Impossible to access to itunes plus

Hi guys,
since a few days ago i became unable to enter in itnues plus.
Every time i click on iTunes Plus link i receive an error that sound like this:
"Can't complete the iTunes Store's request. It may be busy. Check the connection or try later."
The strangest fact is that i can enter in every other links, like iTunes U, Complete Album etc etc.
I have problem only on itunes Plus.
What can i do to solve the problem, or at least to understand where is the problem?
Bye

Saluti

You have encounter Activation Lock, the antitheft feature of the iPhone. The previous owner did not remove the phone from their account. The phone cannot be used until they do. Return to the store and let them sort this out. It is very unusual for someone to "forget" to disable activation lock, as it is necessary to do so to erase personal information on the phone. So it is quite likely you bought a stolen phone.

  • Error accessing iTunes Plus section on the iTunes Store

It's been a week now that I'm getting the following message whenever I try to access the iTunes plus section of the store:
"Cannot complete iTunes Store request. It could be busy. Check your Internet connection or try later"
Actually the message is in italian and this is my translation.
I upgraded my library to the DRM-less version the day iTunes 7.2 was released.
    Mac mini G4   Mac OS X (10.4.9)

Not actually the plus section, but similar strange inability to access the store. From the central US.
Received a promo email Sunday to "Complete.." my albums.
Followed the link in the email, which opened itunes and displayed albums corresponding to songs purchased individually.
Selected my favorite of these albums to purchase.
Go all the way thru clicking everything to get it purchased.
"Purchase of this item is not currently available. This item is being modified. Please try again later.[?]"
Have tried this daily for 3 days now, always with the same message. Offer expires June 26th.
Is this a "Complete My Album" promo or a "Complete Waste of My Time?"
Disappointing. It shouldn't be this difficult to buy music, especially when responding directly to an Apple Itunes promo email that appears to be legitimate.

  • ITUnes plus- having problems connecting

a message appears that "itunes store is temporarily unavailable. Please try again." Ive been trying for the past few days w/ no luck. I'm beggining to think its a computer issue. Internet connection fine/im able to purchase songs/...i just cant upgrade my existing songs because i want to release the aac protected files- can anyone help?

Well, add me to the list. I was about to create a new post when I found this thread. Cannot access the iTunes Plus upgrades section on the store. Tried a Windows PC, tried a Mac, both with iTunes 9 installed, and both with the same problem. "We could not complete your iTunes Store request. The iTunes Store is temporarily unavailable. Please try again later." And I've been trying for about a week now. Sent an email in to Apple Support directly, don't know if that will do any good. I wonder if going to an Apple Store Genius Bar could prove beneficial or not in a case like this?

  • My laptop is no longer reliable. I want to share my iTunes account with my new iPad 3.   I just started viewing my iPad window on my 50 inch Panasonic wirelessly via Apple Tv 2.  That amazing.    I would like to access my iTunes store via iPad for podcast

My laptop is no longer reliable. I want to share my iTunes account with my new iPad 3.   I just started viewing my iPad window on my 50 inch Panasonic wirelessly via Apple Tv 2.  That's amazing.
Now I want to share my iTunes account with my Apple TV  1, and my iPad 3, without the need of booting up the unreliable laptop where I set it up last year.   do I have to use my. Pc laptop to access the iTunes store again too authorize home sharing.   I have tried it before. O for a while I thought the we're sharing, now the Apple Tv has gone back to telling me to use my computer too sign into iTunes.
there maybe a far simpler way to enjoy iTunes on my iPad and Apple Tv.   I also have the Sony blurry Google Tv.  I will upgrade my PC with Windows Z8 and a screaming ran cache, ram disk on a 79 mother board and then pay 5 bucks a month for OnLive Plus that I hpe to show wirelesslypy on the big scree 50 inch Panasonic.   I have waited for years to upgrade as I wanted to help my kids in college.  They are finished and so I have money fr my self.CELEBRATE

  • Why i'm unable to update App with different Apple ID? (it gives me an error: Impossible to connect to iTunes Store)

    Hello,
i installed a lot of Apps on my iPad (both free and purchased), then a sad day  i had to change my apple ID (due to some mistakes in configuring the ipad for my wife with a different apple ID and for icloud...).
Now i have apps with my last apple ID account and apps with my previous one.
When i have to update Apps with my last apple ID, there's no problem, but when i try to update Apps installed with the OLD one a problem occurs and even if i type the right password for it i get always the same message: Impossible to connect to iTunes Store!
Password for old apple ID is correct because i can log on line at account page on https://appleid.apple.com/it/
I read everywhere that having Apps with different account on the same Ipad is allowed, so....What's the Problem??
    thank you in advance.
    Bye

    Content and Apple IDs -
Content is forever tied to the Apple ID that bought it. Apple does not transfer content from one Apple ID to another. Apple does not merge Apple IDs. You will never be able to access your content bought with another Apple ID with a new Apple ID.

  • Error 5002 when trying to look at iTunes Plus

I just bought a new MBP, and since I used my education discount, I got a $100 gift card to use in the App Store/iTunes/etc. I have a bunch of songs I bought back when iTunes had DRM, so I was going to use this money to upgrade some of those purchases to iTunes Plus. However, whenever I click on "iTunes Plus" under Quick Links, I get a popup telling me that I can't access iTunes Plus because "Unknown Error 5002 Ocurred"
I've looked up the problem, and I've tried things like changing/resetting my billinb info, re-installing iTunes, and resetting my internet connection, but I have not had any luck so far. Does anyone know how to solve this?

    Hi Sanjit
Thanks very much. Yes, a bit of online research helped me to track down
the problem. It was some redirects in the .htaccess file in the root
directory (this site is located in a subdirectory). All fixed now!

  • Could not complete the iTunes Store Request (for iTunes Plus)

Since the announcement yesterday of the expanded iTunes plus library and the price reduction, I'm finding that if I click on iTunes Plus I always get the 'could not complete' message. Plus, many iTunes plus songs are still showing at 99p, only a few I've found are 79p.
I'm really surprised nobody else has reported this - is it just me?

No it's not just you, I haven't been able to access iTunes Plus either.
I assumed they were busy upgrading that section of the store but it's taking its time and if that was the case then there ought to be a more informative error message.

  • ITunes Plus waiting for e-mail??

I have not been this frustrated by anything Apple-related in a LOOOONG time.
I went to purchase my iTunes Plus upgrades 3 hours ago. At that time, I was told the store was "preparing" my upgrade and would send me an e-mail with download instructions, etc. An hour passes. No e-mail. The iTunes Plus page, which originally stated that my upgrade was in process, is now back to the basic state, telling me once again how many files are upgradable and how much it's going to cost. I still wait.
Another hour passes. I try again, and purchase my iTunes Plus upgrades. Again, I am told to await this magical e-mail that never arrives. And now another hour has passed, and the iTunes Plus page in the store--once again--is telling me which files are upgradable and how much it will cost.
I have not received any magical e-mails, there is no current indication that my card has been charged or is going to be charged, and I have no access to any of the downloads. And the Apple Store apparently isn't aware of itself enough to know what it has or has not been doing.
Can someone please tell me how long it takes to receive the magical e-mail, and what it tells you to do once you get it?? I've been Checking for Purchases occasionally but have gotten nothing. Thanks.

I did not get an e-mail. I simply upgraded to iTunes 7.2, went to the iTunes Plus, click on the the link to see what I had available to upgrade & the cost, clicked on purchase. That's it. Of course, the servers are so bogged down right now, getting everything downloaded is going to be a chore, but at least there's an option to pause/resume the downloads.

  • Has Microsoft made changes to hotmail that now render it impossible to access from a Mac?

For the past week or so, I have been unable to properly access my hotmail. I have a MacBook Pro running Firefox 14.0.1 and Safari 5.1.7. Firstly, hotmail asks me to upgrade my browser, when all are up to date. Secondly, when I am in hotmail, i cant send or read any messages because once I click on a message, i am redirected to "compose new message" before being redirected back to the hotmail home page. I can access some features of hotmail using Firefox, but I still cant send emails (I cant type any text into the message). Has Microsoft made changes to hotmail that now render it impossible to access from a Mac?

Keep in mind, you're using a Microsoft based email client on a Mac.
You may find it easier to setup your Hotmail account with in the Mac Mail application. That way you can avoid having to access your mail via Safari.
Launch Mac Mail. From the Mail menu bar top of your screen click Mail > Preferences then select the Accounts tab then the Account Information tab.
Under Accounts on the left click + (plus)
Enter your name, your Hotmail email address and password then click Continue. Just follow the instructions.
When there is new mail, you'll see a red badge on the Mail icon in your Dock.

  • Uprgrading to iTunes Plus

I have just read up about iTunes plus and have decided to upgrade the one album that i have purchased online. However, when i go to upgrade it tells me that i also must upgrade a music video that i downloaded on a previous pc that crashed and thus i no longer have that video. My question is, do i seriously have to pay to upgrade a video that i no longer have access to because i cannot re-download it from the iTunes store for free.

Thanks for the help, i have no problem updating the video as long as i get to watch it after i am done. I was just worried i would be updating a video that i would never get to watch, and even though its only $.60 its the principle. Thanks again for the info.

  • It started with iTunes Plus

I decided to upgrade some songs to iTunes Plus. When I closed iTunes and came back to it, it started to rebuild the iTunes Library. That's when I noticed some songs were missing from the iTunes listings, though they were still on the external Firewire drive where I keep the files. I imported the missing songs and things seemed fine until I synced my iPhone 3G and watched in horror as about half of my apps disappeared. I know I can download them again, but...
When I closed and re-opened iTunes again, it started to rebuild the library file again.
Everything worked fine...until I upgraded about 15 songs to iTunes Plus.
Has anyone run into this problem? If so, what did you do?
    TIA, Bob

There is no requirement to store content on an iDevice, the user controls this by managing the content on the iDevice via iTunes.
Keeping content on the computer or an external drive is a good practice from a backup perspective.  There is no guarantee that content in iTunes will always be there.  Content is added and removed regularly based on rights from the content owners.
If users wish to always have access to the content they purchased, the user should keep local copies.

  • New iTunes Plus pricing and upgrades

Does anyone know why I still have to pay 30 cents per song to upgrade my purchases to iTunes Plus, when the songs now cost only 99 cents? I understood paying the upgrade when the songs were $1.29. Now, it seems like we are getting screwed. Also, some of my purchases are not recognized by iTunes to be eligible for the upgrade (specifically, Dark Side of the Moon, which is one I would certainly want to upgrade and clearly shows up on my purchase history). Shouldn't Apple let us upgrade for free now that the iTunes Plus is the same price as the song for which we originally paid? Also, shouldn't there be some way to manually access the upgrade?

The only answer anyone here can give you is "because that's the way it is". Most likely EMI considers the Plus tracks as a separate product and wants more money for them, but that's just guessing.

If a tracks shows as being available as Plus and is not appearing when you check for eligible upgrades, contact the iTunes Store Customer Service department using the form at the bottom of the Purchase Issues FAQ web page and explain the problem to them.

  • ITunes Plus trouble

I have been having trouble accessing iTunes Plus.
After selecting the iTunes Plus link I am presented with a account login panel.
I put my password in and it returns to the panel, I try again and the same thing keeps on happening.
    What's wrong?
Do I need to de-authorize my computer?
    Please help.

I have the same problem and since 8.1 it also happens when trying to update my iPhone applications from iTunes. Tried to deauthorize/authorize my computer, sign out/sign in and nothing does.
    I'm puzzled. Any clues?
