Instal creative cloud after uninstall creative suite

I wanted to install Creative Cloud.
I could not download the apps, because there was an older version of Creative Suite. So first I uninstalled the old Creative Suite version.
After unstalling, now I even can't instal Creative Cloud anymore.
It just stops during the process.
I think some files of the Creative Suite version are still on my PC ...
How do I clean up everything from mij PC so its Adobefree and ready to install new items?

You should be able to retain the Creative Suite installation.

Downloading an installing Creative Cloud on a back up mac

I am a Creative Cloud member and have installed CS6 and more on my new iMac at the office – where everything works fine. Now I want this on my MacBook Pro, but I can't find where to download on my Adobe-ID account... I really need this to work at home (my laptop has CS3-versions and it's really annoying not to be able to handle documents I've put on Dropbox (at work)).
Please help.

Re-Installing Creative Cloud after hard drive crash

I recently had a hard drive crash and had to install a new hard drive. My old data was backed up on a slave disk but I can't get it to run again. I can't even uninstall the previous suite because the Control Panel - Add / Remove program window will not show the slave disk with the applications. If I install it again I don't want to use up the "second" download that comes with the purchase of the license. Where do I go from here?

If you did not deactivate your software before the crash, you can contact Adobe customer support (http://helpx.adobe.com/contact/) to enable your activation count. You can then install it again. I am not sure what you mean by "second download".

Trying to install Creative Cloud and get error a12e4 Mac

Hi, ive been searching through the forums for days now and have followed all the steps i could find to try to rectify this issue.
Ive tried installing adobe application manager but i get the same issue
Ive ran the adobe cc cleaner but that doesnt seem to do much
Ive tried installing via root user
Ive tried renaming a lot of files such as 'oobe' but nothing seems to work
Im using a 15'' Retina MBP 10.9.2

I have installed Creative Cloud Desktop but it fails to load. The icon shows up in the bar at the top right but then it just disappears. I am running Yosemite on a MacBook Pro.

I downloaded and installed Creative Cloud Installer and installed the Creative Cloud desktop on my MacBook Pro running Yosemite. The Creative Cloud desktop tries to install when the system starts and the icon actually shows in the top bar briefly and then disappears shortly after it shows up so it is obviously failing to load. I have tried multiple times to no avail.

do you mean in my system library? or where can I find it?

Vanb38462666 or Daniel do either of you have a Library/Input Managers folder? If so what do you have inside that folder?

Adobe CS6 Apps Shuts Down After Installing Creative Cloud.

I can't start my Photoshop, Illustrator or InDesign CS6 anymore, it just shuts down as soon as it's done loading, without any errors. Only Bridge CS6 will start.
I tried launching with Ctrl+Alt and Ctrl+Alt+Shift but it did not work.
Then I tried uninstalling it (With all the preferences as well), and install it again, that did nothing - still the same issue.
I updated windows and my gfx drivers (GeForece 332.21 - NVS4200M) after the issue started.
I tried both the 32bit and the 64bit version.
I have manually removed the preferences file.
I have disabled the firewall and my AV.
I have logged out and back in of the Creative Suite Utility.
My hosts file is not blocking any sites.
I am running Windows 7 Enterprise 64 bit.
I tried to open a issue on superuser but that did not help, nobody has awnsered it yet.

Dave: I did the Microsoft Update two days before this happened, and rebooted as required. I just created a new restore point and lauched Creative Cloud. Now I get the famous white screen:
It just sits and spins (been 10 minutes now).
Fortunately, I saved away this command (which I've had to use 4 or 5 times already):
del %USERPROFILE%\AppData\Local\Adobe\OOBE\opm.db
Unfortunately now, I get this (even after closing the above window):
The process cannot access the file because it is being used by another process.
So I killed everything that said "Adobe" in the task manager and this time, the command succeeded.
Fortunately, the current apps seem to still work. I can't seem to find the "Creative Cloud" app in the applications on my system, but I launched Photoshop CC, told it to look for updates, and got a list of the 5 prgorams that need updates in the Adobe Application manager:

JayneMarie I think your computer now has a 32 bit OS and since the CS5 version, Premiere Pro is not meant to work in a 32 bit environment.
Please check your OS details and make sure you have a 64-bit OS installed. If it isn't a 64-bit OS, you will need to reinstall the OS.

all adobe apps (PS, AE, PR, IL,... ) running fine even update runs ok... just can't install or run creative cloud. When run installer the progress bar hits 100% and just disappear and nothing happens. (to unninstal i used official remove tool)

Yes you can uninstall CS3 and CS5.5.
You can also do this before installing CS6 too.

Procedures to re-install Creative Cloud apps after from Win 7 to Win 8 Upgrade

I'm planning to upgrade my PC to from Win 7 64 bit to Win 8 64 bit. I currently have Creative Cloud apps installed on the Win 7 PC. I will have to reinstall all apps after the upgrade to Win 8. Before doing the upgrade, should I deactivate all Creative Cloud apps under Win 7 or will the software recognize that I'm on the same PC when I go to re-install my apps? So, same physical PC, but different operating systems.

When you install the operating system that you are licensed for, the installer will not require you to manually input a 25 character activation license key.
Any HP notebook manufactured from 2011 has been using the SLP method. That is why you don't see a Microsoft Certificate of Authenticity with the 25 character activation license key anywhere on the notebook.
