Impossible to import

I have seen this problem posted before but unfortunately no
answer. I am using RH6 and it just happened to me. I now cannot
import anything: html, word, htt; pdf...
The import dialog appears for a split second and then
disappears.
Impossible to find it (even when ataching a second monitor
placing it in every position possible to hopefully find the dialog
in the case the coordinates of window got changed for some reason).
The only solution I found so far was to reinstall RH under a
different user account. This is not a solution.
Anybody has a glimpse of an answer to this?

This thread has not established that when you installed RH,
you were logged into the PC under your profile with admin rights on
the PC.
Sometimes we assume too much. No offense intended.
If that's not the issue, cleaning up the registry can fix
some problems that are otherwise hard to track down. If you're not
comfortable doing it yourself, maybe your desktop support tech can
help you do the following:
Uninstall RH and 1-Step RoboPDF, if it's there.
Launch regedit.
Clean up the registry items mentioned in RH X5 uninstall
instructions. (If you thought you did this already, it's worth a
minute to verify that they aren't there.)
Search (Edit > Find) RoboPDF in Keys, Values and Data.
Delete each entry with RoboPDF. Sometimes the line will
disapper, and sometimes it will revert to a default (undefined)
status.
Install RH.
The usual disclaimer: It worked for me with no apparent ill
effects. If you make a mistake, you cannot easily restore what was
there, and consequences may be severe. Some people say you should
never edit in the registry without certain knowledge and/or formal
training.

Try these in order - from best option on down...
1. Do you have an up-to-date back up? If so, try copy the library6.iphoto file from the back up to the iPhoto Library allowing it to overwrite the damaged file.
2. Download <a href="http://www.fatcatsoftware.com/iplm/"><b><u>iPhoto Library Manager</b></u></a> and use its rebuild function. This will create a new library based on data in the albumdata.xml file. Not everything will be brought over - no slideshows, books or calendars, for instance - but it should get all your albums and keywords back.
Because this process creates an entirely new library and leaves your old one untouched, it is non-destructive, and if you're not happy with the results you can simply return to your old one.
3. If neither of these work then you'll need to create and populate a new library.
To create and populate a new *iPhoto 6* library:
Note this will give you a working library with the same Rolls and pictures as before, however, you will lose your albums, keywords, modified versions, books, calendars etc.
Move the iPhoto Library to the desktop
Launch iPhoto. It will ask if you wish to create a new Library. Say Yes.
Go into the iPhoto Library on your desktop and find the Originals folder. From the Originals folder drag the individual Roll Folders to the iPhoto Window and it will recreate them in the new library.
When you're sure all is well you can delete the iPhoto Library on your desktop.
In the future, in addition to your usual back up routine, you might like to make a copy of the library6.iPhoto file whenever you have made changes to the library as protection against database corruption.

I can not open any file because of this error :
"impossible d'importer le presse-papiers en raison d'une fin de fichier inattendue"
litteraly I suppose:
"impossible to import the clipboard because an unexpected end of file"
at the launch of Photoshop CS6 .
The [file/new] box doesn't open up.
The [file/open] box open up, but I can't open any file.
No log,
no other error.
Does someone know what's wrong with it ?

Maybe start with restoring the Preferences after making sure all customized presets like Actions, Patterns, Brushes etc. have been saved.

It is working for me. Two ways to import into an existing project:
Select a project and view it in the browser in split view. If you drag image files from a folder directly into the filmstrip, the dragged image files will be added to that project.
Or select a project in the library, before you open the Import panel. Then you can switch the destination project in the Import Settings from "new Project" to the selected project.
Have you tried these methods? Where does it not work for you?

I don't have your model but here are some things to try.
1) Make sure you are powering the camcorder with AC power not batteries.
2) Open iMovie before connecting the Camcorder
3) Connect the USB Cable and turn on the camcorder
4) Open the LCD screen of the camcorder. Does it give you a choice of Pictbridge vs. PC Mode. If so, choose PC Mode.
5) iMovie import screen should come up.
Also, make sure you have installed all software updates. (/Software Update). If the software update requires you to restart your Mac, then restart your Mac before proceeding. Install iMovie, iLife, Quicktime, and Leopard updates.
If that still does not work, try taking out your SD card and putting in a USB card reader.
If that still does not work, put the card back in the camcorder and make a disk image of the card using disk utility. After making the disk image, try formatting the card using your camcorder menu. Then retry shooting some footage and importing.
By the way, using MPEG streamclip should not create files any larger than iMovie will create using an import function.

Merci pour votre réponse. Ce que je ne comprends pas c’est que je peux ouvrir les fichiers directement du disque dur externe mais que Lightroom ne trouve plus rien.

After Effects CS5: impossible to import "special" .flv -Clips?

Hi,
apparently After Effects CS5 has trouble to import some kind of .flv-Clips (encoded with Sorenson Spark?).
I have a lot of these Clips, and its impossible to convert,because actually i work on some projects with CS4. Is there any way to to convince AE CS5 to import these flv.-Files? (->e.g. replace the flv.Encoder with the encoder from CS4, who has no problems and works fine....). Does anyone know the file-name of the encoder?
Or has anyone another solution?
Otherwise i couldnt use CS5 and i thrown the money down the drain...

Just download some demo clips from video-section and try to import them to AE CS4 (no problem) and CS5 (failure, even mith media encoder CS5)....
With CS4 it was easy to integrate quickly some of these footages to my projects. Now i have to make a detour with the media encoder.
Ok, better Adobe Media Encoder than no use of the upgrade....

1. Are you importing the pics to the NTFS drive? I don't think OS X plays well withthat format.

Impossible to import photos in 'Synchronize Folder' dialog. Bug?

When I try to synchronize a particular folder in LR3, the dialog says there are 16 new photos in that folder. On the import screen however, these photos are only shown if I uncheck the 'Don't import Suspected Duplicates' tickbox. If I do that and import the photos's, they indeed show up double in the database. But, if I tick that box, no photo's for import are shown.
I can find these photo's in LR using the filename. When I then use the 'Locate in Explorer' dialog in LR, they all ARE in that particular folder. Is this a bug? Is there a workaround? How do I get these photo's to show up in that folder?

I upgraded to Lightroom 5.7 and I can do the import of the pictures.

i add all the 2 files script for import collage ,into Adobe Photoshop CS6/Presets/Scripts Also
i open the file using the Scripts section in the file menu in Photoshop 5.5 File > Scripts > Import Adobe Collage.after the script open but say :there is a problem whith the file and saiy i have to don't unzip the collage file. the problem is that when i download the fileof creative cloud i don't have the choice.

The option is available now through Creative Cloud, if you upload your Collage project to Creative Cloud there is an option to download in PSD format
The steps would be:
1. Upload your project to Creative Cloud from the tablet
2. Open the Creative Cloud website (https://creative.adobe.com/) on the computer with Photoshop
3. In the Files section double-click the project to view it full screen
4. Use the download option to save the file on your computer and select PSD as the format to save the project in
5. Open the PSD in Photoshop from wherever you saved it on your computer

Its now impossible to import any media video !?

To the OP - welcome to the forum.
In follow up to Jim's comments:
This ARTICLE will give you some background on the AVI "wrapper," and tell you how to "peek inside" that wrapper.
If the CODEC inside the AVI is DivX/Xvid, you will most likely have issues and conversion of that delivery-only material is the best course of action.
If it's MJPEG, then there are "fixes" in most cases. See this ARTICLE, if MJPEG.
Good luck, and let us know the full specs. of that AV material.

alors que adobe presenter 9 et microsoft powerpoint 2010 win 7 pro32bits c'est ok
