Impossible to use MediaSource after installing PlayforSure upgrade for ZEN Mic

This seems ridiculous but it seems like once you install the latest software update so the Zen Micro works with WMP 0, MediaSource will no longer detect the Zen Micro. Why would a company make a software update that stops you from using its own product? Creative please make another update that allows you to use both WMP 0 and MediaSource. Its ridiculous that I have to choose one or the other. MediaSource is so much better when it comes to organizing music already on your Micro. Plus "syncing" with WMP 0 is a joke. If you change one thing on a song such as genre or album and then sync, all it does is add the song to your player, it doesn't update the current file. I learned this the hard way.
You really need to make it clearer that MediaSource will not work once you install the playforsure update. I would never of installed it if I knew that.

I just read it over again and it says the following:
Require software updates if you want to use any currently installed applications like Creative MediaSource?, Zen Media Explorer, or other track management tools with your player.
To me it implies that there is a software update available to let you use both. Still I think they should of put these warings in bold and made it much more clearer. Anyways is there a way to revert back to the old way and still be able to play songs purchased from sites such as Napster on the Micro?

After my initial mystery problem on accessing Facebook on my new Nokia 6700 Slide (as mentioned elsewhere on this forum), I was eventually able to access it with no problems, had saved my login info, so hitting the Facebook button was all I needed..
However, last night, I was going to do a quick FB check, and hit the button as usual. I found that I was now logged out.
As I started entering my login info, a link popped up, saying that a Facebook upgrade was available.
I thought, I might as well upgrade there and then, to keep my phone applications up to date.
Mistake
Downloading & installation went fine, I got the notification saying that installation was complete.. But when I hit the FB button to enter my login info, the login screen would not stay on the screen at all! As I hit the button, the login screen appears for maybe less than one second, but there seems to be no way of making it stay on screen, so that I could actually enter my info.
I checked whether there was an alternate way of accessing FB, rather than using the button I have on my quick menu bar.. I found that, after installing the upgrade, I now had a FB link in Menu > Applications > Installations (I know it wasn't there before as the only default installation was G.I.JOE, the game, and I'd since added Backgammon and nothing else). I tried logging in that way, but the same thing happens - login screen won't stay open.
I wonder, is this happening to anyone else, and would anyone have an idea on how to fix it? (Is there a way to uninstall the upgrade that messed things up? Is the upgrade at fault, and is there a new upgrade on the way soonish?)

O...k.... As with the previous FB-related problem, this one seems to have sorted itself with time as well!
Maybe next time, I'll give it a day before posting yet another topic here

I do not know if a similar one will be required for AutoCAD LT so be sure to check their website.

Can't start Tomcat after installing Bea WorkShop for JSP

I have been using Eclipse SDK Version: 3.1.2 Build id: M20060118-1600 and Web Tools Project 1.0.2 and Tomcat 5.0 and Tomcat 5.5 for about 2 months with no problems. But now I Can't start Tomcat after installing Bea WorkShop for JSP plug-in. I get "Server Tomcat v5.0 @ localhost failed to start". Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I installed BEA Workshop for JSP Version: 3.1.0
Build id: 536. I only wanted to install the plug-in to my existng Eclipse 3.1 / WTP application. The only option that I saw was to download the entire FullWorkshopFreeInstall-536.zip, which is 192,496 KB. During the installation, there is a screen that you can specify to only install the plug-in - and I selected that option. Today, I chose to uninstall the BEA Workshop for JSP and then I was again able to start Tomcat server. I then did a complete install of BEA Workshop for JSP into a totally separate location. My original Eclipse installation still works fine, but my Workshop for JSP Version (which is now a completely new installation) has the same problem with Tomcat that I reported with the plug-in. I am using j2sdk1.4.2_08 and have tried both Tomcat 5.0 and Tomcat 5.5. I have the same problem with both Windows XP Home Edition and Windows XP Professional.

Will the Software Update to 10.4.7 install firmware upgrade for a SuperDrive?
I have a Mac mini and I've just let the Software Update run as needed, but I am confused by the number of Apple update downloads listed.
I don't believe I need them, when I just use Software Update?
Seems like a simple question, but I was on Windows for the last 10 years.

@MikeNTxs - 64bit USB drivers have been available since April of 2010, and they do work. I've synced successfully to my Vista64 bit laptop many times via USB.

Go to Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs (Win XP) or Programs and Features (later)
Remove all of these items in the following order:
iTunes
Apple Software Update
Apple Mobile Device Support (if this won't uninstall move on to the next item)
Bonjour
Apple Application Support
Reboot, download iTunes, then reinstall, either using an account with administrative rights, or right-clicking the downloaded installer and selecting Run as Administrator.
The uninstall and reinstall process will preserve your iTunes library and settings, but ideally you would back up the library and your other important personal documents and data on a regular basis. See this user tip for a suggested technique.

I first installed an upgrade for LR5 from discs which I purchased some weeks ago and seemed to be using the installation to work on my photographs. Then a screen appeared talking about an upgrade which seemed to be an update to the discs already installed for LR5 so I downloaded it while continuing to work on photos. There were no instructions to close application. When I did close the application at the end of my work session and then tried to reopen Lightroom it is asking for a serial number. When I put in the serial number I have on the discs it says can't use that because it's already being used. So my question is can I deinstall this latest download and either recover the earlier version or reinstall the discs? I would like to use the latest catalogue so that I have my latest work that I've done on my photos.

Which version of OS X do you have? It's not clear from your post whether "installed an upgrade" means you just installed PSE 13 as an upgrade or you installed an update to PSE 13, like ACR 9 or 13.1. Please clarify.

Actually it sometimes gets a little further, the display will dim and the pointer will appear and then whoop it will turn off. if i do a verbose start up, it will finish all the steps, the white screen will appear and dim and then it will turn off.

Did you back these books up to your computer before updating to iOS 8? It is always suggested that you back everything up before updating, so if something goes wrong, you can easily put them back on.
You should just be able to plug the device into the computer you sync to and they should sync as long as you have "Sync Books" ticked in the books section.

Usually this is because the activation server is temporarily unavailable. Try again in 20 minutes or so.

All Good. Are there any pending updates for MS Office by chance? Just check under the Help menu in the top Menu when you open Word.

After installing or upgrading to Firefox 31, starting Firefox does not show homepage, customize shows a blank page and the option button does not work

I am the Windows admin for a university department and install PCs with Firefox all the time. This problem does not happen with every PC I maintain, only a select few (different model laptops with Windows 8.1 and update 1.) Until today, it only happened with new user accounts (with admin rights) that I setup on the laptops for our staff. Today this happened with The Administrator account while setting up a new laptop. In all cases so far, I install Windows from a saved image that was created using sysprep.
I have tried the many suggestions of resetting Firefox, deleting the users Firefox profile, deleting the users Windows profile, uninstalling/reinstalling Firefox, uninstalling/reinstalling Firefox and the latest Java, but nothing helps. After uninstalling, I run an app to delete temp files and caches and will even manually remove registry keys HKLM\SOFTWARE\Mozilla and HKCU\SOFTWARE\Mozilla. Plus I reboot and make sure the install folder is deleted after uninstall.
Results are the same: after installing Firefox 31, the initial setup window for migrating IE and/or Chrome pops up and after clicking the Finish button, Firefox starts, but does not show the initial new user page, only a blank page. Clicking on the Options button (3 bars) does nothing. Right-clicking in the proper area, the popup menu appears so I can choose to Customize, but that only opens another tab with about:customize in the URL and the page is blank. From the right-click popup menu, I can enable the Menu Bar and get to Options from that.
My latest attempt has helped a little. I uninstalled Firefox 31, cleaned up, deleted user Firefox profile, rebooted and then installed Firefox 30. Inital startup runs, and tells me I'm not up to date, and the Options button works. But I still cannot customize.
I then upgraded to Firefox 31, but then it's back to no startup page, no options button and no customize. I can downgrade to 30 and get all but customize working again.
Only Addon is one for McAfee Scriptscan for Firefox 15.1.0, which just after installing is disabled.
Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

Ok. I disabled hardware acceleration. The only extension is the McAfee Scriptscan for Firefox 15.1.0, which was already disabled. I then disabled all plugins (Acrobat, Google Update, Intel Identity Protection (2x), Java Deployment Toolkit, Java Platform, MS Office 2013, Quicktime, Shockwave, Silverlight), which were all up to date.
Normal or safe mode still has same result. No startup, no option button and no customize.
