Improting H264 MP4 format video

Hello.
I have been trying to import videos that I recorded of my gameplay with AverMedia Live Gamer HD capture card.4
I have used H264 format and m.mp4 file extension. In older version of CC Premiere Pro videos did work just fine now in 2014 version I just get green screen in videos and I have no idea why.
Interesting is that I tried to transcode one video with media encoder to mp4 format and that did work out.m
So I am wondering that what is going on here.
If you do need any more details please ask and I provide. I just can't figure what would be useful at this point.

Now strange thing is that when I change video format to TS (H.264+AAC) videos are working with latest premiere pro... what is causing that ?
Also if I use Premiere pro CC (OLD ONE) with that .mp4 files work as well.

    two ways you can try.
    1.Shorten your mp4 file name, make it simple and short if it has a long name.
    2. please bear in mind the general limits which the iPod carries~
    H.264 video: up to 768 Kbps, 320x240, 30 frames per sec., Baseline Profile up to Level 1.3 with AAC-LC up to 160 Kbps, 48 Khz, stereo audio in .m4v, .mp4 and .mov file formats.
    MPEG-4 video: up to 2.5 mbps, 480x480, 30 frames per sec., Simple Profile with AAC-LC up to 160 Kbps, 48 Khz, stereo audio in .m4v, .mp4 and .mov file formats

    What do you expect using a different media-container?
    and, btw, the movs in iM are transcoded (into aic)  files, the original mts contains h264 encoded stuff.
    there many options to rewrap that lossless into mov, mp4, flv, mkv, whatever wrapper ...
    depending on, what your next step is ......

    I've got two files which is in .mp4 format, I tried to edited it in iMOVIES but it came up with only audio no video. So then I tried to put that two .mp4 video directly into iDVD, but it also didn't work. There is no problem when I try to view .mp4 file in quicktime player.

    OK, here are the results of my experimenting:
    ffmpegX wasn't happy making the conversion and froze. I didn't try 'playing' with it to make it work. I guess I can't recommend this approached for you.
    I DID have success creating a DVD from your file using Roxio's Toast Titanium 7 (you must have version 7 to do this).
    It was a slow process - your 0:03:46 clip required abount an hour on my 1.33 G4 PowerBook. The process might have been slightly slowed because in addition from going from MPG-4 to MPG-2 (and converting the audio), it was also converting from PAL to NTSC (the source video is 25 fps).
    In my opinion, the results looked pretty poor when viewed on a TV. About what I'd expect starting with a small (662x384 pixel), highly compressed MPG-4 image file.
    Stick to viewing them on your computer with the VLC Media Player. You'll be a lot happier.

    In addition to Mike's suggestions,  you only have 4GB of RAM and Mavericks does use more RAM than other versions. You may also want to look at the apps that startup on login and the possiblity of upgrading RAM.

    I am using adobe ams(development version) to record video files in mp4 format using rtmp protocol. I am using mp4 as the file extension and as the stream specifier(codec).The videos are saving correctly.When i copy these files on a mobile device(android and iOS) they are not playing.Can somebody tell what I am doing wrong.
    The rtmp url I am using is rtmp://localhost:1935/mp4:videoname.mp4

    These are the two files that I created .The first file is created by the default codec used by Flash player.
    The second file(h264codec.mp4) is created by using Flash player 11 and as3 . I have encoded the file using h.264/AAC.

    Thanks in advance . These two files stream successfully in the web application using flash player and as3 .I can play both of them in VLC too. But these files wont play on any mobile device(both android and iOS).

    I have a problem with my videos, well first of all I took videos with a camera for my school proyects and then I want to send those videos to my Ipad but there is a problem because when I tried to send my videos it said that those videos could not be synced and then I checked the video´s properties and it says that the format of those videos are .MP4 instead of the .mp4 format and i want to ask the community if there are other types of .mp4 formats and how I can send my videos?

    thats way too vague of a question... best what?  quality? size? playback?
    best quality then use high bitrate, small size use low bitrate.

    To be more precise: You MUST shoot in mov. Then drag the Clip bins from the card to you hard drive. Then drag the clips to FCP timeline and FCP asks you if you want to change to the right codec and of course you say YES. Now you can start editing. Can not be more simple. This camera was specially designed for use with FCP.

    I just took some video this morning with my 8330 and uploaded it onto my computer. Unfortunately all three video files were uploaded in the MP4 format, thus making them unviewable on my computer. My Windows Media Player only plays mp3 formatted files.
    Is there some way to change these files before uploading them on my computer, or after? Or am I just going to have to deal with them all being MP4? Thanks for any help!

    I just upgraded my 8300 to OS 4.5, shot a video, Emailed it as an attachment to my desktop, and it came as a .amr file, whatever that is.  Anyone have any idea as to how to play it back, or convert it to a more standard format?

    What Julianne said at first about re-linking made perfect sense and I followed it easily, had actually already been there.  But in my situation now, it didn't have any effect.  The directory of folders which had already been added were still just as they were, and the outstanding balance are not in the desired position.  And the folders which had been brought in earlier today when I clicked "synchronize folder", were still missing all the metadata.
    Maybe this means I need to start over, and I'm fine about doing that that, but I don't know what it takes to accomplish that.  I'm concerned now that any changes I make out of guesswork could only make the problem harder to resolve.  It just feels to me like something I did at the beginning just wasn't right, and now it's a tangle.
    Can you advise?
