Improper Download

Every time that I attempt to reinstall iTunes, I get an error message that reads "iTunes has installed improperly. Please reinstall iTunes.
Error 7 (Windows error 998)"
However, I had iTunes originally, then something went wrong that forced me to uninstall it. I have tried both uninstalling and reinstalling iTunes, and trying to download the repair without success. How can I get iTunes to install properly so that I did not waste $22 on a Doctor Who series that was fully downloaded yet?

All song downloads from the iTunes Store are in AAC format. If you want to convert them, use iTunes to convert, per this guide:
iTunes: How to convert a song to a different file format - Apple Support
You also have the option of buying the songs in MP3 format in the first place, e.g. from Amazon Digital Music.

They seem to be word files - they will open if I choose "open with" microsoft word, but if I double click they don't open they are appearing as PDF on my screen. I even opened one and then tried to "save as" making sure I chose .doc and they still appear as PDF
I just created a new document response.doc in word and when I saved to my desktop it appears as a PDF file and I absolutely did not create a PDF or save as PDF it was a simple word
doc.
The message says "Adobe reader could not open response.doc because it is either not a supported file type or because the file has been damaged (for example attached in an email and not properly decoded)
The reader version is I believe the most current, I always update when prompted. OS is Windows 8

Improper download of album

I recently downloaded an album (Iretsu - The Moon and Stars in the Morning Sky) and all of the tracks are a series of clicking noises. When I went back to preview the album after I downloaded it, it was also a series of clicking noises. How do I go about getting Itunes to rectify this problem and upload the proper album and give me the album I paid for?

It may take them 2-3 days to respond but they will take care of your problem. They will either allow you to download the album again and if that don't fix the problem, refund your money.

Suddenly cant open itunes. message says the program was downloaded incorrectly

I recently was notified by apple that an update was available for itunes and I downloaded it to my windows operating system on my laptop. Now I can't use I tunes on my computer. It said that the program was improperly downloaded and should be redownloaded.
I have before only followed apple wizard for their downloads, and don't know how to proceed. Should I uninstall I tunes via my control panel and then go to I tunes and download as if I were a new user?

Problem in installing appServer in Win2000

Hi, I installed a evaluation version of iPlanet App Sever6.0SP3. While installing, it seems everthing is going fine. But actually it is not installed. No physical file, no icons added to the Program. I am installing on Win2000. My file system is FAT32. Any help ?

Please check if you are having any directory under C drive, you actually should be having something called iAS or iPlanet, but you may not find any. This is a common issue and occurs because of either improper download or bits corruption during download and many have reported this issue. Unfortunately the only way to overcome this is to re download the s/w again and I'm sure you will succeed and FAT32 is good for iAS to work. Happy iAS ing.

Installing Forte Web Enterprise.

Need help on installing the Forte Web Enterprise. After installing
the WebEnterprise, I am suppose to test on the IIOP capabilities on each
machine(refer to WebEnterprise Installation Guide r1.0.c).
The steps are:
1 In the Forté workshops, create a project named TestIIOPproject.
2 Create a non-window class named TestMgr.
3 Create a TOOL class service object based on the TestMgr class.
4 Select the new service object in the Project Workshop.
5 Choose File > Configure as Server.
6. In the Partition Workshop, double-click the service object.
7. Click the Export tab.
8 Choose the External Type > IIOP command.
On the server node, all steps were carried out fine, but on my client
node, after I click the <Export> tab, under the <External Type>
droplist, there's no IIOP option. There options available are DCE,
Encina, Tuxedo, Object Broker and OLE. Why?
Anybody knows anything about this?

line. Perhaps "set -x" is already there commented, remove
that comment. That way you will come to know on which
instruction it is throwing "File not found" error.
Other problems could be 1. file permissions, 2. path settings

I tried to download video from RCA Small Wonder EZ201 to my new macbook pro. Macbook pro recognizes the device but then message appears that device was improperly ejected when it is still connected. How can I download these videos?

When I connect the RCA Small Wonder to my MacBook Pro, the device is recognized in finder as EZ201. I tried to copy the video files in the folder but within a minute or two, I receive a message that the disk was ejected improperly, even though the device is still connected. I was able to download the first few videos before it stopped working and was able to play them using Perian. However, when I tried to connect the device again, it froze my system and I had to force a shut down by turning the computer off. Why is the device initially recongized but then shows as improperly ejected when it is still connected? How can I download the videos if the MacBook Pro won't allow the device to stay connected?

This is the one that has the files for the backups procured by the Time Machine program. But it can't "connect"-- You 'll see int he sideways pic (sorry!) that the options STILL says "connecting"
Do i have to make these Time Machines more open to connection?

Software Download v6.1.1 Error to FP-2000 Results in Safe Mode (Improper Installation)

I have (4) FP-2000 modules (P/N 187685G-01) and (1) FP-2000 (P/N 187685C-01) and I am trying to install LabVIEW RT version 6.1.1. I attempted to download the 6.1.1 software onto the fieldpoint, however, the installation results in safe mode (improper installation). I tried to download the software again but still getting the same message. Configuring the FP is not an issue, just downloading software. I've reviewed other discussion forums and I am not seeing my particular situation. I am sure if I had a part number at rev A, the installation would not be an issue. Can anyone tell me how I can install the FP software without receiving the "safe mode (improper installation)" error?

1. I am using Windows XP. I've used this same PC to download the fieldpoint software to another FP-2000 before. The revision of the fieldpoint that I was successful with was rev A.
2. No. Using fieldpoint software 3.0.2. Haven't made any NI driver updates to this PC.
3. Installing the software one by one:
When attempting to download Fieldpoint VI Manager v1.0.28, Fieldpoint Watchdog v1.0.28, IA Control Environment v4.1.6 or NI-Serial v2.0.2, an error is received:

Open Finder preferences, click on the General icon in the toolbar. Check the boxes for what you want displayed on the Desktop. Click on the Sidebar icon in the toolbar and do the same for what you want displayed in the sidebar.

Improper Image format after PDF download in OBI 10.1.3.3.2

Hi Guys,
I want to display an Image on OBI Dashboard page with a Customer logo along with rest of the Reports embedded in it.
1) I am embedding the image(.bmp image file) using the Image/Link option available in Edit Dashboard
2) I have kept the image file in the path >>> OracleBI\web\app\res\s_oracle10\images
3) In the Image/Link properties window, I am providing the path of the image using the following text>>> fmap:images/aspire.bmp
It works fine when I refresh the page once I save the dashboard page. Image is clearly visible.
Issue is when I download the page into PDF format then the image is displaying in very small size._
I have already tried,
a) to increase the image resolution and then include in dashboard page.
b) to convert the .bmp into .jpeg & .gif file formats also. But it doesn't seem to work in either case.
Could anyone please help on this asap

as you will search in many threads in this forum and blogs generally,Oracle recomends simple reports with pdf..For more detail you have to use Xml Publisher....

1.put your image in seperate section...customize also the section...

Got charged improperly for a movie download

Tried to download a movie for a plane trip. My wife tried first on her iPad and found she did not have enough memory. Then I tried on my iPhone 6 plus and although it said it was downloaded it didn't play on the plane. We got charged twice for a movie we could not watch. Tried to find support to get credit but can't find anything. What now?

Are you and your wife using the same iTunes account on your iPad and iPhone, and if you are how did you try to download the film ? If you are using the same account and you used the Purchased tab in the iTunes store app on your phone (assuming that you are in a country where films can be redownloaded) then you shouldn't have been charged again - you can use the 'report a problem' page to contact iTunes Support : http://reportaproblem.apple.com

sorry to say but if that error is in place, there is only one way to fix it. By uninstalling the itunes and re-installing it back. It will not take that long since apple has done a great job managing the installation, there must have some missing components that was not recognized as installed.
To ensure that your installation will be flawless, its a great way to close all windows and perhaps other applications running at the back, and wait a couple of minute until the installation is complete
