Hi, In past I was able to dowload drivers/applications for my sound card: PCI Express X-Fi Titanium Fatalty Pro Series Now it's impossible. http://support.creative.com/Products...&subCatName=X- The "Download" is writing in read. I press on it and another windows open. I press "Agree" and nothing happen. I try to do that with Google Chrome 8.0.552.224, Mozilla Firefox 3.6.3, Opera .00.56, Safari 5.33.9.4 and, IE 8.0.7600.6385. Same for all. It's impossible to download a driver/application. So what happen with your site? Do you want our fingerprint to download your stuff?

Ok I find the problem.
I use a Proxy and cause of that it's not possible to download stuff.
So when I remove the Proxy I can download driver/application.

If you have anti virus software installed, disable that.
Turn off the Firewall in System Preferences > Security & Privacy
If you have any third party apps installed such as Little Snitch, Growl, FruitMenu or APE (Application Enhancer); any one or more can prevent apps from downloading.
If none of the above applies, installing the OS X Lion Update 10.7.3 (Client Combo) may help. Restart your Mac after the combo is installed. It's ok to do this even though you are already running v10.7.3
Third-party software that alters your system, such as FruitMenu or APE (Application Enhancer), may cause these issues.

App Store: impossible to download the application

I have a problem during the process of downloading any application in the App Store. The problem occurs when I download the updates, not when I download a new application. Particularly, it appears a windows with this advice "Impossible to download the application. Impossible to find the URL on this server." And a red advice also, near the update button "An error occurred".
Does anyone have any idea how to solve the problem?

Go to ~/Library/Caches/com.apple.appstore
Move the Cache.db file from the com.apple.appstore folder to the Trash.
Now go to /Library/Preferences/System Configuration
Move the NetworkInterfraces.plist file from the System Configuratin folder the Trash.
Retart your Mac.

Why cannot I do a backup? It does all of the non-specigic stuff, then hangs on the phone specific stuff at 77% complete. So far I have waited more than an hour on each version before killing the job.
The application installer will not even read the phone.

After installing the 64 bit version of itunes my iphone still won't sync. I get the explantation that I mobile driver application did not download and i need to remove and reinstall itunes (which I have done numberous times). Any help?

Let's try a standalone Apple Mobile Device Support install. It still might not install, but fingers crossed any error messages will give us a better idea of the underlying cause of why it's not installing under normal conditions.
Download and save a copy of the iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64setup.exe) installer file to your hard drive:

Download and install the free trial version of WinRAR:
http://www.rarlab.com/
Right-click the iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64setup.exe), and select "Extract to iTunesSetup" (or "Extract to iTunes64Setup"). WinRAR will expand the contents of the file into a folder called "iTunesSetup" (or "iTunes64Setup").
Go into the folder and doubleclick the AppleMobileDeviceSupport.msi (or AppleMobileDeviceSupport64.msi) to do a standalone AMDS install.
(If it offers you the choice to remove or repair, choose "Remove", and if the uninstall goes through successfully, see if you can reinstall by doubleclicking the AppleMobileDeviceSupport.msi again.)
Does it install (or uninstall and then reinstall) properly for you? If so, does your device connect without that message now?

I've been having some problems with the OneDrive app - I'm able to download and use it but whenever I search for it on the Mac App Store it says it needs updating even though it never shows up in Software Updates.
You may need to update your version of OS X from 10.8 to 10.8.5 (if indeed you are running 10.8) -> http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1676 and http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1686.
If you are on 10.8.5 already, I've no idea why you're unable to download. Try rebooting and opening the Mac App Store application again and give it another go.

Application iCal deleted - Impossible to download iCal on my MacBook

Hi,
I accidentally deleted the application iCal from my MacBook, and now it is impossible to download it again!
I've been on the apple website and the only iCal available to download is iCal 1.5.5 but this version does not work because it is not compatible with OS X 10.4 or later which is my case!
Can someone help me or give me a link where I can download iCal like before?

You should have iCal on the OSX installer disk.

You'll probably then need to run the OSX Combo updater to get it to the current version for your OS.

HP Officejet 4500 G510g windows 7 64 bit impossible to download working driver from HP

I am connecting to an HP officejet 4500 with no installation discs. I have been trying to download driver from HP . All the installations just advise tht it has stopped working. I have downloaded the correct drivers from HP website using Chrome and IE but same issues. It would appear that HP just do not have any "working drivers" available for this printer.
I am aware that I need to not have the usb cable attached when installing the driver. I have now tried installing same driver so many times now maybe I need to uninstal the previous driver instal attempts.
Either way, the HP printer ran out of warrenty Nov 2011 so I cannot chat direct to HP but guess could call them at a cost but just to get a working driver this should not be necessary.
The Product code of the printer appears to be CB867A.
Any advice much appreciated as otherwise it will have to go in the bin and never HP again.

Hi John,
First of all, click the start button and type %temp% within the search box.
Open the listed Temp folder.
Remove any of this folder's contrent by clicking CTRL + A and then the Delete key.
Any of this contect is a temporary content and can be deleted with no issues.
Next run the OJ4500vG510g_m_Full_13-en.exe once again.
Once the error appears again, run the patch as you listed on your previous post once again.
If it still points to the A-F folder, open the newly created HP folder within the same Temp folder, copy its path and paste it into the patch once it shows the installation path and check for any change.

The first thing to do with a second-hand computer is to erase the internal drive and install a clean copy of OS X. You — not the previous owner — must do that. How you do it depends on the model, and on whether you already own another Mac. If you're not sure of the model, enter the serial number on this page. Then find the model on this page to see what OS version was originally installed.
1. You don't own another Mac.
If the machine shipped with OS X 10.4 or 10.5, you need a boxed and shrink-wrapped retail Snow Leopard (OS X 10.6) installation disc from the Apple Store or a reputable reseller — not from eBay or anything of the kind. If the machine has less than 1 GB of memory, you'll need to add more in order to install 10.6. Preferably, install as much memory as it can take, according to the technical specifications.
If the machine shipped with OS X 10.6, you need the installation media that came with it: gray installation discs, or a USB flash drive for some MacBook Air models. For early MBA models, you may need a USB optical drive or Remote Disc. You should have received the media from the previous owner, but if you didn't, order replacements from Apple. A retail disc, or the gray discs from another model, will not work.
To boot from an optical disc or a flash drive, insert it, then reboot and hold down the C key at the startup chime. Release the key when you see the gray Apple logo on the screen.
If the machine shipped with OS X 10.7 or later, you don't need media. It should boot into Internet Recovery mode when you hold down the key combination option-command-R at the startup chime. Release the keys when you see a spinning globe.
2. You do own another Mac.
If you already own another Mac that was upgraded in the App Store to the version of OS X that you want to install, and if the new Mac is compatible with it, then you can install it. Use Recovery Disk Assistant to create a bootable USB device and boot the new Mac from it by holding down the C key at the startup chime. Alternatively, if you have a Time Machine backup of OS X 10.7.3 or later on an external hard drive (not a Time Capsule or other network device), you can boot from that by holding down the option key and selecting it from the row of icons that appears. Note that if your other Mac was never upgraded in the App Store, you can't use this method.
Once booted in Recovery, launch Disk Utility and select the icon of the internal drive — not any of the volume icons nested beneath it. In the Partition tab, select the default options: a GUID partition table with one data volume in Mac OS Extended (Journaled) format. This operation will permanently remove all existing data on the drive.
After partitioning, quit Disk Utility and run the OS X Installer. You will need the Apple ID and password that you used to upgrade. When the installation is done, the system will automatically reboot into the Setup Assistant, which will prompt you to transfer the data from another Mac, its backups, or from a Windows computer. If you have any data to transfer, this is usually the best time to do it.
Then run Software Update and install all available system updates from Apple. To upgrade to a major version of OS X newer than 10.6, get it from the Mac App Store. Note that you can't keep an upgraded version that was installed by the previous owner. He or she can't legally transfer it to you, and without the Apple ID you won't be able to update it in Software Update or reinstall, if that becomes necessary. The same goes for any App Store products that the previous owner installed — you have to repurchase them.
If the previous owner "accepted" the bundled iLife applications (iPhoto, iMovie, and Garage Band) in the App Store so that he or she could update them, then they're linked to that Apple ID and you won't be able to download them without buying them. Reportedly, Apple customer service has sometimes issued redemption codes for these apps to second owners who asked.
If the previous owner didn't deauthorize the computer in the iTunes Store under his Apple ID, you wont be able to authorize it immediately under your ID. In that case, you'll either have to wait up to 90 days or contact iTunes Support.

ITunes wont download paid applications

Hi i have recently bought an iPod touch but then sold it and got an iPhone 3GS.I cannot download paid applications on the touch, phone, and computer but they will sometimes take the money.I have about 50.00 of iTunes credit and my address is typed in correctly.What can i do to download them??
P.S. i can buy songs and videos and non paid apps.

Canada should update its laws to be relevant in the digital age. so dumb.
My problem is the same as OP. My sister is a minor and we thought this would be a way that she could independently download apps for her iPhone. Is that impossible? Is having a credit card on account the only way to download paid apps in the Canadian store? If so, that is incredibly disappointing.
Are there no work-arounds?

Unable to download an application on appworld?

Unable to download an application on appworld, be directly from my z10 or by scanning the QR code.
Similarly for updates applications error message.
I remove the battery, with wifi, free wifi, etc ... nothing could be done.
At first I thought was a memory problem, I still have my 10GB so the problems do not come from.
This happens with all the apps (paid or free) and I do not see or could be the problem?

Impossible de télécharger une application sur appworld, sois directement à partir de mon z10 ou en scannant le code QR. De même pour les mises à jour des applications message d'erreur. J'ai enlever la batterie, avec wifi, sans wifi, etc... rien y fait.
En premier j'ai penser a un problème de mémoire, mes il me reste 10 Go donc le soucis ne viens pas de la.

My iphone 4S keeps posting, "Improve Apple ID Security, choose three security questions and answers". I click "continue" and it doesn't give me the option and does not allow me to download an app

I would like to just chat w/someone about my issue. I downloaded an application for a job on Adobe Reader XI, but the fonts keep changing, for example: my signature is font size 14 & bold, and the date is size 10 & not bolded. I've tried saving it to word, and my flash drive. I get the same toolbar.
I cannot figure out how to change it, it's like the toolbar I need is not there. Can you help?

Did someone have experience to use downloaded driver for SR 245?

Did someone have experience to use downloaded driver for SR 245 to take data? I used GPIB-USB-HS cable (from NI) to collect data, and corrected GPIB address in the driver, which is found by M&A Explorer. When I ran this program driver, I saw ERROR light flashing one time and Activity light flashing for another time, but I got nothing for data. I used BNC cable to connect input signal in INPORT 1 in the front panel of SR 245, so there should have signal input. Do I need to change something in the program?

The EABO error usually indicates a timeout. This could be caused by a
few different things such as sending an
incorrect command or not appending the correct termination
character. I would check the manual for your device and see if it requires a certain type of termination character, as well as what commands it accepts. You can also find troubleshooting techniques for this error here and here.
