Impossible to update

Hello,
Big problem with updates. I spent many hours to try maninupulations with other adobe forums, but nobody understand or find a solution.  Here after links of forum conversations :

Resume of the problem and manipulations :
I can't install updates for adobe design and webpremium CS6. Actual version : CS6 (8.0.1.406)
I tried this :
1/ Through the Help menu
2/ Manual updaters at :
Adobe - Digital Publishing Suite : For Windows
Adobe - DPS Desktop Tools : For Windows
Adobe - InDesign : For Windows
=> No problem to install updates on CS5.5,  but not on CS6
3/  In safe mode
What's happened when trying : I get any error message. The Adobe Application Manager window is  empty and when I try to update with the software a window opens with the following message "recherche de mises à jour..." or "checking for updates..." but nothing... I wait and wait...

I have tried to update my AFX and Premiere to CC.
Are you trying to update the After effects cc or upgrade from CS6 to CC  ?
There are several steps you may perform:
1. If your are getting this error while updating AAM:
(a) Try to perform mentioned steps:
   Win: Go to C/Program Files(X86)/Common Files/Adobe/OOBE/PDApp and rename it to PDApp.old. Try to install again.
   Mac: Go to Library/Application Support/Adobe/OOBE/PDApp and rename it to PDApp.old. Try to install again.
2. If you are getting this error while installation resulting in installation failure:
  (a) Try to perform mentioned steps:
       Win: Open Task Manager/Go to processes/ manual kill AAM Update Notifier. Try to install again.
        Mac: Open Activity Monitor/ Manuall kill AAM Update Notifier. try to install again
If the above mentioned steps does not work please follow the mentioned steps:
Win: Enable hidden Admin: http://social.technet.microsoft.com/wiki/contents/articles/3040.enable -disable-the-local-hidden-built-in-administrator-account-in-windows-7. aspx and try the above mentioned steps in hidden admin account.
Mac: Enable root account: http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1528 and try the above mentioned steps.
Disable your security software and try installing again if stiil the same issue

    The first thing to do with a second-hand computer is to erase the internal drive and install a clean copy of OS X. You — not the previous owner — must do that. How you do it depends on the model, and on whether you already own another Mac. If you're not sure of the model, enter the serial number on this page. Then find the model on this page to see what OS version was originally installed.
    1. You don't own another Mac.
    If the machine shipped with OS X 10.4 or 10.5, you need a boxed and shrink-wrapped retail Snow Leopard (OS X 10.6) installation disc from the Apple Store or a reputable reseller — not from eBay or anything of the kind. If the machine has less than 1 GB of memory, you'll need to add more in order to install 10.6. Preferably, install as much memory as it can take, according to the technical specifications.
    If the machine shipped with OS X 10.6, you need the installation media that came with it: gray installation discs, or a USB flash drive for some MacBook Air models. For early MBA models, you may need a USB optical drive or Remote Disc. You should have received the media from the previous owner, but if you didn't, order replacements from Apple. A retail disc, or the gray discs from another model, will not work.
    To boot from an optical disc or a flash drive, insert it, then reboot and hold down the C key at the startup chime. Release the key when you see the gray Apple logo on the screen.
    If the machine shipped with OS X 10.7 or later, you don't need media. It should boot into Internet Recovery mode when you hold down the key combination option-command-R at the startup chime. Release the keys when you see a spinning globe.
    2. You do own another Mac.
    If you already own another Mac that was upgraded in the App Store to the version of OS X that you want to install, and if the new Mac is compatible with it, then you can install it. Use Recovery Disk Assistant to create a bootable USB device and boot the new Mac from it by holding down the C key at the startup chime. Alternatively, if you have a Time Machine backup of OS X 10.7.3 or later on an external hard drive (not a Time Capsule or other network device), you can boot from that by holding down the option key and selecting it from the row of icons that appears. Note that if your other Mac was never upgraded in the App Store, you can't use this method.
    Once booted in Recovery, launch Disk Utility and select the icon of the internal drive — not any of the volume icons nested beneath it. In the Partition tab, select the default options: a GUID partition table with one data volume in Mac OS Extended (Journaled) format. This operation will permanently remove all existing data on the drive.
    After partitioning, quit Disk Utility and run the OS X Installer. You will need the Apple ID and password that you used to upgrade. When the installation is done, the system will automatically reboot into the Setup Assistant, which will prompt you to transfer the data from another Mac, its backups, or from a Windows computer. If you have any data to transfer, this is usually the best time to do it.
    Then run Software Update and install all available system updates from Apple. To upgrade to a major version of OS X newer than 10.6, get it from the Mac App Store. Note that you can't keep an upgraded version that was installed by the previous owner. He or she can't legally transfer it to you, and without the Apple ID you won't be able to update it in Software Update or reinstall, if that becomes necessary. The same goes for any App Store products that the previous owner installed — you have to repurchase them.
    If the previous owner "accepted" the bundled iLife applications (iPhoto, iMovie, and Garage Band) in the App Store so that he or she could update them, then they're linked to that Apple ID and you won't be able to download them without buying them. Reportedly, Apple customer service has sometimes issued redemption codes for these apps to second owners who asked.
    If the previous owner didn't deauthorize the computer in the iTunes Store under his Apple ID, you wont be able to  authorize it immediately under your ID. In that case, you'll either have to wait up to 90 days or contact iTunes Support.

    This happens when you both use the same Apple ID for iMessage.  To fix this you have two choices:
    On one of the phones go to Settings>Messages>Send & Receive, tap the ID, sign out, then sign back in with a different ID.  Note: you can still share the same ID for purchasing in Settings>iTunes & App Stores; or
    On both phones go to Settings>Messages>Send & Receive and uncheck the email address(es) shown under "You can be reached by iMessage at".  Also uncheck the other phone's phone number, if present.

    I´m trying to update my plan to become a basic using form central. I have my ID but apparently I cant go forward the webpage , as they say my ID is Spanish and I am currently living in the UK.
    Any ideas?

    The point is that I do have UK credit card, but apparently my ID was " issue" in Spain. I do have an Spanish credit card as well, so this shouldn´t be a problem. The thing is that I´m not able to upgrade because my ID is Spanish and I´m in the UK.
    This doesn´t make sense at all to me. Any other ideas?

    The billing address associated with your Adobe ID must be in a Formscentral supported country. Additionally the credit card must be issued from a supported country. Can you please check that these are both true for your Adobe ID and let us know if you still have a problem upgrading?

    Try disabling the computer's antivirus and firewall.
    - Next try the manual install method of:
    iDevice Troubleshooting 101 :: iPhone, iPad, iPod touch
    Place the iPod in recovery mode after the firmware download is complete and then restore using the instructions in the article. Sometimes recovery mode timeouts and returns to disabled before the firmware download is complete.
    - Then try on another computer

  • Impossible to Update and Restore iPod 5 touch

    I have forgotten the passcode for my iPod touch 5 and it now says 'iPod is disabled'.  I have tried to restore it to factory settings but it seems impossible.  After I put the device in recovery mode and connect to my PC iTunes says 'iTunes has detected an iPod in recovery mode.  You must restore the iPod before it can be used with iTunes'.  I click on the Restore button and it says it has to update to ios 6.1.3 before it can restore.  It starts downloading the update but before the update finishes downloading (40 mins) the iPod comes out of recovery mode and iTunes says it cannot connect to device as it is locked with a passcode.  I then get stuck in an infinite loop.  I put the iPod back into recovery mode and goes though the same process but doesn't detect that it already has the download so it downloads it again (40 mins) and so on etc........
    What do I do?

    Hi
    I can't update 2 products in App Store : Wunderlist and BaseCamp Garmin. I get the following message :
    "Il nous est impossible d’accéder à votre demande.
    Une erreur est survenue dans l'App Store. Veuillez réessayer ultérieurement. (13)"
    which means that an error 13 happened in App Store.
    Login name and password are OK.

    Hi for any reasons it works again ! May be the fact to open and close iTunes new version ????

    Since beginning of july 2012, it is impossible to install any app from Appstore. It is not possible to update any application without having a big crash of the ipod which is almost three years old.

    Try the standard fixes:
    - Reset. Nothing is lost
    Reset iPod touch: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
    least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
    - Restore from backup
    - Restore to factory settings/new iPod
    If you still have the the problem that indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

  • Impossible to format, impossible to update

    I'm facing an odd situation with an old MUVO 28 MB.
    I can only run the first two or three songs, and then it starts to leap into the songs and after a while it stops at all.
    I have seen that a sort of "file ghost" remain in the device once deleted because I can see that the overall capacity is not 22 MB but less, but it looks like empty, if I try to format it following what is suggested here, it is impossible to format it because "windows was enable to complete the format" I can only do the quick format. After a quick format the capacity is restored to 22 MB.
    I've tried to update the driver, but searching for connected devices, it says, that any devices is connected to an USB port, when, obviously it is...... I have also tried to move the driver directly in the MUVO and run it from there, no way.....
    Any suggestions?

    You can still use the previous version of iMovie. That's what I'm doing until Apple releases an update that adds back missing features and fixes some of the problems people seem to be having. The old iMovie can be found here:

  • Impossible to update to iOS 5

    I have my iPad completely stucked after trying to upgrade to iOS 5 from 4.3.5. Upgrade failed with iTunes error 6, just after the upgrading firmware procedure. The iPad is gone in restore mode and iOS 5 is not installing. I already read all info on error 6 and got thru storing TCP params on Windows 7 x64. I also tried the restore from another PC running Win7 x86 and on a MacBookPro running Lion updated at last release: iTunes is giving always error 6 in the same moment on all platforms. ITunes is updated at the last available release. I tried also to restore after putting the iPad in DFU mode.
    My iPad results completely blocked and is out of warranty, since I bought it 16 months ago. What can I do? Is it possible that I've lost it with a simple upgrade and cannot do anything?
    Any help would be appreciated!

    On MacRumors, really, I didn't find anything useful. There are a lot of guy having a ton of issues in upgrading to iOS5 on iPad1, it seems.
    Many probably derive from "dirthy" PC, in fact many times it is solved changing PC or upgrading from a Mac. Unfortunately this is not my case, and also on Macs I have exactly the same issue (error 6). The funny thing is that, from Apple's docs and FAQ, all seems to be related to Windows wrong TCP settings, and from their point of view Macs should not be affected. So what has my iPad? An hardware issue arised on iOS5 upgrade? If so, my opinion is that it is defect from the birth, I think it's impossible to cause an hardware issue with an upgrade.
    I hope to receive any useful hint for my problem.

  • Impossible to update to Win 8.1

    I just bought a new Ideapad S500 notebook. 
    Standard installed is windows 8, but mentioned in the store was I could update it to 8.1.
    I tried maybe 10 times, but it is really impossible. I get the famous Black screen during the instalaltion of 8.1.
    I have contacted Lenovo support in the Netherlands a few times, but they have NO IDEA what to do. They are aware of this problem but advise NOT to update because the installation will fail and they blame it on Microsoft.
    So I also contacted Microsoft. They also know that many Lenovo systems are unable to update. They have tried 3 times to update my notebook to 8.1 (turning of some drivers each time) but.... again.. Black screen.
    Also Microsoft have now idea, and blame it on Lenovo's bad system
    To fully enjoy my OS, I really want it updated to 8.1. Does anybody had any idea what I can do?
    I'm really disapointed in the bad service of Lenovo in the Netherlands.

    Welcome to the Forums.
    If the S500 comes with Intel+Nvidia graphics via Optimus Technology  then it's possible that the issue is similar to this article (unit is also an S-Series but comes with Intel+AMD graphics). You can try to follow the fix that was suggested (change AMD to Nvidia) and observe.

    I have this same problem for around a year, so I just bought a Mac (Used one), I gave it permissions and tryed to backup/restore my iPhone, it just erased all my contacts with the previous owners contacts and kept only my messages and notes (Los my music, programs and calendars).......
    Since I'm not able to update iTunes on my PC it's impossible to restore my iPhone.....!
    This is a case for a real computer genious
    iPhone 3G
    Windows 7
    iTunes 10.4.1.10
    I dont mind (As much) about the music and programs, the must important thing I'd like to get back is my contacts and calendar.......
