is going to the exception block and printing a message "Failed to update row at step 10 with error message "

Hi Orton,
to narrow down the source of your error i recommend using a process running before your two other page processes where you write debug-message to output to check how your array's are built up.
Your no-data-found error message comes most probably from accessing one of the g_fxx arrays on a index position without data. (e.g. if you access g_f04(5) and nothing ever was assigned to index 5 in array g_f04 you'll get an no-data-found exception).

Problems with Update Process Version

When I open old images in the Develop Module, I am given the opportunity to update Process Version to 2010. So far so good. If I upgrade images one by one, the update process works fine. If I try to update all filmstrip photos, I ge the following error message:
An internal error has occurred.
?:0; attempt to perform arithmetic on field '?' (a nil value)
If try to update process after selecting several images in grid view, I get the same error message.
I have also tried to "reset all warning dialogs" under Preferences/General, but it did not help.
I have installed LR3 in a MacBook Pro with OSX 10.6.4.
Any advice?

Try changing your option for viewing changes in Before/After. There is a bug there (I'm pretty sure it occurs if you have it checked, but can't find it to verify right now)

For general advice see Troubleshooting issues with iTunes for Windows updates.
The steps in the second box are a guide to removing everything related to iTunes and then rebuilding it which is often a good starting point unless the symptoms indicate a more specific approach. Review the other boxes and the list of support documents further down page in case one of them applies.
Your library should be unaffected by these steps but there is backup and recovery advice elsewhere in the user tip.
If you've already tried a complete uninstall and reinstall try opening iTunes in safe mode (hold down CTRL+SHIFT as you start iTunes) then going to Edit > Preferences > Storeand turning off Show iTunes in the Cloud purchases. You may find iTunes will now start normally.

Hi All,
Is there any way to release (dequeue) a lock inside of an update process that was originally created inside of the dialog process (with scope 2)?
It appears to me that since they are separate processes, they have separate lock owners and therefore itu2019s impossible for the update process to release it.
There must be a way...

ORDER BY 1; And I have a button for the update process so that the users can check the checkboxes option for the status column either 'DEV', 'RVW', 'PRD'. The status of the column can be in either of these states or can be null.
I have a update process, its having some problem - I don't understand whats causing the problem. Below is the error message which I encountered when trying to update.
ORA-06502: PL/SQL: numeric or value error: character to number conversion error

I could be wrong but maybe change the hidden items to be like:
APEX_ITEM.HIDDEN(05,DECODE(CHF_STATUS,'DEV',1,0),'','f05_' || ROWNUM)
APEX_ITEM.HIDDEN(08,DECODE(CHF_STATUS,'RVW',1,0),,'','f08_' || ROWNUM)
APEX_ITEM.HIDDEN(11,DECODE(CHF_STATUS,'PRD',1,0),,'','f11_' || ROWNUM)so that the values are 0/1?
Also, you have
DECODE (CHF_STATUS,'DEV',ROWNUM)instead of
DECODE (CHF_STATUS,'DEV',0,1)in the checkboxes, as I would expect.
I'm also not sure why you need to duplicate the checkboxes (f07,f10,f13) as hidden items (f05, f08, f11) if they are both 0/1 values.

I want to know, why the update process of firefox is not work correctly. Because of i begin update that is not work for along time(Connecting to the update server). So why should i do this problem. Please help me.
