Impossible to use fingerprint scan to buy apps

Hello
i just bought a 5s yesterday , i can use my fingerprint scanner to unlock the device it works like a charm .
However i want it also to be able to buy apps on appstore without having always to reenter my itunes password
It's not working ! Appstore keeps asking for a password ! but the option to use fingerprint on appstore is on !
Any clues ?

If you have a rescue email address (which is not the same thing as an alternate email address) set up on your account then you can try going to https://appleid.apple.com/ and click 'Manage your Apple ID' on the right-hand side of that page and log into your account. Then click on 'Password and Security' on the left-hand side of that page and on the right-hand side you might see an option to send security question reset info to your rescue email address.

I'm trying to use the VPP to buy apps for iPads but it says I need to use a different apple id?

We are a small, private school that recently purchased 40 iPad minis to use in the classroom. We have been using Apple Configurator and iTunes to manage the free apps on the iPads. Now we would like to purchase some apps and I went through the steps to enroll in the VPP. I was looking around today and when I tried to sign into the app store through the VPP it said that I couldn't use the same apple ID because it was assciated with iTunes. Do I need to create another one? WIll this interfere with the apps we already have? Or would this id only be used for the VPP and would not affect the free apps and the Apple Configurator operation? Thank you!

You can not login into iTunes or the App Store using VPP credentials. You must purchase all apps/book/etc. from the VPP website. Then you can redeem the codes thru itunes/app store or import the codes thru apple configurator. (It will not affect any of the apps you already have but the id can only be used for VPP.)

I am unable to download new apps. I get a message saying I am not able to purchase from the US store and I don't seem to be able to find a way to change the setting(there is no flag in the bottom right of my screen).

If your grandson has actually changed the location of your apple id as per say the country of your apple id then you need to go into iTunes on your computer and under account settings change the country back to Ireland.

Why can we not use available store credit to buy apps?

Recently I decided to stop using my credit card with the Apple iTunes store, as it seems that everytime I make the smallest purchase, I get dinged 2-3 times for the same purchase, then have to deal with Apple to get a refund for the over-billing ect.
I recently went out and bought a 100$ card and added it to my account. Worked great, been buying music left right and center, rented a bunch of movies. All great. Even love seeing my remaining balance right in iTunes.
Havent seen any problems except for the fact that you cannot use said store credit to send a gift to someone - you must bill it to your cc which is a pathetic move if you ask me. But no big deal.
But with the launch of the App store, I decided to try out an app or two.
I am using an iPod Touch.
Found a nice little solitaire game for 7.99$. A little pricey, but what the heck.
But again, you cannot use store credit to buy apps?
There is nothing I can find either on the site itself about the App store, or on iTunes, that says you can ONLY pay with Credit Card.
I should be allowed to buy anything that iTunes offers, with the card I bought.
Its called an iTunes Card. Not an iTunes Music Card. Not an iTunes Movies Card. Not an iTunes TV Shows Card.

That means if its available in my store (ie. Canadian), then I should be able to buy it plain and simple.
Apple, get your act together and get this fixed. Bad enough you let Rogers dictate the cost of the plans for the iPhone 2.0 Launch, and lost hundreds of customers before you even launched the **** thing - dont alienate customers who don't want to use credit cards on the store due to the terrible billing system you use.

You can give feed back to Apple from the iTunes drop-down menu in the iTunes menu bar..

Apple Configurator Buy App Problem

I working in Hong Kong School, Our School have over 150 ipad, I used the apple configurator to synchronous all of ipad free App,
Now, Our School want to buy some App to user, I see your apple support communities need Using Volume Purchase Program (VPP) Redemption Codes to buy the App. But the Education VPP Program Manager Enrollment can not select my country Hong Kong, How can I use the VPP to buy App?

Basically, you go to the Apple Volume Purchase Program for Education Store and find the app you want. You select an app and how many copies you want…lets say 20 copies. You then download an Excel spreadsheet that includes 20 VPP Redemption Codes. You take this Excel file and import it into Apple Configurator. As you install the app using Apple Configurator, it keeps track of how many codes you've used. After you've installed it on 20 iPads, you will no longer be able to install the app on additional iPads unless you purchase more VPP codes.

HP Scan to Email App is Broken Again

The Scan to Email App is Broken Again!
Printer: HP6700 Officejet Premium
I kept having the dreaded "Cannot cannot to the Internet" error when trying to use the Scan to Email App
The app has been working fine for a few months; there were no changes to the system, and then, it just stopped working - again.
I've stopped and re-started Web Services, gone thru the Wirless Network Setup again, and re-registered the printer with HP Connect. I've also removed and then added the Print to Email App again.
Now when I try to set-up the Scan to Email App and try to enter the PIN that was emailed to me I get:
Internal Processing Error
Please let me know how to fix this!!

Server Connection Error - Scan to Email App

Hello,
Out of the blue my scan to email app is no longer working on my HP Officejet Pro 8600. I am getting the error that says check the connection to your server. I have done this. My server connection is just fine, and my WiFi signal strength is very strong. I have no problem e-printing I just can't scan to email anymore. I have unplugged, restarted, restored, and updated the firmware, but still no luck.
I see a lot of you are having a similar problem.

Is it possible to use fingerprint for App Store purchases but still be able to just swipe to unlock the phone?

I seem to make it where I can unlock my iPhone 6 with a mere swipe (without a passcode or fingerprint scan) and still be able to use fingerprint for app purchases. Is this possible?

I'm not sure if we can directly convert the Android project to Windows Phone/Store app project, but we can share the code between deferent platforms, as the documentation says here:

If the code is specific to Android platform, it's not possible to convert it to windows platform I think.

I am from Bangladesh, I recently bouhgt iPad Air 2. Now I am interested to buy Apps from iTunes Store with my Credit Card, Can I? I am asking this question because yesterday I used my credit card to buy GoodReader Apps with price tag $0.99 from iTunes Store, after clicked BUY option then I put my credit card information as soon as Apps Store showing me a message that my address mismatch with the provided with the bank. As a result I haven't able BUY the App from the store, but my credit card account charged with $0.99. But I did not got the app GoodReader with price Tag $0.99.
Please give me a proper guide. And also why the iTunes Store charged my credit card account though they have not permit me to buy the app? How to claim to reverse the amount?

Each time that you try to add a card, or change its details on an account, a small temporary store holding charge may be applied to check that the card details are correct and valid and that it's registered to exactly the same name and address as on your iTunes account - your card issuer should remove within a few days or so.

In terms of buying content, you have to be in a country to use its store, and have a billing address in that country on your account (you also cannot use a credit card issued by a bank from another country). As far as I can see there isn't currently an iTunes store in Bangladesh, until if/when Apple open one then unfortunately you won't be able to buy any iTunes content (apps, music etc)

This happens when you both use the same Apple ID for iMessage. To fix this you have two choices:
On one of the phones go to Settings>Messages>Send & Receive, tap the ID, sign out, then sign back in with a different ID. Note: you can still share the same ID for purchasing in Settings>iTunes & App Stores; or
On both phones go to Settings>Messages>Send & Receive and uncheck the email address(es) shown under "You can be reached by iMessage at". Also uncheck the other phone's phone number, if present.

We have a school imac that I use to keep the devices updated with Apple Configurator (not connected to our network), and this doesn't seem to offer any solution to download them either. I was told there was a setting in Apple Configurator to allow other computers to download from supervised devices, but I can't see it anywhere. I am very new to this so any advice or help would be greatly appreciated please.

I assume you are wanting to take the photos and movies off the iPads?
Connect the iPad to a Apple computer. Open "Image Capture". Any photos or video can me imported to the desktop or other location on your computer.
I had this same problem last year and as we have no wifi I asked lots of people at Apple what I could do - no one provided this answer (a little unbelievable!). If you have wifi using something like dropbox would be an easier solution.

How to re download apps from the Mac App Store:
Open the App Store. From the menu bar click Store > Sign In
Click Purchases from the top of the App Store window.
Select which apps you want to re download. Then right or control click where you see Installed then click Install.
Make sure and use the same Apple ID used for the original purchase.
